        This paper has relatively high technical standard and experimental skill. The fabrication of TCO film with hightransparency, low resistance and low chromaticity require exact control of several competing factors. This paper has resolvedthese problems reasonably well, thus recommended for publication. Indium tin oxide(ITO) thin films were by D.C. magnetronroll-to-roll sputter system utilizing ITO and SiO2 targets of ITO and SiO2. In this experiment, the effect of D.C. power, windingspeed, and oxygen flow rate on electrical and optical properties of ITO thin films were investigated from the view point ofsheet resistance, transmittance, and chromaticity(b*). The deposition of SiO2 was performed with RF power of 400W, Ar gasof 50sccm and the deposition of ITO, DC power of 600W, Ar gas of 50sccm, O2 gas of 0.2sccm, and winding speed of 0.56m/min. High quality ITO thin films without SiO2 layer had chromaticity of 2.87, sheet resistivity of 400ohm/square, and trans-mittance of 88% and SiO2-doped ITO Thin film with chromaticity of 2.01, sheet resistivity of 709ohm/square, and transmittanceof more than 90% were obtained. As a result, SiO2 was coated on PET before deposition of ITO, their chromaticity(b*) andtransmittance were better than previous results of ITO films. These results show that coating of SiO2 induced arisingchromaticity(b*) and transmittance. If the thickness of SiO2 is controlled, sheet resistance value of ITO film will be expected tobe better for touch screen. A four point probe and spectrophotometer are used to investigate the properties of ITO thin films.

        이 연구의 목적은 두 가지로 대별할 수 있다. 첫째는, 베리오그램 모델링에 기초를 둔 정규크리깅 보간법의 p-적응적 유한요소법으로의 적용성이다. 둘째는, 수정된 초수렴 팻취복구 기법을 사용한 사후오차평가기와 연계된 계층적 p-체눈 세분화의 적응적 유한요소 과정을 제시하는 것이다. 가중치를 부여한 보간기법중의 하나인 정규크리깅 방법은 가우스 적분점에서의 응력데이타로 부터 소위 준정해를 얻는데 적용된다. 가중치를 동일하게 가정하는 종래의 보간기법과는 달리 실험적 및 이론적 베리오그램을 작성한 후 보간을 위한 가중치를 결정하게 된다. 한편, 적응적 p-체눈 세분화는 해석영역의 각 체눈에서 p-차수를 만족할만한 정확도를 얻을 수 있도록 프로그램내에서 자동으로 사후오차평가를 통해 불균등 또는 선택적으로 증가시킨다. 수정된 초수렴 팻취복구기법을 검증하기 위해 극한치를 사용한 새로운 오차평가기가 제안된다. 제안된 알고리즘의 정당성은 선형탄성파괴역학의 대표적 문제들인 중앙균열판, 일변균열 및 양변균열 해석을 통해 테스트되었다.

        This study was conducted to investigate the eating patterns of Korean men by analyzing the relation among their socio-demographic characteristics, value toward food and nutrition, and eating behavior. Nine hundred twenty nine Korean men were selected by the stratified random sampling method. The socio-demographic characteristics of the subjects had a significant influence on their value toward food and nutrition. After in their sixties had meals for physiological needs rather than for nutrition or preference. Highly educated people, professional workers, office workers and people in the higher incomes, placed a higher value toward food and nutrition. In addition, rural inhabitants had a significantly lower value toward food and nutrition. They mainly ate to satisfy their hunger. The subjects' eating behavior had a significant difference according to their socio-demographic characteristics. The aged and the less educated valued breakfast the most, and showed a preference for rice as the staple food. The rate of skipping meals for this group was low. The higher their income, their eating behavior score was equally high, while the primary industrial workers and rural inhabitants had a low eating behavior score. Value toward food and nutrition had a significant influence on eating behavior. Those that placed a high value toward food and nutrition showed a marked tendency to choose bread or noodles rather than rice. In addition, those who placed a high value on food and nutrition skipped fewer meals and had a higher eating behavior score.

        It has long been known that the magnetospheric particles can precipitate into the atmosphere of the Earth. In this paper we examine such precipitation of energetic electrons using the data obtained from low-altitude polar orbiting satellite observations. We analyze the precipitating electron flux data for many periods selected from a total of 84 storm events identified for 2001-2012. The analysis includes the dependence of precipitation on the Kp index and the electron energy, for which we use three energies E1 > 30 keV, E2 > 100 keV, E3 > 300 keV. We find that the precipitation is best correlated with Kp after a time delay of < 3 hours. Most importantly, the correlation with Kp is notably tighter for lower energy than for higher energy in the sense that the lower energy precipitation flux increases more rapidly with Kp than does the higher energy precipitation flux. Based on this we suggest that the Kp index reflects excitation of a wave that is responsible for scattering of preferably lower energy electrons. The role of waves of other types should become increasingly important for higher energy, for which we suggest to rely on other indicators than Kp if one can identify such an indicator.

        In this paper we examine a total of 16 dipolarization events that were observed by THEMIS spacecraft in space close togeosynchronous orbit, r < ~ 7 RE. For the identified events, we examine the characteristics of the plasma flows and associatedbubbles as defined based on pV5/3, where p is the plasma pressure and V the volume of unit magnetic flux. First, we find thatthe flow speed in the near-geosynchronous region is very low, mostly within a few tens of km/s, except for a very few events forwhich the flow can rise up to ~200 km/s but only very near the dipolarization onset time. Second, the bubble parameter, pV5/3,decreases by a much smaller factor after the dipolarization onset than for the events in the farther out tail region. We suggestthat the magnetic dipolarization in the near-geosynchronous region generates or is associated with only very weak plasmabubbles. Such bubbles in the near-geosynchronous region would penetrate earthward only by a small distance before theystop at an equilibrium position or drift around the Earth.

        We developed a mass-memory chip by staking 1 Gbit double data rate 2 (DDR2) synchronous dynamic random access memory (SDRAM) memory core up to 4 Gbit storage for future satellite missions which require large storage for data collected during the mission execution. To investigate the resistance of the chip to the space radiation environment, we have performed heavy-ion-driven single event experiments using Heavy Ion Medical Accelerator in Chiba medium energy beam line. The radiation characteristics are presented for the DDR2 SDRAM (K4T1G164QE) fabricated in 56 nm technology. The statistical analyses and comparisons of the characteristics of chips fabricated with previous technologies are presented. The cross-section values for various single event categories were derived up to ~80 MeVcm2/mg. Our comparison of the DDR2 SDRAM, which was fabricated in 56 nm technology node, with previous technologies, implies that the increased degree of integration causes the memory chip to become vulnerable to single-event functional interrupt, but resistant to single-event latch-up.

        This study was conducted to examine effects of plant growth regulators and light resources on the formation of multiple shoot and plant regeneration of Hovenia dulcis var. koreana Nakai. Stem and shoot tip were cultured on MS medium or WPM supplemented with various plant growth regulators. At the single treatment, the highest shoot formation was obtained when stem explants were cultured on WPM supplemented with kinetin 1.0mg·L-1. MS medium containing NAA 0.1 and TDZ 0.1mg·L-1 gave the best results for shoot induction rate and shoot growth in combination treatments. Of the BAP and kinetin tested, BAP 0.5mg·L-1 on WPM was found to be more effective for shoot growth from shoot tip. Under white fluorescent light treatment, shoot growth was much higher than blue, red LED treatments. Root induction from in vitro growth of plantlet was the best on WPM supplemented with 1.0mg·L-1 IBA. The results suggest that selection of plant growth regulators and light resources could be important factor to achieve an efficient in vitro growth.

        The potential antioxidant activities of different fractions from Prunella vulgaris var. lilacina were assayed in vitro. Among several fractions, n-BuOH fraction showed the highest 1,1-di[henyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging (IC50=0.50μg/mL). The results of 2,2'-azinobis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS) radical scavenging activity and ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assay showed the concentration dependency and n-BuOH fraction appeared a better result than the other fractions at the same concentrati on in this study. Moreover the total phenol and flavonoid contents of n-BuOH fraction contained the highest level. Additionally, correlation analysis indicated a high correlation between the antiradical activity and the total phenolic and flavonoid contents (p 〈 0.001). It suggests that n-BuOH fraction obtained from the 70% EtOH crude extract of Prunella vulgaris var. lilacina has wide potential for use as a source of antioxidant material.
