Micro-enterprises lacking explicit intellectual property and audited financial statements have been structurally marginalized in traditional capital market valuation frameworks due to severe information asymmetry. To resolve this structural market failure and econometrically estimate their intrinsic value, this study proposes an integrated valuation framework (S-PACE 1.0) based on multidimensional alternative data. Going beyond conventional GIS and NLP reputation indices, the model incorporates novel metrics—the Operation Continuity Index combining electricity usage and mutual-aid contribution payments, the Digital Management Index based on app traffic, and the Human Capital Stability Index controlling for turnover rates—to convert ‘soft competitiveness’ into financial goodwill. A simulation using a Simulated Empirical Dataset demonstrated a valuation increase from 70 million KRW under conventional collateral models to 220 million KRW, and the model’s predictive robustness was verified through Propensity Score Matching (PSM). This study redefines micro-enterprises as proactive investment assets and provides an empirical rationale for innovative inclusive finance that encompasses dynamic resilience against macroeconomic shocks.
In modern mechanical design environments, frequent design changes make maintaining consistency between CAD data and BOM(Bill of Materials) a significant challenge. In Excel-based BOM management environments, designers often need to manually update 3D assembly models and 2D drawings whenever component information changes, leading to human errors and increased design lead time. This study proposes a reverse data synchronization automation system integrating the CATIA Automation API with Excel macros. When a BOM is modified, the system automatically detects and applies the changes. Using the NewFrom method and a recursive traversal algorithm, the assembly structure can be safely regenerated without reference-link breakage. Experimental results using an assembly model with 72 sub-components showed that the time required for design modification and drawing updates was reduced from approximately 60 minutes to under 2 minutes, achieving about 97% time savings. In addition, the system prevented title block input errors and reference-link failures, ensuring data integrity. The proposed framework provides a practical and cost-effective alternative for implementing a Digital Thread environment without expensive PLM(Product Lifecycle Management) systems.

This study develops a design-data-based lifecycle greenhouse gas emission assessment framework for jointed concrete pavement highways in Korea. The framework considers road pavements as a long-life infrastructure system that includes material production, transport, construction, maintenance, end-of-life treatment, and recycling benefits beyond the system boundary. A functional unit comprising 1 km of jointed concrete pavement was defined, and 16 datasets were constructed from highway concrete pavement projects using bills of quantities, material summary sheets, and geometric information. A key feature of this framework is the incorporation of project-specific maintenance scenarios. The mainline and tunnel sections were separately evaluated and weighted based on their actual length ratios. The numbers of milling and overlay applications were estimated using the slab thickness and traffic volume from the design data. After each overlay, the cumulative ESALs and crack progression were recalculated from the overlay year to determine the subsequent overlay timing, instead of applying a fixed maintenance cycle. The application of the framework yielded an average lifecycle GHG emission of 1,294 t CO₂eq./km, with a standard deviation of 284 t CO₂eq./km. The proposed framework provides a basis for a consistent lifecycle GHG assessment and design-stage environmental evaluation of concrete pavement highways.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the California Department of Motor Vehicles (CA DMV) collect and utilize data from traffic accidents caused by Automated Driving Systems (ADS) driving on real roads, as a policy. Leading autonomous driving technology companies such as Tesla and Waymo collect their own driving and accident data and use them for technology advancement. ADS traffic accident data that occur when driving on real roads are valuable for identifying problems in unexpected situations. This study analyzes the risk of traffic accidents by Operational Design Domain (ODD) on ADS traffic accident data that occurred while driving on an actual road and aims to present a road traffic law-based driving ability evaluation scenario in a complex ODD configuration in high-risk situations, wherein an ADS can be particularly vulnerable in mixed traffic situations. The actual road traffic accident data of ADS from 2,289 accidents as provided by the NHTSA were analyzed. Analysis of the characteristics of ADS traffic accidents revealed that accidents occurred mainly on ordinary ODDs with high traffic demand during actual road driving, that is, on dry roads during clear days and daylight. In traffic situations including ADS and Human Driving Vehicle(HDV), approximately 40% of traffic accidents were confirmed to have occurred because of HDV colliding with stationary ADS and occurred in unexpected situations, such as changing the HDV when driving straight ahead of the ADS. Results of analyzing the risk of traffic accidents on the driving status of ADS by ODD, showed that the risk of traffic accidents that occurred while the ADS was driving straight ahead was 2.27, with dry road conditions, sunny weather, and a road speed limit of 21 to 30 mph at night when streetlights were turned on. Thus, the ADS road traffic law-based driving ability evaluation scenario can be used to evaluate whether to recognize and respond to accident risk situations by developing ADS road traffic law-based driving ability evaluation scenarios for situations vulnerable to accidents due to HDV cut-in in traffic situations that include ADS and HDV. In future, this can be used as basic data for preparing related regulations and institutional devices, such as traffic accident investigations and driving ability evaluations by ADS.
Carbon nanotube (CNT) has promising applications in several fields due to their excellent thermal, electrical, mechanical, and biocompatible properties. However, the complexity of its structure leads to the problems of computationally intensive and inefficient synthetic characterization optimization and prediction by traditional research methods, which seriously restricts the development process. Machine learning (ML), as an emerging technology, has been widely used in CNT research due to its ability to reduce computational cost, shorten the development cycle, and improve the accuracy. ML not only optimizes the synthetic control parameters for precise structural control, but also combines various imaging and spectroscopic techniques to significantly improve the accuracy and efficiency of characterization. In addition, ML helps to improve the performance of CNT devices at the optimization and prediction levels, and achieve accurate performance prediction. However, ML in CNT research still faces challenges such as algorithmic processing of complex data situations, insufficient space for algorithmic combined optimization, and lack of model interpretability. Future research can focus on developing more efficient ML algorithms and unified standardized databases, exploring the deep integration of different algorithms, further improving the performance of ML in CNT research, and promoting its application in more fields.

In order support the design support system of small and medium-sized shipbuilding companies that carry out designs using 2D CAD, this study developed a system that automatically calculates the cable length by extracting the Y-axis value expressed as text data in 2D CAD. By setting the equipment where the cable starts and ends, the essential route and the installation rate were checked so that the optimal route of the cable could be calculated. As a result, the value calculated based on the optimal route and length of the cable by extracting the data of 2D CAD through this study was the same as the value previously calculated by the actual user, and the installation rate was less than 130% so there was no problem with the on-site installation. In addition, it was confirmed that the cable length calculated through this was reduced by about 7% compared to the existing work.
The purpose of this study was to incorporate Pakistan's climatic conditions into the road design process by performing a cluster analysis using collected climate data. Monthly time-series data for six climate variables—altitude, sea level, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, vapor pressure, and precipitation—were used to cluster 24 locations. Missing values were imputed using the Kalman filter, and hierarchical and k-medoid clustering analyses were performed based on the dynamic time warping (DTW) distance. By evaluating two to five clusters using six validity indices, the optimal number of clusters was determined to be two. the optimal two-cluster classification results were confirmed to be consistent between the two methods. When the clustering results were visualized on a map of Pakistan alongside the data, the clusters were divided into areas with relatively high and low altitudes. By classifying the regions of Pakistan into two clusters using time-series data of climate variables, this study highlights the distinct characteristics of each cluster. These findings suggest that management strategies tailored to the characteristics of each cluster can be applied to various fields.
