In this study, we study the behavior of CFT subjected to pure bending moment considering the interface character between the materials. We assume that the interface between the materials has 2 cases, one is full-composite the other is non-composite. Through the analysis of the FEM results, we find that CFT’s flexure behavior is unique compared to other composite structures. There is almost similar CFT’s flexure behavior in the pure moment regardless of interface character between steel and concrete. This is because there is no difference in the neutral axis of the full-composite and non-composite in the CFT scetion.
Carbonate-type organic electrolytes were prepared using propylene carbonate (PC) and dimethyl carbonate (DMC) as a solvent, quaternary ammonium salts, and by adding different contents of 1-ethyl-3-methyl imidazolium tetrafluoroborate (EMImBF4). Cyclic voltammetry and linear sweep voltammetry were performed to analyze conducting behaviors. The surface characterizations were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy method and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. From the experimental results, increasing the EMImBF4 content increased the ionic conductivity and reduced bulk resistance and interfacial resistance. In particular, after adding 15 vol% EMImBF4 in 0.2 M SBPBF4 PC/DMC electrolyte, the organic electrolyte showed superior capacitance and interfacial resistance. However, when EMImBF4 content exceeded 15 vol%, the capacitance was saturated and the voltage range decreased.
Klotho (KL) is a single transmembrane protein composed of KL1 and KL2 repeats possessing β-glucuronidase activity and maintains calcium homeostasis in physiological state. It has been implicated in pigs that calcium is important for the establishment and maintenance of pregnancy, and our previous study has shown that transient receptor potential vanilloid type 6 (TRPV6), a calcium ion transporter, is predominantly expressed in the uterine endometrium during pregnancy in pigs. However, expression and function of KL in the uterine endometrium has not been determined in pigs. Thus, the present study determined expression and regulation of KL in the uterine endometrium during the estrous cycle and pregnancy in pigs. Real-time RT-PCR analysis showed that levels of KL mRNA decreased between Days 12 to 15 of the estrous cycle, and its expression showed a biphasic manner during pregnancy. KL mRNA was expressed in conceptuses and in chorioallantoic tissues during pregnancy. Explant culture study showed that expression levels of KL were not affected by treatment of steroid hormones or interleukin-1beta during the implantation period. Furthermore, levels of KL mRNA in the uterine endometrium from gilts carrying somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT)- derived embryos were significantly lower than those from gilts carrying natural mating-derived embryos on Day 12 of pregnancy. These results exhibited that KL was expressed at the maternal-conceptus interface in a pregnancy statusand stage-specific manner, and its expression was affected by SCNT procedure, suggesting that KL may play an important role in the establishment and maintenance of pregnancy in pigs.
온라인 쇼핑을 이용하는 사람들의 수는 시간이 지날수록 기하급수적으로 증가하고 있다. 그 중에서도 오픈마 켓은 가장 각광받고 있는 온라인 시장이다. 현재 오픈마켓은 너무 많은 상품들로 인해 고객들이 원하는 상품을 찾을 때 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 오픈마켓은 효율적인 상품을 제공할 수 있도록 인터페이스를 개선해 야 한다. 본 연구는 국내 오픈마켓 주요 4사의 메인 화면을 기준으로 웹 인터페이스를 분석하였고, 분석요인에 대한 만족도 평가를 진행하였다. 분석결과, 고객들이 어떠한 요인을 선호하는지에 대해서 알 수 있었으며, 설문 응답자로부터 가장 높은 만족도를 얻은 오픈마켓과 응답자들의 선호 요인이 인과관계를 가짐을 확인하였다.
Recently, the technology for smart phones has shown a quantum leap so the market share of mobile games is gradually increasing. User Interface(UI) is a crucial factor in the success of a mobile game. Thus, the mobile game UI evaluation is undoubtedly important. Currently, survey and heuristic evaluation methods are widely used in terms of evaluation. However, these methods have not been proven to show the user experiences. This study suggests a new method using ‘eye tracking’ technology which focuses on where on the mobile screen the user concentrates the most, where the user shows the most interest and how the user’s eyes move on the screen. Experiments have been conducted to verify the availability of eye tracking technology along with the differences between the traditional methods and the eye tracking method.
A kind of field bus called Actuator and Sensor interface bus(AS-i) was designed in this paper. The configuration of AS-i network system used Application Specific Integrated Circuit(ASIC) SAP5S chip and PLC S7-200 station, which included CPU 224 and AS-i master module CP 243-2. We also created an example program for PLC S7-200 to control AS-i network. The fire and smoke detection system was made with AS-i network system that was designed. This system had got more advantages than other system such as number of stations, easy installation, wide working area, etc. And designed system can be used as a partner network for higher level field bus networks.
In this paper, the wave run-up height and depression depth around air-water interface-piercing circular cylinder have been numerically studied. The Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations (RANS) and continuity equations are solved with Reynolds Stress model (RSM) and volume of fluid (VOF) method as turbulence model and free surface modeling, respectively. A commercial Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software “Star-CCM+” has been used for the current simulations. Various Froude numbers ranged from 0.2 to 1.6 are used to investigate the change of air-water interface structures around the cylinder and experimental data and theoretical values by Bernoulli are compared. The present results showed a good agreement with other studies. Kelvin waves behind the cylinder were generated and its wave lengths are longer as Froude numbers increase and they have good agreement with theoretical values. And its angles are smaller with the increase of Froude numbers.
As a macroscopic research for the interface of MMORPG(Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) in Korea, I have analyzed the introduction background & mutual characteristic of each interface according to the development shifts of MMORPG. The MMORPG of Korea, in the mid-1990s, was started while taking a foreign MUD (Multi User Dungeon) games, which used 'Text Interface' based on the keyboard. When Information and communication infrastructure was expanded in earnest in the late 1990s, Computer games interface was rapidly changed to GUI(Graphic User Interface) based on 2D graphic from text-based UI. So, Games of this period used the 'Point & Click Interface' that uses the mouse only to move character and carry out combat. Since graphic technology was changed to 3D in the middle of 2000's, The interface of MMOGPG for three-dimensional representation was naturally changed to 'keyboard control Interface' which used both mouse and keyboard. Recently, 'Action Control Interface' that was hardly used to MMORPG was appeared due to progress of game programming technology. And 'Diversity of play pattern' & 'Non-targeting' are attributes of 'Action Control Interface', which is differentiated with other interfaces.
The purpose of this study is to conduct basic research on development of game interface for the elderly by verifying the difference in user experience based on the type of interface. The methodology of playtest combining experimental research and survey was applied with subjects of elderly users consisting of 47 men and 48 women being ages 60 and up. The effects of user experience between natural user interface and the pad-type interface were compared and analyzed through repeated measure MANOVA in terms of emotional response, ease of use and flow. The NUI game showed higher emotional responses such as pleasure and dominance. On the other hand, there was no difference in arousal. The NUI game also presented higher ease of use in the process of game play and it also had higher autotelic experience, action-awareness merging, sense of control and ambiguous feedback experience. These results may contribute to the development of serious game and natural user interface for the elderly by empirically identifying the effects of user experience on NUI.
This study employed the eye-tracking method to investigate the nature of game players' visual attention on the game's GUI(graphic user interface) elements during game play. The genre of the game (shooting and driving games), the points of view of the game (1st person vs. 3rd person POV), and the game player's proficiency were taken into account to examine their effects on the game player's visual attention. A within-between subject experimental study was conducted (N=26). The results illustrate that the game genre was not a meaningful predictor for neither the frequency or the total duration of visual element per interface element. The point of view had a significant main effect on the game player's frequent change of their eye movement across different elements. The proficiency of game player's gaming skill significantly altered the game player's frequency and duration of visual attention. Proficient gamers were more efficient in distributing their visual attention across various elements of the GUI.
A methodology to evaluate the seismic performance of interface piping systems that cross the isolation interface in the seismically isolated nuclear power plant (NPP) was developed. The developed methodology was applied to the safety-related interface piping system to demonstrate the seismic performance of the target piping system. Not only the seismic performance for the design level earthquakes but also the performance for the beyond design level earthquakes were evaluated. Two artificial seismic ground input motions which were matched to the design response spectra and two historical earthquake ground motions were used for the seismic analysis of piping system. The preliminary performance evaluation results show that the excessive relative displacements can occur in the seismically isolated piping system. If the input ground motion contained relatively high energy in the low frequency region, we could find that the stress response of the piping system exceed the allowable stress level even though the intensity of the input ground motion is equal to the design level earthquake. The structural responses and seismic performances of piping system were varied sensitively with respect to the intensities and frequency contents of input ground motions. Therefore, for the application of isolation system to NPPs and the verification of the safety of piping system, the seismic performance of the piping system subjected to the earthquake at the target NPP site should be evaluated firstly.
Britsh StandardBS 7991)에 명시된 DCB 시험편을 본 연구에 맞게 수정 후 두께 25mm, 35mm, 45mm, 55mm, 그리고 65mm의 DCB시험편을 제작하였다. 이 후 시험편을 Single-lap 방식으로 접착한 후 정적실험에서 도출된 최대 전단력을 각 시험편에 10Hz로 피로하중을 가하였다. 실험 결과값에 대한 수치해석적 검증을 하고자 상용 해석 프로그램인 ANSYS를 통해 실험과 동일한 시험편과 조건 하에 해석을 수행하였다. 접착력 해석을 하기 위해서 Mesh의 절점(node)들의 관계가 매우 중요하기 때문에 접착된 부분의 모든 절점들은 동일 선상에 있게 Mesh를 형성하였다. 실험 결과와 해석 결과를 비교해 본 결과 피로하중이 약 200cycle 반복되었을 때 최대 등가응력이 발생 하였고, 이때 전단방향으로 변위가 약 11mm 진전 된 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이후 4000cycle가량 피로하중이 반복 될 동안 변위는 일정하게 점점 증가한 후 피로하중이 약 4800cycle 반복 되었을 때 실험과 해석 데이터 모두 접착계면에서 완전한 전단 파괴가 일어난 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이때 변위는 약 20mm 진행 되었다. 해석을 통해 실험 데이터를 검증해 본 결과 두 결과 값은 완전 하게 같지는 않지만 유한요소법 해석 결과에 대한 신뢰를 확보 할 수 있었다. 이는 실제 구조물에 실험 없이 간단한 재료 물성치만으로도 해석을 통하여 구조적 안전성을 알아 볼 수 있는 한 방법이 될 수 있을 것이라고 사료된다.
BCI is called BMI (brain-machine interface) sometimes. It is the interface which controls things with human consciousness. In this paper, we look into several of the headset protocol, and we proposed unified protocol with medical standard MFER (Medical Waveform Format Encording Rules) through the analysis of the protocol. And to prove the excellence of the proposed protocol as a case study, we demonstrate embedded control car so as to; (1) prevent overlapped investment on new BCI input interface development, and (2) help to create BCI-related functional game easily, (3) realize variety services through the each equipment compatibility.
In this study, the effect of interface friction coefficient about interfacial crack of bimaterials are discussed. The fracture parameters are analyzed by finite element method using ANSYS. With increasing the interface friction coefficient, normal crack opening displacements and normal stress distributions are analyzed. In this case with surface contact in interface crack, the energy release rates decreases with interface friction coefficient increasing. Increase in the friction coefficient of the crack surface are tend to suppressing for the initiation of interfacial crack. In this case with surface non-contact, the energy release rates are constant with interface friction coefficient increasing, and so the friction coefficient are not related with the fracture parameter.
전도성 고분자 PFO(Polyfluorene)에 양전극 ITO와 음전극으로 AI 를 추가한 단순한 양극성 구조의 ITO/PFO/Al 소자를 제작하였다. PFO에 BaTIO₃나노세라믹스 분말을 중량비로 0wt%, 10wt%, 20wt% 와 30wt% 로 달리한 4종류의 시편에 만들고, Keithley 사의 2400 Sourcemeter를 이용하여 0V에서 21V까지 DC전압을 인가하면서 소자에 흐르는 전류량을 관찰하였다. 수 나노 크기의 BaTIO₃분말의 첨가는 PFO/AI 계면에서의 전위장벽을 감소시켜 Fowler-Nordheim Tunneling이 시작되는 전압이 BaTIO₃가 첨가되지 않은 시편의 경우에 비하여 7V에서 최대 10V가 낮아진 결과를 얻었다. 소자에 흐르는 최대 전류값은 인가 전압 DC21V일 때 BaTIO₃첨가량에 비례하여 4배에서 5.5배까지 증가하였다. BaTIO₃의 첨가효과는 20wt% 이상 첨가된 경우 효과가 포화되기 시작하여, 30wt%의 BaTIO₃를 첨가한 시편의 전류량은 오히려 감소하였고 전류주입도 어려워지는 상반된 결과를 얻었다. 이것은 첨가한 나노 분말의 표면전하가 만드는 미세전계의 영향이 인접한 거리에서 서로 중첩되어 전류의 흐름이 오히려 감소하는 결과를 보인 것을 판단된다. 이로서 강유전체가 첨가된 전도성 고분자/금속 계면의 I-V 특성은 나노 세라믹스 분말의 표면전하가 만드는 국소미세전계의 영향을 받아 Trap Charge Limited Current 모델에 부합하는 결과를 가짐을 알 수 있었다.
공정제어시스템과 같은 복잡한 시스템을 감시하고 제어하기 위한 정보 디스플레이를 설계하기 위해 두 가지의 세부적인 설계문제를 효과적으로 다루어야 한다. 정보디스플레이에서 표현할 정보의 내용을 파악하고 조직화하는 문제와 그 표현할 정보를 시각적으로 잘 표현하는 문제로 구분이 된다. Ecological Interface Design (EID)는 두 문제를 다루기 위한 이론적 배경지식과 방법을 제공하는 정보디스플레이 설계의 틀이다. EID는 1990년대 초반에
본 연구는 실물형 인터페이스 개념과 특징을 설명하고 있는 선행연구를 대상으로 실물형 인터페이스디자인에 대한 특성을 토출하여 이를 토대로 실물형 인터페이스 디자인 가이드라인을 제안하였다. 도출된 인터페이스 디자인 가이드 라인의 특성은 물리적 조작성, 기기의 용이성 및 편리성, 지각적 표현성, 상황인지 및 공간성, 그리고 사회적 상호작용으로 구분되었으며 25개의 세부항목이 추출되었다. 개발된 가이드라인은 사용자와의 상호작용 측면이 강조된 것으로 이를 실제공간의 체험형 전시물들에 적용하여 평가함으로써 현 실물형 인터페이스 디자인의 특성을 분석하였다. 조사대상으로 선정된 국립과학 박물관의 전시 설치물들 중 실물형 인터페이스 평가가 가능하다고 판단되는 15개의 설치물을 대상으로 개발된 디자인 가이드 라인에 따라 전문가 평가를 하였다. 평가결과 신체모션을 이용한 인터페이스에 대한 점수가 가장 높았으며 이들은 상황인지 및 공간성 영역에서 높은 평가를 받았다. 상황인지 및 공간성은 새로이 확장된 실물형 인터페이스 특성으로 최근 그 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 분석 결과 대부분의 설치물들은 버튼과 조이스틱 위주의 물리적 조작성을 제공하는 설치물이 가장 많았으나 향후 시각, 청각, 촉각 등의 다감각 인터페이스나 사용자가 직접 설치장치들을 재배열하는 인터렉션 개발 등이 필요하였다. 본 연구는 실물형 인터페이스 디자인을 평가할 수 있는 기준을 제시하였다는데 그 의의가 있으며 실물형 인터페이스디자인이 적용된 전시 설치물들이 개발되고 적용됨에 있어 발전 방향을 모색하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 기대한다. 향후 개발된 실물형 인터페이스 디자인 가이드 라인에 따라 전문가 평가뿐만 아니라 실제 사용자들을 대상으로 하는 사용자 경험 평가가 병행되어야 할 것이다.
지속적인 양식활동과 어장환경 보호를 위해서는 연안해역과 양식어종마다 각기 다른 연안생태계의 물질순환에 대한 연구가 필요하며, 양식장아래 퇴적물-수층 경계면의 침강 용출 플럭스에 관한 정확한 산정이 중요하다. 이에 관한 연구방법 중 벤틱 챔버를 이용한 현장배양법과 코아 채니를 이용한 실내배양실험법으로 퇴적물 산소요구량과 용존무기질소 용출 플럭스를 비교하여 보았다. 통영 어류 가두리양식장, 여수 어류 가두리양식장, 완도 전복양식장에 대하여, 퇴적물 산소요구량을 측정하여본 결과, 현장배양법은 116, 34, 31 mmol O2 m-2 d-1, 실내배양법은 52, 17, 15 mmol O2 m-2 d-1이었고, 용존무기질소 용출 플럭스의 경우, 현장배양법은 7.18, 7.98, 1.78 mmol m-2 d-1, 실내배양법은 3.33, 3.74, 1.96 mmol m-2 d-1로, 현장배양법이 실내배양법보다 약 2배 높게 나타났다. 본 연구는 각 양식장에 따른 물질 플럭스를 살펴봄으로서, 양식장아래 퇴적물-수층 경계면에 대한 두 가지 물질수지 계산 방법의 특성을 비교하였다.
The process of embryo implantation requires physical contact and physiological communication between the conceptus trophectoderm and the maternal uterine endometrium. During the peri-implantation period in pigs, the conceptus undergoes significant morphological changes and secretes estrogens, the signal for maternal recognition of pregnancy. Estrogens secreted from the conceptus act on uterine epithelia to redirect , luteolysin, secretion from the uterine vasculature to the uterine lumen to prevent luteolysis as well as to induce expression of endometrial genes that support implantation and conceptus development. In addition, conceptuses secrete cytokines, interferons, growth factors, and proteases, and in response to these signals, the uterine endometrium produces hormones, protease inhibitors, growth factors, transport proteins, adhesion molecules, lipid molecules, and calcium regulatory molecules. Coordinated interactions of these factors derived from the conceptus and the uterus play important roles in the process of implantation in pigs. To better understand mechanism of implantation process in pigs, this review provides information on signaling molecules at the conceptus-uterine interface during early pregnancy, including recently reported data reported.
인터넷 통신의 보편화에 따라 멀티미디어 관련 콘텐츠 서비스가 이루어지고 있으며, 이러한 서비스는 교육용 학습 콘텐츠 및 시스템 분야로 확장되고 있다. 고급화된 멀티미디어 학습 시스템을 지원하기 위해 3D 그래픽스 기반의 학습 서비스 시스템이 개발되고 있지만 대부분의 시스템이 마우스와 키보드와 같은 컨트롤 기반의 콘텐츠를 가지고 있어 현실감이 떨어지는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 Kinect를 이용하여 사용자 손 영역을 추출하고, 추출된 사용자 손영역에서 손 제스처를 인식하여 가상공간에서 전자교과서를 선택하고, 열고, 페이지를 넘기는 시스템을 소개한다.
