        Cytokines play a vital role in the host immune response by regulating the development and function of im munocompetent ce11s One immunomodulatory agent that has received attention in oncology research recently is interleukin - lO(IL-lO). IL-IO inhibi ted tumor antigen presenta tion and induced energy in T lymphocytes that had been s timu lated by autologous MHC class II positive tumor ce11s Patients with head and neck cancer have been shown to exhibit profound irnmunosuppression. The mechani sm by which tumor ce11s alter immunological function in the host is poorly understood. Recently. production of biological active IL- IO was confirmed in ovar‘ian cancer, melanoma, skin cancel‘ & head and neck cancer, suggesting that IL- lO reduces the function of tumor infiltrating lymphocytes and contributes to the tumor growth. IL-IO expression has not been examined extensively in human oral cancer and has not yet been cla rified. The purpose of t his study were to investigate IL-IO mRNA and protein expression in NHOK, IHOK and oral squamous ce11 carcinoma(OSCC) ce11 line by RT-PCR and irnmunoslot blotting, and to apply its results to examine its thera peutic significance for oraJ cancers. Cultured NHOK showed a lower level of IL-IO mRNA and protein expression than cultured IHOK and HN 22 OSCC cell line under pre and postconfluency. HN 22 OSCC cell line under pre and postconfl u ency. showed the highest level of IL-I0 Cul tured IHOK showing a intermediate expression of IL- IO could be as a vaJ u a bJe marker for oral carci nogenesis ste p. During the terminal differentiation of a11 the ce11 lines, IL- IO ex pression was significantly unchangeabl e. IL- IO mRNA expression of a11 the ce11 lines was consistent with IL-10 protein expression. It suggested that IL- lO expression might play an important role in oral carcinogenesis and IHOK could be a valuable marker for oral carcinogenesis step. And aJso IL- 10 related gene may be future targets for gene discovery and possi bJy therapeutic intervention

        Established SGT cell line from human submandibular gland adenocarcinoma was used to study the TGase expression on a cellular level in vitro. Transglutaminase 2(TGase 2) is assoacitated with apoptosis, GTP binding protein, and cell marix interaction. The role of TGase 2 in salivary gland tumors is not clear yet. The pupose of this study were to examine the TGase expression of SGT cell line compared to other tumor cell lines, and to apply these results to the pathogenesis of salivary gland tumor. TGase enzyme assay of SGT, SCC-15, HN 4 and HeLa tumor cell line was 3 times repeated, and calculated. Immunoslot blot for semiquantitative protein analysis was done. The obtained results were as follows. 1. SGT cell line showed the highest TGase 2 enzyme activity(about 6-16 folds) irrespective of pre or postconfluency. 2. HN 4 cell line showed the highest TGase 1 enzyme activity(about 2-3 folds) irrespective of pre or postconfluency. 3. Under postconfluency TGase 1 induction was not induced, but slightly increased in all tumor cell lines. 4. TGase enzyme activity in all tumor cell lines was accompanied with TGase protein formation. From the aboving results, the higher TGase 2 expression of SGT cell line suggested that they would come from submandibular ductal cells and have a important role in the pathogensis of salivary gland tumors.

        자동차, 항공기 및 기타 산업에서 복합재료의 사용은 증가되어 왔고 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이러한 복합재료중의 하나인 carbon-epoxy 복합재료의 열 특성에 관하여 알아보았다. 반복적인 냉각과 가열이 부가된 후 복합재료의 탄성계수의 변화를 관찰하여 봄으로써 복합재료가 가지고 있는 여러 열 특성에 관하여 여러 열 특성에 관하여 연구하였다. 이 연구에서는 G(sub)13값은 약한 감소하기는 하였으나 별다른 변화를 보이지 않았으며 열충격의 경우가 열피로의 경우보다 변화량이 작았다. E1값은 가해진 온도와 가열 횟수에 따라하여 조금씩 증가하였고, E2, G(sub)23값은 열피로의 경우 처음에는 어느 정도 그 값이 감소하나 가해진 횟수에는 큰 영향을 받지 않았으며 열충격의 경우에는 온도에 따라 다른 현상을 보였다.

        자동차, 항공기 및 기타 산업에서 복합재료의 사용은 증가되어 왔고 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이러한 복합재료중의 하나인 Carbon-epoxy 복합재료의 열 특성에 관하여 알아보았다. 반복적인 냉각과 가열이 부가되는 열 피로에서 복합재료의 탄성계수의 변화를 관찰하여 봄으로써 복합재료가 가지고 있는 여러 열 특성에 관하여 연구하였다. 일반적으로 복합재료는 온도가 증가하면 탄성계수가 감소한다고 알려져 있다. 이러한 결과와는 달리 본 연구에서 수행한 실험에서는 열 피로가 부가되었을 때에는 어느 정도 온도까지는 탄성계수가 증가하다가 다시 감소하는 특이한 현상을 관찰할 수 있었다.

        결량화 되고 고강도의재료를 요하는 자동차, 항공기, 선박, 각종 구조물 등 여러 분야에서 복합재료의 사용은 증가되어 왔고, 그에 따라 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Impulse Excitation Method을 통해 Transversely Isotropic한 재료의 공진 주파수를 측정함으로써 복합재료의 탄성계수를 구하였다. Timoshenko Beam Equation식에 나타나는 회전관성효과와 전단변형을 고려하였을 때와 고려하지 않았을 때 재료의 탄성계수에 변화가 어떻게 나타나는 가를 관찰하였다.

        This paper is a study on standard testing method for type approval of DSC which is the main structure of the terrestrial communication. As authority inspecting offices and producers have no experience for type approval of relative equipments as adapting GMDSS. In this paper, it is to be improved the understanding for type approval ; a system, standard of technic and testing methods, etc and make better quality of relative equipments. Additionally it could help quality and quantity improvement in all radiocommunication parts. Of course, the regulation for type approval had made but most makers didn't know it correctly, so the method of solution have been studied. By result of this study, with comparision and analysis of structure and a condition of efficiency with adapting GMDSS is could help some problems slove in the field and gave testing method of machinery and tools, electrical conditions, came out measurement and did ways standard efficiency.
