        In the automotive information display device industry, products with high reliability and wide temperature conditions are required, and interest in products that do not cause lighting defects even under extremely low temperature conditions is increasing. In this experiment, we produced an LED backlight unit for car navigation in a cryogenic environment. And to make this backlight unit, we used 12 side-emitting white LEDs with 3[W] high power LEDs. This backlight unit emits up to 18,000[nits] at a power consumption of 36[W] and has a startup voltage time of less than 1[ms] at -50° ambient temperature.

        In the present study, to investigate the cooling characteristics of the multi-heat pump with 3 indoor units, 7 indoor unit combinations and 3 setting temperatures are selected to study the cooling characteristics during steady-state operation. The cooling capacity, power consumption, COP, compressor high and low pressure of the heat pump are tested under the cooling standard temperature conditions using an air enthalpy multi-calorimeter. The experimental results show that, except for an operation with an indoor unit capacity of 30% or less, the cooling capacity, power consumption, and compressor operation frequency increase as the capacity of the indoor unit increases and the setting temperature of the indoor unit decreases. COP increases or decreases according to the compressor frequency, and is the best at 50-80% capacity of the indoor unit. As the compressor frequency increases, the compressor outlet pressure increases by about 30%.

        In the present study, it is conducted to understand the heating performance and compressor operation characteristics according to 7 indoor unit combinations and 3 setting temperatures of the inverter multi-heat pump under heating standard temperature conditions. Heating capacity, COP and compressor frequency are investigated using the multi-calorimeter. The indoor unit combinations are simultaneous operation(A+B+C), partial operation(A+C, A+B, B+C) and independent operation(A, B, C), and the setting temperature is 20, 21, and 30°C. Since the increase in the setting temperature increases the compress frequency, the heating capacity increases, but COP decreases due to the increase in power consumption. The frequency increases as the indoor unit combination capacity increases, and decreases as the setting temperature decreases in the steady state.

        본 연구는 권취식 측창을 갖는 아치형 단동 플라스틱 온실 내 강제환기장치 설치 및 운용, 환기 성능 개선방안 등을 제안 하기 위해 온실 내부에 유동팬과 배기팬을 설치하여 강제환기 장치 사용에 따른 온실 내부기온 강하 특성을 정량적으로 조 사하였다. 시험은 3가지 환기 조건(측창, 측창+순환팬, 측창+ 순환팬+배기팬)에서 수행되었다. 각 조건 데이터로거를 이용 하여 환기 시작과 동시에 온실 내외부 기온 및 외부환경 변화 를 측정·기록하였고, 환기 방식별 기온차 변화의 평균값으로 부터 정규기온차를 계산하여 기온 강하 효과를 비교하였다. 오전(11:00-12:00)에는 환기 방식에 상관없이 환기 초반 정 규기온차가 일시적으로 증가했다가 감소하는 것으로 나타났 다. 강제환기장치가 더 많이 사용될수록 최대 정규기온차는 1.158에서 1.037로 감소하였고 최대 정규기온차에 도달하는 시간도 340초에서 110초로 단축되었다. 강제환기장치의 사 용은 정규기온차가 0.8까지 감소하는데 소요된 시간을 1,030 초에서 550초로, 0.6까지는 1,610초에서 915초로, 0.4까지는 2,315초에서 1,360초로, 자연환기의 약 60% 수준으로 감소 시켰다. 오후(14:00-15:00)에는 정규기온차의 증가가 관측되지 않았지만, 환기 시작과 동시에 기온차가 감소하기 시작 했다. 또한 강제환기장치가 더 많이 사용될수록 정규기온차 가 0.8까지 내려가는 시간을 560초에서 345초로, 0.6까지는 825초에서 540초로, 0.4까지는 560초에서 345초로, 약 70% 수준으로 감소시켰다. 따라서, 보다 효과적이고 경제적인 환 기를 위해 강제환기장치는 오전과 같이 열부하가 높은 환경에 서 적극적으로 사용하는 것이 바람직하다고 판단된다.

        Kori and Wolsong unit 1 were permanently shutdown in 2017 and 2019, respectively. During the decommissioning of a nuclear power plant, various types and levels of decommissioning waste will be generated sporadically in many areas in a relatively short period of time, so safe management of decommissioning waste is expected to emerge as a very important issue in the future. Since Korea has no experience in decommissioning nuclear power plants, radionuclides added by abnormal routes or errors in data can be identified through the list of expected nuclides and radioactivity data during decommissioning by analyzing cases of overseas nuclear power plants decommissioning. Therefore, it is expected that safety information of nuclear power plants in the United States (i.e. all information related to safety, such as radioactive waste characteristics and accident or decommissioning information at nuclear power plants) can be utilized when decommissioning Korea nuclear power plants. Therefore, in this study, the characteristics of solid radioactive waste were analyzed by collecting solid radioactive waste data during operation and after permanent shutdown of nine PWR nuclear power plants in the United States, and the correlation between the characteristics data of solid radioactive waste was analyzed. However, in the case of Korea, only data from the United States were analyzed because there was no data for each radionuclide that were disclosed when disposing of radioactive waste in LILW repository and there was no nuclear power plant that had been decommissioned. Correlation analysis of solid radioactive waste was performed by linking radioactivity of radionuclides, volume of waste, and total radioactivity data based on decommissioning work and accident data after permanent shutdown or during operation. The correlation analysis of total radioactivity, volume, and radioactivity of each nuclide of solid radioactive waste during operation and after permanent shutdown was performed using XLSTAT, an Excel add-in software, for carrying out Mann-Kendall Test and estimating Sen’s slope. Trends during operation and after permanent shutdown were compared and the effects of specific events or tasks were analyzed. This study is expected to be utilized as basic data related to safety management of decommissioning Korea nuclear power plants in future.

        해양 운송 산업은 특성상 항공 및 철도 등의 다른 운송 산업보다 비교적 늦게 신기술이 적용되는 산업이다. 현재 대부분의 선박은 기계장치 및 시스템에 문제가 발생하거나 운용 시간 기반으로 정비를 하는 사후 정비(Corrective Maintenance, CM)와 예방 정비 (Preventive Maintenance, PM)에 속하는 시간 기반 정비(TBM, Time Based Maintenance)가 적용되고 있다. 그러나 높은 유지보수 비용이 요구되고, 육상의 즉각적인 지원이 어려우며, 선박이 멈추면 즉시 위험에 노출되는 해양 환경에서 운영되는 선박에서 과도한 단순 정비로 인한 인력과 비용 낭비, 예측되지 못한 고장 및 결함으로 유발되는 사고 등으로 인해 운용 효율화 측면에서 기존 정비법에 대한 한계점이 문제시 되고 있다. 예지 정비(Predictive Maintenance, PdM)는 진보된 기술로 기계의 상태 및 성능을 모니터링하여 고장시기를 예측하여 정비하는 방법으로 핵심 기계장치가 항상 최상의 작동 상태를 효율적으로 유지할 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문은 해양 환경에서 PdM의 적용성에 중점을 둔 해양 예지 정비(MPdM, Maritime Predictive Maintenance)에 대해 고안하였으며, 제시된 MPdM은 지리적 고립과 극한 해양 상황 등 해양 운송 산업의 특수한 환경을 고려하여 설계되었다. 본 논문은 선진 미래 해양 운송을 가능하게 하는 MPdM이라는 개념과 그 필요성을 제안한다.

        In this paper, the performance characteristics of a cryogenic refrigeration system used in fields such as HMR(Home Meal Replacement) that require ultra-low temperatures of -50℃ using natural refrigerants according to the recent enforcement of the Atmosphere Environment Conservation Act were investigated. For this purpose, a 2-stage compression refrigeration system using R744(CO2) and a cascade refrigeration system using R747/R404A and R747/R717(NH3) were applied. The COP(coefficients of performance) of each refrigeration system were compared according to changes in evaporation and condensation temperature, subcooled and superheated degree. Although the coefficient of performance of the 2-stage compression refrigeration system using R744 was superior to that of the cascade refrigeration system, 2-stage refrigeration system was considered that various problems should be solved in practical terms. In addition, the COP of R744/R717 for various operating conditions showed similar results to R744/R404A, so the possibility of alternativeness could be confirmed in the cascade refrigeration system.

        본 연구는 비용매 상분리법(nonsolvent induced phase separation, NIPS)을 사용하여 제조한 분리막의 배출수 처리 현장 적용성 test를 위한 최적 유효막 길이 선정 하기 위해, 동일한 원수, 기본 공정 조건으로 유효막 길이를 변화시켜 운전에 따른 역세 효율 및 운전압을 관찰하였다. 동일한 공정조건에서 유효막 길이의 변화를 주어 500㎜, 1,000㎜, 1,500㎜의 유효막 길이에 따라 1.5일간 고탁도의 가혹한 조건에서 공정을 지속하여 측정을 실시하였다. 유효막 길이별 운전 결과 유효막 길이에 따른 역세에 의한 효율차이를 확인할 수 있었으며 고탁도의 원수를 사용하여 중공사 막의 내부 폐색이 진행되었으며 유효막 길이가 길수록 폐색되지 않은 bore쪽으로만 역세가 진행되어 여과 후 역세에 의한 회복이 현저히 떨어짐을 확인하였다.

        Cooling operation characteristics of multi-A/C(air conditioner)s were experimentally investigated for combination of indoor units (A+B, A+C, B+C) and operating conditions (standard, overload, low temperature and low temperature freezing). The operating data and performance of the air conditioner were measured using a multi-calorimeter. We also observed compressor frequency and pressure variations. From the experimental results, it was found that the cooling performance and the operating characteristics depend on operation combination of indoor units, in the case of 2 room simultaneous operation. In the four types of cooling tests, the cooling capacity and COP of the 3 room simultaneous operation and 2 room simultaneous operation were similar. Through this experimental study, data on the simultaneous operation characteristics of 2 room simultaneous operation according to the changes of indoor and outdoor temperature of four kinds were obtained.

        바이오항공유 제조 공정 내 수첨업그레이딩 공정의 운전조건 선정은 반응물로부터 얻고자 하는 주생성물인 탄화수소 화합물에 대하여 바이오항공유로서 원하는 탄소수 분포의 물성을 갖도록 하기 위한 중요한 인자이다. 본 연구에서는 식물성 오일 유래 노말 파라핀계 탄화수소 화합물에 대한 수첨 업그레이딩 반응이 0.5 wt.% Pt/Zeolite 촉매 하에서 수행되었으며, 이를 통해 크래킹 반응과 이성질화 반응이 동반됨으로써 바이오항공유로서 물성을 갖는 탄소수 분포인 C8-C16에 해당하는 노말 파라핀계와 이소 파라핀계가 혼합된 탄화수소류 화합물이 제조되었다. 반응온도, 반응압력, 반응물 몰비와 공간속도를 변화하여 얻어진 생성물의 수율 및 조성을 분석하였다. 상기 공정 조건에 대한 정보는 수첨 업그레이딩 반응특성의 이해뿐 아니라 향후 증류를 통한 바이오항공유 제조에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

        The cooling operating characteristics of the 3 room air conditioner are experimentally investigated for the number of the indoor units (A, B, C) and the operating conditions (standard, overload) under the cooling operation. The cooling capacity and COP were calculated using a multi-type calorimeter. Also, EEV opening, compressor frequency, and superheat degree were obtained when the compressor started. From the experimental results, we can see that the performance and operation characteristics of the air conditioner depend on the indoor unit operation method. In case of simultaneous and single operation, the cooling overload performance was measured lower than the standard condition. Also, in the overload operation, the power consumption of the compressor was greatly increased and the COP was also decreased.

        The characteristics of PM10 generation by subway operation such as acceleration, constant velocity, deceleration or stoppage were measured in real time to study its causes. For measurement positions, the lower center point on the front side of the Tc1-car was selected to observe the re- suspension caused by train draft, and behind the M2-car wheel and the T1-car wheel were selected observe the abrasion loss from friction generation during cabin operation. The measurement results showed that the PM10 generation is increased by train draft was 5.6% in the constant velocity section and 1.45% in the acceleration/deceleration sections. The increase by adhesiveness for cabin acceleration/deceleration was 9.6%, while the increase caused by friction from motor operation and steering was 5.1%. On the other hand, the amount of PM10 flowing into the station when a cabin was stopped at a station was 136% of normal condition and this might be the key reason of PM10 pollution in a subway tunnels since most pollution is accumulated there.

        The aim of this research was to the experimental data using statistical and spectral analyzing method to get the motion reponses of a stern trawler in operation states such as drifting, sailing and trawling according to the wave height. In drifting, the significant and the maximum valuer of roll in beam sea increased according to the wave height, but those of pitch decreased. The response and the period of peak of roll in beam sea were increased, but those of pitch decreased. In navigation, the significant and maximum values of roll increased remarkably according to the wave height, but those of pitch changed a little. The response of roll was highest in quartering sea, beam sea and then following sea, but those of pitch was highest in bow sea, head sea and then beam sea in the order of all wave heights. The period of peak of roll due to the wave height and the wave direction changed from 3.8 to 9.9 seconds, and those of pitch changed from 3.3 to 10.4 seconds. In trawling, the significant and maximum values of roll increased a little according to the wave height, but those of pitch increased significantly. The response of roll was highest in beam sea, bow sea and then quartering sea, but those of pitch was highest in head sea, following sea, and then beam sea in the order. The period of peak of roll due to the wave height and the direction changed from 6.6 to 10.9 seconds, and those of pitch changed from 6.7 to 11.2 seconds.

        분리막 생물반응조내 침지형 평막(공칭공경 0.15 ㎛, CPVC)을 사용하여 운전방식에 따른 막 오염 저감효과를 알아보았다. 또한 SMP, EPS와 같은 입자성 물질을 플록으로 형성시켜 장기운전을 가능하게 하였다. 운전방식은 기존 운전/휴지 방식과 연속적으로 처리수를 생산할 수 있도록 자체 개발한 사인파형 투과유속 연속운전(Sinusoidal flux continuous operation; SFCO)을 적용하였다. 응집제를 투여한 경우 기존 운전/휴지방식에 비하여 SFCO의 TMP는 최대 30% 미만으로 유지됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

        The adsorption/desorption characteristics of toluene vapors filled with activated carbon(AC) were studied. Adsorption performance of AC was investigated according to flow rate, moisture content, and other factors. The breakthrough time was shortened as the flow rate and moisture content increased. The AC loaded with toluene was regenerated by programmed heating and pressure. AC was regenerated well, as the conditions of heating temperature(80oC) and pressure(100 torr) were appropriate. Toluene is more easily removed at low temperature than through thermal desorption methods. The test of AC regeneration was carried out three times.
