        PURPOSES : The turning movement of vehicles is directly affected by such factors as vehicle length, wheelbase, steering angle, articulated angle, and wheel steering. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the impact of changes in each factor on the turning of the vehicle. Because a vehicle with a long body, such as an articulated bus, makes a wide turn, this study analyzes the swept path of the driving vehicle considering the specifications of the vehicle. METHODS : This study was conducted by dividing driving routes into four routes of two-lane four-way roundabouts, and the turning conditions were examined for six types (Type 1–6) that simulated actual articulated bus data. The same vehicle specifications as those of the actual articulated bus were applied to the road design simulation (AutoTURN Pro), and the width of the swept path for the articulated bus was investigated based on the wheel steering control. Using a virtual reference line for dividing the inscribed circle into lanes of the roundabout by 5°, the driving width of the swept path was measured and the angle at which the driving width was largest during driving through the turning intersection was examined. In addition, the changes in the driving width of the swept path according to the wheel steering control under the same wheel turning conditions, as well as the articulated and steering angles, were investigated. RESULTS : The driving width of the swept path for the vehicle (Type 1) with the front wheel control function being an all-wheel system was less than that of an articulated bus with the largest driving width of 15° after entering the roundabout and 15° before entering the roundabout (Type 2). Furthermore, although the specifications of the vehicles were the same, it was determined that Type 5 was superior to Type 6 after reviewing the driving width in light of changes in the steering and articulated angles. CONCLUSIONS : The results of this study are expected to contribute to the field of road design considering traffic safety when large vehicles, such as articulated buses, turn on roundabouts or curved road sections.

        사출성형공정은 열가소성 수지를 가열하여 유동상태로 만들어 금형의 공동부에 가압 주입한 후에 금형 내에서 냉각시키는 공정으로, 금형의 공동모양과 동일한 제품을 만드는 방법이다. 대량생산이 가능하고, 복잡한 모양이 가능한 공정으로, 수지온도, 금형온도, 사출속도, 압력 등 다양한 요소들이 제품의 품질에 영향을 미친다. 제조현장에서 수집되는 데이터는 양품과 관련된 데이터는 많은 반면, 불량품과 관련된 데이터는 적어서 데이터불균형이 심각하다. 이러한 데이터불균형을 효율적으로 해결하기 위하여 언더샘플링, 오버샘플링, 복합샘플링 등이 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 랜덤오버샘플링(ROS), 소수 클래스 오버 샘플링(SMOTE), ADASTN 등의 소수클래스의 데이터를 다수클래스만큼 증폭시키는 오버샘플링 기법을 활용하고, 데이터마이닝 기법을 활용하여 품질예측을 하고자 한다.

        Motor-operated valve functions to block or connect the flow of fluid in nuclear power plant and especially safety-related valves are evaluated with operability margin calculations, that should have positive value in both open and close stroke. Although all actuators have inertia force which increase operating margin of valve closing stroke, inertia force, after control switch operation in actuator is not considered in evaluating operability margin calculation process. In this paper, the hidden margin by inertia force of each actuator model in closing stroke was studied quantitatively.

        본 논문에서는 등가 단자유도를 이용하여 구조부재의 정적변위를 고려하는 해석기법을 제시하였다. 기존의 단자유도 비선형 동적 해석 알고리듬을 구조부재의 초기정적변위의 영향을 고려할 수 있도록 개선하였다. 가정된 폭발하중 지속시간과 부재의 고유주기 비 에 따라 정적변위가 최대응답에 미치는 영향의 차이와 폭발하중의 방향과 초기변위의 방향에 따른 차이를 확인하였다. 이에 따라 기 존의 응답 차트를 정적변위를 고려할 수 있도록 폭발하중의 형태에 따라 각각 제시하였다. 설계 예제를 정적변위가 고려된 응답 차트 에 적용하여 부재의 최대 변위를 비교 및 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 초기 정적변위를 고려한 구조부재의 최대응답을 쉽게 산 정할 수 있으며 본 연구에서 제시한 응답 차트는 플랜트 또는 군사시설물의 내폭 설계에 활용될 수 있다.

        이 논문에서는 이동하는 질량체의 연직 방향에 대한 관성 효과를 고려하여 보의 진동을 해석할 수 있는 유한요소해석 방법을 제안 한다. 제안하는 방법은 정밀한 상호작용 해석을 요하지 않는 경우에 계산의 효율성을 높이는 방법으로서, 이동하는 질량체의 관성 효 과를 운동방정식에 연계시키고 질량체와 보의 상호작용력은 외부 하중으로만 고려한다. 범용 유한요소해석 소프트웨어인 Abaqus를 이용하여 시간 영역 해석을 수행하고 보의 절점과 이동하는 강체 질량의 절점 변위를 다지점 구속조건으로 연계하여 해석하는 방법 을 제시하였다. 기존 해석적 방법에 의한 해와 비교하여 제안하는 방법을 검증하고 보행하중 모델을 이용한 이동 보행 하중해석에서 보행자의 질량 효과를 살펴보기 위한 간단한 연속 보 모델에 대한 해석 결과를 제시하였다.

        This study was conducted with students who had experience in purchasing nail products asa result of by taking the nail design course of the department of beauty at a junior college. The purpose of this study was to provide useful information to nail companies, including the importance of product elements and effective media promotion, to support the planning and promoting of nail products for beauty major students. Means analysis, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were conducted on detailed characteristics related to nail beauty (degree of nail management, degree of contact with nail beauty media) and considerations for the purchase of nail products. The results were as follows: For beauty major students, it was concluded that the greater the interest in nail beauty, such as degree of nail management and degree of contact with nail beauty media, the greater the interest in product quality, purpose, and safety, which are practical product elements considered when purchasing nail products. It was also confirmed that Instagram and YouTube advertising media have a significant effect on promoting nail product brands for beauty major students. As the subjects of this study comprise beauty major students in their early 20s, there is a limit to expanding and applying the conclusions of this study to general nail product consumers. Therefore, in subsequent studies, analysise of a wider range of nail product consumers should be conducted through an expanded sampling method.

        While protecting its lives and property from natural disasters such as floods and droughts, North Korea needs to develop into an informationized industrial society by securing renewable energy power in the era of energy transition. In addition, existing research has considered that a policy of continuous and consistent expansion of renewable energy based on the safety of the lives of ordinary people could be the solution. South Korea needs to recognize that the supply of energy for a minimum of living is more important to the North Korean people than the economic benefits of securing North Korea's renewable energy market. Therefore, in this paper, from that point of view, we have calculated the amount of electricity that North Korea lacks necessary for the lives of its inhabitants that can be replaced by renewable energy, and considered ways to estimate the market value.

        ROK Navy intends to secure the Korean-type aircraft carrier in order to effectively prepare for various future security threats. In general, the Korean national competency is considered to be at the level of having an aircraft carrier, but it is unclear what scale aircraft carrier would be appropriate. In this study, the efficiency was evaluated through the relative comparison between national competency(national power, economic power) and the scale of aircraft carriers, and the optimal scale of the Korean-type aircraft carrier that could be acquired was presented. A DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) model was applied to aircraft carriers(19 aircraft carriers in 11 countries) currently in operation and scheduled to be possessed in the world. As input variables, CINC(Composite Index of National Capability) and GDP(Gross Domestic Product), which are the most widely used as indicators of national and economic power, and as output variables, the full-load displacement, length, and width of aircraft carriers were selected. ARIMA(short-term within 5 years) and simple regression(long-term over 5 years) were used to estimate the future national competency of each country at the time of aircraft carriers acquisition. The relative efficiency score of the Korean-type aircraft carrier currently being evaluated is 1.062, and it was evaluated as small-scale aircraft carrier compared to the national competency. Based on Korean national competency, the optimal scale of the Korean-type aircraft carrier calculated by aggregating benchmark groups, is 58,308.1 tons of full-load displacement, 279.4m in length, and 68.3m in width.

        중앙아시아 고려인들은 150여년간 민족정체성을 잃지 않은 재외동포이다. 그들은 본인의 의지와 무관하게 디아스포라가 되었다는 점에서 독특한 이주 역사를 가지고 있다. 그들은 아직까지도 중앙아 시아, 연해주, 한국 등 각 지역에서 디아스포라의 삶을 이어가고 있다. 세계화 시대를 맞아 재외동포의 가치가 높아지고 있는 현실을 감안한다면, 이들을 한민족의 테두리 안에 포용하는 일이 시급하고 중요 하다고 할 수 있다. 이 글은 150년이 넘는 중앙아시아 고려인들의 디아스포라로서의 삶을 통시적으로 살펴보면서 그들이 민족정체성을 유지할 수 있었던 원인이 무엇인지 고찰한다. 특히, 가족과 결혼문화 의 변화를 중심으로 살펴본다. 강제이주와 정착, 그리고 현지 적응 과정에서 가족의 해체와 재결합이 어떻게 이루어졌는지, 그리고 세대별 결혼관이 어떻게 변해 왔는지 살펴본다. 이는 중앙아시아 고려인 들의 민족정체성 유지의 역사를 제대로 이해하는 방법이 될 수 있기 때문이다. 결혼은 민족의 생물학적 DNA를 전승하는 데 가장 중요한 매개이다. 어떤 민족이든 결혼을 통해 혈통의 재생산과 민족적 정체 성을 유지해 간다. 따라서 중앙아시아 고려인들의 삶을 세대별 결혼관을 통해 살펴보는 것은 그들의 민족정체성의 단면을 파악할 수 있는 유용한 방법이라고 할 수 있다.

        An automated material handling system (AMHS) has been emerging as an important factor in the semiconductor wafer manufacturing industry. In general, an automated guided vehicle (AGV) in the Fab’s AMHS travels hundreds of miles on guided paths to transport a lot through hundreds of operations. The AMHS aims to transfer wafers while ensuring a short delivery time and high operational reliability. Many linear and analytic approaches have evaluated and improved the performance of the AMHS under a deterministic environment. However, the analytic approaches cannot consider a non-linear, non-convex, and black-box performance measurement of the AMHS owing to the AMHS’s complexity and uncertainty. Unexpected vehicle congestion increases the delivery time and deteriorates the Fab’s production efficiency. In this study, we propose a Q-Learning based dynamic routing algorithm considering vehicle congestion to reduce the delivery time. The proposed algorithm captures time-variant vehicle traffic and decreases vehicle congestion. Through simulation experiments, we confirm that the proposed algorithm finds an efficient path for the vehicles compared to benchmark algorithms with a reduced mean and decreased standard deviation of the delivery time in the Fab’s AMHS.

        As earthquakes have increased in Korea recently, people are paying attention to the seismic performance of buildings built in the past. Many school buildings in Korea were built based on standard drawings before the seismic design was applied. However, since school buildings are often designated as emergency evacuation facilities in case of disasters such as earthquakes, seismic evaluation and retrofit must be done quickly. This study investigated the failure modes among structural components (beams, columns, and joints), focusing on 1980s standard drawings for school buildings. The effects of column axial force, partial masonry infills, and different material strengths for concrete and rebar were considered for detailed evaluation. As a result, most of the joints were found to be the weakest among structural components. Column axial forces tended to make the joints more vulnerable, and partial masonry infills increased the possibility of joint failure and shear failure in columns.

        A simplified method for earthquake response analysis of a rectangular liquid storage tank is proposed with fluid-structure interaction considered. In order to simplify the complex three-dimensional structural behavior of a rectangular liquid storage tank, it is assumed that structural deformation does not occur in the plane parallel to the direction in which the earthquake ground motion is applied but in the plane perpendicular to the direction. The structural deformation is approximated by combining the natural modes of the simple beam and the cantilever beam. The hydrodynamic pressure, the structure’s mass and stiffness, and the hydrodynamic pressure’s added mass are derived by applying the Rayleigh-Ritz method. The natural frequency, structural deformation, pressure, effective mode mass, and effective mode height of the rectangular liquid storage tank are obtained. The structural displacement, hydrodynamic pressure, base shear, and overturning moment are calculated. The seismic response analysis of an example rectangular liquid storage tank is performed using the proposed simplified approach, and its accuracy is verified by comparing the results with the reference solution by the finite element method. Existing seismic design codes based on the hydrodynamic pressure in rigid liquid storage tanks are observed to produce results with significant errors that cannot be ignored.

        유선 및 도선 중 선박길이 12미터 미만인 소형선박은 선박안전법에 따른 복원성 기준 적용이 면제되며, 유선 및 도선 사업법에 따라 승객 및 선원이 탑승 가능한 면적을 고려하여 승선정원을 정하고 있다. 이러한 유선 및 도선 중에서는 건조 이후 차양의 설치 등 복 원성에 영향을 미치는 상부 구조물을 설치하는 사례도 적지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서는 상부 구조물을 설치한 도선에서 실제 발생한 전복 사고의 사례를 바탕으로 해당 도선의 복원성을 추정하여 사고 원인을 분석하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 승선정원을 초과한 상태에서 승객들 이 동시에 하선하고자 기립하여 복원성이 악화된 것으로 나타났으나, 해당 도선이 승선정원을 준수하더라도 한쪽 현의 승객들이 기립하 면 횡경사에 의한 전복의 가능성이 존재하였다. 따라서, 보다 안전한 유선 및 도선사업을 위하여 선박길이 12미터 미만의 유선 및 도선에 대하여 건조 및 개조 시 실선 복원성 시험에 의한 승선정원 산출, 승선정원의 총중량 한곗값 제시 등을 개선방안으로 제시하였다.
