        지난 몇 십년동안 전 세계적으로 제조기술 분야의 급속한 성장으로 대부분의 제조 업에서 눈부실만한 품질향상과 생산성 극대화를 이루어 왔다. 하지만 현재 제조기술 분야는 새로운 문제에 직면하고 있다. 실제 현장에서 관리하고자하는 품질특성은 정규 분포를 따르지 않는 경우가 많은데, 대부분의 통계적 공정관리기술체계가 정규분포를 기반으로 하고 있다는 것이다. 또한 기존의 불량률 관리도로는 PPM/PPB 수준의 극소 불량률을 관리하는데 한계가 있다. 이러한 이유로 비정규 공정에서 극소불량관리, 미 세변동관리에 대한 연구가 시급한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 비정규 공정에서 극소 불량률을 관리하기 위해서   통계량에 Burr 분포를 적용하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

        Job-appropriate personal protective equipment(PPE) is important for decreasing the high rates of occupational injury experienced by construction site. Objective: This analysis describes Personal protective equipment payment methods improvement by revision of occupation safety&health acts. Methodes: Data are show up during the past 9 year statistics for occupation injury cases from actual construction site in Korea construction company. Results: Most construction workers are not wearing PPE because of non-payment of PPE by employer mainly small enterprises. Conclusions: Construction site workers should be buy with job appropriate PPE themselves. Buying of PPE is essential in the near future and government should be provide appropriate compensation for self-buying action such as raise retirement deduction installment or raise of industrial accident insurance.

        Design in small hydro power systems is the detailed work required a variety of epidemiological considerations. However, turbine designers were often feel the limitations due to repetitive calculations or drawings, rather than focusing on finding the turbine performance and efficiency improvements. Furthermore, miss the point in repeating the procedure design process or cross the interface is not easy to keep track of the changes required parameters should also feel the difficulties in efficient design. Improve this unreasonable points, though he design part is insufficient understanding of the hydro turbine, to automate the design to exclude the repetitive operations is the purpose of this study

        요 약 본 연구에서는 보청천 중권역의 어류군집 특성을 분석하 고 수질과의 상관관계를 연구하였다. 2008년부터 2013년 까지 4개 지점에서 총 50종이 채집되었으며, 우점종은 피라 미(Zacco platypus)와 참갈겨니(Zacco Koreanus)로 각각 26%, 23%의 출현율을 보였다. 내성도 길드별로는 내성종 이 30%, 민감종이 30%로 비교적 고른 분포를 보였으며 트 로픽 길드별로는 충식종이 51%, 잡식종이 42%로 충식종이 다소 우세하게 나타났다. 생물보전지수(IBI)는 평균 28.6으 로 Ⅲ(Fair~Poor) 등급이었고, 이·화학적 수질 분석 결과 최상류인 S1의 수질이 가장 좋았으며 S3까지 급격히 악화 되다가 S4에서 다소 회복되는 경향을 보여 상류에서 하류 로 갈수록 대체로 악화되는 것으로 나타났다. 수질요소와 어류 군집간의 상관관계 분석에서 TN은 어류군집과 통계 적으로 유의한 관계가 나타나지 않았으나 TP는 높아질수록 충식종 비율이 감소하고 잡식종 비율이 증가하는 등 섭식 길드와 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. N:P ratio는 섭식길드와 의 관계에서 TP와 유사한 결과를 보였으며 내성도 길드와 의 분석에서도 증가할수록 민감종 비율이 증가하고 내성종 비율이 감소하여 어류 조성에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났 다.

        The small brown planthopper (SBPH), Laodelphax striatellus Fallén (Hemiptera: Delphacidae) is one of the major insect pest against rice, Oryza sativa L. in Korea. High density of SBPH could cause severe damage on rice plant by directly sucking and indirectly transmitting viral pathogens, Rice stripe virus and Rice streaked dwarf virus. As a preliminary study for de novo whole-genome sequencing of SBPH, we investigated 6 transcriptomes isolated from different developmental stages, sex, and tissue (egg, 1st ~ 3rd nymphs, 4th ~ 5th nymphs, female and male adults, salivary gland). Clean-sequence data of 19.3 Gb were obtained from total 47.8 Gb raw data after adaptor and quality trimming (Q30) and overlapped reads joining. As a suitable assembler, Bridger was selected based on the results of reference mapping (93.45%) and CEGMA completeness (95.97%). Finally, we obtained 158,207 reads (size range: 201 ~ 22,162 bp; Mean size: 1,048.04 bp; N50: 2,417 bp) after clustering the assembly results by CD-HIT-EST (similarity threshold: 99%). Based on these results, we are conducting further studies such as transcript expression pattern among different developmental stages and gene annotation.

        The small brown planthopper (SBPH), Laodelphax striatellus Fallen, is an important pest that causes severe yield losses by transmitting plant viruses to rice. For the efficient control of SBPH in Korea, the respective resistance levels in the immigrant and indigenous populations need to be discerned. The resistance levels to 10 insecticides (three carbamates, an organophosphate, four neonicotinoids, and a phenylpyrazole) were evaluated in 21 field populations collected from either SBPH-immigrating or indigenous regions during two different seasons (early spring vs. late summer). Imidacloprid resistance was most widely observed in many regional populations, followed by thiamethoxam resistance. Interestingly, the resistance level to imidacloprid was significantly higher in both immigrant and late-summer-collected populations than in indigenous and early spring-collected populations, respectively [3.3- (p = 0.018) and 2.6-fold (p = 0.026)]. Moreover, the late summer immigrant population exhibited higher imidacloprid resistance (2.4-fold) than the early spring-collected population from the same region, suggesting that the migratory SBPH that immigrated into Korea already exhibited imidacloprid resistance traits and were further selected after inhabitation. All field populations showed little resistance to fipronil (0.1- to 0.7-fold), suggesting that it is the most effective among the tested insecticides to control field populations of SBPH. The coefficient of variation of the resistance ratio (RR) among different regional populations and the correlation coefficient of RR among different insecticides have been suggested as supplementary parameters when determining appropriate insecticides as respective indicators for the dispersion status of resistance among SBPH populations and the possibility of cross resistance among tested insecticides.

        We have designed and built three cost effective observatories, in distinct models, which can house Schmidt - Cassegrain type small telescopes having aperture sizes up to 16 inches. Using the available small telescopes, we provided the people of Manipura State in the far north-east corner of India the opportunity to observe directly with their own eyes the rare, spectacular events of the solar eclipse of January 15, 2010, lunar eclipse of December 10, 2011 and the transit of Venus of June 6, 2012. Apart from sharing a platform with the public for astronomy education and popularization through public outreach programs such as workshops, seminars and night watch programs, we have also developed a laboratory infrastructure and gained expertise in observational techniques based on photoelectric photometry, CCD imaging, CCD photometry and spectroscopy. Our team has become a partner in the ongoing international `Orion project' headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, USA which will be producing high quality photometric and spectroscopic data for five stars in the Orion constellation, namely Betelgeuse (alpha Orionis), Rigel (beta Orionis), Mintaka (delta Orionis), Alnilam (epsilon Orionis) and Alnitak (zeta Orionis). In the present paper, the authors would like to give a detailed report of their activities for the growth of astronomy in the state of Manipur, India.

        A group of universities have come together with the aim of designing and developing Small Aperture Robotic Telescopes (SmART) for use by students to observe variable stars and transient follow-ups. The group is deliberating on the components of the robotic system; e.g. the telescope, the mount, the back-end camera, control software, and their integration keeping in mind the scientific objectives. The prototype might then be replicated by all the participating universities to provide round the clock observations from sites spread evenly in longitude across the globe. Progress made so far is reported in this paper.

        The Kepler mission has shown that small planets are extremely common. It is likely that nearly every star in the sky hosts at least one rocky planet. We just need to look hard enough - but this requires vast amounts of telescope time. MINERVA (MINiature Exoplanet Radial Velocity Array) is a dedicated exoplanet observatory with the primary goal of discovering rocky, Earth-like planets orbiting in the habitable zone of bright, nearby stars. The MINERVA team is a collaboration among UNSW Australia, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Penn State University, University of Montana, and the California Institute of Technology. The four-telescope MINERVA array will be sited at the F.L. Whipple Observatory on Mt Hopkins in Arizona, USA. Full science operations will begin in mid-2015 with all four telescopes and a stabilised spectrograph capable of high-precision Doppler velocity measurements. We will observe ~100 of the nearest, brightest, Sun-like stars every night for at least five years. Detailed simulations of the target list and survey strategy lead us to expect 154 new low-mass planets.

        위생적인 수확후처리를 통하여 안전한 농산물 생산을 유도하기 위하여 영양부추를 대상으로 수확후 처리시설 모델을 개발하였으며 개발된 수확후 처리시설 설치와 위생교육이 미생물 안전에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 본 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 양주지역 영양부추 생산 농가의 수확 후 처리시설 환경과 영양부추에서 위생지표세균(일반세균수, 대장균군, E. coli)과 병원성미생물(Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, Bacillus cereus)을 조사하였다. 그 결과, 빗, 칼, 도마 등 수확후 처리시설에서 사용하는 작업도구의 일반세균수 오염수준은 수확후 처리시설 설치농가(A, B)에서 수확후 처리시설 비설치농가(C) 보다 1.44~2.33 log CFU / 100cm² 정도 낮았다. 특히 도마의 경우 A농가에서 1.00 log CFU / 100cm²이하, B 농가에서 2.23 logCFU / 100cm²인데 반해 C 농가에서는 6.03 log CFU / 100cm²로 농가간의 위생 상태에 따라 B. cereus의 오염수준이 차이가 크게 나타났다. 또한 지하수에 침지 한 영양부추에서 침지 전 보다 대장균군이 0.57~1.89 log CFU/g이 증가하였다. E. coli는 영양부추, 침지한 후 지하수, 토양에서 검출되었으며, E. coli O157:H7, Salmonella spp., L. monocytogenes는 검출되지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 소규모 수확 후 처리시설 설치와 위생교육을 통하여 농가 내 수확후처리 환경의 위생을 개선하는데 효과적이라 판단된다. 이와 더불어 유해미생물에 의한 식중독사고를 사전에 예방하기 위해서는 수확 후에 오염된 유해미생물을 저감화 할 수 있는 세척, 소독 기술의 개발과 도입이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

        For small-size reinforce-concrete buildings, Midas Gen, OpenSees, and Perform-3D, which are structural analysis programs that are most popularly used at present, were applied for nonlinear static pushover analysis, and then difference between those programs was analyzed. Example buildings were limited to 2-story frames with irregular shaped walls. Analysis result showed that there were more differences than for frames only and frames with rectangular walls, but it was not so significant. Nevertheless, the capacity curve were different in some buildings, which is attributed to shape and location of walls, and feature of the analysis program. Especially, selection of automatic or manual input in Midas Gen, or nonlinear wall elements in Perform3D can affect the capacity curve and performance of the buildings. Therefore, the program users should understand the feature of the program well, and then conduct performance assessment. The result of this study is limited to low-story buildings so that it should be noted that it is possible to get different results for mid- to high-rise buildings.

        본 연구에서는 소형어선 및 예인선단의 해양사고 사례를 통해 선박의 규정된 등화 및 형상물로 오인할 수 있거나 그들의 특성식별을 방해하는 등화 및 형상물 또는 적절한 경계(警戒)를 방해하는 등화 및 형상물의 문제점을 살펴보았다. 그리고 다음과 같이 선박의 등화 및 형상물에 관한 규칙을 규정하고 있는 국내법의 개정 필요성을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저「총톤수 10톤 미만 소형어선의 구조 및 설비기준」은 소형어선이 「국제해상충돌예방규칙」제26조 및「해사안전법」제84조에서 규정하고 있는 “어로에 종사하고 있는 선박”이 표시하여야 하는 등화 및 형상물을 비치하도록 개정하여야 한다. 둘째 소형어선의 항해등 및 레이더반사기에 관한 면제 규칙을 규정하고 있는「어선설비기준」은「해사안전법」제20조의 규정을 충족하도록 개정하여야 한다. 셋째 「해사안전법」제2조에서 규정하고 있는 “예인선열”의 정의는 「국제해상충돌예방규칙」제24조의 규정을 충족하도록 개정하여야 한다. 또한 모든 항해사에게 해양사고 예방을 위하여 적절한 등화 및 형상물 표시의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다.

        We developed the memory storage type instrumentation device for measuring trajectory of small flying object. The instrumentation device is small enough to install into the flying object and has a 6-axis MEMS sensor and 3 AD channels for measuring flying data of object. In this paper, we specially focused on the measuring of flying trajectory of the sabot using developed device. The sabot which supports missile during carriage breaks away from missile by mechanical and aerodynamic force when missile gets out of canister. The flying trajectory of sabot should be designed not to collide with any equipments around the launcher. In order to find out the flying trajectory of sabot, the developed instrumentation device was adopted in experiment. We have proved effectiveness of the developed instrumentation device by comparing acquired results using the hi-speed camera.

        The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of operating conditions on the performance of small HSDI compression ignition engine. Combustion and exhaust emission characteristics of engine were studied by using CFD simulation with ECFM-3Z combustion model. The conditions of simulation were varied with injection timing, injection pressure, and operating speed, and the results were compared in terms of combustion pressure, rate of heat release, NOx and soot. It was found that as injection timing was advanced and injection pressure is increased, combustion pressure and rate of heat release were increased. As a result, NOx generation is increased. Soot generation is also increased due to the wall film caused by the increase of the injection pressure and locally the rich mixture caused by the effect of the advancing of injection timing.
