Background: Flexible flatfoot impairs gait and posture by weakening arch support, potentially leading to musculoskeletal dysfunction. Strengthening exercises, such as the short foot exercise (SFE), have shown promise in correcting this condition. Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the effects of SFE with visual feedback on medial arch height and foot function in adults with flexible flatfoot. Design: Experimental research. Methods: Adults diagnosed with flexible flatfoot were randomly assigned to either an experimental or control group. The experimental group performed SFE with visual feedback, whereas the control group performed the same exercises without feedback. Both groups trained three times per week for five weeks. Outcome measures included the Navicular Drop Test (NDT), YBalance Test (YBT), and Tetrax postural analysis. Results: In the NDT, both groups showed significant improvements (P<.05), while in the YBT, only the experimental group showed a significant improvement (P<.05). In contrast, there were no significant changes in the Weight Distribution Index (WDI) and Stability Test (ST) areas of the Tetrax system in either group (P>.05). Conclusion: SFE effectively improved arch height regardless of visual feedback, though only the visual feedback group showed significant improvements in dynamic balance. However, between-group differences were not statistically significant, suggesting that visual feedback provides subtle rather than substantial additional benefits. Further research with larger samples is needed to establish the clinical value of adding visual feedback to SFE protocols.
Background: The Functional Movement Screen (FMS) is widely used for movement assessment but suffers from subjective scoring that leads to inconsistent evaluations. While previous studies have focused on reliability, the validity of AI-supported assessment remains unexplored. Objectives: To evaluate the reliability and validity of an AI-based motion analysis system using MediaPipe for three FMS movements. Design: Prospective reliability and validity study with repeated measures. Methods: Thirty healthy adults (age 23.4±2.8 years) performed three FMS tests (Deep Squat, Hurdle Step, Inline Lunge) recorded on video. Three evaluators (two experienced physical therapists and one novice) assessed recordings in three phases: Phase 1 involved traditional assessment by experts only to establish criterion reference, Phase 2 had all evaluators using AI support, and Phase 3 consisted of repeated AI-supported assessment. The AI system provided real-time visual feedback of joint angles and alignment through MediaPipe skeletal tracking. Results: Criterion validity showed strong agreement between traditional expert assessment and AI-supported assessment (r=0.94, P<.05). Inter-rater reliability improved from good (ICC=0.89) to excellent (ICC=0.91) with AI support. The novice evaluator achieved immediate expert-level performance with only 0.05 points difference from experts. Intra-rater reliability was excellent for all evaluators (ICC=0.84-0.89). Conclusion: The AI-based system demonstrated strong validity and improved reliability for fundamental movement assessment. While AI support enabled novice evaluators to achieve expert-level performance immediately, it may increase sensitivity to subtle movement variations. This technology shows promise for standardizing movement screening, though current limitations restrict its application to standing movements.
우리나라에 축산물을 수출한 국가들이 2022년과 2023년 에 제출한 2019-2022년 국가별 잔류물질검사프로그램(NRP) 자료를 바탕으로 축산물 유형별, 국가별로 잔류허용기준 을 위반한 동물용의약품과 환경오염물질의 현황을 분석하 였다. 가장 많이 위반된 잔류물질은 네오마이신 2 4 1건, 페 니실린G 183건, 겐타마이신 151건, 세프티오퍼 113건, 니카 바진 103건 등이였고 축산물별로는 소고기, 돼지고기, 가 금육, 우유, 계란 등의 순서로 나타났다. 잔류 위반이 가 장 많았던 소고기에서는 페니실린G, 세프티오퍼, 플루니신 , 네오마이신, 벤질페니실린, 멜록시캄, 플로르페니콜, 질 파테롤 등 전염병 치료에 사용되는 항생제와 해열제 및 성장 촉진에 사용되는 동물용의약품이 주로 검출되었지만 , 돼지고기에서는 성장촉진을 목적으로 사용되는 락토파민 과 항생제인 독시사이클린, 클로람페니콜, 벤질페니실린, 난드롤론, 티오라실, 스트렙토마이신 및 임신 촉진에 사용 되는 호르몬이 가장 흔하게 검출된 것으로 나타났다. 가 금육에서는 콕시듐증 치료에 사용되는 항생제인 니카바진 이 가장 많이 위반되었으며, 스트렙토마이신, 아미노글리 코사이드 항생제, 벤질페니실린, 독시사이클린 및 기타 항 생제가 그 뒤를 이었다. 동물용의약품의 잔류 위반은 많 은 국가에서 보고되고 있으나, 다이옥신과 PCB와 같은 환 경오염 물질의 잔류는 주로 유럽 국가에서 보고되었다. 국 가별 잔류물질의 차이는 각국에서 사육되는 가축과 사육 관리 방식의 차이에 의한 것으로, 소고기의 잔류 수준이 높은 것은 소는 다른 동물에 비해 질병 발생 시 개체별로 치료되기 때문일 것으로 추정된다. 본 연구 결과는 수입 축산물의 안전성 확보를 위하여 국가별, 축산물별로 중점 적으로 검사가 필요한 물질을 제시함으로써 매년 실시하 는 수입 축산물 잔류물질검사를 보다 과학적이고 효율적 으로 수행할 수 있는 기반을 제공하였다.
Efficient yet realistic ship routing is critical for reducing fuel consumption and greenhouse-gas emissions. However, conventional weather-routing algorithms often produce mathematically optimal routes that conflict with the paths mariners use. This study presents a hybrid approach that constrains physics-based weather routing within an AISderived maritime traffic network (MTN) built from one year of global Automatic Identification System data. The MTN represents common sea lanes as a graph of approximately 10,956 waypoints (nodes) and 17,561 directed edges. Using this network, an optimal low-emission route is computed via graph search and then compared against both a traditional unconstrained route and an advanced weather-routing model (VISIR-2). In a May transitionseason case (Busan–Singapore voyage), the AIS-constrained route reduced fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions by about 1.9% relative to the fastest feasible route, while closely following real traffic corridors (over 90% overlap with actual 2024 AIS tracks). While this 1.9% saving does not reach the high-end potential of an unconstrained, state-of-the-art model like VISIR-2 (which can demonstrate double-digit savings in certain conditions), it is achieved with an increase in transit time of ~6.5 h (≈3.2%). This represents a crucial trade-off, prioritizing operational realism and adherence to real-world traffic corridors over maximum theoretical efficiency.
The primary objective of the study is to analyze and evaluate the situation and trends of inland waterway traffic accidents in Vietnam from 2017 to 2024. The study employs reliable secondary data sources, which are analyzed using statistical methods and heatmap applications to examine and assess trends in inland waterway traffic accidents in Vietnam. The results indicate a steady increase in both the number and scale of inland waterway accidents nationwide over the years. Additionally, the accident-prone areas in key inland waterways will be identified. Based on these findings, the research team has proposed recommendations and solutions aimed at improving traffic safety on Vietnam's inland waterways.
This study evaluated the effects of solid and water-soluble extracts derived from torrefied Pinus densiflora on lettuce (Lactuca sativa) germination and growth, as well as the cultivation efficiency of torrefied materials combined with plant nutrient solutions. Torrefied samples were prepared under various conditions (200°C, 220°C, 240°C for 20–80 minutes) and mixed with sand at ratios from 20% to 100%. Liquid extracts were formulated with macronutrients (N, P, K, Mg) and micronutrients (Mn, B, Fe, Cu) and applied to leafy and root vegetables. Germination tests showed that 60% and 80% torrefied treatments had the highest and most consistent rates, with torrefied samples promoting more rapid and stable germination than controls. A two-way ANOVA indicated a significant interaction between treatment and concentration (p = 0.043), suggesting concentration-specific effects. While shoot length showed no significant difference, root growth was marginally significant (p = 0.064), with washed torrefied material producing the longest roots. Physical analysis revealed that torrefied materials improved soil thermal retention and moisture-holding capacity. However, increasing torrefied content reduced porosity, likely due to fine particles filling soil pores. In conclusion, torrefied P. densiflora materials exhibit strong potential to enhance germination, root development, and soil condition. Optimal results were achieved with 40–60% solid mixtures for germination and 60–80% diluted extracts for rapid and consistent seedling growth. When optimally applied, they may serve as effective, sustainable amendments in cultivation systems.
본 연구는 베트남 대학생들의 한국 문화에 대한 인식 조사를 바탕으로 한국어 및 한국 문화 교육의 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 한류의 영향을 받은 한국 문화에 대한 인식을 살펴보기 위해, 중·고등학교 시절 한류를 처음 접한 다낭 외국어대학 한국어문화학부 학생 140명을 대상으로 설 문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 결과, 베트남 대학에서 한국어문화를 전공하는 학생들은 한류의 영향을 받아 한국에 관한 관심이 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 베트남 청년들이 한국어를 전 공으로 선택한 후에도 한국에 관한 관심과 애정은 지속되는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 한류의 영 향으로 베트남 학생들은 주로 K-pop 밴드와 아이돌을 통해 한국 문화를 인식하는 것으로 나타났 으며, 이는 한국의 하위문화 관련 인식이 대중음악과 드라마에 치우쳐 있음을 시사한다. 베트남 대학생들의 한류에 대한 인식은 내재적 동기에서 외재적 동기로 전환되는 과정에서 내재화와 통 합의 특징을 보였다. 이러한 탐색을 통해 우리는 세 가지 제안을 도출했다. 문화적, 경제적 환경 조성을 위한 공존 전략 측면, 한국 하위문화 확산에 대한 대처 전략 측면, 그리고 베트남 내 한국 어 교육 시스템 구축 측면이다.
Background: Logistics service workers (LSWs) face significant occupational challenges, with ankle sprains being the second most prevalent work-related musculoskeletal disorder. Foot posture, assessed through the navicular drop test, can significantly influence dynamic balance performance, which is crucial for injury prevention in physically demanding occupational settings. Objects: This study aimed to investigate differences in dynamic balance performance among LSWs with pronated, supinated, and normal foot types using the Y-Balance test (YBT), comparing reach distances across anterior, posteromedial, and posterolateral directions. Methods: A total of 205 LSWs were classified into three groups based on navicular drop measurements: supinated (n = 44), normal (n = 94), and pronated (n = 67) foot types. The YBT was performed on the dominant leg, measuring reach distances in three directions. Participants’ demographic characteristics were recorded, and statistical analyses were conducted using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with Bonferroni correction. Results: Significant differences in YBT performance were observed across all three directions (anterior: p = 0.009, posterolateral: p = 0.015, posteromedial: p = 0.014). The supinated and normal foot groups showed significantly greater reach distances compared to the pronated group (p < 0.026 for anterior direction). In the posterolateral direction, the supinated group demonstrated significantly better performance compared to the pronated group (p = 0.014). Similarly, the posteromedial direction revealed significantly higher reach distances for the supinated group compared to the pronated group (p = 0.012). Conclusion: The study reveals that foot type significantly impacts dynamic balance performance among LSWs. Workers with pronated feet demonstrate reduced balance capabilities, while those with supinated feet show the most superior dynamic balance performance.
