        Marine casualties originated from fishing vessels occupied about 71.2% of the whole marine casualties in Korea from 2008 to 2014, which has not changed much for a long time. Therefore, a pragmatic counterplan to decrease in casualties in fishing vessel is indispensable for reduction of marine casualties in Korea. Since the casualties occurred by fishing vessels may incline to a specific type of casualties according to the difference in the operating type; in this paper, 11 fishing types which occurred casualties frequently in numbers and occupied ratio were selected. Since the most frequent occurring casualties in fishing vessels were from collisions and fire explosion in statistics from KMST (2008~2014), the study focused on them. The collision is given a great deal of weight in all the casualties mostly due to the negligence of duty regardless of the job types. Gill netter, trap fishing boat, jig boat, multiple fishing boat and stow netter have their own specific causes of casualties in collision according to the operating types. The cause of fire explosion was mainly due to poor inspection and maintenance the electric cord. For this reason, it may be necessary for an operator to make strict precaution on the other vessels under way systematically, keep the regulation for preventing collisions, and for an engineer on watch to make a check the electricity periodically to reduce the fire explosion.

        Acoustic surveys using a scientific echosounder and trawl surveys were concurrently carried out in between Geoje and Tongyeong of the South Sea by season. The anchovy schools were identified by trawling in each station and used for frequency response analysis. Frequency responses of anchovy schools by season and species composition ratio were examined using multi-frequencies (18, 38, 70, 120 and 200 kHz). The frequency response r(f), is one of the acoustic characteristics which means the volume back-scattering strength ratio between a reference frequency and other frequencies. In spring, the r(f) of anchovy schools decreased with increased frequency, with the exception of 120kHz. While, in winter, the r(f) continuously decreased inversely proportional to the increase in frequency. Frequency response of anchovy schools presented a distinctive difference between spring and winter, however it did not different in spife of different species composition ratios in schools.

        The hydro–acoustic technology has been widely used in not only South Korea but also many foreign countries for various scientific purposes. Unfortunately acoustic data especially collected from field surveys may contain noises caused by a variety of sources. Therefore, it is exceedingly important to eliminate noises when acoustic data are analyzed to derive quantitative results. This study introduced two methods for eliminating noises easily and effectively using post–processing software. Used acoustic data were collected on the Jinhae bay and Tongyeong coast of the South Sea in April 2015. The first method, that is the Wang’s method, placed emphasis on ‘erosion filter’ to eliminate only data samples contaminated by noises. The second method (Yamandu’s method) focused on the ‘resample by number of pings’ to remove pings contained noises. To substantiate the effectiveness of two methods, the mean Sv (Volume backscattering strength), mean height and depth of the fish schools detected were compared between before and after using the noise elimination methods. In the Wang’s method the mean Sv was decreased from –52.4 dB to –52.9 dB, and in the Yamandu’s method from –52.6 dB to –53.3 dB, indicating that noises were successfully eliminated. The mean height (1.5 m) and depth (19.0 m) were same between before and after using two methods showing that the shapes of fish schools were not changed.

        This study is intended to provide navigator with specific information necessary to assist the avoidance of collision and the operation of ships to evaluate the maneuverability of dead weight tonnage 8,000 tons Oil/Chemical tanker. The actual maneuvering characteristics of ship can be adequately judged from the results of typical ship trials. Author carried out sea trials based full scale for turning test, Z” maneuvering test, man overboard rescue maneuver test, inertia stopping test. Consequently, 2st Overshoot yaw angle of the semi balanced rudder and flap rudder in ±20° zig–zag test showed 22.2° and 18.0°, respectively. The maneuverability of the vessel was good in the flap rudder. The man overboard rescue maneuver maneuverability test was most favorable in the flap rudder and the full load condition. The results from tests could be compared directly with the standards of maneuverability of IMO and consequently the maneuvering qualities of the ship is full satisfied with its.

        Marine casualties originated from fishing vessel occupied about 70% of the whole marine casualties in Korea from 2001 to 2010, this ratio was not much changed as it was before. Therefore a pragmatic counterplan to decrease of casualties in fishing vessel is indispensable for reduction of the nationwide marine casualties. But since the casualties occurred by fishing vessel may have a different causes and counterplan according to the operating type of it, in this paper, fishing vessels classified into 12 types by operating method and inspected the causes and counterplan for that. The operating type of fishing vessel occurred the specific casualties more were jig boat in collisions and fire explosion, trap fishing boat, mixed fishing boats and inshore gill netter in collisions, stow netter in machinery damages and capsizing, offshore gill netter in machinery damages, fish carrier in collisions. It must be emphasized that the higher ranked types of vessels, especially jig boat have to take special care to the approaching vessels under way, trap fishing boat to rear look out and mixed fishing boat must keep on safety speed and be taken an education for advance the skill of operating radar as well. For all 12 types of fishing vessel, it is necessary for an operator to make strict precaution on the other vessel under way systematically and keep the regulation for preventing collisions, and for an engineer on watch to make a check the electricity and the engines periodically for reduction the fire explosion and machinery damages.

        The purpose of this paper is to examine the roll damping characteristics by bilge keels on the fishing vessel. Unlike other degree of freedom motions, roll motion is highly nonlinear. However the quantitative evaluation of roll damping combined with waves is very important for the fishing vessel. To reduce roll motion, roll motion stabilizers such as a bilge keel is used due to easy made and cheap cost rather than anti-rolling tank and fin-stabilizer. Authors paid attention to the shape of bilge keel and waves to grasp the roll damping for the fishing vessel and studied about the difference of tendencies of roll angle following the shapes of bilge keel. The model ship was the offshore large purse seiner and four types of bilge keel were used. The data from the experiments were provided and analyzed to investigate the rolling characteristics of the model ship being affected by the wave height, wave period and bilge keel shape. The results of the study showed that three types of the bilge keel have little effective, but only one has an effect on the roll damping. So bilge keel shape and its attachment method need to be a future study for the practical use in fishing vessel.

        The experiment was performed for establishing the best condition of experiment and defining the issue of GC/FID methods based on HS-SPME-capillary column when TMA is measured in the air. Also the experiments are performed based on odor process test method alternately. At first, The result that KOH and NaOH were compared for eluting the TMA among the preprocessing processes, showed that NaOH is 2.2 times higher figure of area, 0.9972 of curve linearity(R2), and 1.96% of relative standard deviation. As a result using the ultrasonic cleaner and 30℃ constant temperature water bath, constant temperature water bath showed stabilized curve linearity (R2 0.9972) and relative standard deviation (RSD 2%). In advance of experiment conditions, the result performed acid filter paper method and acidic solution absorption among TMA sampling methods, is that acidic solution absorption detected 5 times better sensitivity than Acid filter paper method. Acidic solution absorption showed to provide excellent analysis sensitivity in this experiment restrictively. Therefore, in case of experiment by GC/FID method based on HS-SPME-capillary column, selection of sampling method expects that acidic solution absorption better effect and in case of disassemble reagent, NaOH and 30℃ constant temperature water bath is better effect in the experiment conditions.

        Fishing vessels have been causing more than 70% of marine casualty in Korea. As a view of the occurring number of marine casualty, it is obvious for fishing vessel to account for the absolute high portion of that in comparison with the non-fishing vessels. That is a natural outcome because fishing vessels have occupied more than 90% of all registered Korean vessels. If we consider it not occurring number, but occurring ratio, we could find out that fishing vessels accounted for 5 times lower than non-fishing vessels in marine casualties. Nevertheless, fishing vessels have not immunity from responsibility for marine casualties at all, because the tendency of it in fishing vessel has been dominating the whole marine casualties in Korea. So for reduction of them, it is indispensable to decrease the casualties of fishing vessel. In this study, the authors tried to carry out many items of them to compare the occurring number with the occurring ratio, and dealt with the casualties of collision and machine damage in detail, because those have not only been occurring most frequently in casualties in Korea, but also led to the death and injury of lives. To reduce the collision and the machine damage, the operator have to keep the watch more strictly and check and keep the machine in good order. And it is necessary for the operator to take more education and training intended to decrease those systematically and continuously, especially for the crews of fishing vessels.

        In head sea, a ship has mainly the longitudinal motion such as vertical acceleration and pitch. In that case, the motion characteristics of a ship will have changed as the location different from each of place vertically and horizontally on board. The author carried out an experiment about the ship's vertical acceleration and pitch according to the location for the head sea, and analyzed the data with the aid of the statistical and spectral analyzing method to get the motion characteristics of the vessels. The response of vertical acceleration and pitch not deeply depend on the decks vertically, but displayed the relative big different value horizontally even if same deck. The biggest response of vertical acceleration and pitch among the accommodations was shown at scientist room, but the value of it not reached to the minimum requirement of ISO 2631-1 for working on board.

        제한수역에서는 Bank cushion과 Squat의 작용으로 인하여 선체의 운동특성이 변한다. 실선을 통한 제한수역에서의 조종성능의 측정은 선박의 안전 때문에 어려운 실정이다. 본 연구에서 제한수역에서의 측벽효과와 Squat에 관한 정보를 얻기 위해 수치모델을 이용하여 선박의 운동을 모사하였다. 선박과 안벽의 거리가 좁을수록 선수방위는 많이 변하였다. 선수방위의 최대 변화치는 선폭에 대한 이안거리의 비(D/B)=0.2에서 22.37˚를 나타내었다. Squat는 속력이 빠를수록 흘수가 작을수록 커졌다. Squat의 최대치는 흘수에 대한 수심(H/d)=1.25, 속력 8knot일 때 0.29m였다. 선박의 안전운항을 위하여 제한수역에서는 감속이 가장 중요한 요소인 것으로 나타났다.

        해양사고를 감소시키기 위한 노력에도 불구하고, 해양사고는 증가하는 추세이다. 해양사고는 선박, 인적 그리고 자연조건의 3개 조건으로 분류할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 1997년부터 2006년 사이의 해양사고의 자료를 이용하여 해양사고를 조건 별로 분석하였고, SPSS의 분산분석기법을 사용하여 그 차이의 통계적 의미를 분석해 보았다. 항목별로 일원배치 분산분석의 결과 시간대에서는 20~04 시간대와 그 외 시간대와는 집단간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 속력에서는 5~10 노트 대에서, 초인거리는 1 마일 이하에서 유의한 차이를 보여 해양사고의 예방을 위해 위에 열거한 시간대, 속력 그리고 초인거리에 유의하여야 할 것으로 판단되었다.

        불규칙 해면에 있어서 선미식 트롤선의 추파중의 선체 응답의 특성을 얻기 위하여 3척의 실선운동을 해상에서 계측하고, 이것을 통계적 방법과 이론적인 방법을 이용하여 분석하였으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 각 선박의 종동요의 응답의 에너지분포는 추파와 추사파에서 모두 대체로 낮으며, 특히 선박의 크기가 클수록 매우 낮았다 응답스펙트럼의 대역폭은 모두 넓은 편이며, 응답 peak의 주기는 분명하지 않으며, 한 개 이상 나타나는 때도 있다. 2. 각 선박의 횡동요 응답의 에너지 분포는 추파와 추사파에서 모두 크며, 특히 소형선에서는 매우 크다. 응답스펙트럼의 대역폭은 종동요의 응답에 비해 비교적 좁은 편이며, 응답의 peak 주기는 분명하고 한개만 나타난다. 3. 실선실험과 이론계산에 의한 세 선박의 추파와 추사파 중의 종동요와 횡동요응답의 크기와 peak주기는 대체로 양자가 잘 일치하고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서 이론추정치로부터 어선의 응답특성을 평가하는데 큰 문제는 없는 것으로 생각된다. 4. 소형선의 경우 종동요 응답만 고려하면 선미쪽으로 파를 받는 것이 유리하나, 횡동요의 경우에는 오히려 불리하게 되므로 선미쪽으로 파를 받는 경우에는 유의파고와 평균파주기에 따른 자선의 복원성을 고려하는 등 안전에 보다 세심한 주의가 필요하다. 이상과 같이 추파와 추사파 중 선박 크기에 따른 종동요와 횡동요의 응답 특성을 고찰해 보았으나, 이 결과는 제한된 해상의 조건에서 얻어진 것이므로 어선의 일반적인 응답 특성을 도출해내기 위해서는 보다 다양한 해상 조건과 선박을 이용하여 더 많은 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다. 경우 서간에 48.1 beat/min, 야간에 46.6 beat/min로 나타났다. 3. 자극별 평균생체전위는 ① 자극상태에서, 10 luχ인 경우 서간에 1.22 μ V, 야간에 0.71μ V였고, 100 luχ인 경우 서간에 0.63 μ V, 야간에 0.90 μ V였으며, 400 luχ 인 경우 서간에 1.39 μ V, 야간에 1.63 μ V로 나타났고, ② 회복상태에서, 10 luχ인 경우 서간에 1.26 μ V, 야간에 1.59 μ V였고, 100 luχ인 경우 서간에 2.63 μ V 야간에 3.65 μ V였으며, 400 luχ인 경우 서간에 2.52 μ V, 야간에 3.67 μ V로 나타났다.히, 흉선, F냥, 비장 등의 림프구에 초기 세포용해성 감염을 일으키는데, B 림프구가 주로 감염된다. 세포용해성 감염음 방어하기 위해 몰려든 T 림프구가 활성화

        To understand seawater exchange are important to analyze the formation of watermass, material circulation and transfer of pollutant material etc. The purpose of this study is to review the previous studies and to propose new exchange ratio. where,C1 ; average salinity of the water at low waterC2 ; average salinity of the water at the next low waterC0 ; average salinity of the water passing the bay mouth on the flood tideV2 ; total water volume of the bay on the low waterV0 ; the volume of the remaining outer bay water entering during the flood tideSeawater exchange ratio of Dongho Bay calculated by new method are 26.1%, 23.8% respectevely.The average fresh water residence ratio calculated by equation (12) is 2.2 days, that is corresponding 23.5 % of exchange ratio. Thus, it appears similar result as proposed exchange ratio.

        Stokes drift(SD) and Lagrangian discharge(LD) are important factors for analysis of flushing time, tidal exchange, solute transport and pollutant dispersion. The factors should be calculated using the approached method to flow phenomena. The aim of this paper re-examines the previous procedures for computing the SD and LD, and is to propose the new method approached to stratified flow field in the cross-section of coastal region, e.g. Masan Bay. The intensity of velocity near the bottom boundary layer(BBL) depends on the sea-bed irregularity in the coastal estuaries. So we calculated the depth mean velocity(DMV) considering that of BBL omitted in Kjerfve's calculation method. It revealed that BBL effect resulting in application of the bay acts largely on DMV in half more among 1l stations. The new expression of SD and LD per unit width in the cross-section using the developed DMV and proposed decomposition procedure of current were derived as follow : Q=u0+½H1U1cos(Φh-Φu)+U3cos(Φh-Φud) LD ED SD(Qskim+Qsk2) The third term, Qsk2, on the right-hand of the equation is showed newly and arise from vertical oscillatory shear. According to the results applied in 3 cross-sections including 11 stations of the bay, the volume difference between proposed and previous SD was founded to be almost 2 times more at some stations. But their mean transport volumes over all stations are 18% less than the previous SD. Among two terms of SD, the flux of second term, Qskim, is larger than third term, Qsk2, in the main channel of cross-section, so that Qskim has a strong dependence on the tidal pumping, whereas third term is larger than second in the marginal channel. It means that Qsk2 has trapping or shear effect more than tidal pumping phenomena. Maximum range of the fluctuation in LD is 40% as compared with the previous equations, but mean range of it is showed 11% at all stations, namely, small change. It mean that two components of SD interact as compensating flow. Therefore, the computation of SD and LD depend on decomposition procedure of velocity component in obtaining the volume transport of temporal and spacial flow through channels. The calculation of SD and LD proposed here can separate the shear effect from the previous SD component, so can be applied to non-uniform flow condition of cross-section, namely, baroclinic flow field.

        통발 구멍의 직경을 4단계로 만들어 1988년 10월중에 남부해역에서 부산수산대학 실습선 402호와 403호로 조업을 하여 어획한 붕장어 Astroconger Myriaster의 전장을 측정하여 붕장어에 대한 장(1987)의 어체제원간 관계식의 타당성과 플라스틱 통발 구멍의 적정직경을 알아본 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 어체제원간의 관계식 D=0.07L-0.59은, 통발구멍의 직경 D값에 대한 전장 L 값 이상으로의 어획율이 P1, P2, P3와 P4 각각 97.4, 94.9, 100.0, 96.0%로 매우 타당성이 있다. 2. 붕장어 플라스틱 통발 구멍의 적정직경은 적어도 1.5cm 이상은 되어야 한다.

        The authors analyzed the daily catch data which were obtained from two different regions at the Southern Sea in Korea, Neungpo, Geoje island and Yangwhagum, Namhae island, during three or four years in 1978, 1981-1985, in order to know the fishing characteristics of the set net fisheries. The favorable fishing season was summer in the southern sea. The total catches during one year were greatly affected by those several day when the dominant species of fish were caught in large quantities. The dominant species of fish at Neungpo were little horse mackerel, sand lance, sardine, hair tail, spanish mackerel and common mackerel, and those at Yangwhagun were anchovy, little horse mackerel, sardine, spanish mackerel and gizzard shad, in order of catch. Especially, the little horse mackerel and the sardine appeared to make up very big schools at both Neungpo and Yangwhagum. The occurrence seasons of the dominant species were different by the region, but generally those were earlier at western part than at eastern part of the Southern Sea in Korea.

        정치망 어장의 어도 연구와 관련된 정치망 어장부근의 해저지형과 조류의 관측을 행하였다. 거제도 동부의 2 해역, 도장포와 능포어장과 남해도 동부의 2 해역, 양화금과 마안도 부근에서 수심관측과 25시간 정점 조류 관측 및 레이더 코오너리플렉터에 의한 표층의 표류실험을 병행하였다. 해저지형의 관측결과 거제도 동부 해역에서는 만의 남쪽에 경사가 심한 골이 형성되어 있고, 그 부근에 어구가 부설되어 있었다. 조류의 관측결과 거제도 동부해역에서는 좌선회의 경향을 보였고 남해도 양화금에서는 우선회의 경향이 뚜렷하였으며 마안도 부근에서는 일정하지 않았다. 항류성분과 조류의 회전 및 지형 등이 조화되어 외해에서 만에 접근한 어군이 해저 골 부근으로 접근하면서 점차 농밀군을 이루게 되어 정치망 어구에 접근하는 것으로 생각된다.

        This paper presents basic study and data about anti-stripping functional filler of asphalt concrete utilizing by-product from limestone mine and other relevant industries. Especially ash from fluidized bed heat exchanger is considered as main material for the development of premixed asphalt filler which has good anti-stripping function. Ash from fluidized bed heat exchanger is able to contain calcium hydroxide and anhydrite by hydrating F-CaO, and this could be eco-friendly and anti-stripping functional asphalt filler utilizing by-product from mine and other industry through proper production process and mix with other powders of mine waste rock. Additionally this may have considerable price competitiveness compared to using existing liquid and powder anti-stripping agent.

        This study is a case of construction after bridge demolition due to the aging of bridges operating the railway. Due to the influence of the pier vibration on the railway, the influence of the railway line, the construction period, etc., the P.B.S technique was applied to the coping pile foundation. It was completed in 5 days per 1 bridge pier by the PBS method. Since it is constructed in the dry season (from October to April) without vibration and noise, it can be installed safely on the rail rail of the pier of the bridge .
