본 연구는 교사와 유아의 그림책 함께 읽기 활동을 통해 나타난 유아들의 언어적 반응 및 이야기 이해 전략의 변화·전개 과정을 심층적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 관찰일지와 비디오 녹화 및 녹음의 3가지 방법을 통해 자료를 수집한 후 질적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 유아들의 언어적 반응이 초기에는 구성요소에 초점을 두고 반응하였으나 후기에는 그림책을 하나의 문학작품으로 보고 접근하는 반응들이 나타났다. 둘째, 유아들은 이야기를 이해하기 위해 다양한 이해전략을 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 그림책 함께 읽기 활동이 문학적 경험의 기회를 제공하고 언어적 반응 및 이야기 이해 전략의 변화에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 그림책을 읽는 과정에서 그림의 의미나 분위기가 유아에게 본문과 더불어 중요한 정보를 제공하는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 평가 매체가 유아의 이야기 이해력에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 연구하였다. 평가 매체는 컴퓨터동화와 그림동화로 두 평가 매체간의 이야기 이해력의 차이를 알아본 결과 컴퓨터동화가 그림동화매체보다 더 많은 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 이야기 이해력의 하위 평가인 다시말하기에서는 컴퓨터동화 매체가 그림동화 매체보다 더 많은 긍정적 영향을 미쳤고, 듣기이해력에서는 두 평가 매체간에 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 또한, 총 10회로 평가한 유아의 이야기 이해력은 어떠한 변화경향을 나타내는가를 알아보고자 하였고, 연구 결과 두 평가 매체 모두 점진적 향상을 나타내는 1차 경향으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 유치원 교사가 자기 장학을 통해 지식과 기술, 자기 이해, 그리고 생태적 측면에서 어떻게 발달해 가는지를 질적으로 분석하여 유치원 교사가 자기 장학을 실시하는 과정에서 나타나는 효과와 한계는 무엇이며, 세 측면간의 연관성은 어떠한지를 알아보고자 한 것이다. 그 결과, 교사 발달은 지식과 기술, 자기 이해, 그리고 생태적 측면에서 상호 밀접한 관련이 있기 때문에 포괄적으로 이해되어야 하며, 교사 발달을 지원하기 위해서는 교사 발달 수준에 적합한 장학의 유형 및 방법의 적용과 구체적인 외부 지원이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

Development of the Neo-Confucianism during the Chosen dynasty begun to get attention among international scholars since about three decade ago. Cho Sik (Nammyung, 1501-72) was one of the two most distinguished Neo-Confucian scholars at the sixteenth century with Yi Hwang (T'oegye, 1501-70). However, Cho Sik' scholarly achievements in the Neo-Confucianism had been neglected due to political reason during late Chosen dynasty. It was continued up to late 20th century. Recently his contributions to development of Korean Neo-Confucian studies were rediscovered by new generation. His academic works written in classical Chinese had been newly translated into modern Korean and several research institutes for Nammyung studies had initiated international academic conferences on his works and their contributions to Korean intellectual community. 『 Diagram and Inscription of Shin-myung-sa』 is one of his most important works for understanding of his scholarly world-views. I have examined this work in terms of Dae-dae cultural grammar, my model of analysis on traditional Korean culture. The diagram and Inscription could be seen as the most representative summary of his life long search to understanding Sung and Ming Neo-Confucian traditions and their realization in the Chosun (Yi) dynasty. Two fundamental concepts he focused in the search are kyung and ui . In the diagram and inscription they are neatly explained how to practice in state rule and scholar's daily living. This paper shows that Dae-dae cultural grammar underlie 『 Diagram and Inscription of Shin-myung-sa』consistently.

Jae-Hak Yoon. 2001. Understanding English Temporal Adverbials through Aktionsarten. Studies in Modern Grammar 23, 149-164. This paper aims to show how theoretical linguistic research can be easily applied to foreign language education. We present some typical errors committed by Korean learners of English as a foreign language which all involve inappropriate use of temporal adverbials in one way or another. We illustrate how the notion of aktionsarten can help identify and correct these problem sentences.
