        토목구조물의 설계와 시공에 있어서 온도변화는 매우 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 따라서 토목구조물의 설계 및 해석에 있어서 물성변화 특성을 고려한 대표적 기후조건에서 각각의 재료의 물성치를 적용하여, 설계 또는 구조해석을 실시하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 토목구조물의 설계 및 해석 시 정확한 온도하중 산정을 위하여 기상청의 기후데이터를 이용하여 국내 대표 도시를 선정하여, 각 도시의 기상관측소 최대 30년(1982~2011) 기간의 일평균온도 데이터를 분석하였다. 각 데이터 값의 통계적 분석을 통하여 토목구조물 설계 및 시공에 있어 고려할 수 있는 최대/최소 온도 변화 값 및 국내 고유의 온도 변화에 관한 기초 자료를 제시하였다.

        현재 독일 함부르크에서 공사 중에 있는 하펜시티는 수변공간 개발을 통한 도시재생 사업 중 모범적인 사례로 평가받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 하펜시티가 21세기형 도시를 지향하고 있음을 밝힐 것이다. 이는 도시인구의 교외이동으로 인한 도심의 공동화 현상을 치유하고 극복하는 방안으로서의 재도시화 현상과 맞물려 있다. 따라서 하펜시티 프로젝트의 현황과 특징을 살펴보기에 앞서 유럽의 해항도시에서 도시공동화를 불러일으킨 원인과 그 극복방안으로서의 재도시화 현상에 대해 먼저 살펴볼 것이다. 함부르크 하펜시티가 지향하는 새로운 도시성, 그리고 전통과 창조의 결합을 통한 문화적 가치들이 하펜시티 프로젝트에 어떻게 구체적으로 추구되고 있는지를 살펴보고 소개함으로써 북항 재개발 사업이 개선되어 올바른 방향으로 나아가길 바라기 때문이다

        최근 들어 도시 재개발 과정에서 중요시되는 도시 워터프런트를 다각적으로 이해하고자 하는 여러 시도들이 이루어지고 있다. 본 고에서는 수(水)문화 개념에 입각하여 항구도시 워터프런트를 문화론적으로 해석하고자 시도했다. 본 논문은 안과 밖을 허물고 경계를 희석시키는 물의 속성에 기반하여 바다의 역동성과 집합성, 개방성 속성에 기초하여 워터프런트가 가진 속성을 밝혔다. 그리하여 항구도시 워터프런트가 지닌 경계성, 개방성, 혼종성, 통로적 성격이라는 문화론적 속성이 도시 거주민의 문화정체성 형성에 깊은 영향을 미친다는 점을 부산의 사례를 통해 강조하였다. 이를 통해 항구도시 워터프런트와 거주민들의 문화정체성간의 상관관계를 분명히 하였다. 나아가 이런 상관관계에 대한 이해가 항구도시 워터프런트 개발의 방향성에 반영되어야 한다고 제안한다.

        본 연구는 최근 많은 지방자치단체의 관심을 끌고 있는 해양레저이벤트의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하기 위해 B광역시에서 개최한 국제 해양레저이벤트 방문객 및 선수단에 대한 소비지출 현황조사와 이벤트개최도시의 투자지출 자료를 활용해 해양레저이벤트의 산업연관분석을 실시해 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 해양레저이벤트의 방문객 및 선수단의 소비지출에 따른 직접효과는 3.87억원이었으며 이에 따른 생산유발효과는 5.91억원, 부가가치유발효과는 3.06억원 그리고 소득유발효과는 2.52억원이었다. 둘째, 해양레저이벤트 개최도시의 투자지출에 따른 경제적 파급효과는 생산유발효과는 8.25억원, 부가가치유발효과는 4.32억원 그리고 소득유발효과는 3.66억원이었다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 해양레저이벤트 개최의 파급효과을 극대화하기 위한 마케팅 전략 및 정책 수립의 기초자료를 제공하고 있다.

        본 연구는 우리나라의 대표적인 해항도시이며, 우리나라의 해양수도 및 동북아 관문항을 지향하는 부산광역시와 인천광역시의 해양환경 관리실태를 비교 분석하고 이의 제고방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 본 연구는 해양환경지표로서 수온(C), 염분(‰), 수소이온농도(PH), 용존산소(DO: mg/l), 화학적 산소요구량(COD: mg/l), 용존무기질소(DIN: mg/l), 총질소(T-N: mg/l), 용존무기인(DIP: mg/l), 총인(T-P: mgp/ml), 규산규소(Sio2-Si), 부유물질(mg/l), 클로로필(Chi-a: μg/l) 등의 총 12개 지표들을 사용하였다. 연구의 결과, 부산광역시와 인천광역시의 경우 2000년도부터 2003년도까지는 해양환경상태가 악화되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부산광역시 및 인천광역시의 해양환경상태를 악화시키고 있는 해양환경지표는 총질소, 용존무기인, 총인 등으로 나타났고, 이들 해양환경지표들은 해가 갈수록 악화되고 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

        In order to clarify the impact of regional warming on the ozone concentration according to the differences in meteorological contribution in each city over the South-Eastern part of the Korean Peninsula, several numerical experiments were carried out. WRF - CMAQ model was used to access the ozone differences in each case, during the episode day. Meteorological contributions estimated by WRF command a reasonable feature on the dispersion of ozone concentrations in each city according to regional warming. This causes a difference in estimated ozone concentration. A higher ozone concentration difference tend to be forecasted in coastal cities than in upcountry city. Therefore, the emission reduction policy according to the regional warming should consider the characteristics of meteorological contribution of each city.

        오늘날 재난의 다양화·복잡화로 다각적으로 계층 및 위험 분야별로 위험요소를 파악하여 안전대비책을 강구해야 할 필요성을 인지하게 되었고, WHO(세계보건기구)에서는 1989년 안전문제에 대해 지역사회 구성원과 각 기관 모두가 함께 참여하는 안전도시 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이에 우리나라도 지방자치단체 차원에서 안전사고 발생을 감소시키려는 정책과 움직임이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 안전한 도시 만들기 사업사례 및 국제안전도시 구축사례사례 분석을 통하여 발전방안 제시의 기초적 자료를 정리하였다.

        The objectives of this study were to investigate the seasonal characteristics of metallic and ion elements of PM10(Particulate matter with aerodynamic diameter ≤10 ㎛) and the effects of vessels exhaust emission from ships harboring in Busan City. The PM10 samples were collected from January 2010 to October 2010 at Dongsam-dong(coastal area), in Busan City. The particulate matters were analyzed for major water soluble ionic components and metals. The ranges of the PM10 mass concentrations were from 29.8 ㎍/㎥ to 47.0 ㎍/㎥ in Dongsam-dong. The PM10 mass concentrations in Dongsam-dong are very similar to Gwangbok-dong during same sampling periods. These results were understood by the effects of the shipping source emitted from ships anchoraging and running. The concentrations of water-soluble ions and metals in the PM10 had a level of as high as the order of SO4 2- >NO3 - >Cl - and NH4 + >Na + >Ca 2+ >K + >Mg 2+ , respectively. The correlation coefficients(R 2 ) for SO4 2- /PM10 and NH4 + /PM10 of were 0.7446 and 0.7784, respectively, and it showed the high correlation with each other.

        This study investigated the status of planting status of school’s flower of 11 elementary schools located in Chung-ju and its results were as follows. Totally 3,502 trees were planted in the 11 schools and the number of species of the trees was 103. For tall tree Thuja orientalis was planted most frequently and for shrub Buxus microphylla was done in the largest number of the schools. In addition, the number of trees planted in a school was averagely two times more in the model schools than in the other ones, and the average number of species of trees was also over three times more in the model schools. When the number of species of trees was examined according to their types, decidous broad leaved tree was found most frequently overall and the model schools had more various species of decidous tree compared to the other ones. Investigation on designation of school’s flower and tree with the 11 elementary school, revealed similar results with those of previous studies performed with the schools in other areas and the tendency meant that the designation was uniform to some degree. Moreover, as only a few school’s flower and tree were planted or no one was done in some schools, the species of school’s flower and tree needed to be determined by considering characteristics and school percepts of a school as well as local features and circumstances of a region. In addition, more efforts should be made to infuse love for school and to improve quality of education by increasing the planting rate of school’s flower and tree and by focusing them.

        As air pollution has emerged as one of the most pressing urban environmental concerns, many studies have investigated the influence of air pollutants(ex: O3, NO2, SO2, Acid rain, etc.) on roadside trees and urban grove. In Korea, population density started to increase since the industrialization. Since dense population aggravates our living conditions, it's very important for us to preserve and keep a lively and refreshing nature in order to live with green nature in harmony under the current artificial environment-dominating world. In metropolitan cities, the production of pollutants increases in proportion to population growth. The vehicle exhaust gas and air pollutants from cooling and heating systems have been the major causes of acid rain. Furthermore, tire particles which are naturally produced by tire wearing on roads and other toxic substances in exhaust gas have caused a problem in human health directly and indirectly. In fact, a lot of studies have analyzed air pollution, roadside trees and plants in Korea. However, they are mostly limited to covering the influence of air pollution on the growth of plants. No paper has clearly explained why air pollution-resistant or-vulnerable species has shown different reactions yet. Even though a lot of urban roadside trees have died or stopped to grow from time to time, this kind of problem has not been properly examined. This paper is aimed to comparatively analyze physio-ecological characteristic such as photosynthesis, chlorophyll contents, soil volume water figure out their relationship with environmental factors against the expanding roadside trees in Cheong-ju, and provide basic data for management of roadside trees and elaboration of urban environment preservation policies.

        This study was performed to investigate the physico-chemical properties and phytoplankton concentration from February to December, 2007 in Gwangju area reservoirs. Water samples from 20 reservoirs were analyzed. As results of the water quality analysis, the average pH was 7.6 and annual pH were 6.3 ~9.6. The higher pH of 8.6 ~ 9.6 were showed from March to August due to eutrophication. Chlorophyll-a concentration ranged from 0.4 to 164.3 mg/㎥. The highest chlorophyll-a concentration was observed in August. BOD was correlated with SS, T-N, and Chlorophyll-a(R=0.82, 0.90 and 0.84) respectively. COD was correlated with BOD, SS and Chlorophyll-a(R= 0.89, 0.77 and 0.76) respectively. The T-N/T-P ratios were 4~281, so phosphorus was considered to be the limiting factor in most of points. The trophic state showed eutrophicate states in Gwangju reservoirs. Therefore it was necessary to monitor continuously. In order to monitor the reservoirs, an algae prediction system must be used.

        The purpose of this study was to examine the relations between using experience of environmental education facilities and attitude toward environmental education in parents who have elementary students in Seattle, U.S. The findings of this study represented that elementary parents have a great understanding about the importance of environmental education. Parents have a strong agreement with the necessity of environmental education in childhood. This research also found the differences between grades and facilities for environmental education in expected effect on environmental education and desirable fields of environmental education. The awareness of the importance of environmental education increased according to frequency in using environmental education facilities. In addition, the more the experiences of using various environmental education facilities, such as museum of natural history, science museum, arboretum, and aquarium expanded, the more educational effects positively increased over time.

        Obesity affects various kinds of adult diseases and is a principal cause of injuring people's health. Physical activities are very important to solve the obesity problem and green spaces are good place to take physical activities. In order to examine the utilization of green spaces for physical activities to improve health, the survey was implemented in regards to recognition of health, forms of use of green spaces for physical activities. Only 8.1% of respondents didn't care about health, but 91.9% of them were interested in health more than ‘commonness’. 95.2% of respondents knew that obesity has an effect on various adult diseases, and 93.1% of respondents cognized that it's possible to prevent obesity by doing physical activities. More than half of respondents replied that the types of green spaces utilized for physical activities were small-scale neighborhood parks and mini parks around house. About 70% of respondents took walking as a type of physical activities. 53% of respondents utilized green spaces one or two times a week, while 25% of them utilized the places at least three times a week to take physical activities. 91.8% of respondents took exercise for more than 30 minutes. These results are expected to promote health because many experts encourage people to take physical activities at least three times a week because fats of human body begins to burn after 30 minutes from start of physical activities. In the utilizing time of green spaces, evening or after work(56.7%) was higher than morning or before work(35.1%). 71% of respondents usually visited green spaces by walking. This study shows green spaces are good places for physical activities and have boundless potentialities improving people's health.

        This paper has attempted to improve the quality of urban environment in terms of the management of urban green tract and suggest a way of coexistence between human and nature by proposing a plan to establish green network using an urban green zone based on ‘linear concept’ instead of point and plane concepts. The results have turned out as follows: 1. According to current status of forest functions, forest recreation area has reached 39.6%, satisfying citizens’ needs. However, the space for living environment is just about 20% with a lack of a green zone. Therefore, it’s been necessary to establish green network using roadside trees and take advantage of them as sustainable living space along with existing green tract. 2. With forest in the suburbs and Geumhogang which is the tributary to the Nakdonggang, Sincheon (stream) flows through the downtown. It connects mountains including Waryongsan from the south to the north around Duryu Park and Dalseong Park. Therefore, the water system that passes through Palgongsan (Mt.) and Biseulsan (Mt.) would make it possible to connect with the parks in the downtown. 3. According to this paper, it appears that it’s necessary to establish green network through roof or wall greening by focusing on the existing green tract in the urban parks and suburbs and taking advantage of roadside trees and water system.

        본 연구에서는 진주시 가호동 일대의 옥상조경시설이 조성된 지역을 통하여 수목의 현황 및 특성을 파악하고 온도의 저감정도를 조사하기 위해 식물의 존치와 토양의 분포가 옥상바닥면의 온도와 차이를 비교하였다. 옥상내 식재된 수목은 관목이 대부분이었으며, 생육은 폴리비안(Polybian) 건물의 반송이 고사되는 것이 육안으로 관찰되었으며, 모든 건물에서 사용되는 토양은 인공경량토가 아닌 마사토 및 모래로 지상보다 열악한 환경조건인 옥상에 건물의 지반하중의 부담을 감소시키며, 배수성 및 통기성을 향상시킬 수 있는 인공경량토로 대체하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 판단된다. 옥상 조경시설물의 온도 또한 대기온도가 13℃일때 옥상의 방수층 바닥온도는 30℃이상으로 맑은날 대기온도가 증가할수록 일사량 또한 증가하여 바닥면의 온도를 더욱 증가시킬 것으로 판단된다. 단기간의 옥상건물의 온도비교 분석은 해당일의 날씨 등의 요인으로 데이터의 신뢰가 다소 떨어질 수 있는 요인이 되며, 일일 데이터만으로는 여름철 전체의 대표성을 가질 수 없다. 따라서 차후 여름철 온도저감의 전반적 효과를 파악하는데 있어 신뢰성을 높이기 위한 자동 데이터 장비를 이용한 측정이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.
