        In this study, a comparative dissolution experiment was conducted between an immediate-release and a controlled-release vitamin C tablet applied with a technology to control the dissolution of vitamin C to maintain the vitamin C level in the human body. In order to confirm the dissolution rate (%) of vitamin C tablets, HPLC determination was conducted based on the dissolution test methods in the ‘Korean Pharmacopoeia (No. 2020-88),’ ‘Guidelines on Specifications of Dissolution Tests for Oral dosage Forms,’ and ‘Standard and Specifications for Health Functional Foods (No. 2020-63)’ from Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). In addition, the dissolution pattern between the immediate-release tablet and the controlled-release tablet was comparatively analyzed. The analysis result confirmed that the immediate-release vitamin C tablet was 100% dissolved after 45 minutes, while the controlled- release vitamin C tablet was 100% dissolved after 480 minutes (8 hours). Furthermore, the dissolution rate (%) at 60 minutes was slower than that of the immediate-release vitamin C tablet. Based on these results, this study confirmed that the dissolution rate (%) test and development of controlled-release tablets containing vitamin C as the main component a re possible.

        PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to analyze not only the strength but also the durability and abrasion resistance of concrete pavements as increasing the cases of domestic concrete pavement damage which do not meet the service years. METHODS: The bottom layer of a two-lift concrete pavement was paved with original Portland cement (OPC) with 20~23 cm thickness. On the other hand, the top-layer, which is directly exposed to the environment and vehicles, was paved with high-performance concrete (HPC) with 7~10 cm thickness. For the optimal mixed design of the top-layer material of a two-lift concrete pavement, silica fume and polymer powder were mixed. Furthermore, it analyzes abrasion resistance of concrete as follow‘ ASTM C 779’which is dressing wheel abrasion test method. RESULTS : As a result, abrasion resistance is improved with increasing the silica fume ratio. When the polymer powder is mixed, abrasion resistance of concrete is much improved. However, the effect of mixing ratio is not significant. It is very effective that adding both silica fume and polymer powder occur 20~40% of abrasion comparing with OPC variables. CONCLUSIONS : The concrete strength and durability increased with silica fume and polymer powder. In particular, it is significant increasing strength of polymer powder under the flexural strength. In the abrasion resistance side, it is also significant when the silica fume and polymer powder used together.

        본 연구는 아질산나트륨 및 비타민 C의 대체로 첨가한 수벌번데기 분말이 유화형 소시지의 이화학적 품질 특성에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 하였다. 시료는 아질산염, 비타민 C 및 수벌번데기 분말의 첨가 수준에 따라 각각 아질산나트륨 150 ppm+비타민 C 200 ppm(대조구), 아질산나트륨 75 ppm+ 비타민C 100 ppm+수벌번데기 분말 6.015%(T1) 또는 수벌번데기 분말 12.03%(T2)을 첨가하여 제조한 후 4℃에 30일 동안 저장하였다. pH는 수벌번데기 분말의 첨가 수준이 증가함에 따라 현저하게 감소하였다(p<0.05). 일반성분 함량은 수벌번데기 분말의 첨가 수준이 높은 소시지에서 낮은 수분 및 조단백질 함량과 높은 조지방 및 조회분 함량을 보였다 (p<0.05). 지방산 조성은 T1과 T2가 대조구에 비해 포화지방산 함량이 높았으나(p<0.05), 불포화지방산 및 다가불포화지 방산 함량은 낮았다(p<0.05). 색깔은 T1과 T2가 대조구보다 현저하게 낮은 명도(L*) 및 적색도(a*)와 높은 황색도(b*) 및 hue-angle(h°)을 보였으며(p<0.05), T2의 경우 가장 낮은 chroma(C*)를 나타내었다(p<0.05). 지방산화물(TBARS) 함량은 T2가 가장 높았으며(p<0.05), 특히, 대조구보다 2배 이상 높았다. 조직감은 T1과 T2가 저장기간 동안 대조구에 비해 단단한 특성을 보였다(p<0.05). 따라서 유화형 소시지에서 수벌번데기 분말의 첨가는 색깔, 지방산화안정성 및 조직감에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나, 아질산나트륨 및 비타민 C 대체 효과가 없었다

        Three-dimensional motion analysis systems and force plates are used for gait phase detection and ground reaction force(GRF) or ground reaction moment(GRM) data collection. But force plates as measurement systems are restricted to laboratory environments and have limitations for abnormal walking with foot dragging. Therefore the methods were proposed to compute the GRM from the kinematic data of three-dimensional motion analysis systems. Gait phase detection with kinematic data using foot velocity algorithm(FVA) was performed. The validity of gait phase detection was obtained comparing with the results of force plates. A gait model with 7 segments was composed to compute GRM. The results of gait model with kinematic data were compared with those of force plates. The result of the vertical direction is similar. But anterior-posterior direction and lateral direction show similar tendency with some gaps.

        Niemann-Pick type C disease (NPC), known an autosomal recessive disorder, is characterized by abnormal accumulation of cholesterol and glycolipid in late endosome/lysosome. The 95% case in NPC patients are caused by mutation of NPC1 gene, whose gene product is 13 transmembrane-domains and a sterol-sensing domain. The compensation of NPC1 by transgene expression in NPC1-deficient mouse recovered life span and sterility, but neurological correction incompletely, suggesting a possibility of gene therapy. Thus, in order to develop virial expression system for gene therapy of NPC, we isolated NPC1 cDNA and constructed Sindbis viral expression system for verification. NPC1 expression by Sindbis viral expression reduced the accumulation of cholesterol induced by treatment of U18666A and progesterone in both baby hamster kidney (BHK) cells and cultured hippocampal neurons. In addition, NPC1 expression increased the immunoreactivities of post-synaptic density protein 95kDa (PSD-95) in dendrites. On the basis of these results, we constructed a lentiviral vector for NPC1 expression and examined its expression in hippocampal cultured neurons.

        의사 결정 나무 알고리즘은 관심이 되는 집단을 몇 개의 소집단으로 분류하거나 특성을 예측하기 위한 데이터 마이닝 분석 기법중 하나이다. 이 기법은 각 업종별 특성을 분석하여 업종별 차이점을 찾기 위해 사용되었다. 여기에서 사용되어진 의사결정 알고리즘으로는 C4.5알고리즘을 사용하였다. 트리는 이득율(Gain Ratio)에 의해서 Top-Down방식으로 구성하게 되었다. 본 연구에서 사용된 데이터는 2003년, 2004년에 발생 되어진 데이터로 총 25,159개의 데이터를 대상으로 정제과정을 거쳐 24,887개의 데이터를 사용하였고, 한 개의 종속 변수와 8개의 독립 변수로 이루어져 있다. 총 222개의 트리 노드가 만들어 졌고 최종 노드(Leaf Node)는 총 151개가 생성되었다. 생성된 트리 결과에 대한 정확성 측정을 위해 정확도(Accuracy), 오분류 확률(Misclassification Rate)을 계산하였다.

        Silver nanoparticles were loaded onto g-C3N4 (CN) with a nanoroll-type morphology (Ag/CN) synthesized using a co-polymerization method for highly selective conversion of toxic nitrobenzene to industrially-valuable aminobenzene. Scanning electron microscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) images of Ag/CN revealed the generation of the nanoroll-type morphology of CN. Additionally, HRTEM analysis provided direct evidence of the generation of a Schottky barrier between Ag and CN in the Ag/CN nanohybrid. Photoluminescence analysis and photocurrent measurements suggested that the introduction of Ag into CN could minimize charge recombination rates, enhancing the mobility of electrons and holes to the surface of the photocatalyst. Compared to pristine CN, Ag/CN displayed much higher ability in the photocatalytic reduction of nitrobenzene to aminobenzene, underscoring the importance of Ag deposition on CN. The enhanced photocatalytic performance and photocurrent generation were primarily ascribed to the Schottky junction formed at the Ag/CN interface, greater visible-light absorption efficiency, and improved charge separation associated with the nanoroll morphology of CN. Ag would act as an electron sink/trapping center, enhancing the charge separation, and also serve as a good co-catalyst. Overall, the synergistic effects of these features of Ag/CN improved the photocatalytic conversion of nitrobenzene to aminobenzene.

        본 연구에서는 비내진상세를 가지는 중⦁저층 R/C 건물의 1층 골조를 제작하여 무보강 실험체에 대한 구조실험을 실시하였다. 실험결과 실험체는 부재각 1.33%에서 전단파괴를 나타내어, 비내진상세를 가지는 R/C 건물의 내진성능에 관한 중요한 자료를 획득하였다. 본 연구에서는 간주형 좌굴방지 강재 슬릿댐퍼 시스템을 개발하였으며 내진보강효과를 검증하기 위하여 구조실험에 선행하여 상기 국내 비내진상세 RC 골조 실험결과를 기반으로 비선형해석을 실시하였다.

        Background : Although ginseng has various bioactive compounds in it, there is lack of study on the variations of bioactive compounds in ginseng according to the cultivation soil and the applied fertilizer types (or amount). Therefore, this study aims to examine the variations of 37 fatty acids (FA) and 8 vitamin E (Vit-E) vitamers in 6-year-old ginseng root cultivated in different soil types with different fertilizers regimes. Methods and Results : The profiling of 37 FAs and 8 Vit-E vitamers in 6-year-old ginseng roots was measured by gas chromatography coupled with a flame ionization detector, and then these results were statistically analyzed with chemometrics. The FA and Vit-E content in ginseng roots varied significantly with respect to soil cultivation conditions due to organic fertilizer types and amounts used. Unsaturated FA in ginseng is approximately 2.7 fold higher than the saturated FA. Linoleic, palmitic, and oleic acids were the most abundant FAs found in the ginseng roots. Also, the major Vit-E vitamer found in ginseng root is α-tocopherol. In particular, the application of rice straw compost or food waste fertilizer was increased to create nutritionally desirable FAs and bioactive Vit-E in ginseng root. In addition, phytonutrient profiling coupled with chemometrics can be used to discriminate the cultivation conditions of ginseng. Conclusion : This study extends our understanding about the variations of FA and Vit-E in ginseng root depending on cultivation conditions. Hence, these results can be useful as basic information for reliable ginseng production containing high amounts of phytonutrients in a paddy-converted field.

        Some mutations in FOXL2 are responsible for premature ovarian failure accompanied with blepharophimosis-ptosis-epicanthusinversus syndrome (BPES) typeI disease, and FOXL2-null mice exhibit developmental defects of granulosa cells. Recently, a new somatic mutation in FOXL2,c.402C>G, leading top. C134W change, has been identified in a vast majority of adult-type ovarian garnulosa cell tumors (GCTs). In the current study, we investigated possible mechanisms by which the C134W mutation could contribute to GCT development. The wild-type (WT) FOXL2 and its mutant form displayed differential apoptotic activities, in which WT induced a significant granulosa cell death while the mutant exhibited a minimal cell death effect. The FOXL2-induced apoptotic response was greatly dependent on caspase8, BID, or BAK since the depletion of either of them prevented FOXL2 to elicitits full apoptotic responses. Stimulated activation of caspase8, consequently resulting increased production of truncated BID (tBID), up-regulation and oligomerization of BAK, and release of cytochromec were all associated with the apoptosis followed by WT FOXL2 expression. In contrast, the mutant FOXL2 was deficient to elicit the full apoptotic signaling responses. In addition, we found the differential up-regulations of expression of death receptors including Fas and TNF-R1 between the WT and the mutant. Moreover, granulosa cells expressing either the WT FOXL2 or its variant form (C134W) exhibited distinct cell death sensitivities by the activation of death receptors. Thus, these differential activities of FOXL2 and it mutant may partly account for the pathophysiology of GCT development occurred by the somatic mutation (C134W) of FOXL2.

        This is the first report about the development of INMARSAT-C Satellite communication terminal. We analyze the existing Inmarsat-C terminal and examine each rules(IMO rule, domestic rules) about terminal. With that result, we design the basic hardware and software of terminal. This report consists of ; 1) the contents of the overall of operating situation and resources of INMARSAT-C system as like operation of communication system, communication channels and services 2) the contents of the specification of Inmarsat-C terminal hardware and software and the rules of IMO and Type approval 3) the design of basic hardware and reserch of signal modulation/demodulation using Viterbi algorithm 4) the design of software algorithms and functions focused in korean situations.
