        본 연구근 신 등(2004)의 후속연구로서, 연근해의 상세 공간 분할의 계산에 적용하여 높은 정밀도의 파랑 추산이 가능한 수정 WAM cycle 4모형을 토대로 2003년 9월 한 달 동안의 파랑을 상세히 추산하고, 태풍 ‘매미’가 야기한 우리나라 남해안 일대의 극한파랑 특성을 분석한 것이다 계산된 파랑 제원은 이어도 해양종합기지에서 관측된 파랑 제원과의 비교를 통하여 모형의 정밀도를 확인하였고, 우리나라 남해안주요 4개 지점의 전면 해상에 대해서는 1시간 간격의 파랑 추산 결과의 분석을 통해 태풍 ‘매미’가 야기한 외해 극한파랑을 다음과 같이 추산하였다. 1) 제주도 서편 차귀도 전면 해상; 2003년 9월 12일 16시에 최대 유의파고 7.41m, 평균 주기 13.6s, 평균 파향 6.4˚, 2) 마산만 입구; 12일 21시에 최대 유의파고 12.50m, 평균 주기 13.65s, 평균 파향 1.2˚, 3) 부산 수영만 전면 해상; 12일 22시에 최대 유의파고 13.85m, 평균 주기 13.81s, 평균 파향 0.2˚, 4) 울산항 전면 해상; 12일 23시에 최대 유의파고 11.00m, 평균 주기 13.25s, 평균 파향 2.8˚.

        The purpose of this study is to present the conditions and methods for keeping the sustainability of the landscape resources of the East Coast of Gangwon province, the Republic of Korea by investigating the landscape resources management in the area and pointing out its problems. The unit of analysis in this study is four cities and two counties located along the national road route seven in Gangwon province. The classification and characteristics of the landscape resources in this area was analyzed by a literature review, and we surveyed the tourists visiting the area and statistically analyzed the data in order to examine their satisfaction with the landscape resources management and make recommendations. The problems of the landscape resources management are: 1) the disturbance of the persistence of life by reclamation, the population reduction in the ecosystem due to the overload in environmental capacity, and the severance of space between land and water. 2) the reduction of the benefits from indirect experience by interfering with the conservation of fluxes --- the manipulation of horizontal arrangement of the landscape resource, the visual disturbance by the construction of high-storied buildings, and the disharmony between the color/image and the environment. The means for keeping sustainability of the landscape resources include the regulations of development and use, the change in the recognition of the value of landscape resources and the moral system, and the improvement of resource management skills.

        A species of facultative photo-organotrophic, purple, non-sulfur bacterium was isolated from the 47 point at west and south coast of Korea in September 2001. Separated 13 samples of changes with red color under 28~32 ℃, 3000 lux, anaerobe conditions for 7 days cultivated in basal medium. For pure isolation from 13 samples, we used agar-shake tube method (0.4 % agar) and separated 5 strains through 13-repetition test. EGH-24 and EGH-30 was identified as the same strain through the RAPD(Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA)-PCR of strain EGH-9, EGH-13, EGH-23, EGH-24, EGH-30. Four isolates cultivated in synthesis wastewater for wastewater biodegradation test. EGH-24 was selected with efficient wastwater treating strain. Based on the results obtained from morphology, nutrient requirements, major bacteriochlorophyll content, 16S-rDNA phylogenetic analysis, EGH-24 strain may be identified as a new strain of the genus Rhodobacter and named Rhodobacter sp. EGH-24.

        Thirty sediment samples of the <63㎛ fraction collected from the southwestern coast of Korea were analysed for their heavy metal (Fe, Mn, Cr, Co, Cu, Ni, Zn and Pb) concentration. The results show that sediment texture plays a controlling role on the total metal concentrations and their spatial distribution. A single 1M HCl extraction procedure was used in order to assess the environmental risk of heavy metals in bottom sediments. The non-residual fraction was the most abundant pool for Mn and Pb in most samples, which means that this metals are highly avaliable in these sediments. Cr, Ni, Fe, Co, Zn and Cu were mainly associated with the residual fraction, suggesting that their concentrations are controlled significantly by transport processes with the fine particles as carriers from diffuse pollution source. Concentration enrichment ratios(CER) were calculated from the non-residual contents and their values allowed us to classify the sediments according to their environmental risk.

        To investigate size distribution and metallic elements of surface sediments in Hampyong Bay, the southwestern coast of Korea, sedimentological and geochemical studies on surface sediments are carried out. The surface sediments of Hampyong Bay are classified into gravel, muddy sandy gravel, gravelly muddy sand, gravelly sandy mud, mud facies in accordance with areal characteristics. The coarse sediments are distributed on the subtidal zone along the main tidal channel and southeast intertidal flat of Hampyong Bay. On the other hand, the fine sediments are dominated in northeast and west intertidal flat of Hampyong Bay. Most metallic elements except for Ba in the sediments are closely interrelated with fine sediments and mutually with each element. Ba is maybe related with sandy sediments and inversely related with carbonate contents. Normalized by Al content, the sediment do not show any remarkable metal enrichments influenced by resonable artificial or environmental factors.

        The Japanese DGPS Data can be received easily in the area of the Korean peninsula and some Korean users may use these data. However, its analysis has not been actually investigated. This paper is a study on accuracy analysis of Japanese Marine Radiobeacon/ DGPS in the South Coast of Korea. The 3 Japanese DGPS stations, Wakamiya(295 kHz), Ose Saki(302 kHz) and Hamada(305 kHz), near the Korean peninsula were analyzed by several ways. It was concluded that the feasible result of the experimental study with an error range of no more 10 m in 2 DRMS.

        1993년 1월부터 12월까지 한국 서해 군산시 오식도 조간대에서 채집한 대맛조개를 대상으로 정자형성과정 및 생식주기를 조직학적 및 투과형전자현미경으로 조사하엿다. 대맛조개(Solen grandis)는 자웅이체이다. 본 종의 완숙정자의 형태 구조는 다른 이매패의 정자들이 갖는 원시형(primitive type)으로 작은 두부와 한 개의 두모첨체를 가지며, 편모축사를 둘러싸고 있는 4개의 미토콘드리아로 이루어진 짧은 중편을 갖는 것이 관찰되었다. 완숙정자

        Radiobeacons that carry corrections for global satellite navigation systems are currently being planned or installed in many countries. In early 1996, it was begun to send DGPS correction message from a marine radiobeacon station located in Changgi Got Lighthouse. It was the first test broadcast of DGPS correction data based on medium frequency of marine radiobeacon where transmission power and rate are 300W and 100bps respectively in Korea. However, there has not been any scientific study on the characteristic of the accuracy of a marine radiobeacon/DGPS. Accordingly, this paper investigates the accuracy of the system, which is currently operating in 310kHz. To do this , the real time differential correction in RTCM data was collected in an implemented system. And then the accuracy was analyzed related to the coverge of the radiobeacon/DGPS. As a result, it is verified that the differential positioning accuracy using the marine radiobeacon is sufficient to ensure the safety of marine activities around the coast of Korea.
