        본 연구는 계기판을 통해 운전자에게 전달되는 다양한 정보에 대한 인지성 실험을 통해 제공 되어야 할 정보의 우선순위와 계기판 영역내의 인지성 분포를 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 계기판의 디자인 가이드 라인을 제시함을 목적으로 한다. 계기판은 운전자에게 차량을 안전하게 조작하기 위해 알아야 할 중요한 정보를 제공하며 또한 계기판의 시인/시계성을 고려함으로서 운전자가 시야확보 및 운전상황 정보를 빠르고 정확하게 파악하게 할 수 있는 중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서, 계기판의 인지성은 안전 문전을 위해서 뿐 아니라 작업효율성을 위해서도 중요하다고 할 수 있다.

        MIRIS is the main payload of the STSAT-3 (Science and Technology Satellite 3) and the first infrared space telescope for astronomical observation in Korea. MIRIS space observation camera (SOC) covers the observation wavelength from 0.9μm to 2.0μm with a wide field of view 3.67∘×3.67∘ . The PICNIC HgCdTe detector in a cold box is cooled down below 100K by a micro Stirling cooler of which cooling capacity is 220mW at 77K. MIRIS SOC adopts passive cooling technique to chill the telescope below 200 K by pointing to the deep space (3K). The cooling mechanism employs a radiator, a Winston cone baffle, a thermal shield, MLI (Multi Layer Insulation) of 30 layers, and GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) pipe support in the system. Optomechanical analysis was made in order to estimate and compensate possible stresses from the thermal contraction of mounting parts at cryogenic temperatures. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of mechanical structure was also conducted to ensure safety and stability in launching environments and in orbit. MIRIS SOC will mainly perform Galactic plane survey with narrow band filters (Pa α and Pa α continuum) and CIB (Cosmic Infrared Background) observation with wide band filters (I and H) driven by a cryogenic stepping motor.

        국가 간 문화의 차이에 의하여 생활습관이나 방식이 많이 다르게 나타난다. 그중에서도 음식은 다른 분야보다 많은 차이를 나타난다. 특히 음식의 종류에 따라 사용되는 음식도구 중 디자인요소가 동일하고 유사한 것이 있거나 다른 요소와 기능을 갖는 경우도 있다. 따라서 각 국가 간의 음식도구를 유니버설하게 사용할 수 있는 도구 디자인 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 음식에 대한 행동분석프로세스를 개발하여 국가 간 음식문화의 차이에서 오는 공통점과 차이점을 찾아내어 공용으로 사용할 수 있는 음식도구의 디자인요소를 창의성의 관점에서 제안하기 위한 연구이다. 본 연구의 연구방법과 내용으로는 첫째, 음식에 대한 소비자행동분석 프로세스의 개발 및 관찰을 통하여 행동분석에 대한 이론적 고찰과 현장에서 일어나고 있는 행동분석을 접목하여 음식행동분석프로세스를 개발하였다. 둘째로, 개발된 프로세스를 이용하여 국가 간 음식의 주문부터 평가까지의 과정을 비교 분석하고 나타난 현상에 대한 문제점 파악 및 이에 대한 결과물을 각 국가별 학생들을 대상으로 음식도구에 대한 디자인 개발을 진행하였다. 셋째, 국가별 개발된 디자인 안을 대상으로 선호도, 요인분석, 상관분석을 통하여 국가별 선호요소와 창의성평가요소의 상관관계를 알아보았다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻어지는 효과는 개발된 프로세스를 이용하여 국가별, 음식별, 행동별, 식당형태별로 비교분석이 가능하도록 하게 하고 얻어진 결과를 이용하여 구체적으로 음식도구 디자인에 이용할 수 있으며 국가 간 동일 아이템을 디자인 교육시간에 진행시켜 대학의 디자인교육의 비교를 통하여 상호간에 협력과 상호보완으로 새로운 아이디어를 공유, 아이디어 전개에 도움이 될 수 있다.

        기존의 전문성 연구들은 참가자들에게 일상적인 과제를 수행하게 함으로써 전문가와 초보자들의 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 하지만, 본 연구는 일상적 비행 상황에 익숙해진 조종사들이 이전에 경험해보지 못한 새로운 비행 상황에서도 유연하게 대처할 수 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 즉, 조종사의 숙련정도에 따라 정상적 및 비정상적 상황에서의 상황인식 능력이 차이가 나는지 관찰하였고 추가적으로, 전문성이 자극 제시 시간에 따른 수행변화에 영향을 주는지 알아보았다. 이를 위해 42명의 조종사들을 전문성의 정도에 따라 초보자와 전문가 집단으로 나누고 이들의 수행이 상황의 특수성 및 자극 제시 시간에 따라 어떻게 달라지는지 알아보았다. 연구를 위하여 조종실 계기판을 모방한 동영상이 제작되었는데, 동영상에 보여지는 계기판들이 모두 정상으로 움직이는 정상적 상황과 이들 중 하나의 계기가 오작동을 일으키는 비정상 상황이 연출되었다. 또한 상황을 지각하기 위한 시간의 차이가 전문성에 따라 다른 효과를 가져오는지 살펴보기 위해서 계기판 상황이 오랫동안 제시되는 긴 제시 조건과 상대적으로 짧게 제시되는 조건으로 조작되었다. 실험 결과, 정상적인 상황에서는 초보자와 전문가 집단 사이의 상황 인식이 유의한 차이가 없었으나, 비정상적인 상황에서는 전문가 집단의 상황인식이 초보자 집단보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 비행 상황의 제시 시간이 짧아졌을 때 조종사들의 전반적인 상황인식 정확도가 떨어졌지만, 전문가와 초보자의 수행차이는 변함없이 초보자 집단에 비해 전문가 집단의 높은 수행이 유지되었다. 비행 상황의 특수성과 제시 시간의 상호작용에 따라 초보자와 전문가의 상황인식은 어떻게 달라지는지 보았을 때, 비행 상황의 제시 시간이 길고 짧음에 관계없이 정상적 상황에서는 초보자와 전문가 집단의 상황인식 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 비정상적 상황에서는 전문가 집단의 상황인식 정확도가 초보자 집단 보다 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 전반적으로 볼 때, 비정상적 상황은 전문가 집단의 수행에 미치는 영향에는 큰 영향을 미치니 못하나 초보자 집단의 수행에는 현저한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

So, this study suggests improvement guide line for the multilateral problems of measuring instrument operation based on the investigation of 157 small and medium-sized enterprises in February, 2008. To use inspection gig correctly, man who treat it must be accustomed with the structure, the performance, the method. The inspection gig is selected properly for the measurement goal. If not, results couldn't be correctly or wasted time, efforts, and costs. When selecting a inspection gig, the locating, the clamping, and the efficiency must be considered.

The correcting-schedule is established with environments with considering accuracy, stability, purpose, condition, and frequency.

        We have preliminarily designed two infrared optical systems of the multi-purpose infrared camera system (MIRIS) which is the main payload of STSAT-3. Each optical system consists of a Cassegrain telescope, a field lens and a 1:1 re-imaging lens system that is essential for providing a cold stop. The Cassegrain telescope is identical for both of two infrared cameras, but the field correction lens and re-imaging lens system are different from each other because of different bands of wavelength. The effective aperture size is 100mm in diameter and the focal ratio is f/5. The total length of the optical system is 300mm and the position of the cold stop is 25mm from the detector focal plane. The RMS spot size is smaller than 40μm over the whole detector plane.

        We present the sensitivity calculation results for observing the Cosmic Infrared Background (CIRB) by the Multi-purpose IR Imaging System (MIRIS), which will be launched in 2010 as a main payload of the Science and Technology Satellite 3 (STSAT-3). MIRIS will observe in I ( 0.9∼1.2um) and H (1.2∼2.0um) band with a 4×4 degree field of view to obtain the large scale structure ( ∼3 degree) of the CIRB. With the given specifications of the MIRIS, our sensitivity calculation results show that the MIRIS has a detection limit of ∼9nWm−2sr−1 (I band) and ∼6nWm−2sr−1 (H band), which is appropriate to observe the large scale structure of CIRB.

        The international cooperation project CIBER (Cosmic Infrared Background ExpeRiment) is a rocket-borne instrument, of which the scientific goal is to measure the cosmic near-infrared extra-galactic background to search for signatures of primordial galaxy formation. CIBER consists of a wide-field two-color camera, a low-resolution absolute spectrometer, and a high-resolution narrow-band imaging spectrometer. Currently, all the subsystems have been built, and the integration, testing, and calibration of the CIBER system are on process for the scheduled launch in June 2008.

        The KASINICS (Korea Astronomy and Space science Institute Near Infrared Camera System) is a ground-based near-infrared (NIR) imaging instrument. KASINICS has offner relay optics to reduce unwanted infrared light. For the offner optics, we adopted an ultra precision machining process which is installed at KBSI (Korea Basics Science research Institute). Since the offner relay optics is made of aluminum 6061 metal material, we did several tests to reach the specification. We found that a 0.497mm radius nose bite and 220m/min machining speed are best tool and condition to make this offner optics with the precision machine. In this paper, we report the technical method of ultra precision machining and results of the KASINICS offner optics.

        An artificial insemination instrument of bumblebee queens was firstly developed. This instrument consists of location tube, transfer tube, holding tube, head product, and probe apparatus for reproductive tract etc. This instrument was designed to minimize stress and damage of reproductive tract of bumblebee queens. The regulator handle apparatus in artificial insemination instrument was used the principle of lever, that manipulates easy, accurate and rapid insemination of bumblebee queens. By using this instrument, the insemination rate was over 90%. This instrument will be useful for the breeding and conservation of excellent character of bumblebees.

        This study was planned to investigate what the main factor of the regulation compliance of inspection on harmful machine, instrument and equipment by industrial safety and health act is. This study subject was composed of three groups as employers, employees of manufacturing and using the harmful machine and safety inspectors. Manufacturing workplace were 236 places, using workplace were 201 places and the safety inspectors were 100 people. The study subject was sampled by stratified random sampling considering the type of harmful Machine. Data for analysis is collected from each sample using interview with structured questionnaires. Compliance is measured by 2, 3, and 4 point scale composed by 8 sub items such as general perception, understanding, clearness, necessity, relevancy, implementation, penalty, and general compliance of the regulation. The level of 8 items of employer's compliance are not differentiated among three groups. The determining factors for inspection observance of the workplace using the harmful Machine were understanding, penalty and cognized compliance. The determining factors for inspection observance of the workplace manufacturing the harmful Machine were understanding and object conformity. These results show that the strategy to adapt the regulated group to inspection regulation will be the elevation of understanding for regulation first of all.

        An alt-azimuth type mount system, developed at the Space Science and Technology Laboratory, Kyung Hee University, has been found to experience some difficulties in monitoring of the artificial space objects. Since the telescope installed on the alt-azimuth mount does not rotate on the same axis as the earth does, this mount system needs an instrument rotator to correct the field rotation. Although there are some commercial instrument rotators already in the market, those are not suitable for our system due to their low interchangeability. In this study, we have designed a new high speed instrument rotator and calculated the deformation of new designed system using structural analyses.

        We have successfully developed the KASI (Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute) Solar Imaging Spectrograph (KSIS), which has been originally upgraded from the KASI solar spectrograph that was able to record solar spectra for a given slit region and to inspect the response function of narrow band filters. A prototype KSIS was developed in 2004 by using a scanning mirror in front of the spectrograph slit and a SBIG ST-8XE CCD camera. Its main disadvantage is that it took a long time (about 13 minutes) to scan a whole active region. In this work, we have upgraded the KSIS by installing a much faster Dalsa 1M15 CCD camera, which gives a data acquisition time of about 2.5 minutes. The software for KSIS was also improved for the new CCD camera on the basis of component-based development method. We have successfully made a test observation for a simple and small active region (AR10910) using the improved KSIS system. Our observations show that H-alpha images for several wavelengths have typical features in a sunspot as well as a H-alpha centerline image is quite similar to a BBSO H-alpha image, demonstrating the capability of the KSIS system.

        The KASINICS (KASI Near Infrared Camera System) is a ground-based Near-Infrared (NIR) imaging instrument developed by the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI). In this paper, we report the test results of the KASINICS camera optics system which is comprised of a 1-1 Offner relay. We measure that the surface RMS fluctuations of the Offner mirrors are at the level of 10−1−10−2 of the target wavelengths, showing that the mirrors are sufficiently smooth for NIR observations. The alignment of the Offner optics system has been checked too. Our ray-tracing simulations find that the image quality should not degrade more than the pixel size of the KASINICS ( 40μm), if a de-centering or a tilt of the Offner mirrors are within 5mm, or 2.5° . Our measurement shows that the de-centering or the tilt of the Offner mirrors are less than 1 mm or 0.5° , assuring that the KASINICS image quality are not affected by the alignment errors. We have also measured that the optics resolution is 20μm and it does not degrade more than 10% over the detector surface area of 14.3 mm / times 14.3mm. Overall, we conclude that the KASINICS optics system satisfies the design requirements for NIR imaging observations.

        A Korean team (Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute, Korea Basic Science Institute, and Kyung Hee University) takes part in an international cooperation project called CIBER (Cosmic Infrared Background ExpeRiment), which has begun with Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in USA and Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS) in Japan. CIBER is a rocket-borne instrument, of which the scientific goal is to measure the cosmic near-infrared extra-galactic background to search for signatures of primordial galaxy formation. CIBER consists of a wide-field two-color camera, a low-resolution absolute spectrometer, and a high-resolution narrow-band imaging spectrometer. The Korean team is in charge of the ground support electronics and manufacturing of optical parts of the narrow-band spectrometer, which will provide excellent opportunities for science and technology to Korean infrared groups.
