        This study aims to establish a strategy for selling kimchi to satisfy the needs and wants of European consumers through survey, FGI, and IDI. All survey participants were Europeans and were selected on the basis of their kimchi awareness. For the quantitative survey, 246 participants 15 years or older were selected; for FGI, 33 participants aged between 20 and 49 were selected; and for IDI, eight chefs were selected. The survey included four steps of ‘Awareness-First try-Needs-Future consumption’. The participants got to know kimchi through the Internet; for example, by visiting Korea and Hallyu, and suggested positive comments, including ‘fancy’ and ‘exotic.’ While satisfaction with kimchi sharply decreased due to taste and appearance in the first try of kimchi, it is important to provide the best first-try experience. It also showed that important needs for kimchi are ‘hot sensation’ , ‘crunchiness’ and ‘presentation’. They gave a negative answer to combination with traditional cuisines of their own country, but provided positive comments for benchmarking the use of traditional pickled foods. This study suggests that it may be necessary to implement a two-track strategy by the traditional kimchi as a ‘strategic product’ and localized kimchi as a ‘key product’.

        세계 에너지 소비와 에너지 수요가 급격히 증가함에 따라 환경문제와 지속가능성에 대한 관심이 요즘 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 신재생에너지 중 해상풍력발전과 같은 깨끗하고 재생가능한 에너지자원은 대체에너지 자원으로 주목받고 있다. 유지보수 및 운영상의 관점에서 해상풍력발전은 일반적으로 연근해해역에 설치될 계획이지만 해상풍력발전단지의 개발은 계획된 풍력단지를 따라 기존의 해상교통으로부터 다양한 해상교통 간섭에 직면해 있는 실정이다. 해상풍력발전단지 인근해역 및 단지 내에서 해상교통을 안전하고 효과적으로 통제하기 위해 선박이 해상풍력단지 내에서 통항할 수 있도록 표준 기준을 제안한다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적은 국외 해상풍력발전단지의 현지 규정을 조사하여 해상풍력발전단지에 대한 선박통항 허용 및 안전구역 기준을 수립 하는데 있다. 풍력단지의 내측 안전구역은 풍력터빈 날개 회전직경의 150%를 적용한 거리와 외측안전구역으로는 외곽에 위치한 풍력터빈으로부터 200 m의 범위의 거리를 제시하였으며, 또한 풍력단지 내 선박통항 허용기준은 풍력터빈 날개의 높이와 조위를 평가하여 향후 서남해 해상풍력발전단지의 실증단지 해역에서 Air draft 14.47 m가 선체 접촉을 피할 수 있는 최소 마진을 가진 기준을 제시하였다. 향후 연구과제로서, 단일 해상풍력단지 내의 선박통항 기준과 더불어 인접한 해상풍력단지 간의 선박통항 기준마련을 위한 후속연구가 필요하다.

        TMR 급여와 분리급여가 반추위 메탄발생량 변화에 미치는 효과를 연구한 사례가 많지 않다. 본 실험은 1일 실험사료를 체중의 1.8%(실험 1) 그리고 2.4%(실험 2) 수준에서 급여 하면서 triplicated 2×2 Latin square design을 이용하여 실험을 수행하였다. 각 실험에는 6마리의 Holstein steer를 이용하였고 2개의 군으로 나누어 각각 TMR 급여 또는 분리급여를 하였다. 공시 사료의 농후사료와 조사료 비율은 73% 그리고 27%이었다. 두 실험 모두 사료급여 방식 간의 1일 메탄발생량 차이가 없었다. 현재까지 보고된 국내 연구와 본 연구에서 얻어진 개체 별 1일 건물섭취량과 1일 메탄발생량과의 관계를 분석한 결과, 메탄발생량 (g/d) = 11.5 (±1.3) × 건물섭취량 (kg/d) + 14.2, R2 = 0.73, p<0.001의 회귀식을 유도하였다.

        Chlor-alkali (CA) membranes as key materials to generate chlorine gas and sodium hydroxide are composed of sulfonic acid layer (S-layer) and carboxylic acid layer (C-layer) to provide fast sodium ion transport and slow hydroxide ion diffusion, respectively. Aciplex F, a representative CA membrane is made in a double layer form via thermal adhesion of both layers after each single layer film is independently fabricated. Unfortunately, the membrane fabrication induces delamination particularly in their interface as a result of hydroxide ion diffusion occurring during CA operation, leading to rapid increase in electrochemical overpotential. In this study, selective chemical conversion technique was developed to solve the delamination issue. Their effectiveness was proved by applying the same concept to a wide range of PFSA membrane.

        Anion exchange membrane (AEM) with fixed charged cationic groups can selectively transport anionic molecules such as hydroxide anions. The AEM materials have been widely used in the wide range of applications such as polymer electrolyte fuel cells, water electrolysis, and reverse electrodialysis and electrodialysis. Commercially available AEM materials show high electrochemical resistance owing to their chemical architectural features leading to less separated hydrocarbon morphologies. Very low solubility to casting solvents and weak chemical durability to alkaline atmosphere of the AEM materials also makes it difficult to make thin and tough AEM membranes. In this study, AEM materials composed of perfluorinated architectures with improved chemical durability and intrinsically well separated morphologies were developed and evaluated.

        Perfluorinated sulfonic acid (PFSA) ionomers have been commonly used as representative polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) materials for fuel cell electric vehicles owing to their fast proton transport and excellent chemical resistance. However, PFSA materials still have weakness associated with chemical degradation occurring as a result from radical attacks, which induce membrane thickness reduction, leading to hydrogen crossover, and/or reduced electrochemical performances. In this study, cerium derivative radical scavengers were designed as functional additives to enhance the chemical durability of PFSA PEM. Their optimum content was suggested, comprehensively considering their radical resistance as well as other fundamental characteristics associated with long-term durability and electrochemical performance.

        Saline water electrolysis is an electrochemical process to produce valued chemicals by applying electric power. Perfluorinated sulfonic acid (PFSA) ionomers have been used as polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) materials owing to their high sodium ion selectivity and barrier properties. However, sulfonic acid groups in PFSA ionomers are chemically decomposed under a basic catholyte condition, which makes the PEM materials lose their ionic selectivity and Faraday efficiency. In this study, double layered membranes were prepared by anchoring cross-linked hydrocarbon ionomers, as a protection layer to catholyte atmosphere, into the water channels, particularly, located at around the surface of a PFSA membrane. Here, each monomer results in the identical chemical architecture and different free volume content when polymerized.

        Perfluorinated sulfonic acid (PFSA) ionomers have been used as polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) materials owing to their excellent chemical durability and proton conductivity. However, the PFSA ionomers are suffering from fast hydrogen crossover and, thereby, chemical degradation in the membrane state. To solve these issues is to make reinforced membranes by filling proton-conductive PFSA ionomers in the pores of chemically robust poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE) support films. However, it is very difficult to obtain PFSA-PTFE reinforced membranes with improved hydrogen barrier property. In this study, PFSA-PTFE reinforced membranes were fabricated by immersing commercial reinforced membrane in PFSA ionomer dispersions with different chemical architectures and particle sizes and their effects were systematically investigated.

        Water electrolysis is a representative electrochemical process to generate hydrogen gas together with oxygen gas by applying electric power. Perfluorinated sulfonic acid (PFSA) ionomers have been widely used as electrode binder materials, in addition to polymer electrolyte membrane materials for water electrolysis to generate hydrogen and oxygen gases with a high purity simultaneously. PFSA binder materials act as physical supports for inorganic catalyst materials in both electrodes. The binder materials play role in transporting protons for hydrogen gas and oxygen gas evolution reaction in the cathode and the anode, respectively. In this study, PFSA ionomers with different chemical architectures and equivalent weights were used as binder materials for water electrolysis. The structure property performance relationship was disclosed.

        PEMFC is an eco-friendly and sustainable electrochemical generation system to convert chemical energy of fuels into electric energy. Proton exchange membrane(PEM) is key material to decide PEMFC performances. Representative PEM materials is perfluorinated sulfonic acid(PFSA) composed of a chemically stable PTFE backbone and ion conductive side chains. PFSA is classified into long-side chain(LCC-PFSA) and short-side chain(SCC-PFSA). Normally, SCC-PFSA can induce high packing density and gas barrier properties when it is made in PEM state. In spite of these advantages, it is hard to make desirable SCC-PFSA PEMs due to its relatively high Tg and low EW. In this study, the effects of PEM fabrication histories on basic properties of SCC-PFSA ionomers were observed by varying parameters such as casting solvent and thermal annealing condition.

        Saline water electrolysis (SWE) is an electrochemical technology to directly generate valued chemicals such as chlorine gas (Cl2), hydrogen (H2), and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) by applying electric energy. The key materials in SWE are cation exchange membranes with high selectivity to sodium ions under chemically harsh SWE conditions. The representative SWE membranes are perfluorinated double layered membranes composed of perfluorinated sulfonic acid layer and carboxylic acid layer to transport sodium ions rapidly and to prevent the passage of hydroxide ions, respectively. The commercially available membranes are, however, suffering from delamination issues occurring in their interface. In this presentation, delamination-free membrane fabrication processes will be addressed.

        2017년 승선실습 중이던 위탁실습생이 사망하는 사고가 있었다. 이 실습생은 1일 12시간씩 작업을 했다고 한다. 실습생에 대한 업무시간과 휴식시간을 규정하는 법령은 아직까지 없다. 이 연구는 상선에서 승선실습을 하는 위탁실습생의 업무실태 파악과 위탁실습생의 처우 개선을 위해 설문조사와 통계분석을 수행했다. 설문은 상선에서 위탁실습을 다녀온 학생을 대상으로 진행했다. 설문결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 선종에 관계없이 1일 평균 10시간씩 업무했다는 의견이 43.0%를 차지했고, 휴식시간은 평균 8시간이었다는 의견이 35.2%를 차지했다. 응답자의 15.6%가 12시간 이상 업무한 경험이 있다고 했다. 라면 끓이기, 휴식 중에 작업, 사적인 심부름 등 부당한 지시 사례가 있었다. 둘째, 선종별 교육만족도에 대해 LNG운반선에서 실습한 학생들의 만족도가 높았던 반면, 산적화물선과 컨테이너운반선의 교육만족도는 낮았다. 선박의 크기와 선령, 업무시간, 휴식시간, 실습지원비가 교육만족도에 미치는 영향은 미약함을 확인했다. 끝으로, 위탁실습생의 근로자성 판단에 대해 56.8%가 ‘근로에 해당된다’고 응답했다. 설문결과를 통해 위탁실습의 열악성과 위탁실습생이 근로와 휴식에 대한 법령의 사각지대에 있음을 확인했다. 이를 위해 업무시간과 휴식시간의 법령 마련, 폭력 및 성희롱에 피해방지시스템 구축 등을 개선방안으로 제시했다. 이 연구는 위탁실습생의 업무와 휴식에 논문의 초점을 맞춰 선박의 종류와 크기, 선령별로 실습만족도를 분석했다는 것에 의의가 있다.
