        Agrophotovoltaic (APV) system is an integrated system producing crops as well as solar energy. Because crop production underneath Photovoltaic (PV) modules requires delicate management of crops, smart farming equipment such as real-time remote monitoring sensors (e.g., soil moisture sensors) and micro-climate monitoring sensors (e.g., thermometers and irradiance sensors) is installed in the APV system. This study aims at introducing a decision support system (DSS) for smart farming in an APV system. The proposed DSS is devised to provide a mobile application service, satellite image processing, real-time data monitoring, and performance estimation. Particularly, the real-time monitoring data is used as an input of the DSS system for performance estimation of an APV system in terms of production yields of crops and monetary benefit so that a data-driven function is implemented in the proposed system. The proposed DSS is validated with field data collected from an actual APV system at the Jeollanamdo Agricultural Research and Extension Services in South Korea. As a result, farmers and engineers enable to efficiently produce solar energy without causing harmful impact on regular crop production underneath PV modules. In addition, the proposed system will contribute to enhancement of the smart farming technology in the field of agriculture.

        This study analyzed the nutritional composition (proximate composition, total dietary fiber, calories, minerals, fatty acids, and amino acids) of 10 noodle products (tteok ramyun, jjamppong ramyun, kimchi ramyun, instant udon, cup ramyun, jajangmyun, bibimmyun, cream spaghetti, ssalguksu, and milmyun), which account for 85% of the cumulative intake of one or more key nutrients, using data from the 7th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. The moisture contents of bibimmyun, jajangmyun, and cream spaghetti were lower than those of the other noodle products, whereas the crude fat, crude protein, carbohydrate, and calorie contents were the highest. Cream spaghetti had the highest mineral, fatty acid, and amino acid contents, followed by bibimmyun and jajangmyun. Ssalguksu had the lowest contents of most nutrients. These data could be used to populate a food composition database, which can provide consumers with the nutritional information about frequently consumed noodle products.

        본 연구는 삼국연의 영어 번역사에서 중요한 위상을 지니는 번역가 브레위트-타 일러의 번역 성취에 대한 고찰이다. 영국인 브레위트-타일러는 1880년 중국으로 건 너가서 40년 동안 중국의 주요 도시에 머무르며 인재 양성과 해관 및 우정 업무에 종사했다. 그는 푸저우선정학당에서 후학을 양성하면서 틈틈이 삼국연의를 번역하 여 홍콩의 영문월간지 차이나 리뷰에 발표했다. 1888년부터 손책의 사망 고사, 좌 자 고사, 초선 고사 등 삼국연의 일부를 번역했으며, 삼국연의에 관한 평론도 썼 다. 그는 영국문화와의 유사성 속에서 삼국연의를 이해하고 받아들였으며, 서양인 의 독서 수월성을 위해 의역과 축약의 번역방법을 동원하여 가독성 높은 완역본을 만들어내었고, 1925년 양장본 형식으로 캘리앤웰시출판사에서 출판하였다.

        본고는 두십낭 고사가 명나라 말기 송무징의 전기「負情儂傳」에서 기원하여 풍몽룡의 백화단편소설「 두십낭이 분노하여 백보상을 던지다(杜十娘怒沉百寶箱)」 를 거쳐 임어당의『미스 두(Miss Tu)』로 변천한 과정을 고찰하였다. 송무징은 유가의 열녀 형상에 입각하여 역사가의 객관적 태도와 역사서술방식을 차용해서 두십낭을 이상적으로 묘사했다.「負情儂傳」이 두십낭의 원망을 위로하기 위한 서사였다면, 풍몽룡은 변치않는 사랑을 실천한 두십낭을 송양 하고 독자를 교화하기 위해 다시 썼다. 그리고 등장인물의 선행과 악행에 따른 인과응보의 결말을 첨가함으로써 교훈성을 강화했다. 임어당의『미스 두』는 뛰어난 노래재능을 사회에서 인정받고, 평등한 사랑을 주체적으로 추구하는 근대적 여성으로 두십낭을 형상화했다. 그리고 남자주인공을 동정하고 변호하면서, 이들의 애정비극은 남성의 배신으로 인한 것이 아니라 낭만적 애정의 속성으로 인해 빚어진 것이라고 강조했다. 이리하여 두십낭 고사는 낭만적 사랑에 대한 찬사와 그 위험성을 알리는 근대적 애정소설로 진화하였다.

        본고는 명대 백화단편소설이 18세기에 최초로 영어로 번역된 이후 20세기 전반기까지 약 200년 동안 영어권 독자들에게 수용되어간 상황에 대해 고찰하였다. 명대 백화단편소설은 서양인 선교사의 선교활동과 유럽의 제국주의적 확장정책이 시작될 무렵에 번역되기 시작하여, 19세기와 20세기 동안 지속적으로 번역되어왔다. 본고에서는 번역본이 나온 시간적 순서에 따라 번역의 맥락과 특징 그리고 전유 양상 등을 중심으로 서술하였다. 18세기에 나온 최초의 번역은 불역본을 통한 간접번역이었으며, 19세기에 들어와서야 비로소 중국원전에서 직접 번역하기 시작했고 원문에 충실한 번역태도가 나타났다. 19세기까지 번역의 주체는 모두 서양인이었으며, 발표지면은 대부분 대중적인 신문잡지였고, 출판지역은 영국 런던, 오스트레일리아 세일, 일본 요코하마, 스코틀랜드 에딘버러, 중국의 홍콩, 광동, 상해 등 글로벌 국제도시에 두루 걸쳐있었다. 20세기에 들어서면서 중국인 번역가가 비로소 출현하였고 앤솔로지 형식의 단행본이 많이 출간되었으며 번역가의 번역의도에 따라 명대 백화 단편소설은 충실하게 또는 자유롭게 번역되었다.

        Background: The Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and the Fullerton Advanced Balance (FAB) scale have been used to assess balance function in patients with chronic stroke. These clinical balance scales provide information about potential risk factors for falls. Objects: The purpose of this study was to investigate the incidence of and risk factors of falls and compare the predictive values of the BBS and FAB scale relative to fall risk in patients with stroke through receiver operating characteristic analysis. Methods: Sixty-three patients with stroke (faller=34, non-faller=29) who could walk independently for 10 meters participated in this study. The BBS and FAB scale were administered. Then, we verified the cut-off score, sensitivity, specificity, and the area of under the curve. Results: In this study, the BBS and FAB scale did not predict fall risk in patients with stroke in the receiver operator characteristic curve analysis. A cut-off score of 37.5 points provided sensitivity of .47 and specificity of .35 on the BBS, and a cut-off score of 20.5 points provided sensitivity of .44 and specificity of .45 on the FAB scale.         To investigate the toxicological effects of β-glucan, we performed basic studying on β-glucan in Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. Standard endpoints in this study included mortality, clinical observations, changes of body weights, analysis on food consumption, ophthalmoscopic examination, hematologic examination, serum biochemistry,analysis of organ weights, gross anatomic pathology and histopathology. No clinical signs and mortality were observed in animals treated with beta-glucan throughout the experimental period. The average body weight of each treatment groups showed similar levels at end of experiment. There were no treatment-related changes in mortality,body weights changes, food consumption, ophthalmoscopic examination. Although there were statistically significant differences between the control and treated groups in some relative and absolute organ weights, and hematological and biochemical analysis, the data were in biologically normal ranges and did not show a dose-dependent manner. In the morphological change, hepatic tissue were not showed ballooning degeneration and irregular arrangement of hepatic cell in β-glucan treatment groups with control group. Also, organs weights (liver, heart, kidney and stomach) and hematological indices (WBC, RBC, Hb, Hct and Platelet) did not show statistically significant differences among the experimental groups. In summary of these results, there were no changes in mortality, mean body weight, clinical signs, food consumption. There were no changes in ophthalmological examination, hematology, blood chemistry,necropsy and histopathology. In conclusion, although further investigation of glucan should be performed in the functions registered in many ancient literatures, β-glucan is physiologically safe and may have potential as candidate food for human health.
