        We investigated the correlation between density of air and the infection rate of airborne microorganisms in mushroom cultivation facilities and found that the correlation was low in places where the infection rate during cultivation was less than 1%. The farms with an infection rate of 2~5% showed a high infection rate in the inoculation room in spring and summer seasons, and in the incubation room in autumn, and the farms with an infection rate of more than 6% showed infection in all the rooms regardless of the season. The farms where the Trichoderma sp. was investigated at the time of the mushroom cultivation showed the highest infection rates of 3.17%, 2.74%, and 2.64% in summer, spring, and autumn, respectively. The farms infected with Neurospora tetrasperma showed a lesser rate of infection than the ones infected with Trichoderma sp., and the highest infection rate of 0.56% was observed in summer. Based on these results, the type of infection could be classified into five groups, where type I was farms where the infection rate is less than 1% in all seasons. Three farms belonged to this type, and the infection rate in this type was lower than that in the other types.

        국내육성 스프레이 장미 품종의 농가 보급 확대와 수출 상품성 향상을 위해 PE 비닐하우스와 유리온실, 두 재배시설 환경관리에 따른 절화품질 및 절화 생산 성을 조사하였다. 재배시설에 따른 기상환경을 조사한 결과, 시간당 적산 일사량, 최고온도 및 습도, 변이(최 고값-최저값) 정도가 유리온실보다 PE 비닐하우스에서 높았다. 절화장은 시험품종 모두 유리온실에서 컸고, 줄 기 굵기와 소화수는 품종에 따른 차이는 있었으나 대 체로 PE 비닐하우스에서 우수하였으며, 분화된 총 분 지수와 수출 상품량은 적산 일사량이 높은 PE 비닐하 우스에서 많았다. 한편 흰가루병, 노균병, 잿빛곰팡이병 은 대기습도가 높게 관리되었던 PE 비닐하우스에서 발 생이 많았다. 따라서 스프레이 장미 수출 상품성 향상 을 위해서는 품종 특성 발현이 될 수 있도록 충분한 일사량, 대기온도 및 습도 등 재배환경 관리가 무엇보 다도 중요하였다.

        연안 김 양식장의 효과적 관리를 위해서는 실제 시설량의 조사가 필요하며, 인공위성을 이용한 방법이 가장 효과적이다. 본 연구에서는 10m의 해상도를 갖고 있는 SPOT-5 다중분광영상을 사용하였으며, 김 양식장의 자동탐지알고리듬의 개발을 위하여 경 기도 화성시 제부도 남방해역에 대한 2005년도 영상을 사용하였다. 김 양식장을 추출하기 위하여 우선 3밴드 영상의 분광특성을 이용 한 밴드차(Band difference) 영상을 작성하여, 두 가지 방법(형태학적 처리기법 및 Canny 에지 탐지기법)으로 처리를 한 후, 두 결과를 합성하여 라벨링함으로써 탐지율을 극대화하였다. 마지막으로 2005년 우리나라 연안의 김 양식장에 대한 인공위성 조사 결과, 실제 시 설량은 676,749 책(柵)으로, 면허시설량 572,745 책보다 다소 많은 것으로 나타났다. 양식장 시설 현황 조사 결과는, 정부에서 전체 생산 량을 조절할 수 있게 하며, 양식업자가 좋은 수확을 달성하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다.

        본 조사는 최근 급격히 증가하고 있는 새송이버섯 재배농가의 안정적 영농을 위해 재배사 설계, 시공 및 환경조절과 관련한 기초 자료를 마련하기 위해 서부 경남지역을 대상으로 새송이버섯 재배사의 재배사 규모, 환경조절시스템 등의 실태조사 및 검토를 하였다. 재배사의 형태는 반영구재배사와 영구재배사로 대별 할수 있었고, 반영구재배사는 대부분 단동이었고, 영구재배사의 경우는 단동에 비해 상대적으로 연동이 많았다. 그리고 재배사의 규모는 형태에 관계없이 다양하였지만, 길이, 폭 및 동고는 각각 20m, 6.6~7.0m 및 4.6~5.0m정도의 농가가 가장 많았으며, 동당 바닥면적은 132~140m2(40-42평)정도의 범위로서 대부분 콘크리트로 처리하여 각종 균에 의한 버섯의 오염을 방지 할 수 있도록 되어 있었다. 반영구 및 영구재배사의 지붕경사각은 각각 41.5˚ 및 18.6~28.6˚로 나타나 반영구재배사의 지붕경사도가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 재배상의 폭 및 단수는 재배사의 형태에 관계없이 각각 1.2~1.6m정도와 4단이 주류를 이루고 있었다. 버섯을 연중재배 하는 재배사에는 모두 냉·난방시설, 가습장치 및 환기팬이 설치되어 있었다. 난방방식의 경우, 온수보일러, 전기히터, 증기보일러 순으로 나타났다. 냉방장치의 경우는 모두 산업용 에어컨을 설치하여 운용하고 있었다. 그리고 가습은 초음파가습기와 원심분리가습기를 사용하고 있었으며, 보조 장치로 분무노즐을 사용하는 농가도 일부 있었다. 또한 온·습도 조절 및 탄산가스 조절을 위한 장치의 제어는 동별 제어시스템을 많이 채택하고 있었다. 그리고 온도센서 이외는 모두 타이머를 이용하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 배지병의 크기는 850 cc 및 1,100 cc를 사용하는 농가가 주류를 이루고 있었고, 이 밖에도 800cc와 950 cc, 1,200 cc병을 사용하는 농가도 있었다. 출하형태는 대부분 유통회사와 공판장을 동시에 이용하고 있었다.

        Background : We examined the inorganic compounds, compressive strength, yield, and functional substances of five steam-treated deciduous tree species to address the problem of the low degradation activity of conventional oak trees in the cultivation of Gastrodia elata in indoor facilities. Methods and Results : With the exception of Ca in cherry blossom tree (CBT), the content of the major inorganic elements (N, P, Mg, K, and Ca) in alternative trees were 1.5 - 3.6, 1.3 - 2.6, 3.3 - 5.3, 4.4 - 7.5, and 0.9 - 3.9 times those in oak (control group), respectively. The content of trace elements (Zn, Cu, Fe, and Mn) were equivalent to or slightly lower than those in oak, depending on tree species. The compressive strength of alternative trees was 9.3%–34.9% lower than that of oak. The compressive strength after steaming was lower in the order CBT (8.0%), mulberry tree (MBT: 7.0%), chestnut tree (CNT: 7.2%), Siebold's crab (SBC: 6.9%), black locust (BLL: 6.1%), and oak (5.4%). The total weight of oak was 893 g in comparison with the 1,107, 902, 952, 813, and 813 g of MBT, CNT, CBT, SBC, and BLL, respectively. The mature tuber and seed tuber ratios were 31%, 34%, 32%, 32%, 34%, and 30%, and 67%, 75%, 68%, 70%, 73%, and 65%, respectively. The yield index increased overall by 1% - 14%. Total weight after steaming increased by 10%, 18%, 14%, 16%, 20%, and 12% in oak, MBT, CNT, CBT, SCB, and BLL, respectively. Mature tuber and seed tuber ratios after steaming increased by 1%, 1%, 0%, 1%, and 2%, and 5%, 3%, 7%, 2%, 5%, and 5%, respectively. There were no significant difference among tree species in drying ratio, hardness, chromaticity for quality comparisons, and steaming. However, the results of functional substance analysis revealed significant differences in gastrodin, gastrodigenin, p-hydroxybenzaldehyde, and ergothioneine according to tree species. Conclusion : From the above results, we may believed that five tree species including MBT might have useful as alternative to oak when the cultivation of G. elata in Indoor Facilities.

        Background : The production of healthy ginseng seedling is a critical part of growing 5-6-year-old fresh ginseng. Recently, for the problem of replant failure, it becomes more and more difficult to find first planted field for ginseng seedling cultivation. In this situation, This study was conducted to examine the possibility of seedling production practices of ginseng by utilizing the multi-beds cultivation system as a way to produce ginseng seedling stably. Methods and Results : This experiment was conducted by installing a 3-layed cultivation beds using 50㎜ sandwich panels. As the 1st and 2nd beds get insufficient amount of light, fluorescent lights were installed in 2 rows to further lighten up. And the 3rd bed used natural light. The bed soil used was formulated by mixing saprolite, yakto and peat moss. The control was cultivated under natural light on 1-layed bed with commercial bed soil for ginseng seedling. The commercial bed soil had pH 7.24, higher than the standard of permission, 6.5; and its calcium and sodium contents were 10.7, and 0.85 cmol+/㎏, respectively, higher than the standard. The available phosphate concentration was 34.0㎎/㎏, lower than the appropriate level of 100 ㎎/㎏. The mixing bed soil also had pH 7.69, higher than the standard but its nitrate and phosphate were within the appropriate range. The intra-facility light quantities of the 1st and 2nd beds were constant at around 100 μmol during days. But the light quantity of the 3rd bed was 51.4 μmol in average daily value. The roots of the 1st-3rd beds were found to weigh 0.58 – 0.73 g while those of the control group, about 0.47g to show heavier root weight of the multi-beds cultivation ginseng than that of the control. As for the yield, the control showed 145 ㎏/10a whereas the 1st-3rd beds showed higher levels between 183 – 228 ㎏/10a. Conclusion : In the multi-beds cultivation of ginseng seedling, fluorescent lamps seem to have provided sufficient light as an artificial light source. The soil for ginseng seedling production is different from ginseng cultivation field soil, additional study will be also necessary to set up the physiochemical range of bed soil for ginseng seedling.

        Background : Root diseases caused by Cylindrocarpon destructans and Fusarium solani decrease the yield and quality of ginseng. Cylindrocarpon root rot is a major disease caused by replanting failure in ginseng garden. Methods and Results : Solarization was done in the infested soil of the greenhouse for summer season (from July 24 to Autumn 31, 2014) after putting green manure (Sudan grass) and calcium cyanamide (CC) into the soil. Mycelium and conidia of C. destructans died at 4 0℃ after 15 hours, and 45℃ after 5 h, but it did not die at 35℃ after 15 h. Those of C. destructans died after keeping it for 2 hours daily at 40℃ for 9 days, and 45℃ for 8 days, but did not die at 38℃ for 9 days. Maximum soil temperature was 55.4℃ in 5 cm depth, 48.7℃ in 10 cm, 44.7℃ in 15 cm, 42.5℃ in 20 cm, and 31.9℃ in 30 cm by putting green manure into the soil and solarization. Reduction of sudan grass increased electrical conductivity (EC), organic matter, P2O5, K, and Mg, while decreased pH, NO3-N, and Na. Addition of calcium cyanamide and urea gave a negative effect on the growth of ginseng because EC and NO3-N were increased excessively than the optimal range. Solarization using green manure mixed with CC was the most effective in decreasing soil-borne pathogens of 2-year-old ginseng. But the root disease that occurred between single treatment of sudan grass and the treatment mixed with calcium cyanamide showed not a significant different. Addition of calcium cyanamide showed the decrease of root weight because leaves were dead early by a excessive increase of EC and NO3-N. Conclusion: Soil disinfection using green manure and solarization in greenhouse was effective in inhibiting root rot, however, it did not completely kill the soil-borne pathogens.

Solarization using green manure mixed with CC was the most effective in decreasing soil-borne pathogens of 2-year-old ginseng. However, the addition of CC decreased the root weight due to the increase in EC and NO3-N. Conclusions: Soil disinfection using green manure and solarization in a greenhouse environment was effective in inhibiting root rot, however, it did not completely kill the soil-borne pathogens.

        It is neceesary to evaluate the location suitability of protected cultivation facilities to guide reasonable protected cultivation. The evaluation system could help plan new protected cultivation facilities in rural areas. In this study, an assessment was made for the facilities located in three different selected regions: suburban, plain, and mountainous. The assessment was performed based on spatial characteristics of protected cultivation facilities such as land category, size of protected cultivation facilities, land shape, stoniness, land consolidation level, soil drainage, land slope, topography, effective soil depth, zoning or not of agricultural development area, irrigation and drainage condition, distance from roads, and so forth. The results showed that there were significant differences in locational characteristics among the three regions.
