        Nonlinear dynamic analysis of Non-seismic Designed subway station was verified with Channel Beam Damper system which was developed in former research. As a result of nonlinear dynamic analysis, column and beam are on LS(Life Safety) level by retrofitting with Channel Beam Damper system. The effect of Channel Beam Damper System was confirmed.

        This study is to evaluate the seismic demand of reinforced concrete structure considering the incident angle of the ground motions. For this purpose, a three-story structure is numerically analyzed under the three ground motion records through a multi-component incremental dynamic analysis (MIDA). The MIDA, an implementation of Incremental dynamic analysis, investigates two components of seismic excitation in which all accelerations are scaled to spectral accelerations at the fundamental natural periods of the buildings. The obtained results indicate the influence of the incident angle should be considered in the assessment response of structures. Maximum inter-story drift of structure will behave in the elastic or inelastic range depending on the variable incident angle

        This study evaluated displacement of ceiling system under lastic dynamic load. Main parameters are change of stiffness at connections of bolt and C channel ranged between 0.1~2.0 kN/mm. Program for elastic dynamic anaysis is the MIDAS ZEN. Analysis results showed that connections between bolt and C channel was effective on decreasing of displacement of ceiling system.

        In this study, a vision-based monitoring system was applied to measure the dynamic characteristics of the stay cable. The image was acquired during the day to measure the dynamic characteristics of the stay cable and the image filter processing algorithm was applied to reduce the analytical noise of the image.

        본 논문에서는 국내 비내진상세 조적채움벽 RC 골조의 동적거동 및 손상모드를 파악하기 위하여 실규모 크기의 비내진상세 RC 골 조와 조적채움벽 RC 골조를 대상으로 진동대 실험을 실시하여 응답 및 거동 특성을 비교 평가하였다. 진동대 실험 결과, 순수 RC 골조는 기둥 상하부 휨균열 및 접합부 전단균열이 심화되어 최종 파괴되었다. 조적채움벽 RC 골조의 경우 골조의 손상은 비교적 작았으며 조적벽체의 중앙 부의 슬라이딩 균열 및 대각 전단 균열 손상이 크게 발생하였다. 조적채움벽 RC 골조는 순수 RC 골조에 비하여 초기상태의 공진주기가 짧아졌 으며 최종 가진시에서 최대변위응답은 약 62% 감소하였다. 본 연구에서 적용한 조적채움벽은 비내진 상세를 가지는 RC 골조의 강성을 약 1.6 배, 최대 강도를 약 2.2배 증가시키는 데 기여하는 것으로 분석되었다.

        교량은 사회간접시설물의 핵심이 되는 도로의 주요 시설물이므로 공용기간 동안 안정성과 사용성이 확보될 수 있도록 건설되며, 교량의 안전성 확보를 위하여 현재 상태에서 건전성을 평가하는 것은 유지관리 업무에서 중요한 과제이다. 일반적으로 교량의 내하력 평가를 위해 차량재하시험을 통하여 횡분배윺을 측정함으로써 교량의 중첩거동 및 대칭거동을 확인할 수 있다. 그러나 공용중인 교량의 횡분배율을 측정하기 위하여 정적재하시험을 수행하고 있으며 교통통제의 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 동적재하시험 및 상시진동시험에서 측정 된 교량의 변위응답 데이터를 경험적 모드분해기법을 이용하여 정적 성분의 변위를 추출하였다. 추출된 정적 성분의 변위를 이용하여 횡분배 율을 추정하였으며, 정적재하시험에서 측정된 횡분배율과 비교하였다.

        In this study, a contact node and a penalty spring were introduced at the bottom of the contact spring, and the track irregularity effect was implemented. Through this present approach, the non-linearity of the contact spring can be expressed using non-linear spring elements of ANSYS itself. The applicability of the improved analysis technique has been verified through various demonstrated cases. A stable solution was obtained even for a problem where the contact spring’s non-linearity changed rapidly.

        In this study, We have evaluated the applicability of the substructuring technique to reducing the computational cost of a three-dimensional analysis of a vehicle-track structure dynamic interaction. When the substructuring technique is applied properly to the three-dimensional dynamic interaction analysis, computational cost can be greatly cut down without loss in accuracy.

        In this paper, the finite element model updating method of the PSC bridge based on the static and dynamic data is verified through field experiment. The proposed method consists of two steps. First, update the rotational stiffness of the supports using the deflection and rotational displacement measurements that occur when the moving loads pass through the bridge. The stiffness of each member is updated by using the dynamic characteristics estimated from the acceleration measured by the ambient vibration test. The finite element model updated by the proposed method can predict the static and dynamic behavior of actual bridges through field experiment.

        In this study, dynamic characteristics were analyzed by field measurement and experiment mode analysis on a vertical axis wind turbine with resonance issue, and dynamic model modification was also carried out by concrete filling inside the steel tower. Finally, the overall power generation and economic efficiency due to the extension of the range of rotor rotational speed was also analyzed.

        Purpose – In this article, a dynamic model like a VAR is an appropriate choice for estimating the possible interrelationship between ownership structure and firm performance as a dynamic process. Research design, data, and methodology – Data of this work are collected from Chinese stock exchange including 350 Chinese-listed firms during the period of 1999-2012. We hypothesize that this interrelationship dynamically exists between ownership structure and firm performance. To examine the correlation, a panel Vector Auto-regression (PVAR) approach generated by GMM method is utilized to test the possible dynamic relation embedded in corporate governance. Another two dynamic analysis solutions such as orthogonalized impulse-response function and variance decomposition are also used simultaneously. Results – Findings of this study indicate the evidence that dynamically endogenous relationship exists between ownership structure and firm performance. Further, there is a dynamical correlation between investment and performance. Impulse response and variance decomposition illustrate that impact of a shock to variables themselves is the main source for their variability. Conclusions – The conclusion in this study is that there is a bidirectional and inter-temporal effect between proportion of ownership and corporate performance for a long run in accordance with impulse response function. Overall, our results suggest that corporate governance in China is more market oriented.

        We conducted dynamic downscaling using the RegCM4.0 with 25 km of horizontal resolution over CORDEX-East Asia phase 2 domain for the current climate (1981-2005) and evaluated its performance using various reference datasets. The HadGEM2-AO with about 110 km of horizontal resolution provided by the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) was used as the forcing data of RegCM4.0. the RegCM4.0 generally well simulated the spatial patterns of temperature and precipitation by representing geographical and topographic conditions, compared with HadGEM2-AO. In particular, the warm biases in Mongolia, northern China, and Russia during summer and cold biases in Tibetan Plateau, Mongolia, northeast China, and northern India during winter were reduced. However, the systematic wet (dry) biases of summer precipitation in the most of model domain (South Korea) were still remained. It was associated with the southward shifting of low-level jet caused by the weakened North Western Pacific High in HadGEM2-AO. In South Korea, the RegCM4.0 showed a better performance than HadGEM2-AO in terms of the magnitude and spatial variability of both temperature and precipitation. In particular, the RegCM4.0 performed better in simulating the ratio of extreme precipitation over 100 mm/day to total precipitation than HadGEM2-AO. The RegCM4.0 reasonably reproduced the frequency and inter-annual variability of heavy rainfall, frost day, and tropical night over South Korea.

        As an important aspect of vulnerability ,economic vulnerability is a research hot issue in vulnerability and Tourism sustainability research field. On the basis of defining vulnerability, the paper combines vulnerability with the tourism economic system. Taking the Yellow River delta efficient ecological economic zone as an example, the paper establishes an assessment model of tourism economic system vulnerability, and evaluates the tourism economic system vulnerability using the entropy method and the comprehensive evaluation method. Using obstacle degree analyze the main obstacle factors of cities in the paper . The evaluation result is that the Yellow River delta efficient ecological economic zone has a vulnerable tourism economic system, which is almost in line with the actual situation.

        본 논문에서는 물리기반 동적 변형을 실시간에 안정적으로 시뮬레이션하는 새로운 ARAP (as-rigid-as-possible) 방법을 제안한다. 1, 2, 3차원 물체의 변형을 안정적이며, 빠르고, 일관성 있게 다루기 위하여 방향성 입자로 이루어진 변형 그래프를 도입하고 그에 따른 ARAP 변형 에너지를 공식화한다. 방향성 입자의 안정적인 시간 적분을 위해서는 변분 공식화에 기반을 둔 내재적 시간 적분 기법을 개발한다. 또한 국지적/전역적 최적화를 교대로 반복 적용하여 방향성 입자의 최적 위치 및 회전을 구한다. 제안된 방법은 구현이 쉽고 복잡한 변형을 실시간에 시뮬 레이션할 수 있을 정도로 빠르다.

        Dynamic Positioning (DP) is used to automatically maintain the position and heading of a floating structure subjected to environmental disturbances. A DP control system is composed of a motion controller to compute the desired force and moment and a thrust allocator to distribute the computed force and moment to multiple thrusters considering mechanical and operational constraints. Among various thruster configurations, azimuth thrusters or propeller/rudder pairs tend to make the allocation problem difficult to solve, because these types of propulsion systems include nonlinear constraints. In this paper, a dynamic positioning strategy for a twin-thruster ship that is propelled by two azimuthing thrusters is addressed, and a thrust allocation method which does not require a numerical optimization solver is proposed. The applicability of the proposed method is demonstrated with an experiment using an autonomous boat.

        The tracking filter plays a key role in the accurate estimation and prediction of maneuvering a vessel’s position and velocity when attempting to enhance safety by avoiding collision. Therefore, in order to achieve accurate estimation and prediction, many oceangoing vessels are equipped with the Automatic Radar Plotting Aid (ARPA) system. However, the accuracy of prediction depends on the tracking filter’s ability to reduce noise and maintain a stable transient response. The purpose of this paper is to derive the optimal values of the gain parameters used in tracking a High Dynamic Warship. The algorithm employs a α-β-γ filter to provide accurate estimates and updates of the state variables, that is, positions, velocity and acceleration of the high dynamic warship based on previously observed values. In this study, the filtering coefficients α, β and γ are determined from set values of the damping parameter, ξ. Optimization of the damping parameter, ξ, is achieved experimentally by plotting the residual error against different values of the damping parameter to determine the least value of the damping parameter that results in the optimum smoothing coefficients leading to a reduction in the noise corruption effect. Further investigation of the performance of the filter indicates that optimal smoothing coefficients depend on the initial and average velocity of the target.
