In this study, a series of studies is intended to elicit the improvement of the quality of Admixture Substitute Concrete using oil refined for petrochemical work (ERCO). In other words, ERCO is used to analyze the basic properties of Admixture Substitute Concrete by pre-adding the AE liquid solution on its products. As an experimental variable, the method of adding ERCO was added after mixing it with concrete. In addition, the mixing ratio was planned to be 2 levels of 0, 0.5 %, and the total volume of the AEs injection quantity is 5 % that combines 0, 1, 2, and 3 % of the mixed ERCO mass of concrete. As a result, as the pre-injection of AE was increased, the characteristics of the concrete showed that the slump, and air contents were not improved, and the pre-adopting effects of AE agent were also significantly increased in the concrete.

In this study, it evaluate the electromagnetic pulse shielding performance of fiber reinforced cement composite by Fiber type. Hooked-ended steel fiber, Smooth steel fiber and Amorphous metallic fiber were reinforced 2.0 vol.% in cement composites respectively. The electromagnetic pulse shielding performance was evaluated by MIL-STD-188-125-1.

In this study, presents the mechanical bond strength properties of mortar using bio polymer in seaweed. The evaluation was based on the method presented in KS F 2762. It was confirmed that the resistance performance all levels of biopolymer using mortar excellent performance with bond strength over 1.0 MPa as defined in KS F 4042 『Polymer-cement mortar for Concrete Structures』.

SFRC slab track specimen was fabricated and tested under flexure according to BS-EN-13230. The track is reinforced only with steel fibers. Reinforced volume ratio was 0.6%Vol. In results, slab track was found to satisfy the required capacity even though there was no ordinary steel rebar.

A notch beam test has been carried out for SFRC-SCC for precast slab tracks in accordance with BS-EN-14651. The steel fiber used is a product of Beckert, which is further processed with a general steel fiber and a steel fiber end(named as 3D, 5D). Overall, the crack behavior of the specimen using 5D fiber was superior to that of using 3D fiber

After Po-Hang earthquake(Magnitude 5.4, Nov.15. 2017), total 55 cut slopes along the expressway within 25km from earthquake source were examined if there were any signs of instabilities such as rockfalls, surface failure, cracks and wood tumbles. Examination revealed that no cut slope showed any abnomality. This result raise an issue if design of slope against seismic activity is necessary. In this paper, necessity and seismic analysis method are discussed.

Cement-milk filled in prebored space has high possibility to leak into surrounding soil when ‘prebored and precast piles’ are constructed according the soil and ground water conditions. The effects of this phenomenon on the lateral resistance are analyzed through the static lateral resistance tests. The 15 mock-up piles are installed to the ground and cement-milk is filled up to the 100% , 75%, and 50% of total lengths of piles from the bottom.

Post-tension system was applied most PSC bridges in Korea. Also Grouting was applied to prevent corrosion of the strand. For this reason, it is difficult to inspection the condition of the strand after completion. Therefore, in this paper, the Nondestructive testings(NDTs) developed at domestic and foreign was investigated. In addition, the current level and limit of the NDTs were analyzed considering the existing bridge environment. As a result of the study, Strand condition inspection using NDTs have been analyzed to have technical and environmental limitations.

In this study, the grouting condition and the corrosion of prestressing steel in old PSCI bridges were investigated. There are many places where the construction quality of the grout is poor to prevent the corrosion of prestressing steel. Partial surface corrosion was found regardless of the construction condition of the grout.

Recently, there has been frequent shortage of expansion joint in expressway bridges. When that happens, maintenance budgets will be overloaded and not effective, so it is not easy to come up with a solution. In this study, we introduce a bridge inspection system that combines laser image sensing technology and automatic control technology, which have been recently applied in various fields. And this system was developed to measure bridge extension joints while traveling 100km/h.

To suggest the preliminary data for effective maintenance of bridge structures, the damage patterns of expressway bridges are quantitatively analyzed in the present study. The defects are the primary damage, and the deterioration occurred around the joint.

The purpose of this study is to estimate the thickness of concrete slabs using the impact echo method based on the stress waves, which is one of the nondestructive test method, to evaluate the safety and construction conditions of concrete slabs. If the correlation and reliability of the impact echo method and the slab thickness are secured, it can be considered that the quality control of the concrete slab is possible in existing structures and structures under construction.

This study investigated and analyzed the housing type of North Korea and the current status of standard housing construction. The purpose of this study is to establish a strategy for securing the safety of North Korean standard houses with relatively low structural performance compared to South Korea. In addition, we will use this data as basic data for planning a low-cost emergency reinforcement method to prepare against the natural disasters that are taking place frequently.

The purpose of this study is to compare the ultrasonic pulse velocity before and after core compression test of steel fiber reinforced concrete using the ultrasonic pulse velocity method. The correlation between the column member ultrasonic pulse velocity before core test, the column member ultrasonic pulse velocity after core test, and the compressive strength of the core specimen were analyzed by fabricating a steel fiber reinforced concrete hollow column member.

In this paper, the shear performance of the deep beams with high strength headed reinforcement was evaluated. The experimental parameters are high strength headed bar a gunboat. The shear span-depth ratio (a/d) of specimens was 1. The development length of headed reinforcement was evaluated to have a great influence on the shear strength of the deep beam.

High-rise buildings in recent years are increasing demand for high strength. However, the higher the floor, the greater the weight of the building, resulting in structural problems. In this study, the shear span ratio was equal to 1.5, and the effect of the web width (100 mm, 150 mm) on the shear strength of I-type flexural members was evaluated.

In this study, structural behaviors such as ultimate strength and fracture shape of duplex stainless steel (STS329FLD) fillet-welded connections according to welding direction were investigated through monotonic tensile test. Main variables are weld length and welding direction against the loading direction. Specimens of SDTFW series (transverse to the loading direction) and SDLFW series (longitudinal to the loading direction) failed by tensile fracture and shear fracture, respectively. Ultimate strengths got higher with the increase of weld length and SDTFW series showed higher ultimate strengths than SDLFW series.

In this study, the bridge management system framework for the application of UAV collection data was proposed. The framework of UAV Bridge Management System(UBMS) is designed based on algorithm of Bridge Management System(BMS), administered by MOLIT. The UAV Bridge Management System will help facility managers to conduct safety diagnosis by providing rapid procedure.
