        A key element of environmentally friendly electric vehicles (EVs) based on polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFCs) and lithium ion batteries (LIBs) is an ion-selective membrane, which can transport specific ions such as proton and lithium ions, and provide mechanical and chemical resistances. The state-of-the art membranes for PEFCs and LIBs are perfluorinated sulfonic acid ionomer reinforced membranes and ceramic-coated polyolefin separators, respectively. In spite of the improvement of membranes characteristics, additional membrane modifications are still needed to improve electrochemical cell performances and to extend their lifetime. In this presentation, several plausible approaches to improve membrane characteristics are introduced.

        본 연구는 2012~2013년 국내 전기차 시장에서 크게 논란이 되었던 콤보 전기 자동차 충전 표준과 국내 스마트그리드 표준 간 충돌 사례를 이해관계자 이론을 활용하여 분 석하였다. 사례 연구를 위해 문헌 조사 및 복수의 전문가 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 전기 자동차 는 충전을 위해 전력망과 연결될 때 데이터 교환을 한다. 따라서 통신 표준 문제가 대두된다. BMW는 글로벌 전기 자동차 시장에서 업계를 대표하는 사실상 표준의 지위를 얻어 가고 있 던 콤보 충전 기술을 채택하여 국내 전기차 시장에 진입하였는데, 그 과정에서 국내 스마트 그리드 전력망의 원격검칭용 통신 기술과 상호 주파수 간섭을 일으키는 문제가 발생하였다. 이 문제를 둘러싸고 이해관계자들의 대립이 계속되면서 국내 전기 자동차 충전 기술 관련 표 준(국가표준 및 단체표준)화를 위한 의사결정들이 지연되었고, 이 논란은 2014년 1월 콤보 기술이 한국자동차공학회의 단체표준(KSAE SAE 1772-2040, 2014.1)으로 인정되면서 일단 락되었다. 이 사건은 전기 자동차 표준 그 자체만이 아니라, 융합산업 시대에 있어서 타 산업 표준과의 충돌 및 조정의 필요성을 부각시키는 의미있는 사례이다. 본 연구는 전기 자동차 충전 표준과 스마트그리드 표준이라는 이종 산업 간의 표준 충돌의 복잡한 역학 관계를 이해 관계자 이론을 적용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구는 표준화 과정을 둘러싼 경험적 및 이론적 연 구가 충분하지 않다는 점에서, 이해관계자 이론을 활용한 사례 축적과 방법론 정립에 기여하 고, 또한 표준화 과정에 참가하는 이해관계자들이 이 과정에 영향을 미치기 위한 행위 양식 정립과 전략 수립에 유용한 시사점을 제공한다.

        In this study, the lower power consumption FET-DC contactor for golf cart and low speed electric vehicle has been designed and developed. Also, the author carrying out many measurements and tests such as an electric power consumption, current consumption, calorific value, size, volume and weight of the DC contactor for the various cases. As a result, the author found that a prototype of the lower power consumption FET-DC contactor can not only reduce calorific value, size, volume and weight but also improve an electric power and current consumption.

        The automotive industry is moving from the internal combustion engine to electric drive motors. Electricmotors uses a high voltage system requiring the development of resources and components to shield the system. There-fore, in this study, we analyze electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness (SE) characteristics of an autocrash pad according to the ratio of electrically conductive materials and propylene. In order to combine good mechan-ical characteristics and electromagnetic shielding of the automotive crash pad, metal-coated glass fiber (MGF) manufac-turing methods are introduced and compared with powder-type methods. Through this study, among MGF methods, wesuggest that the chopping method is the most effective shielding method.

        Numerical analysis of the electric vehicle battery was performed for the optimization of the thermal management under various operating conditions. For the analysis of internal flow and temperature distributions under the different operating conditions of battery, the battery system which was packed 18 battery cell with -25℃∼ 65℃ operating temperature range was considered, and the air flow rate, velocity, and ambient temperature conditions were varied and compared. It was revealed that the cooling system for battery was necessary to maintain its performance for hot ambient conditions. Especially, in this condition, at least 90m3/h of air flow rate are required to maintain the module temperature under 40℃. However, heating system of battery for cold ambient conditions doesn't need.

        This analytical work was performed to reveal the effect of inlet geometry of battery pack on the temperature distributions and flow stream line for a electric vehicle. To achieve this, standard k-ε model with wall function was applied and the working conditions of battery pack under different air flow rate and inlet area according to the geometry were estimated. It was revealed that as inlet area was smaller, the flow velocity was faster, and it can't cover the whole area of battery module. In case of two inlet case, the cooling efficiency of air flow is less than that of one inlet case because of low flow rate.

        Technical developments of electric vehicles have been progressed very actively. Especially there are great technical achievements of battery for the electric vehicles to store energy from the outside source. Also there are numerous efforts for improvement charging infrastructure and charging system of the battery. And that is supporting this technology. For example On-Board Charger (OBC) is a battery charging system attached to the vehicle to operate the car. On-Board Charger is designed in manner of consideration such subjects: control via communication with other vehicle’s controller, improve the reliability as the security part, decrease of the life span of the battery due to temperature change during charging and discharging process, high cost of using parts for the high current rating and limitation of increasing the battery capacity. In this paper, there will be a deep discussion of designing and implementing the On-Board Charger to attach to the vehicles, which has superior cooling quality by effective radiant heat design and vibration and shock resistant design

        전기자동차의 상용화시대에 대비한 전기자동차 충전네트워크가 시급해지고 있다. 해외에서는 주차장에 PV시스템을 설치하여 얻어진 전력으로 전기자동차 충전을 할 수 있는 전기자동차 충전소가 설치되어지고 있다. 또한 우리나라에서도 충전인프라 구축방안 및 전기자동차 충전시설 지원기준 등을 설정하여 제시하고 있지만 해외처럼 PV시스템을 이용한 전기자동차 충전소의 사례가 국내에는 없으며, 일반전력을 이용한 전기자동차 충전소만 제시하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내의 전기자동차 충전네트워크 구축에 대비하여 국내 외 태양광 주차장과 해외 PV시스템 전기자동차 충전소의 사례를 조사하여 구조시스템, 구조 재료 등을 분석하여 비교 분석한 결과, 해외 PV시스템 전기자동차 충전소의 경우 캔틸레버 구조와 소규모 타입이 많이 설치되었다.

        Electric motors in electric vehicles has quite fast torque response, thus fast minor feedback loops can be applied for vehicle slip control. In this study, a model following control based slip ratio controller is suggested. This paper introduced a novel strategy of control for wheel slip in electric vehicle by computer simulations. This paper suggested that the control strategy in this paper can control the driving motor torque to drive the wheel on the slippery road surface.

        The Automobiles with a combustion engine use a transmission for increasing drive force, reverse-move and maintaining non-load condition in general. In the Electric automobile system, output-axial can be operated just by controlling the motor manipulated with power. It also does not need reverse-gear by rotating the motor in the opposite direction. Designed to assemble two different types of planetary gear ratio and to be input torque of input-axial in sun gear and divide ring gear Ⅰ, Ⅱ and then after one of ring gear is fixed, in accordance with the planetary gear velocity ratio, the first gear has 0.136 decreased speed and second gear has 0.240 decreased speed, separately. While the planetary gear type transmission showed over the 92% of efficiency in the all of velocity range. The transmission proposed in this study can be expected to apply to the electric vehicle or others.

        고주파 마그네트론 스퍼터링(RF magnetron sputtering)법을 이용하여 자동차유리 성에 제거용 주석첨가 인듐산화물(indium tin oxide;ITO) 투명저항박막의 증착과 그 전기 및 광학 특성을 연구하였다. 기판온도는 A, T.-300˚C, O2/(Ar+O2)비는 0-0.3로 변화시키며 실험하였다. 기판온도가 높아질수록, 그리고 O2/(Ar+O2)비가 높아질수록 박막의 증착속도는 감소하였다. 또한, 기판온도가 높아질수록 In2O3(400) 방향의 결정성은 감소하고, In2O3(222)와 (400) 피크만이 잔존하였다. 기판온도가 높아질수록 가시광영역의 광투과도는 향상되었고, 면저항은 200˚C까지는 감소하였으나 200˚C이상에서는 거의 일정하였으며, 결정립 크기는 온도가 높아질수록 증가하였다. 박막의 면저항은 O2/(Ar+O2)비가 0.1에서는 감소하고, 그 이상에서는 증가하였으며, 광투과도는 O2/(Ar+O2)비에 거의 영향을 받지 않았다.

        As environmental concerns including climate change drive the strong regulations for car exhaust emissions, electric vehicles attract the public eye. The purpose of this study is to identify rural areas vulnerable for charging infrastructures based on the spatial distributions of the current gas stations and provide the target dissemination rates for promoting electric cars. In addition, we develop various scenarios for finding optimal way to expand the charging infrastructures through the administrative districts data including 11,677 gas stations, the number of whole national gas stations. Gas stations for charging infrastructures are randomly selected using the Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) method. Evaluation criteria for vulnerability assessment include five considering the characteristic of rural areas. The optimal penetration rate is determined to 21% in rural areas considering dissemination efficiency. To reduce the vulnerability, the charging systems should be strategically installed in rural areas considering geographical characteristics and regional EV demands.

        Car exhaust emissions are recognized as one of the key sources for climate change and electric vehicles have no emissions from tailpipe. However, the limited charging infrastructures could restrict the propagation of electric vehicles. The purpose of this study is to find the vulnerable districts limited to the charging station services after meeting the goal of Ministry of Knowledge Economy(12%). We assumed that the charging service can be provided by current gas stations. The range of the vulnerable grades was determined by the accessibility to current gas stations and the vulnerable regions were classified considering the optimal number of charging stations estimated by the efficiency function. We used 4,827 sub-municipal divisions and 11,677 gas station locations for this analysis. The results show that most of mountain areas are vulnerable and the fringe areas of large cities generally get a good grade for the charging infrastructure. The gangwon-do, jeollanam-do, gyeongsangbuk-do, and chungcheongnam-do include more than 40% vulnerable districts.
