This study examines the relationship between multiple sales force management practices and performance within each of Miles & Snowꡑs strategy types(1978) and Walker & Ruekertꡑ s strategy types(1987). The findings are as follows : First, Prospectors seem to be associated with increased performance when they are utilizing a relationship selling strategy, internal sales force, moderate levels of supervision, outcome-based control system and incentive-oriented compensation system. Second, Analyzers seem to be associated with increased performance when they are utilizing a relationship selling strategy, internal sales force, outcome-based control system to deal with the instability in their strategic focus. Third, Low Cost Defender seem to be associated with increased performance when they are utilizing a relationship selling strategy, external sales force, low levels of supervision, outcome-based control system and salary-oriented compensation system. Fourth, Differentiated Defenders seem to be associated with increased performance when they are utilizing a relationship selling strategy, high levels of supervision, balanced(outcome+behavior) control system and salary-oriented compensation system.

전라남도 여수시의 거문도, 초도, 손죽도 주변해역에서 1998년 11월부터 1999년 10월까지 12회 걸쳐 새우조망에 어획된 새우류의 종조성과 계절변동을 조사하였다. 조사해역의 수심은 20∼80m이고, 이 해역의 저층 수온의 연중범위는 8.3∼21.3℃이며, 저질은 니질대 또는 사니질이었다. 조사기간 동안 채집된 새우류는 총 11과 26속 37종 702,681개체가 출현하고 우점종은 그라비새우 48.52%, 긴줄꼬마도화새우 21.83%, 민새우 11.25%, 대롱수염새우 7.24%로 나타났다. 꽃새우, 민새우, 그라비새우는 15개 전 정점에서 골고루 출현하였으며, 대롱수염새우, 산모양깔깔새우, 긴줄꼬마도화새우는 거문도 주변해역(C구역)에서 출현하였으며, 중하, 긴발딱총새우는 초도, 손죽도 주변해역(A, B구역)에서만 출현하였다. 군집구조를 나타내는 종다양도 지수, 균등도 지수, 우점도지수는 정점 13에서 0.73과 0.61로 다양성 지수와 균등도 지수 가장 높게 나타내었고, 정점 4에서 0.14, 0.11로 가장 낮은 다양성 지수와 균등도 지수를 나타내었다. 정점별 군집의 유사도에 의하면 같은 수역인 정점 1, 7에서 0.673으로 가장 유사하고, 유사도 0.25 수준에서 거문도수역 집단(정점 10, 11)과 초도, 손죽도수역집단(정점 1∼9)으로 구분되는 것으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 국내기업의 국제전략적제휴를 대상으로 전략적제휴의 사업성과 결정요인을 분석하였다. 지난 1990년부터 2000년까지 국내기업이 체결한 국제전략적제휴를 연구대상으로 전체 23개 산업에 걸쳐 52개의 국내기업들이 체결한 124건의 제휴사례를 연구대상으로 하였다. 가설검증을 위해서 요인분석, 군집분석, 분산분석, 비모수통계분석을 시행하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻었다. 국내기업의 국제전략적 제휴 유형은 파트너기업과의 조직간 상호작용정도와 잠재적갈등정도에 따라 친경쟁적 제휴, 비경쟁적 제휴, 선경쟁적 제휴, 경쟁적 제휴 등 네가지 유형으로 나타났다. 전략적 제휴의 유형별로 사업성과가 다르게 나타났다. 비경쟁적 제휴가 사업성과가 가장 높게 나타났으며 친경쟁적 제휴는 상대적으로 사업성과가 가장 낮게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는, 전략적 제휴의 유형과 사업성과에 관한 연구를 통하여 전략적 제휴와 산업의 관련성, 경쟁자와의 관계, 조직간 상호작용과 갈등의 문제들이 사업성과와 밀접한 관련이 있다는 것을 의미한다.

“Politics,” the last of W. B. Yeats’s Collected Poems (Richard Finneran’s New Edition), ends with the poet's wish for fulfillment of sexual desire and love: “But O that I were young again / And held her in my arms.” Yeats wrote this poem in May 1938, eight months before his death. In another poem, “A Prayer for Old Age,” written in 1934, the poet prays that he “may seem . . . A foolish, passionate man.” In these and other poems of Yeats’s last years, “lust and rage” really seem to “dance attendance upon [his] old age” and “spur [him] into song” (“The Spur”). This paper is an attempt to understand the last years of Yeats’s life and poetry in terms of sexuality and love. The first part of this paper discusses the Steinach operation which Yeats underwent in 1934, when he was 68 years old. Although it is uncertain that the operation had brought the poet the expected “second puberty,” it seems to have had an psychologically positive effect upon his writing of poetry. During the last five years after the operation, Yeats wrote almost fifty poems, which is surprising number considering his old age and precarious health. In this part of the paper, the present writer reads some poems in which the poet's feeling and thought about sexuality and love in these final years of his life are most clearly expressed: “A Prayer for Old Age,” “The Spur,” “The Wild Old Wicked Man,” and the sequence of “Supernatural Songs.” After the operation Yeats met Margot Ruddock, Dorothy Wellesley, Ethel Mannin, and Edith Shackleton Heald, all of them being young, pretty, and intelligent women. They were poets (Ruddock and Wellesley), a novelist (Mannin), and a journalist (Heald). The second part of this paper deals with the poet’s meetings with these women, and reads the poems which are based upon, and reveal the nature of, their relations: “Margot,” “Sweet Dancer,” “A Crazed Girl,” “To Dorothy Wellesley,” and “The Three Bushes.”

우리나라와 국가 규모가 비슷한 이스라엘의 경우에는 벤처캐피탈이 정부주도로 출범한 후 육성71었다. 이러한 벤처캐피탈의 특성은 창업자가 연구개발에만 전념할 수 있어서 제품의 품질을 높일 수 있으며 동시에 사업이나 제품 완성도를 높일 수 있는 부가가치가 큰 중요한 금융업이 될 전망이다. 이번 연구에서는 이러한 벤처캐피탈이 가지고 있는 위험특성에 대한 분석과 위험을 고려한 투자성과 평가를 행하였다. 이번 연구에서는 선행연구와 동일하게 비체계적 위험이 체계적 위험보다 큰 것으로 나타났는데 이는 소수의 지역이나 업종에 집중투자한 결과로 보인다. Sharpe 평가지표의 결과로는 종합주가지수나 코스닥지수보다 열등한 것으로 분석되어 우리나라 벤처캐피탈의 열악함이 대변되고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다.

We could not find researches for relationship between safety performance and business performance in comparison with other research areas. Then in this paper we suggest the hypotheses which can systematically explain the relationship between safety performance and business performance and analyze the effects of safety performance on business performance through regression analysis. In order to develop the regression model between safety performance and business performance, the previous studies both for environmental management and for quality management had been reviewed. We obtained the result that the number of the injured persons in occupational accident and the number of lost work day because of the accident which are selected as measurement for safety performance had an effect on business performance through empirical analysis both for large 43 enterprises and for small and medium 30 enterprises. Also we had found that the control variables selectively 3had an effect on business performance. Finally, we concluded that the safety performance had an effect on business performance both for large enterprise and for small and medium enterprise.

효과적인 수출마케팅 전략을 개발하는 것은 수출성과를 높이는데 매우 중요하다. 지금까지 수출 마케팅전략과 수출성과의 관계에 대한 연구는 주로 선진국 수출기업을 대상으로 선진국의 관점에서 진행되어 왔다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 수출 마케팅전략과 수출성과와의 관계를 수출주도형 경제발전전략으로 성공한 중진국인 한국의 경험에 비추어 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 수출 마케팅 전략의 다섯 가지 주요 마케팅 믹스, 예를 들어 제품, 브랜드, 가격, 유통, 촉진 믹스가 한국 기업의 수출성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보았다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 고유 브랜드의 사용, 제품 적응 전략, 가격 적응 전략, 직접 수출 경로 및 해외 유통업체에 대한 판촉 등이 수출 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 해외 광고비와 해외 전시회 참가 등은 수출성과에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 연구결과와 선진국의 수출기업을 대상으로 한 과거 연구 결과와의 비교가 이루어지고 한국 및 개도국 기업의 수출마케팅전략에 대한 시사점이 제시되었다.

합작투자 기업의 지분 구조 변화는 합작 기업에 대한 경영권과 통제권의 변화를 초래한다는 측면에 합작 투자 파트너에게 중요한 의미를 가진다. 합작기업의 경영 성과는 이러한 지분 구조 변화를 비롯한 합작투자 기업의 동태적 구조변화에 중대한 영향을 미칠 수 있는 변수임에도 불구하고 일부 연구에서 지분구조의 변화와 합작 기업의 성과와의 관계에 대한 가설을 제시하는 수준에 그쳐 실증적 뒷받침이 없었을 뿐만 아니라, 그 방향에 대해서도 상반된 예측이 가능하여 이에 대한 엄밀한 실증 연구가 필요하다. 또한 합작투자 기업의 성과가 지분 구조의 변화에 영향을 미침에 있어서 초기 지분 구조가 지분 구조 변화를 용이하게 하거나 어렵게 만드는 조절 변수로서 작용할 가능성에 대해서도 연구된 바가 없다. 이러한 선행연구의 한계를 보완하기 위해 본 연구에서는 1985년에서 1989년 기간 중 국내에 투자한 합작투자기업을 대상으로 실증분석을 실시하였다. 실증 분석 결과 첫째, 산업평균에 비해 합작투자기업의 성과가 양호하거나 부진할 수록 지분구조의 변화 가능성이 증가하였다. 둘째, 합작투자기업의 성과가 지분구조 변화에 영향을 미침에 있어서 불균등 지분 구조인 기업이 균등 지분 구조인 기업보다 성과로 인한 지분 구조의 변화 가능성이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 실증결과에 의거할 때 합작투자기업의 성과와 지분구조의 변화간에는 단순 선형적 관계가 아나라 산업평균과 비교하여 편차가 클수록 지분구조의 변화 가능성이 증가하는 관계가 존재하는 것으로 확인되었다. 더불어 합작투자기업의 초기 지분구조는 이후 지분구조의 변화를 촉진하거나 억제하는 조절변수로서의 역할을 하는 것으로 확인되었다.
