본 연구에서는 교양지구과학과목을 수강하는 36명의 예비과학교사를 대상으로 가상현실(VR)의 사용을 한 차시에 걸쳐 시도하였다. 수업을 하기 전과 후에 구성주의 학습환경 조사(CLES)를 실시하였다. CLES의 주된 초점은 수업이 학생중심 수업환경을 얼마나 잘 보조하고 지원하는가다. 학생의 자신의 수업환경에 대한 사전 및 사후검사는 여섯가지 하위 영역으로 나뉜다.: 학생적절성, 비판적 시각, 교실통제의 나눔, 학생 간의 타협, 과학적 불확정성, 태도이다. 아울러 가상현실에 대한 미래교사의 인식에 대한 설문지도 실시하였다. 미래의 과학교사들이 가상현실 자료를 교실에서 사용하는 것에 대하여 어떻게 생각하는가를 본 연구를 통해 알아보고자 했다. 이들 결과를 바탕으로 교사 주도의 수업환경을 학생의 적극적 참여를 유도하는 수업에로의 변화를 도모하는 것과 같은 기존에 연구되지 않은 측면을 제안하여가상현실의 잠재력에 대한 보다 완벽한 이해를 꾀하려 하였다.

소형어선 검사제도와 관련하여 최근에 정부에서는 선박검사대상에 제외되었던 선외기등 총톤수 2톤 미만의 선박(이하 소형어선)에 대하여 선박안전법 적용대상으로 확대하여 어민들의 안정적인 조업활동을 지원하여야 한다는 근거하에 선박안전법 개정(제3조)에 관한 입법이 추진중에 있다. 소형어선의 검사여부 문제에 대해 어선의 안전확보 차원에서 검사를 해야 된다는 측면과 영세민과 노년층으로 현행 검사비 및 검사수수료의 비용 부담 및 어선검사를 받는데 소요되는 많은 시간 등의 문제로 종전과 같이 검사대상에서 제외되어야 한다고 주장하고 있다. 이러한 상반된 의견에 대한 대안으로 영세어민의 생업에 사용하거나 소형어선에 대한 검사는 원칙적으로 선박의 소유 또는 사용자가 자발적으로 수행하여야 하며 행정적인 규제는 이러한 목적 달성을 위한 최소한의 정책수단으로 제한되는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 주요 수산국들 처럼 우리나라도 소형어선 검사를 위한 다양한 프로그램개발이 필요하다. 특히, 소형어선에 대한 검사를 실시하는 경우, 어선검사료 정부 지원, 최소한의 안전확보 검사, 어선건조시 검사, 검사기간을 연장하는 방안을 고려하여 정책을 추진할 필요가 있는 것으로 파악되었다.

Concerning the education imbalance on foreign languages in korea, this study suggests the development of a systematic way to test the German language proficiency. For English, Japanese, and Chinese, the efficiency tests serve as a motivation to study, leaving positive impacts on the education of those foreign languages. However, for less popular foreign languages, the case is quite different. With no systematic evaluation standards, only those who studied abroad benefit from these efficiency tests performed by the universities on their own. Furthermore, invented in their home countries, tests such as the ZD, ZMP for German, and the DELF/DALF for French are only for those with intermediate command of the language, which doesn’t help Korean learners in secondary school who are mostly in the beginners’level. This all leads to the necessity of a systematic proficiency test, approved by universities, for foreign languages. This study suggests a way to develop the proficiency test for German according to the proficiencylevel ranging from beginner to advanced courses taught at universities.

“All noble things are the result of warfare; great nations and classes, of warfare in the visible world, great poetry and philosophy, of invisible warfare, the division of mind within itself" said Yeats. Warfares between thesis and antithesis, whether visible or invisible, lie at the heart of Yeats's poetic world, enabling the poet to create the enormously powerful poetic text. In “Meditations in Time of Civil War”, both visible and invisible warfares are overlapped each other, intensifying the division of the poet's own mind, revealing the bitter agony of the poetic self to criticize and remake itself. This poem dramatizes a story of the poet's self-criticism and self-recreation through the warfare between History, the Irish Civil War, and the poet's dream as a cultural nationalist to re-establish and preserve the Irish identity. In “Ancestral Houses”, the poet dreams to redeem the eighteenth-century Anglo-Irish aristocratic ideals for making the unitary Irish mind, only to realize its impossibility. In “My House" through “My Descendants”, the poet seeks to re-establish the Irish identity in his own sanctuary, Thoor Ballylee, through the poetic task to break “the symbolic rose" into flower, only to fail in it, for he has excluded and suppressed History, the Irish Civil War, from his mind. The poet's dream is broken up. In “The Road at My Door" and “The Stare's Nest by My Window", the poet encounters the Civil War face to face, struggling to transform its violence and bitterness into ‘sweetness' and pursuing his dream once more, but it's far from being realized. In “I see Phantoms of Hatred and of the Heart's Fullness and of the Coming Emptiness", the poet internalizes the violent and bitter Irish historical realities through his vigorous imagination, severely criticizing himself as a solitary Platonist and remaking his poetic self a more solid one. In “The Tower", written next to this poem, we can meet the enormous power of his recreated poetic self.

정신분열병은 망상이나 환각과 같은 양성증상과 감정적 둔마와 같은 음성증상이 대표적인 사고장애로서 외부입력 정보를 통합하거나 체계적으로 처리하는 능력이 매우 부족하다. 즉, 정신분열병 환자는 시각, 청각, 촉각 등의 자극을 종합하고 통합하여 인지하지 못한다. 본 연구에서는 뇌 인지 통합 모델(Brain Multimodal Integration Model)에 기반하여 정신분열병 환자의 인지 능력을 측정하기 위한 가상현실시스템을 제안한다. 정신분열병 환자의 지각, 인지, 운동능력을 측정하기 위한 가상현실시스템은 환자에게 시각과 청각의 멀티모달 자극을 제시하여, 환자로 하여금 일정시간 동안 자극을 기억하고 처리하여 주어진 과제를 수행하도록 하였다. 수행 결과를 통해 환자의 멀티모달 자극 통합능력 및 작업기억 통합능력, 네비게이션 능력을 평가한다. 임상연구를 통해 개발된 가상현실시스템을 WCST과 같은 기존 검사방법들과 비교하여 검증하였는데, 가상현실로 측정한 파라미터와 WCST의 파라미터 및 SPM 점수 사이에 매우 유의미한 상관관계를 보여 가상현실시스템의 유용성을 확인할 수 있었다.

가상환경시스템은 매우 현실감 있는 정보를 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 산업, 의료, 교육훈련 등에 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 아직 많은 가상환경 시스템에서 부정적 요인으로 멀미, 시각피로, 방향감각 상실로 대표되는 cybersickness중세를 수반하고 있어 그 사용과 확산에 제약이 되고 있다. 이러한 cybersickness문제에 대응하기 위해서는 우선 이것을 객관적으로 측정, 평가할 수 있는 방법의 개발이 필요하다. 이러한 방법들 중의 하나로 신체동요의 정도를 평가 지표로 사용할 수 있다. 이번 연구에서는 45 명의 피실험자들을 대상으로 가상현실 운전시뮬레이터를 운전하기 전과 후의 신체동요 정도를 힘판(force platform)을 이용해 측정하였다. 특히 본 실험에 사용된 가상현실 운전시뮬레이터는 피실험자에게 운동판(motion platform)을 이용해 운동감을 제공할 수 있었고, 피실험자의 멀미 현상이 검지되면, 시야각을 1/3로 줄여주는 멀미 완화 피드백(feedback) 시스템이 연결되어 있었다. 그래서 motion의 제공여부와 feedback의 제공 여부도 실험의 독립변수로 추가하였다. 실험 결과, 가상현실 체험 후 유의한 차이는 아니나 피실험자들의 신체동요가 약간 증가하는 것이 관측되었다. motion과 feedback에 대한 분석에서는, 유일하게 motion을 제공하는 것이 제공 안할 때에 비해 좌우 방향의 신체동요가 더 적어지는 것으로 나타났다. 신체동요를cybersickness의 지표로 사용하기 위해서는 추후연구가 더 요청된다.

English language teaching in elementarγ school was proposed and is now in practice on the basis of the Critical Period Hypothesis which is also theoretically supported by innatists who argue that UG begins attrition around puberty and that language acquisition becomes increasingly difficult beyond this period. This was proved true of first language acquisition and naturalistic SLA, but no evidence has been known about instructed second language leaming in formal education. Elementary school ELT is supported by some parents who wish their children to leam this world language effectively, but the educational environment is far from utilizing the leamers' UG: few teachers are capable of providing authentic input, so the leamers depend on their general intelligence and leaming strategy rather than UG. It is suggested that high school age is optimum for utilizing leamers' motivation, intelligence, and leaming strategy.

지구과학 학습 내용들은 교실이나 실험실에서 통제하기 어려운 내용들이 많다. 따라서 이를 극복할 수 있는 하나의 방안으로 가상현실 기술을 도입하여 웹상에서 활용할 수 있는 3D 가상현실 학습프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 701명의 중학교 학생들에게 투입되었다. 그 결과 몰입감을 통한 흥미유발 및 동기유발에 아주 긍정적인 효과가 있었으며, 공간지각 능력 향상에도 큰 도움이 되는 것으로 보여졌다.

본 연구는 가상현실을 이용하여 교통사고 후 경험하게 되는 불안감 및 공포감과 같은 심리적인 후유장애에 대한 치료 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 예비연구로 수행되었다. 가상현실을 통한 교통사고 후유장애 프로그램의 핵심내용이 되는 운전주행 시나리오의 효과를 검증하고, 이완훈련 등의 불안감소 훈련의 효과를 피험자를 통해 검증해 보았다. 총 8명의 피험자(정상인 7명, 교통사고 환자 1명)를 대상으로 세 가지 주행상황 시나리오를 제시하고, 이후 이완훈련을 실시하였다. 그 결과 이완훈련 후 유의미한 불안감소 효과가 나타났다. 하지만 각각의 주행상황에 따라서 불안이 증가되는 경향성은 나타났으나 통계적으로 유의미한 수준에 이르지는 못하였다. 이를 종합하여 볼 때, 주로 정상인을 대상으로 한 연구임에도 불안유발 경향성이 나타난 점은 고무적이나 교통사고자를 대상으로 한 경험적인 증명이 필요하며, 가상현실을 이용한 이완훈련은 효과적인 것으로 판명되었다.

In the real environment, it is not easy to get the effective training or to simulate several hazard situations for safety because of the direct exposure to the hazards of the actual system. But the virtual environment(VE) can help the users to get the effective training or to simulate all kind of possible situations without the exposure to the harzards of the actual system. Therefore, the number of virtual reality(VR) application for safety will be increased dramatically in the future. This paper proposes a category of VR applications and also the steps to develope the VE for emergency management.
