        This study was focused on the analysis of questionnaire that surveyed the uses, preference and recognition on apple. The subjects of this study consisted of 452 female(married 238, unmarried 214) in Daegu area. Among those respondents, 49.1% answered that they ate apple after dinner. Respondents preferred as purchase place fruits store(34.5%), traditional market(22.6%), and big discount store(21.7%), in order. Taste(46.0%) was the most important as purchase criterion. 49.1% of respondents preferred small amount below 2-3kg every one purchase. In preference survey on apples, 80.5% of total subjects responded 'like' or 'very like', and 73.6% of those subjects who favorably responded liked the 'taste' of apples. The preference survey study on apple foods revealed that respondents preferred the most apple juice(M=3.47), fellowed by apple jam(M=3.35) and apple vinegar(M=3.21). On the other hand, apple bab(M=2.29) and apple jook(M=2.23) had the most low preference score. The recognition survey study on apple revealed that respondents knew relatively well the followings: apple is natural food(M=4.25), apple is good for body and apple is good for beauty(M=4.20). Respondents required apple to be fresher(41.0%) and taster(37.4%). 89.4% of respondents expected that consumption of apples would be increased or maintain at the present level.

        곤충병원성선충 {Heterorhabditis sp. KCTC 0991BP (He)와 Steinernema carpocapsae KCTC 0981BP (Sc)}에 의한 치사충과 선충의 공생세균(He공생세균=Photorhabditis sp.와 Sc공생세균= Xenorhabdus nematophila)에 의한 치사충에 대한 개미의 섭식행동을 알아보기 위하여 동래베네스트골프장과 안양베네스트골프장, 가평베네스트골프장, 울산골프장에서 치사 원인에 따른 개미의 방문수, 종류 및 선호성을 조사하였다. 방문하는 개미의 수나 종류 및 개미가 물고 간 먹이의 수는 치사원인에 따라 차이가 있었으며, 골프장이나 골프장내의 장소(페어웨이와 러프)간에도 차이가 있었다. 개미의 선호성은 모든 골프장에서 He에 의한 치사충에서 가장 낮았다. 동래베네스트 골프장의 6번 홀에서는 러프에서만 고동털개미(Lasius japonicu)()와 검정꼬마개미(Monomorium floricola)()가 치사충을 끌고 갔다. 러프의 치사충에 개미의 방문이 있었던 비율은 였지만 페어웨이에서는 처리 16시간 후까지 모든 치사충에 개미의 방문이 없었다. 12시간 후까지 개미가 끌고 간 치사충의 비율은 He에 의한 치사충이 로 Sc에 의한 치사충의 , fenitrothion에 의한 치사충의 , 자연치사충의 에 비하여 낮았다. 안양베네스트골프장 6번 홀 러프에서는 주름개미(Tetramorium tsushimae)()와 극동혹개미(Pheidole fervida)(), 일본왕개미(Camponotus japonicus)(), 곰개미(Formica japonica)(), 스미스개미(Paratrechina flavipes)(), 마쓰무라밑들이개미(Crematogaster matsumurai)()가 치사충을 방문하였다. 개미가 치사충을 끌고 감이 없었던 비율은 였고, Sc에 의한 치사충을 끌고 간 비율은 , 냉동 치사충을 끌고 간 비율은 , He에 의한 치사충을 끌고 간 비율은 였다. 가평베네스트골프장 벚꽃나무 코스 9번 홀의 러프에서는 치사충을 방문하는 개미의 수가 매우 낮았는데, 주름개미와 스미스개미가 각각 한곳에서 발견되었다. 곤충병원성 선충의 접종 농도는 개미가 끌고 간 치사충의 비율에서 차이를 보이지 않았다. 한편, 치사충의 매장 유무는 개미의 섭식활동에 영향을 미쳤다. 동래베네스트골프장 6번 홀의 러프에서 토양 속에 묻은 치사충에서는 처리 16시간 동안 개미의 방문이 없었던 반면, 묻지 않은 치사충은 끌고 갔다. He와 Sc의 공생세균을 처리한 비스켓에 대한 개미의 방문은 선충의 치사충에 대한 방문과 동일한 경향을 보여, He의 공생세균인 Photorhabditis sp.처리에서 Sc 공생세균인 Xenorhabdus 처리보다 방문수가 적었다.

        This study seeks to classify the skin types and determined the relation between the dietary habit and preference of foods targeting college women in Daegu and Gyeong-Buk Province. Skin types of the subjects were 31% of combination skin, 25% of dry skin and 22% of normal, oily skin. College women mostly had two meals a day, and those who had less frequent meals developed more combination skin. Many of them did not exercise, and women with normal skin who did not exercise showed the lowest at 13.9%, supporting the significance (p<.05). It was exposed that don't have breakfast and have irregular meal and don't have easy meal in all skin types. Instant foods was exposed that ingested the most in dry skin and the least in oily skin, supporting the significance(p<.05) and fruit or vegetable ingested much in dry skin. It was exposed that considered atmosphere at meal and meal helps in health in all skin types, normal skin type considered balanced diets the most and supporting the significance(p<.01) Food preference in all skin types showed the strongest in drinks and showed strong in greenish yellow vegetables, fruits, confectioneries, drinks, milk and dairy goods. On the other hand, it showed low in nuts and salted fishes. In sum, regular and balanced meals give the skin a healthy status, and intake of protein, vitamins and minerals has impact on the skin status. Thus, sufficient quality nutrition is crucial in staying a healthy skin.

        This study was conducted to develop and evaluate food menus after investigating eating behaviors and food preferences of preschool children. Parents of the preschool children In 2 Gumi City day-care centers completed questionnaires in July 2003, which were used to assess eating behaviors and food preferences of their preschool children. Analysis of the questionnaires led to the development of the menus. Menus (n=10) were developed for five different categories (two menus were developed for each category) including general menu, unbalanced menu, anemia menu, obese menu, and traditional menu. The preschool children(n=656) evaluated the menus as they were provided with each them throughout October 2003. The five score scale method was used to evaluate taste, smell, looks, texture and general preference of each menu. Results in eating behaviors showed that 70.7% of preschool children had unbalanced eating behaviors. No gender based differences in eating behaviors were found, but in regard to food preferences boys tended to prefer carbonated drinks more than girls. Results indicated that among all menus, fruit ranked highest (3.97±0.65) for food preference, and vegetables ranked lowest for food preference (2.46±0.68). Food preference in regard to cooking process indicated the highest preference was for fried foods (3.80±0.68) and the lowest preference was for raw vegetables (2.61±1.27) and namul (2.85±1.13). Preference for taste ranked the highest (4.30±0.91) but preference for looks recorded the lowest (3.95±0.89). Of all the foods in the menus, steamed tofu rated the highest for individual food item preference, while tuna sesame leaf rice rated the lowest preference. Statistical analysis of interrelationships among food taste, smell, looks, texture and general preference were significant (p〈0.0l). Results from this study suggest that various factors including food taste, smell, looks, and texture influence the food preferences of preschool children. Therefore, it is concluded that by developing a variety of appetizing menus for use at home and in day-care centers, containing varied food items and cooking methods, preschool children will be encouraged to increase their food preferences and to establish appropriate eating behaviors.

        본 연구는 동서양 문물 이미지 사진에 대한 여대생의 선호도와 패션잡지에서 의류광고 사진에 등장한 모델의 동서양 국적에 따른 소비자의 긍정적/부정적 인식 정도의 영향을 조사하고자 하였다. 100명의 여학생이 설문에 응답해 주었으며 20개 사진이 자극물로 제시되었다. 자극물은 주택, 실내, 식품, 미인도, 음료수로 하고, 패션 광고사진으로는 남성복 정장, 여성복 정장, 여성복캐주얼, 여성복 속옷, 여성손목시계 등으로 하여 동서양 모델 사진을 각 1점씩 선택하였다. 여대생들은 간식과 미인도에서는 서양이미지보다 동양이미지를 선호하였으나, 패션잡지의 의류광고 사진의 광고에는 모든 경우에서 서양모델이 사용된 경우에 긍정적인 인식정도를 나타냈다. 이러한 사실로서 여대생의 서양이미지에 대한 인식은 긍정적이며 이것은 의류제품 브랜드의 소비자 선호도에 영향을 미칠 것을 추측할 수 있었다.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the preference on Korean food and the nutritional knowledge of the college students. Self-administrated questionnaires were completed by 556 college students majoring food-related subjects in Kangwon-do area. The results were as fellows : 1. Male subjects liked meat (Calbi, Bulgogi, Seolungtang) and female subjects liked Kimchi and soybean soup. Both genders, however, disliked seasoned vegetables. 2. In the frequency of taking, Kimchi had the highest rank followed by Bibimbab and Seolungtang in higher order. 3. The first choice of both family and friends eating out was Korean foods. 4. The top two reasons for selecting Korean foods were their deliciousness and availability in higher order. 5. According to this study, the establishment of standardized recipe and the different way of facing Korean foods of individuals (Koreans) are promptly required for the globalization of Korean foods. 6. The nutritional knowledge of the subjects were limited and restricted to simple facts regardless of their major.

        쌀바구미와 저장 곡물 곰팡이간의 상호작용 분석의 일환으로 곰팡이 종에 대한 쌀바구미의 분포 선호성을 조사하였다. 쌀바구미는 비교 대상 4종 곰팡이(Aspergillus candidus, A. niger, A. flavus와 Penicillium spp.)에 오염된 현미를 살균된 현미보다 선호하였으며, 선호도는 A. candidus와 Penicillium spp.에 대해서 가장 높았다. 차대 쌀바구미 우화수는 A. candidus와 Penicillium 오염미에서 가장 많았으며 A. flavus 오염미에서 가장 적었다. 쌀바구미의 곰팡이 오염미에 대한 선호와 쌀바구미 적합도간 불일치 현상은 쌀바구미의 분포 및 곡물 곰팡이 선호도가 알려진바 유사 니체에서의 장기적인 공진화 과정을 거쳐 이루어진 종간 상호작용의 조정과 아울러 영양적 특성 등 단기적 서식환경의 적절성의 두 가지 측면에서 설명될 수 있음을 암시하는 것으로 생각된다.

CHAID, a decision tree technique, is used to analyze the results of survey and the relationships of preference factors.         This study was carried out to investigate the dining-out behavior of breakfast and preference on the menu of female college students. 500 questionnaires were distributed and 417 were used for statistical analysis(SAS program). This survey was conducted from June, 2000 to October, 2000. 72.8% of the respondents thought there were problems in eating breakfast. The problems were 'skipping breakfast frequently(33.1%)', 'short eating time(20.9%)', 'simple menu(18.8%)'. Preference of dining-out breakfast menus were 'bread & milk(43.8%)', 'conventional menu(34.7%)', 'snack(15.5%)', soup or 'porridge(6.0%)'. A general preference of breakfast menus were conventional (63.7%), 'bread & milk(21.1%)', 'milk and breakfast cereal(8.7%)', 'soup or porridge(6.5%)'. Increase on the amount of monthly allowance decreased the preference of conventional type of breakfast(P<0.05). The questions about the breakfast were 'what is the best menus for breakfast(49.2%)', 'alternative to rice(17.1%)', 'the amounts of breakfast(12.1%)'. But there was no significant difference among these variables. In conclusion, development of convenient & well-balanced breakfast model and nutritional education are needed to increase the nutritional status of female college students.

        포식성 천적 O. kashmiricabenefica의 식식성 응애류 3종에 대한 포식량, 포식선호성 그리고 동족포식을 조사하였다. 성충의 일평균포식량은 먹이인 응애의 밀도와 온도가 높을수록 증가하였다. 항온조건하에서 O. kashmirica benefica 성충의 일평균포식량은 귤응애, 점박이응애, 차응애 성충을 각각 21.9, 13.5, 14.1마리씩 포식하였다. 유충의 포식량은 영기가 증가할수록 많아져서, 1령, 2령, 3령 유충이 각각 2.8, 11.2, 25.4마리의 귤응애 성충을 포식하였다. O. kashmirica benefica 유충은 귤응애, 점박이응애, 차응애 성충을 유충기간(5일, )동안 각각 77.7, 61.3, 73.0마리씩 포식하였다. O. kashmirica benefica 유충과 성충은 글응애, 점박이응애, 차응애 중에서 특정한 종을 선호하는 경향은 없었으며, 먹이가 없을 때에도 동족포식 정도는 매우 낮았다.

        The purpose of this study was designed to analyze the food preference and behavior on food away from home between Korean, Japanese and Chinese. The sample was selected each 200 people who were waiting departure in duty free zone, Incheon International Airport. The survey was developed by researcher and it consist of four parts that demographic characteristic, preference food material, preference cooking method and behavior on food away from home. As a result of the study, korean preferred soup, pork and raw vegetable and dine out with their family. Japanese preferred soup, beef, salad and dine out by themselves. Chinese preferred meat, fish, sauteed vegetable, and dine out with their family. When they were dine-out, Korean frequently ate Korean food, Fast food, Japanese food and Chinese, however Japanese frequently ate Japanese food, Chinese food and Italian food. Chinese frequently ate Chinese food and Fast food. Korean were sensitive of food price, but Japanese were sensitive of food taste and Chinese were sensitive of new experience and taste.

        광대노련재의 계대사육법을 확립하기 위해 , 605% R.H., 16L.8D광주기조건 의 실내 사육환경하에서 대체먹이인 생땅콩을 급여하여 사육하면서 발육 특성과 기주 및 산란선 호성을 조사하였다. 광대노련재의 1세대 소요일수는 평균 48일이었다. 알은 유백색의 구형이고 1 난괴당 산란수는 14개가 대부분이었다. 알.약충의 발육기간을 조사한 결과 알기간은 8.20.4일 이었고 각 령별 약충기간은 1령 5.40.2일,2령 8.40.5일, 3령 6.40.4일,4령 7.40.3일,5령 12.60.8일이였다. 성충의 생존일수는 수컷이 평균 30.8일, 암컷은 35.4일 정도였다. 성충화율은 5 57.1%였는데 암수비융은 47: 53으로 수컷의 비율이 약간 높았다. 산란전기간은 평균 22.5일이었 고 펑균산란회수는 4.4회였다. 산란선호성은 기주식물이 있을 경우에는 기주에 산란하지만 기주식 물을 제외시킨 경우에는 아크릴 사육상자, 철망보다는 인조잎에 더 많이 산란하였다. 광대노린재 성충의 기주선호성을 조사한 결과 대상식물 18종 중 황벽나무, 산초나무, 산수유, 충층나무 등의 줄기 및 과실을 가장 잘 흡즙하는 것으로 나타났다.
