이 연구의 목적은 5･18 당시의 상황을 복기하면서 광주민주화운동의 요인, 기독교와 민주화운동의 관계, 5･18 광주민주화운동 전후 대학생의 역할 등에 대하여 새로운 관점에서 고찰하는 데 있다. 5･18 광주민주화 운동에 관한 기존연구들은 사회학적 측면, 정치학적 관점, 역사학적 관 점, 혹은 구술채록이나 증언 등 스토리텔링에 의존하는 경향이 강하다. 본 연구는 당시 생산된 사료를 통해 광주민주화운동 과정에서 대학생의 역할에 관해 주목하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 운동의 요인적 측면에서 1979년 10월 26일 이후 군부 내 ‘12·12 군사쿠데타’가 전국대 학생들의 시위를 촉발시킨 것으로 보인다. 둘째, ‘5·17 비상조치’를 통한 비상계엄령 확대, 정치활동 금지, 민주인사의 체포 및 투옥, 대학 휴교령 이 5·18의 발단을 제공한 것으로 생각된다. 셋째, 5·18 광주민주화운동 과 대학생들의 역할은 시민수습대책위원회, 시민항쟁의 직접 지원 활동 과 적극적인 참여, 광주민주항쟁의 진상 전달 및 국제적 확산 노력 등이 었다. 넷째, 대학생들은 민주화운동 과정에서 결의문 낭독, 반정부집회와 시위, 삐라살포와 전 세계인을 향해 광주의 진상을 확산하기 위해 노력 했다. 향후 연구에서는 대학교수들의 5·18 광주민주화운동 과정에서 사 회적 참여를 살펴볼 필요가 있다.

본 연구는 젊은 해기사의 승선기피 현상이 뚜렷해지는 현 상황에서 코로나19(COVID-19) 기간 중의 위탁승선실습교육의 만족도 를 조사하고 실습교육 개선 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 나아가 위탁승선실습교육의 만족도 향상을 통해 해양대학교 재학생의 향후 해기사로 의 진로의식을 고취하고자 한다. 위탁승선실습을 다녀온 목포해양대학교 재학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 설문지는 교육운 영, 구성내용, 담당사관, 시설 및 교육환경, 교육효과, 교육만족도, 진로의식 등 7가지 요인을 포함하고 있다. 설문 분석 결과 교육운영과 교 육효과 요인에 대한 만족도가 상대적으로 낮았고 성별과 실습선종별로 만족도에 차이가 있었다. 또한 가설검증을 수행하여 위탁승선실습 교육의 구성내용이 교육만족도와 진로인식에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 못하였다는 것과 교육만족도와 진로의식 사이에 강한 상관관계가 존재함을 밝혔다. 위탁승선실습 전에 이루어지는 교육 및 홍보에 대한 개선과 담당사관이 교육자적인 마인드를 가지고 위탁승선실습생을 체계적으로 지도할 수 있도록 담당사관을 대상으로 한 지도 방법 교육 및 위탁승선실습생 교육 계획 수립 등이 필요함을 제시하였다.

본 연구는 새로운 운동문화가 형성되어 가고 있는 과도기적 상황에서, 운동을 겸하고 있는 대학 에 재학 중인 골프 종목 체육특기자 학생 선수들을 대상으로 그들이 대학 생활에서 자신이 실제로 해 보거 나 겪어 본 과정을 근거이론 방법을 바탕으로 심층적으로 조명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 충청도에 있는 A 대학 골프학전공에 재학 중인 10명의 특기자 학생을 연구 참여자로 선택하였으며, 이들과의 심층 면담을 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석 과정은 Strauss와 Corbin(1990)이 밝힌 분석 방법에 따라 개념에 대 해 결론을 끌어내고 개념 간의 관계를 밝히기 위해 코딩 패러다임을 구성하였고, 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 째, 개방 코딩에서 117개 개념, 16개 하위범주, 10개 상위범주가 도출되었다. 둘째로 인과적 조건은 “비대 면 수업의 대학 생활”, 맥락적 요소는 “실기 운동”, “수업 참여”로 범주화하였으며 중심현상은 “골프 종목 체육특기자 학생으로서의 대학 생활 의미”로 보았다. 중재 조건은 운동과 학업을 함께하는 과정을 살펴본 결과 “관계 형성”, “능력향상”으로 정리되었으며 작용/상호작용전략은 “학문 연구”, “부정적인 생각”으로 범주화했으며, 마지막으로 결과는 “지난 대학 생활 되돌아보기”, “정체성”, “미래 설계”로 구성하였다. 이러 한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 파악된 체육특기자(골프) 학생들의 운동과 학업을 병행하는 삶의 과정에 대한 모 형을 근거 이론적 패러다임의 방법 절차에 따라 범주화하였으며, 골프 종목 체육특기자들은 운동 생활이 학업 생활에 긍정적인 영향을 받게 됨에 따라, 쉼이 없는 대학 생활을 이어나가고 있었으며, 그리고 운동과 학업을 모두 포함할 수 있는 학생 선수의 역량 향상을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제시하였다.

With the metaverse emerging as the next leap in the evolution of the Internet in the post-pandemic era, a wealth of opportunities are expected to emerge in the educational sector. As a pioneer study, this research project is aimed at exploring pedagogical values of the metaverse-based classroom in a university setting. The three research questions for this study are: 1) What are the levels of students’ overall satisfaction in metaverse-based classrooms? 2) What is the user experience of the metaverse platform? and 3) What are the strengths/weaknesses of the metaverse-based classroom as perceived by the students? Twenty university students took a foreign language pedagogy course on Gather.town in spring of 2022 for 11 weeks. Student questionnaire and focus-group interviews were conducted and data analysis revealed two major findings as follows: Firstly, both students’ overall satisfaction of the metaverse-based classroom and user experience of the metaverse platform were positive, excepting only instability problems caused by poor internet connections. Secondly, more perceived strengths than weaknesses were found of the newly adopted program: ‘a realistic classroom setting’ and ‘easy communication in multiple ways’ were mentioned as strengths while the main weakness was ‘newness.’ Pedagogical implications are discussed for teachers interested in adopting the metaverse platform for their future classrooms.

This study showcases an International Learning Exchange (ILE) program between North Korean (NK) refugee students in South Korea and American university students from the US. ILE programs connect two or more linguistic/ cultural groups for intercultural awareness, which provide authentic communicative environments. However, the prevalent use of English and research focus mostly on non-native English-speaking students reflect the ideology of native-speakerism embedded in ILE programs. The purpose of this study was to develop an ILE program that resists native-speakerism and to investigate its influences on native as well as non-native English-speaking students. Adopting a case-study approach, data were collected from video-taping, fieldnotes, student documents, surveys, and interviews. Findings show how the authors designed and implemented a principle-based ILE program. The responses of NK students show their growing motivation and communication ability. The responses of American students show their critical reflections on their native-speaker identities. This study offers insights into designing ILE programs based on multilingualism and translanguaging.

This study reports the results of an open-ended questionnaire on the experiences of Korean university students who worked on task-based L2 bimodal collaborative writing enhanced by technology. Thirty-six English major students developed a reading text for 2nd-grade middle school students. Using Microsoft TEAMS as the main platform, participants conducted the collaborative writing task using real-time video conferencing, chatting, commenting, file and image posting, and (a)synchronous feedback/revision functions. Participants 1) used multiple tools to maximize their functions, 2) interacted collaboratively in every writing stage to achieve success, and 3) evaluated the quality of collaborative writing more highly than individual writing and perceived the positive impacts of collaborative writing on L2 writing in audience awareness, paraphrasing technique, and linguistic expressions. The levels of visual editing skills and awareness of online image copyright among students varied.

해운·항만 산업분야는 전통적으로 남성 중심으로 운영되어 온 산업으로, 여성 해기사의 진출 범위가 늘어나고 있지만 여전히 여성 종사자의 비율은 낮은 수준이다. 그러나 본 산업분야의 여성들이 겪는 진로발달 상의 어려움을 설명하고 이를 개선하기 위해 개인이 속한 사회문화적 맥락이나 환경적 요인을 포괄적으로 설명할 수 있는 진로장벽 및 진로결정수준에 대한 연구가 아직 수행되지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 M대학교 해사대학에 재학 중인 여학생들을 대상으로 진로장벽 요인을 도출하고, 진로장벽이 진로결정수 준에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 조사였다. 해사대학 여학생들이 인식하는 진로장벽 요인으로 성차별(GD), 진로 미결정 및 준비 부족(IOU), 직장-가정 갈등(WFC), 개인특성 부족(LPQ), 기대보다 낮은 직업 전망(LOE)이 도출되었다. 도출된 진로장벽 요인이 진로결정수준에 어떤 영 향을 미치는지를 분석한 결과, 진로 미결정 및 준비 부족(IOU)이 진로결정수준에 유의한 부의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 성차별 (GD), 직장-가정 갈등(WFC), 개인특성 부족(LPQ), 기대보다 낮은 직업 전망(LOE)은 진로결정수준에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나 타났다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 결론은 진로장벽을 극복하고 진로결정수준을 향상시키기를 원하는 해사대학 여학생들을 대상으로 하는 진로지도 및 상담을 위한 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze interactions between learners and the instructor (ILI) and interactions among the learners (IAL) themselves in a single university reading class with a focus on scaffolding. Thirty-three learners majoring in computer engineering and public administration participated in the class. Twenty-six out of 33 learners took a non-face-to-face online class (NFTFOC) for a 15-week semester, and the remaining seven learners chose to take a face-to-face class (FTFC) for the five weeks after the mid-term exam. Data from both the NFTFOC and FTFC were collected for 15 weeks from September to December 2021 including an automatic video recording system, quizzes, assignments, etc. through chatting boxes, bulletin boards, and emails. The obtained data were analyzed into both qualitative descriptions and quantitative statistical measures. The results showed that interactions in the low and mid-level of higher-order thinking from both the linguistic and cognitive perspectives occurred similarly, and both amplifying and simplifying of scaffolding functions in NFTFOC were more frequently observed than those in FTFC. In addition, both NFTFOC and FTFC got better scores on the post-test. As development occurs in language learning, a longitudinal and in-depth analysis of the language learning processes is required in future studies.

The study investigated if teaching summarizing skills could improve the summary skills of Korean EFL university students. This study involved 38 university freshmen in a required English course and were randomly chosen as the control and experimental groups. The experimental group was taught through summarizing rules, while the control group was engaged in other lessons during the intervention period. The students’ summaries were analyzed as to how effectively the participants paraphrased and integrated the main ideas, the major supporting details, and accurate information from source text into their summaries. The results show that a significant instruction effect was observed in the summary writing performance of the experimental group, in identifying main ideas and major details and paraphrasing and integrating ideas, compared to the control group, which showed a significant change between the first and second summaries only on the accuracy measure. The results are also supported by the questionnaire on students’ perceptions of the instruction.

본 논문에서는 최근 가상환경을 통해 이용자간 실시간 상호작용이 용이한 것은 물론 온라인 콘텐츠도 쉽게 제공할 수 있는 메타버스(Metaverse) 플랫폼의 등장에 주목하고, 현재 교육 분야에 주로 활용되고 있는 주요 메타버스 플랫폼의 교육적 활용 상황 분석과 전문가 인터뷰 등을 통해 향후 사이버대학 교육에 활용하기 적합한 메타버스 기반의 교육 플랫폼을 제안한다. 본 연구를 통해 현재 교육 분야에 주로 활용되고 있는 주 요 메타버스 플랫폼의 경우에는 정규 학습관리 시스템을 지원하지 못하는 것이 가장 큰 한계로 분석되었으 며, 전문가 인터뷰를 통해서는 교수자 및 학습자 모두가 새로운 환경에 대한 거부감을 최소화하고 학습자들 의 지속적인 활용이 가능하도록 사용성 및 편의성 등이 고려되어 메타버스 기반의 원격 교육 플랫폼이 설 계가 이루어져야 할 것으로 도출되었다. 그밖에 AR/VR 등의 실험, 체험 중심의 학습기회 강화와 학습자들 간의 커뮤니케이션 및 협업 활동을 장려할 수 있는 기능이 확보될 경우 학습성과를 높일 수 있을 것으로 분석되었다. 분석된 요구사항 및 기능 제안 등을 토대로 본 연구에서는 기존의 사이버대학 원격 교육을 그 대로 지원하면서 메타버스 환경을 새롭게 지원하기 위한 사이트 뷰 관리 기능, 메타버스 관리 기능, AR/VR 콘텐츠 관리 기능 등이 추가된 메타버스 기반의 사이버대학 원격 교육 플랫폼 모델(MOEP4CU)을 제안한다.

This study investigated alterations in the health behaviors and eating habits due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID- 19) pandemic. An online survey was administered to 270 university students from September 22, 2021 to October 26, 2021. While the frequency of eating at home had increased during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to before the pandemic, there was a decrease in the frequency of eating out, drinking, and eating vegetables. However, the frequency of eating delivery, takeout, and convenience foods and the utilization of online shopping and delivery apps had considerably increased. In addition, when selecting menus, considerations of health, hygiene, and convenience were more important during the COVID-19 pandemic than before the COVID-19 pandemic. Physical activity more than 3 days a week had decreased, whereas sedentary time showed a proportionate increase. The percentage of people who perceived their health status to be worsening was determined to have increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. To prepare for the era of infectious diseases, future research needs to identify health behaviors and dietary problems by administering surveys that include a large sample size and participants of various ages. Moreover, health promotion and nutrition management plans should be prepared accordingly.

성인지 감수성을 비롯하여 인권 감수성이 강조되고 있다. 이러한 의식의 변화에 맞게 최근 대학 내 인권 업무를 전담하는 인권기구의 도입이 법제화되었다. 학내 인권센터의 설치 및 운영이 대학의 의무가 된 것이 다. 하지만 대학 인권센터가 법에 따른 형식에 그치지 않고 실질적인 인권 전담 기구로서의 역할을 다하기 위해서는 적절한 조건이 충족되어야 할 것이다. 먼저 객관적·중립적인 인권침해 사건 처리와 관련하여 조직 상의 독립성과 함께 운영상의 독립성을 확보하는 것이 무엇보다 필요하다. 나아가 조직이 신설되는 만큼 이에 대한 적절한 예산 지원과 인력의 충원 역시 적극적으로 검토되어야 한다. 또한 학내 다른 유사 기구, 대표적으로 양성평등상담소와의 관계를 재정립함으로써 업무의 중복과 분절의 문제가 발생하지 않도록 하는 것이 바람직하다. 현재 인권센터 설치·운영 의무의 불이행에 대한 벌칙 규정은 존재하지 않는다. 이러한 점에서 대학 인권센터 법제화의 실효성을 담보하기 위한 방안으로써 인권센터에 관한 사항을 국가 재정지원 사업의 평가 항목으로 편성하거나 대학 알리미 사이트의 공시 항목으로 지정하는 것을 검토해 볼 수 있다.

본 연구는 동물교감활동 프로그램을 시행하면서 대학생과 동물 간의 유대감을 형성시 킴으로써 우울과 스트레스를 감소 시키는 것에 목적으로 두었다. 본 연구는 대학생을 대 상으로 아론 벡의 우울척도, 스트레스 인지 검사, 빗속의 사람 그림검사 방법을 사용하여 동물교감활동 프로그램을 진행한 후 우울, 스트레스의 변화에 대해서 살펴보았다. 본 연 구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동물교감활동이 대학생의 우울감을 낮추는 데 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 동물교감활동이 대학생의 스트레스를 낮추는 데 유의한 효과를 보 였다. 본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 한 동물교감활동의 효과성을 검증함으로써 동물교감 활동의 연구에 기여한 것에 의의가 있다.
