        This paper deals with developing a Web-based Solver NRO(Network Reliability Optimizer) for solving three classes of reliability redundancy optimization problems which are generated in series systems. parallel systems and complex systems. Inputs of NRO consisted in four parts. that is, user authentication. system selection. input data and confirmation. After processing of inputs through internet, NRO provides conveniently the optimal solutions for the given problems on the Web-site. To alleviate the risks of being trapped in a local optimum, HH(Hybrid-Heuristic) algorithm is incorporated in NRO for solving the given three classes of problems, and moderately combined GA(Genetic Algorithm) with the modified SA(Simulated Annealing) algorithm.

        The fast growth of the area of Industrial Technology has brought about the drastic change in educational environments, especially for foreign language teaching. The most noticeable change is that the information which was usually under the control of instructors can now be directly conveyed to leaners throughout multiple kinds of information channels. With this unstoppable trend, the instructors no‘w strongly motivated to focus on various types of media app1ication. Given these facts, this paper main1y deals with the web-based instruction (WBI) among others, since WBI is a well-known and easily accessible type of instruction. In this study, WBI is approached with two different aspects. One is a functional aspect. The other is a psychological aspect. The WBI enables learners to choose any information on any fields, and it makes learners choose their own learning leve1 according to their needs and 1earning ability. In this paper, the future of WBI is a1so discussed with three different ang1es: software, hardware, and educationa1 diversity.         With the development of computer technologies and the increase of internet users, Internet plays an important role in job-recruitment business. However, almost of the sites which provide job offering and job hunting service, merely have the function such as simple inquiry for information corresponding to job offering and job hunting. In this research, the online website whose task is supporting whole procedure of recruitment for real enterprises is constructed to apply the interview procedures of the real enterprises through internet. We utilize the video conference to increase the reality for interview. Also it has functions such as presentation of application form and resume and self introduction using the video conference. Through the online recruitment website we can expect time and cost saving for recruitment for both sides of enterprise to hunt the person and people to seek the job.

        This paper proposes structural analysis on the World Wide Web to form a part of the architectural design project. It purposes modeling space frames and a structural analysis program on the internet only by inputting basic data for forming a shape in the whole phase of space frame analysis. The analysis data is conducted by Oracle DBMS(DataBase Management System), GUI(Graphic User Internet) by Java Applet and connection with server and database by Java Servlet respectively. The result from modeling and analysis is provided as graphic and text file forms by web browsers. Programs can be executed irrespective of user's OS by using internet and highly-secured system is constructed taking advantage of Java. Of great efficiency is maintaining and recycling data as the whole is dealt by database from the beginning to the end of program.

        광이 입사되는 수광면에 그물망(web)모양의 얕은 P+ -diffusion 영역을 갖는 새로운 구조의 적색광 검출 Si pin photodiode를 제작하고 그 특성을 분석하였다. 제작된 소자의 전기.광학적 특성을 -5V의 동작전압에서 측정한 결과, 접합 커패시턴스와 암전류는 각각 4pF와 235pA로 나타났으며 670nm의 중심파장을 갖는 1.6㎼의 입사광 전력 아래에서 광신호 전류와 감도특성은 각각 0.48μA와 0.30A/W로 나타났다. 제작된 소자는 종래의 circular type photodiode에 비해 개선된 감도 특성을 나타내었으며 670~700nm의 파장영역에서 최대 spectral response를 보였다. 본 연구에서의 web-patterned Si photodiode는 red light optics 응용에서 디지털 신호처리시 우수한 신호분리 능력을 나타낼 것으로 기대된다.

        To keep enterprise's competitiveness on condition of the automatic manufacturing system such as FA, FMS and CIM, all the maintenance problems should be considered seriously in not only production and maintenance but also related industrial safety. As we analyze in the surveys for the maintenance management of domestic enterprises and the causes of Industrial accident, there will be necessity of drawing up countermeasures for prevention of industrial accidents and for ensuring expertise maintenance technologies. Based on these analyses, this study studied the safety information system, maintenance management information system, and the machinery condition diagnosis technique by using of the knowledge-based system under the internet environment. This web based knowledge-based diagnosis system can easily provide not only the knowledge of expert about deterioration phenomenon of industrial robot, but also the knowledge of relating safety and facility on everywhere, everytime. Therefore, when we use this system, it is expected to improve the efficiency of business processes in the production and safety.

        강한 지진 하에서 효율적으로 거동하도록 유도하는 연구중의 하나로서 개구부를 가진 합성보의 이력거동을 조사하고 있다. 직사각형 개구부를 가진 합성보에 대한 연구를 발전시켜 에너지 소산능력이 보다 큰 달걀형 개구부를 가진 합성보에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 실험적 연구와 비선형 FEM 해석 연구 모두가 그러한 합성보의 연성도를 입증하였다. 본 연구는 달걀형 개구부를 가진 합성보의 강도와 초기강성도를 산정하는 약산식을 제시하였고, 그 결과를 실험 및 비선형 FEM 해석의 결과와 비교 분석하였다.
