Automobiles are an essential means of transporting passengers and cargo, but traffic accidents are inevitable in their operation. These accidents can occur in various forms, such as front, rear, and side collisions. The resulting damage to the vehicle can also be seen similarly; it is inherently distinct: the complexity of repairing the car body makes a simple reliance on textbook knowledge insufficient. Successful correction of the damaged body largely depends on the experience of the practitioner. Discussions on body repair techniques should be based on empirical data reflecting current industry standards and associated costs. The variability of individual repair methodologies can result in significant time and financial expenditure in the field of automotive bodies. Application of new material technologies to vehicle fabrication requires continuous training and empirical research, especially on the body repair process involving new materials. In particular, since the left and right aprons and side members are made of different materials, such as aluminum and high-strength steel, careful restoration of these parts is required. This paper explores a convergent approach that combines advanced informatics and computational science to develop road-paving materials. It also analyzes research trends that apply artificial-intelligence technologies to propose research directions for developing new materials and optimizing them for road pavements. This paper reviews various research trends in material design and development, including studies on materials and substances, quantitative structure–activity/property relationship (QSAR/QSPR) research, molecular data, and descriptors, and their applications in the fields of biomedicine, composite materials, and road-construction materials. Data representation is crucial for applying deep learning to construction-material data. Moreover, selecting significant variables for training is important, and the importance of these variables can be evaluated using Pearson’s correlation coefficients or ensemble techniques. In selecting training data and applying appropriate prediction models, the author intends to conduct future research on property prediction and apply string-based representations and generative adversarial networks (GANs). The convergence of artificial intelligence and computational science has enabled transformative changes in the field of material development, contributing significantly to enhancing the performance of road-paving materials. The future impacts of discovering new materials and optimizing research outcomes are highly anticipated.
본 연구의 목적은 재료분야 국내 공동특허의 공동 출원인 정보를 이용하여 연구협력 네트워크의 구조, 특징, 진화를 탐구하는 것이다. 이를 위해 재료 기술분야(금속, 세라믹, 고분자 등 6개 기술분야) 및 혁신주체(산업계, 학계, 연구계)의 네트워크 구조 및 동태를 정량적으로 분석하며, 2010년∼2021년까지 한국의 공동특허 데이터를 활용하여 소셜 네트워크 분석(SNA)을 사용한다. 분석결과, 재료분야는 세부기술별로 네트워크의 차별점이 존재하며, 산업계, 학계, 연구계 등 혁신주체별 협력 강도의 명백한 단계별 특성을 가진다. 연구협력 네트워크의 규모는 점차 확장되어 ‘작은 세계’ 구조를 보여주고 있다. 본 연구를 통해 재료 정책 관점에서 지금까지 시행된 재료분야 산학연 협력 정책의 효과를 파악하는데 정책적 시사점을 제공함과 동시에, 보다 효과적인 재료 혁신주체 간의 네트워크를 구축하기 위한 근거 기반의 정책 수립에 도움이 될 수 있다.
최근 토목공학 분야 내 현장조건을 구현할 수 있는 스마트 건설 기술의 요소기술로서 3D 프린팅 기술의 적용 분야 가 확대되고 있다. 센서기술의 보조도구, 모듈러 시공상 적용 등으로 다양하게 활용되고 있는 가운데 3D 프린팅 기술을 단순 부재 제작이 아닌 각각의 부재들이 최대 성능을 발휘할 수 있는 최적설계 도출 방안으로 활용하고자 한다. 이를 위해 3D 프린 팅 재질인 필라멘트를 활용하더라도 신뢰성 있는 최적설계가 도출이 가능한지에 대한 연구가 선행되어야 하며, 이에 본 연구에 서는 지반보강재 중 하나인 지오셀 관련 선행연구 결과와 필라멘트의 물성치가 적용된 해석 결과와의 비교를 통해 재료적 신뢰 성을 검증하고자 한다. 해석 결과, 지오셀 구성요소에 따른 보강성능의 경향이 기존 선행연구 결과와 일치함을 확인하였기에 필 라멘트를 활용하더라고 충분히 신뢰성 있는 최적설계가 도출이 가능할 것이라 판단된다.
This paper reviews on nano-materials as part of a study to apply nano-technology related technologies to the construction field. First, the synthesis method of nano-materials was examined. Secondly, the mechanical application method of nano-materials was investigated. Finally, the analysis method of nano-materials was investigated.
There is a considerable amount of research on metal material product worker’s hearing loss caused by noise that comes from manufacturing process. A further investigation that characterizes the sound that comes from manufacturing process of metal material products. however. To do this, a noise management plan is needed. It should include a generated sound process from the main sources of disturbance at manufacturing process areas. And a soundproof measurement will identify the amount of noise reduction needed for a hearing-safe working environment. Finally, researchers in this study measured tests on the noise and the vibration process, and the noise caused by operations allowed for an investigation on the suitability of certain environmental conditions. Noise-related programs can be used to predict the noise distribution of the noise level characteristic. This can help identify and reduce the presence of sound interference through sound proofing measures.
