기존 항만 건설 시 화물차 전용 주차장이 고려되지 않았으며, 해양수산부의 ‘제2차 신항만건설기본계획(2019~2040)’에 따라 총 11 개의 새로운 항만이 건설될 예정이다. 따라서 화물차 전용 주차장 설계에 대한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 현재 항만에서는 화물차 전용 주차 공간 부족으로 불법 주차가 발생하고 있으며, 이로 인해 교통사고 위험이 증가하고 있다. 기존 연구에서는 전체 항만을 대상으로 한 분류 방법이 제안되었으나, 신설 항만 설계 시 과소 또는 과대 설계 문제를 초래한다. 따라서 본 연구는 부두별로 4대 요소(안벽 길이, 야적장 면적, 접안 능력, 하역 능력)를 기반으로 분류하며, DWT와 TEU 단위를 고려하여 데이터를 분석하였다. 14개 국가 관리 항만의 총 380 부두 데이터를 조사하고, 이를 통해 그룹핑 작업을 통해 정규화 곡선으로 평균 ± 표준편차를 기준으로 항만 전체 부두 에 대한 분류를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 향후 연구결과를 통해 검증 후 최종 분류방법을 결정하여 새로운 항만분류법을 제안하고, 제안 된 방법론의 분류검증을 실시할 예정이다.
The genus Acronicta Ochsenheimer, 1816 is known as a forest pest. The acronictine species is widely distributed across the Afrotropical, Oriental, Australian, and Neartic regions. This study presents a new record of an acronictine species from Korea, including descriptions, illustrations, and diagnostic characteristics. Additionally, the CO1 barcode data of the newly recorded species is compared with the global barcode reference at the species level. New data on the recently recorded species has been obtained from this study. This information will aid in the prompt identification and preparation for potential pest outbreaks.
Laurencia is a red algal genus that was described by J.V. Lamouroux in 1813. The main characteristics of this genus have been known as the presence of four pericentral cells in an axial segment, secondary pit connections between adjacent epidermal cells, and the presence of corps en cerise in both epidermal and trichoblast cells. Additionally, the tetrasporangia are arranged in a parallel manner, and male branches feature terminal cup-shaped spermatangial pits. Currently, sixteen Korean Laurencia species have been reported based on their morphological characteristics. In this study, Laurencia decussata and L. pacifica have been added as new records to the Korean algal flora based on a combination of morphological observations and molecular analyses of rbcL sequences. Laurencia decussata has expanded from Australia and New Zealand to Korea, while the distribution of L. pacifica has expanded from USA and Mexico to Korea.
A new annual dose evaluation system called E-DOSE has been developed. The system is based on the methodology of the previous version, K-DOSE60, which uses the dose evaluation methods of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP-60). However, E-DOSE is coded in ABAP to be compatible with the KHNP’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, SAP. This allows E-DOSE to use the real-time data from SAP, which minimizes the need for user intervention. The socio-environmental data, which was previously managed by the staff of each plant sites, can now managed in the system in a centralized manner. This is a significant improvement over the previous system, as it reduces the risk of errors and makes it easier to track and manage data. The system also automatically generates the reports required by regulations. EDOSE is expected to minimize the occurrence of human errors in preparing and managing the input data. This is because the system uses the data from SAP, which is less prone to errors than manually entered data. Additionally, the automatic generation of reports reduces the risk of errors in report preparation. E-DOSE is also expected to improve work efficiency. This is because the system automates many of the tasks involved in annual dose evaluation, such as data entry, calculation, and report generation. Overall, E-DOSE is a significant improvement over the previous annual dose evaluation system. It is more efficient, accurate, and user-friendly.
The first stage of the SMART-Navigation project was completed in 2020, and a new project that aims to develop smart AtoN (aids to navigation) has begun. If the location information of ships is continuously collected, processed and accumulated, it will be possible to identify the behavioral characteristics of each ship and to combine the characteristics of active ships at some point to provide various forms of predictive information. In this paper, we describe how current and traditional fishing areas are identified based on the location information of fishing boats and then introduce a new method for predicting fishing areas in advance using historical information of currently active fishing boats.
Humanities is originally a comprehensive discipline, and all disciplines must be formed under the foundation of humanities. To do so, humanities researchers should break their own castles, return to their original positions based on the humanistic reflection, and try various academic methods. Humanities should no longer be the recipient of the data and the user's role alone. But rather they are expected to play the role of the data curator, the leading role in data production and construction and use of a common platform, and the attempt to use the platform in various ways by the constant re-datafication make all relevant researchers enable collaboration. In addition, it is necessary to have the ability to solve problems through multi-fields, trans-fields, or cross-fields, which can be achieved not only by building basic knowledge in all fields of studies, but also by sharing interest, active participations, and diverse collaborations. We need to have critical and rational perspectives, and inclusive attitudes based on acceptance of differences, and all of these can be supported by our endeavors to solve structural problems.
We conducted a survey of open clusters within 1 kpc from the Sun using the astrometric and photometric data of the Gaia Data Release 2. We found 655 cluster candidates by visual inspection of the stellar distributions in proper motion space and spatial distributions in l b space. All of the 655 cluster candidates have a well dened main-sequence except for two candidates if we consider that the main sequence of very young clusters is somewhat broad due to dierential extinction. Cross-matching of our 653 open clusters with known open clusters in various catalogs resulted in 207 new open clusters. We present the physical properties of the newly discovered open clusters. The majority of the newly discovered open clusters are of young to intermediate age and have less than 50 member stars.
Feldmannia chitonicola is reported as a new record from Korea based on morphological studies in laboratory-cultured materials and molecular analyses. F. chitonicola is mainly characterized by a small size (1-2 mm), erect filaments mostly unbranched, plurilocular sporangia produced on both prostrate and laterally on the basal part of erect filaments, and 2 types (lanceolate and ovate) of sporangia. In our cultures, sporangia production was slower at 10°C than in 16°C and 20°C. Our molecular analyses of rbcL and cox1 genes supported its independence from other congeners reported for Korea. This is the first report of F. chitonicola for western Pacific.
본 연구의 목적은 새로운 사고의 위기가 국내 해양안전에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위함이다. 새로운 사고 위기는 세계 해상운송에서 새롭거나 드물게 또는 예측하지 못한 사건들로부터 유추한 것으로 사전 연구에서 46명의 전문가를 통해서 식별한 것이다. 새로운 해양사고의 위기를 식별하기 위하여 해양안전심판원(KMST)의 통계 데이터를 계산에 사용하였고, IMO의 공식안정성평가기법인 위기지수(RI) = 빈도지수(FI) + 심각성지수(SI)의 개념을 계산에 적용하였다. 통계적인 사고 데이터로부터 FI와 SI의 가중치를 계산한 후 가장 순위가 높은 시나리오를 식별하고 새로운 사고 위기와 시나리오 사이의 관계를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 가장 순위가 높은 시나리오의 근본적인 원인은 “첨단기술 개발”이었고, 그 결과 “화물 작업 시간 단축”이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 사전 연구에서 46명의 전문가에 의해 식별한 “영업 경쟁” 및 “선원 문제” 등과 차이가 있음을 보였다.
Saturnia (Rinaca) jonasii Butler, 1877 is distributed in Japan, including Tsushima Island and Taiwan, whereas S. boisduvalii Eversmann, 1846 is distributed in northern areas, such as China, Russia, and South Korea. In the present study we found that the specimens from Mt. Hallasan on Jejudo, a southern remote offshore island, were S. jonasii, rather than S. boisduvalii based on morphology, DNA barcode, and nuclear elongation factor 1 alpha (EF-1α) sequences. The major morphological differences between the two species included the shape of wing pattern elements of fore- and hindwings and male and female genitalia. A DNA barcode analysis of the sequences of the Jejudo specimens and S. boisduvalii, along with those of Saturnia species obtained from a public database showed a minimum sequence divergence of 4.26% (28 bp). A phylogenetic analysis also showed clustering of the Jejudo specimens with S. jonasii, separating S. boisduvalii (Bayesian posterior probability = 0.99). The EF-1α-based sequence and phylogenetic analyses of the two species from Jejudo Island and the Korean mainland showed the uniqueness of the Jejudo specimens from S. boisduvalii collected on the Korean mainland, indicating distribution of S. jonasii on Jejudo Island in South Korea, instead of S. boisduvalii.
The subgenus Nippocallis (Matsumura, 1917) is one of the 10 subgenera of the genus Tuberculatus Mordvilko, 1894. Originally, this subgenus was regarded as an independent genus of the subtribe Myzocallidina by the distinct morphological features and the host plant association with Castanea (Fagaceae). We performed molecular and morphological analyses to determine whether genus Nippocallis belongs to Tuberculatus group. Molecular analysis of the combined data set of Cytochrome Oxidase subunit I COI, Cytochrome B CytB and Elongation Factor I-alpha EF1α indicated that Nippocallis form a sister clade of the genus Myzocallis Passerini, 1860, apart from the genus Tuberculatus. In this contexts, we propose Nippocallis as a separate genus of the subtribe Myzocallidina.
Within last 10 years, internet has become a daily activity, and humankind had to face the Data Deluge, a dramatic increase of digital data (Economist 2012). Due to exponential increase in amount of digital data, large scale data has become a big issue and hence the term 'big data' appeared. There is no official agreement in quantitative and detailed definition of the 'big data', but the meaning is expanding to its value and efficacy. Big data not only has the standardized personal information (internal) like customer information, but also has complex data of external, atypical, social, and real time data. Big data's technology has the concept that covers wide range technology, including 'data achievement, save/manage, analysis, and application'. To define the connected technology of 'big data', there are Big Table, Cassandra, Hadoop, MapReduce, Hbase, and NoSQL, and for the sub-techniques, Text Mining, Opinion Mining, Social Network Analysis, Cluster Analysis are gaining attention. The three features that 'bid data' needs to have is about creating large amounts of individual elements (high-resolution) to variety of high-frequency data. Big data has three defining features of volume, variety, and velocity, which is called the '3V'. There is increase in complexity as the 4th feature, and as all 4features are satisfied, it becomes more suitable to a 'big data'. In this study, we have looked at various reasons why companies need to impose 'big data', ways of application, and advanced cases of domestic and foreign applications. To correspond effectively to 'big data' revolution, paradigm shift in areas of data production, distribution, and consumption is needed, and insight of unfolding and preparing future business by considering the unpredictable market of technology, industry environment, and flow of social demand is desperately needed.
우리나라의 도로명주소는 2012년부터 본격적으로 정착되었고, 국가의 최소단위지역으로 국가기초구역도 2012년 고시, 2014년 부터는 본격적으로 활용될 예정이다. 도로구간, 주소, 그리고 국가기초구역은 긴밀하게 연계되어 있어 도로명주소 데이터와 국가기초구역 데이터를 연계한 통합적 데이터로 정비할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 도로명주소와 국가기초구역 정보를 연계한 국가기초구역 데이터 모델을 제안하고, 이를 시범적으로 구축해 봄으로써 그 적용가능성과 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 도로명주소를 사용하는 해외의 데이터모델을 분석하고, 우리나라 도로명주소, 국가기초구역 데이터의 현황을 분석하였다. 이를 기반으로 선형기반의 도로정보와 주소정보, 각종 구역정보를 포함할 수 있는 데이터모델을 설계하고, 서대문구를 대상으로 시범구축 하였다. 시범구축결과 첫째 도로구간이 미세하게 세분되는 것을 막기 위해 도로명주소 데이터의 도로중심선 정보를 사전에 정리할 필요가 있으며, 둘째 종속구간에 대해서는 주소범위를 부여하지 않도록 하며, 셋째, 국가기초구역 설정에 종속구간이 활용되는 사례가 있으므로 주소는 부여하지 않더라도 종속구간의 왼쪽과 오른쪽을 구분하고 해당되는 면형정보를 입력할 필요가 있다는 것을 확인하였다.
