        This study was conducted to determine the optimum conditions for the treatment of polyamine to promote pollen germination and improve the fruiting rate by overcoming fertilization defects in low-temperature strawberry cultivation. The optimum temperature for pollen germination of strawberries was 30 for Seolhyang and 25 for Maehyang, and Seolhyang had a higher pollen germination rate than that of Maehyang. The addition of polyamines, namely spermine and putrescine to the medium improved the pollen germination rate and spermine treatment showed a better effect than putrescine treatment. The proper polyamine type and treatment concentration for enhancing the potency of pollen germination was 500 μM of spermine for both Seolhyang and Maehyang, which improved the pollen germination rate by 19-23% compared with that of the control. However, combined treatment of spermine and putrescine, resulted in a lower germination rate lower than that of the single treatment. Our results indicated that the treatment of polyamines during flowering in protected cultivation of strawberrise can improve the fruiting rate by overcoming the problem of poor pollen germination due to low temperature.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of defoliation treatment on the growth and yield of strawberries. There was a remarkable growth in the above-ground part and root of untreated strawberry plants possibly due to higher amount of photosynthesis, while overall plant growth was suppressed as the level of defoliation treatment increased. In both the “Seolhyang” and “Maehyang” cultivars examined, defoliation treatment resulted in small fruits and a low number of fruits per plant. Notably, 50% defoliation significantly reduced the number of fruits per plant to 8.2, compared to 13.8 in untreated plants. Defoliation treatment also negatively influenced the fruit quality including color, sugar content, and solid-acid rate. However, no significant changes in fruit firmness was observed in either cultivar. Therefore, retaining enough leaves without defoliation treatment can be important to increasing fruit yield, producing high quality fruits and saving labor required for defoliation.

        천연산 일라이트(K0.65Al2(Al0.65Si3.35)O10(OH)2) 분말 시료에 대해 물과 알코올(메탄올:에탄올 = 4:1 체적 비, ME41)의 두 가지 압력매개체를 이용한 다이아몬드앤빌셀 고압 회절실험을 진행하였다. 물을 이용한 실 험에서는 층간 유입을 유도하기 위해 약 250oC까지 열을 가하는 과정을 거치며 최대 약 2.7GPa까지 압력을 가하였고, 알코올을 이용한 실험에서는 상온에서 최대 약 6.9GPa까지 가압하면서 방사광 분말 회절법을 통 해 시료의 압축특성을 관찰하였다. 위와 같은 조건에서는 층간의 확장이나 상전이는 관찰되지 않았다. 물과 알코올의 서로 다른 압력매개체 하에서 압축된 일라이트의 체적탄성률(K0)은 각각 45(3) GPa와 51(3) GPa로 도출되어 오차범위 내에서 크게 다르지 않음을 확인하였다. 또한 회절자료 분석결과 격자상수에 따른 선형압 축률은 알코올 압력매개체일 때 βa, βb, βc의 값이 각각 0.0025 GPa-1, 0.0029 GPa-1, 0.0144 GPa-1로 도출되어 c-축의 압축률이 약 6배 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구에서 확인된 일라이트의 체적탄성률 및 선형압축률을 일라이트와 구조적으로 유사한 백운모와 비교하였다.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of shading on the growth and productivity of strawberries. Photosynthesis was normally achieved under natural light without shading treatment, and vegetative growth of under- and aboveground part of strawberry plants were excellent. Strawberry fruit productivity and quality were different depending on shading conditions. In natural light, they were improved possibly by balanced vegetative and reproductive growth. However, under light-shading conditions with insufficient sunshine, photosynthetic activity deteriorated and carbohydrate production was therfore inadequate; this adversely affected plant height and quality. The negative effects were more pronounced at 50% shading condition. Shading treatments resulting in insufficient sunshine had a detrimental impact on plant productivity and growth; this implies that proper shading conditions could heip improve yield and fruit quality.

        In this study, we investigated the influences of abnormal high temperature on growth, yield and physiologically active substances of the strawberry. General strawberry cultivars in the 20℃ growth condition showed much better growth of leaf number, length, diameter along with plant height, compared with those in 22.5℃ or 25℃. But the cultivars of both ‘Sulhyang’ and ‘Mehyang’ showed good growth and development at 25℃ with the roots showing great growth at 20℃. The quality and yield of the strawberry were best in the 20℃ growth condition, but the merchantability deteriorated in the 25℃ high temperature condition. As for the content of the physiologically active substances of the strawberry, it increased at 20℃, the optimum growth temperature, but decreased at 25℃. The physiologically active substances in the strawberry differed among the cultivars, the contents of cyanidin-3-glucoside, cinchonine, ellagic acid and cinnamic acid higher in the ‘Mehyang’, whereas the content of fisetin is higher in the ‘Sulhyang’ cultivar.Consequentially, the high temperature in summer has a negative effect on the physiological active ingredients of the strawberry, which was increased in the strawberry cultivated at proper temperature, and high quality strawberry production was possible.

        We investigated the effect of PE film thickness on the modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) deastringency of ‘Sanggamdungsi’ (Diospyros kaki cv.) astringent persimmon at room temperature (25°C) and low temperature (-1°C). The fruits were individually packaged with PE film of which the thickness is 60, 80, 100, 115 or 130 μm and stored at room or low (-1°C) temperature. At room temperature, firmness shows the highest value (23.3-26.5) at 100 μm thickness. Top flesh browning and decay was monitored at 20 days after storage, and peel blackening and style-end softening was negligible at optimal thickness. Therefore, optimal film thickness of deastringency at room temperature is 80-100 μm. At this thickness, the astringency was removed after 5 days and the fruits can be distributed until 10 days after the MAP. At low (-1°C) temperature, firmness was maintained regardless of film thickness. However, the firmness is higher as the film is thicker. Top flesh browning and decay was not occurred even after 90 days after storage. Peel blackening and style-end softening was monitored at 90 days after storage. Off-flavor was monitored at 115 and 130 μm thickness. Therefore, optimal film thickness of deastringency at low (-1°C) temperature is 80-100 μm. At this thickness, the astringency was removed after 50 days and the fruits can be distributed until 80 days after the MAP.

        천연산 녹주석(Be3Al2Si6O18, P6/mcc) 중 산출지가 각각 다른 아쿠아마린 시료인 녹주석-A, 녹주 석-B를 물을 압력전달 매개체로 사용하여 고압실험 및 고온-고압실험을 실시하였다. 기존 문헌과 다르 게 압력전달 매개체로 물을 이용했을 때 고압 및 고온-고압 상태에서 녹주석의 조성과 구조에 어떠한 영향을 주며 탄성 특성이 어떻게 변하는지를 확인하기 위함이다. 그 결과 녹주석-A, B의 체적탄성률은 각각 111(7) GPa, K0’ = 73(7); 110(9) GPa, K0’ = 65(8)로 확인되었다. 이는 기존 연구에서 메탄올 에탄 올 4 : 1 체적비로 혼합하여 관찰한 것과 다른 값 및 경향성을 보여주는 것으로 확인하였으며 관찰된 녹주석의 치밀화는 ICE VI, ICE VII 상변이 구간인 약 1.0 GPa, 약 2.5 GPa 구간과 일치하였다.

        The Infrared-Thermography Technique is widely used for nondestructive evaluation (NDE) of structures due to its convenience. Particularly, various techniques have been tried to detect imperfections such as surface defects and welding defects of steel structures. This paper is a part of a study to detect defects in weld zone in steel structures using Infrared Thermography techniques. Finally, defects were detected by comparing infrared thermal image and surface temperature data of defected area with healthy area.

        This study was made to examine the motion characteristics according to the reinforcement of the reinforcement length and stiffener reinforcement for shear reinforcement to the foundation structure reinforced with shear reinforcement steel plate. Experimental study was made after specimen was installed on the ground as the same as in the practical site. Reinforcement lengths of the steel for shear reinforcement are divided into 1,000 mm, 1,200 mm and 1,400 mm in the specimen and as for reinforcement method of the stiffener, 4 stiffeners with interval of 100mm reinforced with the same materials as the shear reinforcement were manufactured for the experiment. Considering result of the experiment, it is expressed that no effect of the stiffener reinforcement was found and regarding the reinforcement length of shear reinforcement material the crossed point of the two converted lines of the value that the shear force is expressed in the bearing power in the expanded dangerous section and the value that the shear capacity receivable by the reinforcement materials in the dangerous section is proposed as effective reinforcement length.

        The present study was conducted to development mass production methods for peanut sprouts that is considered as a field of blue ocean among the agricultural products. 'Jopyeong' was the best as a major cultivar for peanut sprouts production. The manual for the production of high-quality peanut sprouts is as following. Germination temperature appropriate for production of high-quality peanut sprouts was 27℃. Peanut sprouts at the growth stage of 8th day, and older plants with advanced growth showed deteriorated merchantable and eating quality. Resveratrol compound was not found in the seeds, but its highest amount was detected from 9-day old sprouts. The best water temperature applicable to high quality peanut sprout production was 25℃. The growth of peanut sprout was inhibited by the high temperatures above 35℃ and low temperatures below 15℃.

        The present study was conducted to develop seed treatment for the production of healthy and clean peanut sprout. Dry heat treatment of peanut seeds reduced the incidence of the rot. The seed treatment condition at 52℃ for 10 h. was the most efficient without inhibiting seed viability significantly. Seeds were dark cultured at 27℃ for up to 9 days. The treatment of Indole-B and gibberellic acid influenced germination, T50, fresh, dry weight, hypocotyl length, hypocotyl length diameter, root length, number of lateral root and epicotyl of peanut sprout. There were no differences in the germinability of peanut seeds between gibberellic acid treatment methods but higher fresh weight was observed in the GA3 solution spray after 2 hour water soaking. The general growth and lateral root development of peanut sprouts were suppressed by Indole-B which is used for inhibiting root formation and promoting hypocotyls. The treatment of gibberellic acid promoted hypocotyl elongation, but it did not influence on the growth of hypocotyls and root system.

        Growth and physiological disorders caused by abnormally low temperatures were evaluated in pepper, an important field crop in Korea. In addition, the effects of chemical treatment using glutamine was verified on minimizing the damages by low temperature. The growth of pepper plants in stem length and diameter was suppressed as the temperature decreased from 25℃, and the suppression level was the highest for plants grown for 90 days at 20℃. However, root growth was not affected by the different temperatures. The number of leaf and leaf area decreased at the temperatures below 25C, an optimum temperature for growth. Fresh weight and dry weight decreased for plants grown at 20℃. Pepper fruit yield also decreased by 11% at 20℃ in comparison to 25℃. Falling blossom rate was different depending on the growth temperature, and the rate was 27.2% at 25℃, 35.2% at 22.5℃, and 41.0% at 20℃, indicating that falling blossom rate increased as temperature decreased. Different growth temperatures did not affected on the level of symptom of calcium deficiency and Phytopathora blight. Falling blossom was severe at abnormally low temperature of 20℃, but the treatment of glutamine reduced falling blossom rate and increased the yield by 7.0% as compared to control. The optimum concentration of glutamine treatment was 10 mg/L for yields.

        나트로라이트(Na-제올라이트)의 탈수현상에 따른 변화와 특성을 라만 및 X-선 회절실험을 통하여 고온, 동시적인 고온-고압 하에서 특성을 확인하였다. 고온실험은 최고 온도범위에 따라 ~450℃까지 증온한 XRD 실험에서는 가역적 변화를 관찰하였고, ~630℃까지 증온한 라만분광실험에서는 포스트라트로라이트로 상전이하는 비가역적인 변화를 관찰하였다. 감온과정 약 380℃에서 포스트 나트로라이트 상이 나타나는 온도구간을 본 연구에서 새롭게 확인하였다. 동시적인 고온-고압 하(상온 〈 T 〈 300℃, 0 GPa 〈 P 〈 2.1 GPa)에서 나트로라이트 분광선의 이동은 관찰되지 않았다.

        Eco deck plate system is a construction method that deconstruction of galvanized steel sheets is possible by integrating steel-wire-integrated girders and the galvanized steel sheets with bolts. Therefore, compared with previous steel-wire-integrated deck plates which were joined by welding, the system is acknowledged as the construction method possible management and repair. This study conducted an experimental research by manufacturing total 24 full size specimens in a same condition for 12-shape specimens by two parts to evaluate structural behaviors of the eco deck plates. In the results after the test, permissible deflection for the construction load action was shown to be values under design values and satisfactory. The processing of lattice steel wires was presented to be structurally advantageous in being manufactured by cutting downward. Also, in case of a specimen that D13 as a steel wire was used, destruction occurred at the welding part of the bottom steel wire and the lattice steel wire, so improvement measures for the welding in factory manufacture are necessary.

        본 연구는 원예치료프로그램이 시설에 거주하는 치매노인의 일상생활수행능력과 손기능에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 2008년 3월 13일부터 5월 24일까지 3개월간 실험군을 대상으로 원예치료프로그램을 회당 2시간씩 주 2회, 총 22회 실시하였다. 원예치료프로그램은 치매노인의 일상생활수행능력과 손기능 향상을 위해 친근하고 쉬우며 다양한 손동작을 필요로 하는 작업으로 구성하였다. 일상생활수행능력 경우 대조군은 원예치료 실시 전 14.7점에서 실시 후 13.7점으로 감소하였으나 유의성은 없었다(p=0.294).실험군은 실시 전 14.1점에서 실시 후 15.7점으로 1.6점 높아졌으며 p=0.05 수준에서 유의하게 향상되었다. 악력은 대조군의 경우 원예치료실시 전 5.75kg에서 실시 후 5.43kg으로 감소하였으나 유의차는 없었다(p=0.657).실험군의 경우 실시 전 4.83kg에서 실시 후 8.38kg으로 고도로 유의하게 (p<0.01)증가하였다. 손가락 근력은 대조군의 경우 원예치료실시 전 4.01kg에서 실시 후 4.11kg으로 0.1kg 증가하였으니 유의한 차이는 없었다(p=0.811).실험군은 원예치료 실시 전 4.83kg에서 실시 후 8.38kg으로 3.55kg 증가하였으며 고도로 유의한 차이(p<0.01)를 나타내었다. 이상의 결과로부터 치매노인에게 친숙하고 쉬우며 손기능에 적절한 원예치료의 적용은 시설에 거주하는 치매노인의 일상생활수행능력의 향상뿐만 아니라 손기능의 유지와 강화에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

        일체형 삼각 트러스 형태의 철선을 아연도금 강판에 용접한 철선일체형 데크 플레이트는 슬래브 시공 시 현장시공 최소 및 동바리와 지보공 등 거푸집 공사비 절감을 목적으로 개발되어 이미 많은 현장에 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 180mm 두께 슬래브에 적용 가능한 철선일체형 데크 플레이트 시스템을 개발하기 위해 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 상부철선, 하부철선, 래티스 철선, 경간, 단부가공방법을 변수로 채택하여 총 14개의 시험체를 실물크기로 제작하여 실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 시험체의 최종 파괴형태 변화 및 단부가공방법이 시험체의 구조 성능에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 하부철선의 영향보다는 래티스 철선이 시험체의 거동에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

        토양 하부 및 지하수에 생존하고 있는 미생물들이 지하수의 산화/환원전위 변화에 관여하는 사실을 알아보기 위해 미생물들을 주입한 수용액의 시간별 Eh 변화량을 측정하였다. 황산염환원 미생물이 주입된 경우 수용액의 Eh값이 5일 만에 -120 mV에서 -500 mV까지 떨어졌으며, 실험 결과 디설프리칸스 세균이 불가리스 세균보다 수용액을 환원하는 능력이 상대적으로 좋았다. 철환원 미생물인 스와넬라 세균의 경우 Eh값이 황산염환원 세균보다 조금 높은 -400 mV를 보여 주었다. 금속환원미생물에 의해 수용액의 Eh값이 떨어지는 동안 용존 황산염 혹은 산화철이 환원되고 맥키나와이트(FeS)라는 황화광물이 형성되기 시작하였다. 이러한 실험 결과를 바탕으로 일반 지하수의 산화/환원전위는 그 지하수에 생존하고 있는 지하미생물들의 대사 활동에 많은 영향을 받고 있다는 사실과 극환원된 지하수 및 생기원 황화광물들이 풍부한 지하 환경은 산화 핵종들이 환원된 형태로 침전되어 핵종 이동이 억제될 가능성이 높은 곳으로 판단된다.

        일체형 삼각 트러스 형태의 철선을 아연도금 강판에 용접한 철선일체형 데크 플레이트는 슬래브 시공 시 현장시공 최소 및 동바리와 지보공 등 거푸집 공사비 절감을 목적으로 개발되어 이미 많은 현장에 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 철선일체형 데크 플레이트 시스템의 구조성능 평가를 위해 상부철선, 하부철선, 래티스 철선, 경간, 단부가공방법을 변수로 채택하여 총 32개의 시험체를 실물크기로 제작하여 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과 시험체의 최종파괴형태 변화 및 단부가공방법이 시험체의 구조 성능에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났으며, 경간 3.2m 시험체는 래티스 철선으로 Φ4.5를 사용해도 큰 무리가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

        리트벨트 분석법과 저온에서 측정한 방사광 가속기 분말회절 자료를 이용하여 CFC-13 (CF3Cl; chlorotrifluoromethane) 분자체가 흡착된 제올라이트 Na,K-LSX (low-silica X or synthetic faujasite)의 구조분석을 수행하였으며, supercage 내의 6-ring주변에 CFC-13 분자체의 불소 원자와 LSX 제올라이트의 나트륨 양이온 간의 결합이 일어남을 확인하였다.
