The purpose of this study is to develop a guideline of process capability evaluation and to apply this guideline improving the quality of products, especially in the small and medium enterprises. In this study we deal in the concept of process capability evaluation, the calculation of process capability index, and the application of a case study. Man must compare the state of process with the standards in evaluating of the process capability. Control chart can be used as a yardstick for judgement for the long term period and the distribution shape of histogram for the short term period. Man should regard to the significant figure by the calculation of process capability index.

Temperature dependent development of Tetranychus. urticae Koch was studied on the leaf of eggplant at 17, 22, 27, 32 and 37℃, T. urticae showed a minimum mortality at 27℃ and it increased at higher or lower temperatures than 27℃. The hatchability was low at 17 and 37℃. The duration of development decreased with increasing temperatures i.e., 5.3d at 37℃ and 25.8d at 17℃. Linear regression analysis of temperature vs. rate of development yielded the higher r² ≥ 0.88 resulting in a good fit of the estimated line in the range of 17~37℃. Developmental zero temperature was 12.5℃ for the entire immature stage of female and 12.8℃ for that of male. Thermal constants were 80.5 and 74.7 degree days for those of female and male, respectively. Adult life span and oviposition period decreased with increasing temperatures. The number of eggs laid per female peaked at 141.0 eggs at 27℃, while that was a minimum 78.0 eggs at 37℃. Rate of hatchability, ratio of female, and R₀ were increased up to 27℃, and than declined thereafter. Intrinsic rate of natural increase (Rm) increased with rising temperatures and showed a maximum 0.5652 at 37℃. Also, λ increased with increasing temperature. Doubling time (Dt) and generation time (T) decreased with increasing temperature.

Rapid spread of the internet has made our everyday life more convenient, however it has brought some problems along with it. Especially, undergraduate student are losing their social ability as they become absorbed in the internet game, act selfishly in the cyber space and lose interest in studying. As a result, they become isolated from their friends and experience difficulty in the relationship with their parents. In this paper, the influence factors of internet game addiction is investigated using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and statistics techniques. This study is to define the influence an important factors of internet game addiction using a questionnaire to internet game player and expert group. It is believed that this study will be more receptive to results that include the priority weights of internet game addiction among the addiction group, non-addiction group and expert group.

This paper reviews nonparametric statistics by Neyman-Pearson test and Fisher test. Nonparametric statistics deal with the small sample with distribution-free assumption in multi-product and small-volume production. Two tests for various nonparametric statistic methods such as sign test, Wilcoxon test, Mann-Whitney test, Kruskal-Wallis test, Mood test, Friedman test and run test are also presented with the steps for testing hypotheses and test of significance.

With the development of the Korean economy, the number of arson fire has been radically increased and become a huge problem and issue in Korea Society for last several decades. This study is to establish the fire life safety strategy regarding the arson fire through researching domestic fire statistics and performing the computer simulation based on fire scenarios with cutting edge techniques and methods for fire characteristics and fire dynamic. In addition, to design the fire life safety strategy depending on the arson fire pattern, the flow and characteristics of fire flames and smoke are analyzed by the computer modeling.

해양사고를 감소시키기 위한 노력에도 불구하고, 해양사고는 증가하는 추세이다. 해양사고는 선박, 인적 그리고 자연조건의 3개 조건으로 분류할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 1997년부터 2006년 사이의 해양사고의 자료를 이용하여 해양사고를 조건 별로 분석하였고, SPSS의 분산분석기법을 사용하여 그 차이의 통계적 의미를 분석해 보았다. 항목별로 일원배치 분산분석의 결과 시간대에서는 20~04 시간대와 그 외 시간대와는 집단간에 유의한 차이를 보였다. 속력에서는 5~10 노트 대에서, 초인거리는 1 마일 이하에서 유의한 차이를 보여 해양사고의 예방을 위해 위에 열거한 시간대, 속력 그리고 초인거리에 유의하여야 할 것으로 판단되었다.

Dependent models in quality statistics are classified as serially autocorrelated model, multivariate model and dependent sample model. Dependent sample model is most efficient in time and cost to obtain samples among the above models. This paper proposes to implement parametric and nonparametric models into production system depended on demand pattern. Nonparametric models have distribution free and asymptotic distribution free techniques. Quality statistical models are classified into two categories ; the number of dependent sample and the type of data. The type of data consists of nominal, ordinal, interval and ratio data. The number of dependent sample divides into 2 samples and more than 3 samples.

안근 불균형으로 인한 양안시 이상의 대표적 변수인 사위와 안근 불균형과 관련된 양안시 이상의 다른 변수간의 상호관계를 분석， 조사하여 임상에서 외사위가 있는 사 람의 진단 및 처치의 우선순위를 결정하기 위하여 본 연구를 수행하였다. 안근불균형과 관련된 6가지 변수를 얻기 위하여 사위검사와 융합력 검사， 주시시차 검사를 실시하였으며 피검사자는 18명의 양안시 이상 증상을 느끼는 증상 집단과 23 명의 양안시 이상 증상을 느끼지 못하는 비 증상 집단으로 분류하였고， 증상 집단과 비 증상 집단， 그리고 전체집단으로 검사결과를 비교하였다. 본 연구에 의하여 사위 에 미치는 변수들의 상대적인 영향력의 크기는 전체집단과 증상 집단에서는 Sheard’s criterion > Percival' s criterion > Y -intercept > X -intercept > Slope of F.D.C. 의 순으로 나타났고， 비 증상 집 단에 서 는 Sheard’s criterion > Percival’s criterion > Y -intercept > Slope of F.D.C. > X -intercept의 순으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 검사자가 임상에서 외사위가 있는 사람을 처치할 때 쉐어드기준 (Sheard’s criterion) 이 우선적으로 고려되어야 할 변수로 판단되며， 종합적인 진단 및 처치를 위해서는 주시시차 각 (Y -intercept) 이 부가적으로 고려되어야 할 변수로 판단 되었다.

Multilayer adsorptions and BET adsorption are analyzed statistical-mechanically. Which ensemble is selected for the analysis is unimportant, because each ensemble yields the same results. However, the amount of mathematical manipulations and the matter of convenience vary from ensemble to ensemble. Hence, multilayer adsorptions and BET adsorption are examined using a canonical and a grand canonical ensembles, and an ensemble of subsystems. Also, the characteristics of multilayer and BET adsorptions are delineated.

본 논문은 KS의 침입도 등급 체계에 대한 통계적 타당성을 검토하였다. 각 등급의 범위는 신뢰구간에 근거하여 설정되어야 하며, 최대한 인접 등급과의 중복을 피하도록 해야 한다. 그러나 통계적 이론에 근거해 검토한 결과 KS 침입도 등급 체계에는 각 등급 사이에 간격(Gap)이 없어서 범위를 벗어나는 것은 바로 다른 바인더의 등급을 침범한다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 많은 바인더 제품들의 침입도 평균값이 규정한계 내에 있을지라도 인접한 등급과 유사한 특성을 가질 수 있다. 또한 침입도 40-60, 60-80, 80-100과 같이 등급의 범위를 모두 20으로 규정한 것은 통계적 타당성이 없다. KS 침입도 등급은 각 등급 간에 간격이 없기 때문에 생산자는 제품의 품질관리 규정을 만족하기 위하여 ASTM 체계의 제품보다 변동계수를 더 낮게 유지해야 한다. 게다가 침입도평균이 상 하한선 쪽으로 치우친다면 재료의 품질 불확실성 때문에 바인더의 1/2 또는 그 이상이 인접 바인더와 중복된 것이다. 그러므로 KS침입도 등급은 통계적으로 타당토록 바로 수정되어야 한다.

  The National Wealth Survey Method has been used to estimate capital stocks in Korea by the Korea National Statistical Office in every 10 years. However, this method requires huge amount of time and money. Since the Benchmark Year Method also has similar
