        This study considers the process of regional Re-Birth against the depopulation of Teshima, located in the Seto Inland Sea (Tonosho-town, Shodo-district, Kagawa Prefecture). The island was the subject of a scandal with largest illegal industrial waste since the 1970s. Now, the industrial waste issue on the island is mainly removed the ART SETOUCHI, art festival, attracted 150,000 visitors in 2016, and is held once every three years. The study focuses on the effects of ART SETOUCHI (Contemporary art festival) and the regional characteristics (especially focusing on local foods). Based on these two key characteristics, the structure model of Re-Birth aimed CSV, that is, balancing economic value and social value by Value Co-Creation among various actors centered on Local residents and New residents. In this study, Value Co-Creation defines value recognition by Local residents and New residents, based on the concept of value co-creation (4C's approach) by Muramatsu (2015) , S-D-Logic by Vargo and Lush (2004) and S-Logic by Grönroos (2006). This study explores not only the structure model of Re-Birth, but also how to adapt the model even in such harsh environmental areas, like Fukushima, suffering with depopulation, aging, and reputational damage. We see that, Regional Re-Birth means, the story that Local residents and New residents aim to establish the self-government system to have initiatives against the negative state refined as polluted land. At such time, independent, self-reliance, and self-consideration are important factors as condition of Value Co-Creation.

        The purpose of this study was to analyze trends in sustainable fashion research and to guide its the development by examining previous research projects conducted by the UK Centre for Sustainable Fashion. A literature review and case studies were conducted from which the following results were identified. It was shown that the CSF has cooperated with fashion, arts and technology businesses and other external organizations. The CSF has contributed to improving the economic durability of the fashion industry, the convergence of both local and the international fashion communities, and the development of cultural sustainability. Moreover, it incorporates various academic fields into its research and has developed advanced researching methods for sustainable fashion. The CSF has embraced the new perspectives by utilizing student ideas for the development of sustainable fashion. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the CSF studied the sustainability of fashion from a more organic perspective through multidisciplinary research. Second, it has expanded the possibility of sustainable fashion research through research formats, research fields and research operations. Finally, it has evoked values and responsibilities that the fashion industry should pursue in modern society and has become an exemplary case of sustainable fashion research, providing creative studies for sustainable fashion research in the future.

        Cortical activity was assessed in fashion-luxury consumers with a different sustainability orientation, in order to obtain insight on implicit dynamic towards eco-luxury products. Findings highlighted a strong emotional negative impact elicited by sustainability pictures implying a high engagement in luxury consumers when exposed to specific sensitive issues.

        The objective of this research is to verify the level of adherence to the GRI framework that 100 largest luxury companies are using in their sustainability reports. The result indicates that adoption of GRI indicators is still at an early stage and can be improved in the future.

        The current study investigates how retailers deal with sustainability issues in different market fields with a specific focus on fashion industry. This work examines the last ten years of the scientific literature on sustainable retailing (SR), through a systematic literature review. 215 papers selected from the EBSCO database are analyzed, in order to develop an overview on the state of the art of research on SR. A comprehensive framework for a holistic definition of SR and for retailers’ practices related to sustainability is outlined. Future research directions on SR are provided.

        식물은 다양한 생물적・무생물적 환경요인과 상호작용한다. 한 가지 종이 소유하는 특성을 이해하기 위해서는 다양한 정보가 요구된다. 특별히 어떤 종이 멸종의 위협에 직면해 있는지를 평가하는데 있어서 한두 가지의 정보만으로는 한계가 존재한다. 북방계식물로 우리나라가 분포의 남방한계에 해당하는 층층둥굴레는 2015년 12월까지도 멸종위협에 직면해 있는 것으로 평가되었다. 최근 분포범위가 비교적 넓고 다수의 개체군이 보고되었음에도 개체군의 낮은 유전적 다양성으로 인해 취약하다고 평가 하였다. 본 연구에서는 우선적으로 분포현황을 평가하였다. 이를 바탕으로 분포지의 식생환경, 개체군의 구조, 식물계절학, 토양환경, 자가불화합성 여부를 평가하였다. 마지막으로 분포지에서 나타나고 있는 현재의 위협요인을 평가하였다. 분포지는 일부 산지의 사면에 위치하는 경우를 제외하고 대부분은 하천의 가장자 리에 위치한 미사가 퇴적되는 공간에 위치하였다. 대부분은 안정적인 개체군 구조를 나타내었고 재정착하는 유묘가 존재하였다. 지상으로의 줄기 출현은 토양 중에 위치한 근경의 깊이에 따라 차이가 존재하였다. 특히 유묘와 어린 개체는 토양 중에 얕게 근경이 위치하였다. 종자의 결실은 화분매개곤충의 방문과 수분의 성공이 중요한 요인으로 평가되었다. 각각의 분포지에서 관찰된 주요한 위협요인으로는 경작지의 확대, 건물의 신축, 제방과 도로의 건설이 있었다. 관찰된 위협요인에도 불구하고 넓은 분포범위, 270만 개체 이상의 전체 개체 수 및 재정착에 의해 새롭게 형성되는 개체군의 존재에 따라 급격한 감소와 절멸은 나타나지 않을 것으로 예상되었다.

        The government announced that it would ask the contractors not only the supplier but also the contractors to take the same responsibilities if they did not observe industrial accident safety measures from 2019. The semiconductor manufacturing process belongs to the representative disaster industry group in which the facility is directly located inside a closed space called clean room. According to previous studies, the semiconductor industry group used checklists for safety management of their suppliers. This study has developed a model for assessing suppliers by constructing a quantitative checklist item through the risk assessment methodology, laws and regulations. The evaluation model of the supplier set up through this study becomes the safety management standard in the semiconductor industry .Furthermore, it is applied to the partner companies in the operation of ISO 14001, 45001, I would like to apply it as a measure of performance management for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

        Climate change and global warming are the biggest challenges of the current generation. Every industry has contributed to the climate change and global warming. Even the apparel industry cannot avoid the criticism regarding fast fashion and its contribution to the pollution. The transition to the decarbonized economy is in progress. All aspects of business functions are influenced by climate change. Sustainable development and climate change are closely linked, and business plays the key role in addressing and finding solutions to the challenges of climate change. Luxury brands are the trendsetters and tastemakers. They are the leaders in the fashion industry and therefore responsible for improving on sustainability as well. Even luxury business cannot avoid environmental issues. The relation between luxury and sustainability is explored with the Burberry case based on the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework. There are various ways for luxury brands to excel in sustainability and affect other companies’ practices. The companies can incorporate the concept of sustainability in their brand stories as part of the branding process. They can also improve demand planning accuracy and produce upcycled goods. Centering on Burberry’s case, this paper aims to explore the current sustainable practices of luxury business along with its future direction toward sustainable development. Its contribution and directions for both researchers and business practitioners are discussed.

        Religion provides one of the most enduring and central value systems for consumers that guides behavior in the marketplace. Prior research is only beginning to explore the role of religion in consumption, especially in how religion influences sustainable consumption. The research herein examines the relationship among religion and sustainable consumption through twenty qualitative interviews of Western religious individuals (Christians, Muslims, Jews, Sikhs; n = 10) and Eastern religious individuals (Hindus, Buddhists, Spirit-Based Faith; n = 10). Findings are discussed in light of sustainability and international marketing outcomes.
