        In this study, the seismic performance of weak-axis steel moment connections was investigated through cyclic testing of two full-scale specimens by reducing flange plate thickness. As a result, two specimens were showed that enough energy dissipation capacity and ductility.

        Corrugated plate is made that the local buckling, global buckling and interactive buckling occurs because of the geometric properties such as the accordion effect.Corrugated steel having such characteristics is shows a buckling characteristic different from the plate. However, It was a design by the basis of the shear buckling equation of plate. Therefore, this study was investigate the characteristics of the shear buckling mode and shear buckling stress of sinusoidal corrugated plate through a parametric study using the finite element method.

        Curved girders show very complex behavior compare to straight girders because the torsional moments always act on the structure even if there are no additional loads except self-weight. For this reason, engineers need to consider torsional behavior when design or analyse structure. However, most of curved bridges are designed as a series of straight girders because design specification does not reflect the curved beam theory. In this paper, curved girders are analysed by FEA program and the results are compared with the results of straight girders. Selecting the radius of curvature as a parameter, suitable analysis method for design of horizontally curved girder was suggested.

        This study was evaluate the shear buckling characteristic of sinusoidal corrugated plate. We analyzed the effect on shear buckling about shape parameter based on the design equations proposed as a theoretical method shown in the existing studies. We was performed the eigenvalue analysis about sinusoidal corrugated plate using finite element analysis program. and then, This result was analyzed the shear buckling tendencies and verified the buckling characteristic changes.

        In this study, an experimental study to investigate the shear friction behavior of the SC Wall to RC slab connection was carried out. The maximum shear friction capacity and failure mode were examined, and the results were also compared with theoretical value.         The purpose of this study is to evaluate the shear strength of the GFRP plate shear reinforced deep beam. The performance of the proposed shear reinforcement was investigated by performing tests on four deep beam specimens with GFRP shear reinforced specimen and unreinforced specimen. Test parameters are the shear reinforcement area and presence of shear reinforcement. The effects of these parameters on the shear strength of the GFRP plate shear reinforced deep beam are examined.

        A new type of GFRP shear reinforcement is proposed for reinforced concrete beams. The new GFRP shear reinforcement consists of GFRP plate material with openings to ensure complete integration with the concrete. The performance of the proposed shear reinforcement was investigated by performing tests on six concrete beam specimens with shear span-to-depth ratio of 2.4. Test parameters include the area of opening of GFRP plate and the shape of GFRP plate. The effects of these parameters on the shear strength of the GFRP plate shear reinforced concrete beam were examined.

        The GFRP shear reinforcement is manufactured into a plate shape with several openings, and it is embedded into concrete with longitudinal steel reinforcements during construction stage. In this paper, the performance of the newly proposed shear reinforcement was investigated by carrying out a structural test on four concrete deep beam specimens. Test parameter is shear span-to-depth ratio, and the cracking pattern, failure mode and the effects of this parameter on the shear strength were examined.

        Damage of pavement over corrugated steel plate culvert with shallow cover was analyzed by filed investigation and numerical analysis. Field measurement showed that the flexible culvert was within the deformation limit and was structurally stable. Numerical analysis showed that deformation of culvert at the crest during the passage of heavy vehicle was about 2.72mm while the thrust and moment within the structure was far below the allowable value. It is concluded that the pavement was damaged by the cyclic deformation of culvert by the heavy vehicle.

        In this study, shear buckling behaviors of a web panel with local corrosion in a plate girder bridge were numerically examined because severe corrosion damage has been reported in plate girder bridges. The web corroded condition and boundary condition were changed to evaluate the effect of corrosion condition on the shear buckling behaviors of the web panel.

        Eco deck plate system is a construction method that deconstruction of galvanized steel sheets is possible by integrating steel-wire-integrated girders and the galvanized steel sheets with bolts. Therefore, compared with previous steel-wire-integrated deck plates which were joined by welding, the system is acknowledged as the construction method possible management and repair. This study conducted an experimental research by manufacturing total 24 full size specimens in a same condition for 12-shape specimens by two parts to evaluate structural behaviors of the eco deck plates. In the results after the test, permissible deflection for the construction load action was shown to be values under design values and satisfactory. The processing of lattice steel wires was presented to be structurally advantageous in being manufactured by cutting downward. Also, in case of a specimen that D13 as a steel wire was used, destruction occurred at the welding part of the bottom steel wire and the lattice steel wire, so improvement measures for the welding in factory manufacture are necessary.

        This paper presents a series of test result in order to study fire resistance capacity of the Near-Surface-Mounted (NSM) Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) plate, which are tensile test of CFRP under various temperature loading, temperature loading test of epoxy and bond test of NSM CFRP to concrete under various temperature loading. From the tests, it was found that NSM retrofit method had high efficiency in strengthening concrete under ordinary temperature. However, the strength of the system was able to be drastically decreased even a little increase of surrounding temperature. Especially, bond capacity begins to disappear when the surrounding temperature approaches the glass transition temperature of epoxy. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the fire resistance capacity of both fiber reinforced polymer reinforcement and epoxy for bonding in order to develop safe fire resistance design of structure

        Recently, retrofits by using fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) have been widely performed for strengthening of reinforced concrete structure. However, in spite of the weakness of FRP for fire, the research result of it is not enough for practical use. In korea, fire is most frequent disaster which occurs in building. This means the improved structural capacity of building by a retrofit with FRP may be lost by fire if the FRP was not properly protected from it. This paper present a fire test of concrete block reinforced by FRP. From the test, it was found that the bond capacity of FRP attached to concrete decreased from temperature loading of 65℃.

        For coupled shear walls, coupling beams are the first line of dissipation under earthquakes. So coupling beams are important energy dissipation component. When coupling beams have little depth-to-span ratio, routine coupling beams have less capacity of energy dissipation.There are less design methods for coupling beams with depth-to-span less than 2. In this paper a specimen with steel plate reinforcement coupling beam was designed and analyzed by means of FEM software ABAQUS.

        There is a limit to the representation of finite element analysis modeling of the pure shear of corrugated plate. However, if the shear force is applied to the corrugated plate, the set of appropriate boundary can be obtained to the nearest theory value. In this study compared Shear buckling strength about each boundary condition with the plate shear theory. And then each boundary condition applied to sinusoidal corrugated plate, evaluate convergence of the minimum shear buckling strength of each boundary condition and shear buckling flow was observed through shear buckling mode shape.

        In order to realize these weight lightening, structure was used to high strength thin plate. If thin plate structure is used, buckling about compression is happen so we should consider buckling. Commonly, we use the girder with stiffener to prevent shear buckling but if we use corrugated web, it can be the role of stiffener to buckling This study is developed of program about optimum problem using structure design process and real-valued genetic algorithm. For the optimum design, the objective function is defined weight of sinusoidal corrugated web and conduct by optimization. The program is analyzed by example.

        In this study, experiments were performed in order to evaluate the concrete breakout strength of shear reinforcement considering anchorage type and embedment depth. and Using the result, we provide basic data for the design of shear reinforcement. According to the experimental results, If the concrete strength is relatively low and thin flat plate, we need a design considering the concrete breakout failure than concrete bearing failure.
