국립원예특작과학원에서 2011년 거베라 신품종 ‘Pink Melody’를 육성하였다. ‘Pink Melody’는 2007년 10월부터 2007년 12월까지 분홍색 반겹꽃 ‘Eta’와 ‘Pascal’을 교배하여 획득한 97개체의 실생계통으로부터 2008년부터 2011년까지 4년 동안의 개화 및 생육특성검정을 거쳐 선발된 절화용 대륜 거베라 품종이다. ‘Pink Melody’는 초세강건한 녹색화심의 파스텔톤 분홍색(RHS R55D) 반겹꽃 대륜계 품종이다. 꽃은 평균 직경이 11.4±0.9cm이고, 내부설상화와 화반의 직경은 각각 7.3±0.8cm와 2.6±0.5cm, 외부 설상화의 길이와 폭은 각각 5.3±0.4cm와 1.0±0.1cm로 꽃잎이 비교적 좁고 긴 도란형이다. 꽃대는 꽃목직경이 상부 4.2±0.4mm, 중부 6.4±0.8mm 정도로 강건하며, 꽃대의 길이는 45.2±5.5cm이다. 절화수명은 10.8±1.6일로 대조품종 ‘Pascal’보다 약 1.5일이 길며, 연간 채화량은 52.9±4.3본/주로 대조품종보다 5.0본/주 많은 다수성 품종이다.

The annoyance potential for odor sources can be evaluated by separation distances. A separation distance between a standard pig farm and a residential area was investigated by the AERMOD model. The studied area comprised four sites in Korea. The study sites were Paju, Yangpyeong, Suwon, and Icheon, respectively. The separation distances criteria of the three reference Odor Impact Criteria (OIC) were used to evaluate the separation distance. Results show that separation distances for the four sites were calculated 20 m from the fence in the existing pig farm criteria case [exceedance probability P (%) = 2.0% and concentration = 6 OU] in Ireland. In the case of the new pig farm criteria [(exceedance probability P (%) = 2.0% and concentration = 3 OU) of Ireland, results show that the separation distances of the four locations were between 120 m and 145 m from the fence. These values were about 3.0~4.5 times larger than those of the existing pig farm criteria case. In the case of a concentration of 1 OU and the exceedance probability P (%) of a 2.0% criteria, the separation distances of the four sites ranged from 250 m to 290 m.

The biggest impact on the cladding design of buildings is wind loads. Wind tunnel tests were conducted to examine the applicability of current wind load standards about membrane retractable roof spatial structure. A dome model with a circular shape that is retractable to the center of the dome was made (Opening ratio = 0, 10, 30, 50). In addition, height adjustable turntables were made and tested with five patterns with H/D = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5. The maximum wind pressure coefficient and the minimum wind pressure coefficient for the cladding were analyzed and the experimental wind pressure coefficient were compared with the current wind load standards, KBC2016 and AIJ-RLB(2015). The experimental value and the reference value of the enclosed roof were very similar and showed possibility of application, but opened roof case was found that the reference value was underestimated.

스탠다드국화 신품종을 육성하기 위하여 충남농업기술원 화훼연구소에서 2009년에 황색의 모본 ‘Summer Yellow’와 부본 ‘ST07-09-02’계통을 인공 교배하였다. 2010년에 종자를 파종하였고, 이중 내병성이 강하고 기호성이 우수한 개체를 선발하여 ‘ST10-047-01’로 계통명을 부여하였다. 2011년부터 2013년까지 주년 생산성을 위해 촉성 및 자연, 억제재배 특성을 각각 검정하였으며, 2013년 ‘Geumhwa’로 명명하고 품종등록 출원하였다. ‘Geumhwa’의 생육 및 개화특성은 국내에서 많이 재배되고 있는 황색 스탠다드국화인 ‘Summer Yellow’를 대조 품종으로 하여 조사하였다. ‘Geumhwa’ 품종은 자연개화기가 10월 6일로 ‘Summer Yellow’의 10월 25일에 비해 빨랐다. ‘Geumhwa’는 초장이 86.3cm로 ‘Summer Yellow’의 93.8cm보다 작았고, 곁가지 제거수는 8.1개로 ‘Summer Yellow’의 16.6개보다 적었다. ‘Geumhwa’의 꽃직경은 13.6cm로 ‘Summer Yellow’의 13.5cm와 비슷하였으며, 꽃잎수는 ‘Geumhwa’가 263.6개로 ‘Summer Yellow’의 295.3개보다 적었다. 재배상 유의사항은 ‘Geumhwa’는 중간종이므로 초기생육이 왕성하도록 비배 관리를 하고 생육기간 중 지베렐린 1,000mg･L-1를 2회 처리하여 신장력을 높이도록 한다. 또한 설상화수가 적은 편이므로 재전조를 실시하여 설상화수를 늘린다면 황색의 연중 조기개화가 가능한 고품질 신품종 스탠다드 절화국화로써 소비자 기호 충족 및 농가소득 창출에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

본 연구는 체성숙이 완료된 15개월령 이상의 한우 암소로부터 초음파 측정 장치를 활용하여 조사된 등지방두께(UBF), 배장근단면적(UEMA), 근내지방도(UMS)의 형질들에 대한 유전능력을 추정하기 위한 통계분석방법을 도출하기 위한 연구로써 신체충실지수 및 월령에 대한 사전 보정의 효율성을 알아보고 유전평가를 위한 형질별 유전모수를 추정함으로써 유전능력 추정의 효율성을 향상하기 위한 방안을 도 출하고자 실시하였다. 분석에 이용된 자료는 2001년부터 전국의 1,004농가에서 사육중인 15개월령 이 상의 한우 암소 38,663두로부터 조사된 초음파 측정 육질관련 형질들에 대하여 조사된 자료를 이용하였다. 흉위 및 도축형질들에 대한 성장곡선함수식을 추정하기 위하여 농가-년-월(HYM) 및 신체충실지 수(BCS)에 대한 통계모형식을 통하여 사전보정을 실시하고 Von Bertalanfy함수식을 이용한 비선형 성장곡선 함수식을 추정하였다. 또한 도축형질들에 대하여 개체별로 조사된 관측치는 성장곡선 함수식에 대한 편차로 자료변환한 후에 유전모수를 추정한 결과, 각 형질별 유전력은 UBF에서 0.29, UEMA는 0.56 및 UMS에서 0.49의 추정치를 보였다.

It is well known fact that the filed asphalt mixture is aged in the truck while hauling and queuing for one to four hours before dumping to the hopper of the paver. This aging, which is called short-term aging (STA), affect the physical and mechanical properties of asphalt mixture. For example, the maximum theoretical density of mixture is changed before and after STA. Therefore, when the asphalt mixture specimen is prepared for testing various physical and mechanical properties in laboratory, the mixture should be STA conditioned by a most-likely STA condition of the field. This is the reason why the STA should be performed properly. This study initiated to investigate STA conditioning protocols, set forth many agencies in the world, and to suggest a proper STA protocol which simulates field HMA condition as most likely as possible. According to this study, it was suggested that the blended loose mix for one specimen poured in a canister should be kept in a drying oven (no forced draft) without cap at 163±2℃ and for 70±15 min for normal HMA mix. This protocol was suggested based on that the absolute viscosity level of the recovered binder after STA should be a similar level of the same binder after a standard RTFO run.

On November 15, 2017, Pohang earthquake occurred. Its local magnitude was announced to be ML=5.4 by Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA). Ground motion data recorded at KMA stations were obtained from their data bases. From the data, horizontal and vertical response spectra, and V/H ratio were calculated. The horizontal spectra were defined as GMRotI50 spectra. From the statistical analysis of the GMRotI50 spectra, a mean plus one standard deviation spectrum in lognormal distribution is obtained. Regression analysis is performed on this curve to determine the shape of spectrum including transition periods. Applying the same procedure, the shape and transition periods of vertical spectrum were obtained. These results were compared with the Korean standard design spectra, which were developed from domestic and overseas intra-plate earthquake records, and Gyeongju earthquake response spectra. The response spectra of Pohang earthquake were found to be almost identical with the newly proposed design spectra. Even the V/H ratios showed good agreement. These results confirmed that the method adopted when developing the standard design spectra were valid and the developed design spectra were reliable.

A finite element impact simulation study was performed to assess structural performances of a guard-rail system for roadside using new steel materials (SS275) in the KS standard. The type SS275 shows an enhanced tensile strength in comparison with the former type SS400. Subsequent simulation results present that the improved model performs much better in containing and redirecting the impacting vehicle in a stable manner. The numerical results for various parameters are verified by comparing different models with dynamic responses determined in the barrier from the crash simulation.

In this study, we develop and propose damping correction factors for the Korean standard design spectra. The newly proposed Korean standard design spectra has been given only for 5% damping ratio. But in practice, engineers need design spectra for damping values other than 5%. To obtain design spectra for various damping values from the standard spectra, damping correction factors are derived. These factors modify the shape of design spectra in accordance with the damping ratio. Response spectra for various damping values are calculated from the earthquake records that had been used to calculate standard design spectra. They consist of 55 records from 18 earthquakes occurred in overseas intraplate regions and Korea. The regressed spectra for the damping values ranging from 0.5% to 50% are compared with standard spectra at three regions acceleration, velocity and displacement sensitive regions. The regression analysis of these data rendered formula for damping correction factors. Finally, a single formula for damping correction factors is recommended that is valid for both horizontal and vertical design spectra and that is applicable to the entire range of periods. One thing to note that recommended damping correction factors is valid for the design spectrum of the rock grounds because the design spectra was developed based on the earthquake records of the rock ground.

This study is based on the results of the 7th Korea Human Size Survey (Size Korea). The standard body shapes of Korean women between 25 and 34 years old were analyzed and used to develop a prototype princess line for wedding dresses. or this purpose I conducted a literature review and a survey of the actual situation of domestic ligaments. In order to select suitable ligaments for the standard body type of 25~34 year-old Korean women, I collected the most representative ligaments from around the world: Stock man from France, Superior from the USA, KIIYA from Japan, and Pig and Nonno from Korea. They were then compared and analyzed. In the form of a formal wedding dress, a prototype princess line was developed by a draping technique in order to finely implement the human body fitting. To develop the prototype of the princess line, I made test garments with muslin. 25 to 34 years old Korean female standard body type Three human subjects close to the average measurement value were selected as subjects. An exterior appearance evaluation questionnaire was created with 28 questions focusing on the main parts of the prototype princess line. The clothes were evaluated three times. In this study, aesthetic and functional elements were considered for the development of princess line prototypes for wedding dresses. In addition, the amount of spare area was given differently. This study is significant in the achievement of a dress line closest that closely matches the human body line of the standard Korean female body type.

장미는 품종보호대상작물로 신품종에 대한 지적 재산권이 인 정돼 외국품종에 대하여 로열티 지불이 많고 소비자 기호가 빠 르게 바뀌어 품종갱신 연한이 4~5년으로 묘종구입 비용이 꾸준 히 증가하여 외국품종에 대응할 화색, 화형, 수량, 절화수명, 절화장 등을 고려한 국내육성 우수품종 개발이 필요하다. 따라 서 2011년도에 화형이 크고 우수한 흰색의 스탠다드 ‘White Sapir’ 품종인 모본과 꽃이 크고 절화장이 우수한 핑크색 스탠다 드 ‘Peach Coat’ 품종을 부본으로 인공교배하여 2012년에 11개 체의 실생을 획득하여 이들을 대상으로 2013~2015년까지 3차에 거쳐 특성검정을 실시한 후 최종 선발 된 ‘원교 D1-271’을 ‘Sugar Ball’로 명명하였다. ‘Sugar Ball’의 화색은 세먼핑크로 RHS 칼라 차트번호 49B이며 화형은 고심형으로 꽃잎수는 28.3개로써 ‘Nobless’의 50.7개보다 적었으며, 화폭은 8.4cm로 ‘Nobless’보 다 약간 작았다. 평방미터당 연간 절화수량은 122본으로 ‘Nobless’보다 14본정도 많았으며, 절화장은 84.6cm 절화경경은 6.3mm로 ‘Nobless’와 비교해 우수하였다. 또한 절화수명은 15.0 일로 ‘Nobless’보다 우수하였으며, 기호도 평가에서도 ‘Nobless’ 보다 우수한 경향을 나타내었다.

Offshore plants should be managed at a high level of safety condition. Because the offshore plant has cramped space and has difficult access when a fire occurred, a fire can be critical to the plants. LED lighting can reduce the risk of fire by its lower energy consume suitable to intrinsic safety and lower heat radiation that can reduce the possibility of ignition. Also LED has a long lifetime. Though LED luminaire has various advantages for offshore plants, an international standard for the luminaire has not provided because it is new technology. Because there is no international and domestic standard specially provided for the LED luminaire, a guideline is required for developing the LED light and for the future establishment of an international standard. This study was conducted to develop the guideline for LED luminaire for offshore plants. Firstly, relevant standards were analyzed for the guideline. Then we found that there are editorial differences between international standards and domestic standards. So the guideline was developed based on international version and the differences between the domestic and international standard were provided to let Korean developers recognize the differences.

Applying the same procedure, the shape and transition periods of vertical spectrum was obtained. These results were compared with the Korean standard design spectra, which were developed from domestic and overseas intraplate earthquake records.
