기업의 생존력과 경쟁력을 위하여 기술혁신을 지속적이고 장기적으로 추구하 고 추진하려는 기업의 전반적인 사고방향을 나타내는 기술혁신지향성의 중요성이 대두하고 있다. 기술혁신지향성이 기업의 지속적인 경쟁우위 확보에 개념적으로나 실무적으로 중요한 의미를 내포하고 있지만, 기업의 성공적인 기술혁신과 성과를 위한 기술혁신지향성의 역할에 대한 체계적인 연구는 현재까지 제한적으로 수행되어 왔다. 기술혁신지향성에 대한 기존 연 구의 미비점을 인지하여, 본 연구에서는 기술혁신지향성에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 기업 내외부 의 핵심적인 요인들을 선택하여, 선행요인들과 기술혁신지향성 및 기술혁신지향성 사이의 상 황관계를 나타내는 연구모델과 가설들을 제안하고 이를 실증분석 하였다. 제안된 연구모델 에서 선택된 기술혁신지향성의 선행요인들은 최고경영자의 기술기능 직무경력과 기능 간 상호통합(cross-functional integration)의 두 내부요인과 환경 불확실성과 경쟁강도의 두 외부 요인을 포함하였고 이 요인들이 결과적으로 기술혁신지향성을 매개로 기업의 기술혁신성과 에 영향을 미치는 것으로 제시하였다. 또한 이 연구모델에서는 환경 불확실성과 경쟁강도의 두 환경요인이 기술혁신지향성과 기술혁신성과 사이의 관계를 긍정적으로 조절하는 효과를 갖는 것으로 제시하였다. 86개의 국내 IT중소기업을 대상으로 분석한 결과, 최고경영자의 기 술기능 직무경력, 기능 간 상호통합, 그리고 환경 불확실성이 기업의 기술혁신지향성에 긍정 적인 영향을 미치고 기술혁신지향성이 기업의 기술혁신성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났다. 또한, 환경 불확실성은 기업의 기술혁신지향성과 기술혁신성과간의 관계를 긍 정적으로 조절하는 효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과가 제시하는 이론적, 실무적 시사점의 중요성에 대해서 논의하였다.

본 연구는 2005년과 2007년에 시행한 중소기업기술통계조사에 모두 응한 중소 기업 중 전자부품, 영상, 음향, 통신 장비 업체(KSIC 32) 142개사를 대상으로 외부 자원 활용 과 흡수능력이 2년 후 경영성과와 혁신성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 또한 흡수능력이 이 들 관계를 어떻게 조절하는지를 실증 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 공동기술개발 여부와 정부지원액으로 측정한 외부 자원 활용은 성과에 유의미 한 영향을 미치지 않았고, 매출액에 대해서만 R&D투자비는 정(+)의, R&D인력비는 부(-)의 영향을 끼쳤다. 그리고 흡수능력의 조절효과는 측정방식과 독립변수에 따라 다르게 나타났 다. 즉, 공동기술개발을 수행할 때의 성과는 R&D투자비가 증가할수록 향상했지만, R&D인 력비는 반대로 작용했다. 그리고 정부의 자금지원이 늘어날수록 성과가 향상하는 기업은 R&D투자비가 낮거나 R&D인력비가 높은 기업이었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 중소기업의 외부 자원 활용이 내부 역량을 대체하지 못하며 오히려 흡수능력을 축적하여 외부 자원 활용의 효과를 극대화 할 필요가 있음을 보여준다. 또한, 공 동기술개발을 수행할 때에는 중소기업의 적극적인 R&D투자가 필요하며 정부의 자금지원은 R&D인력을 보유하고 있으나 자금을 확보하지 못해 독자적인 기술개발이 어려운 기업에 더 욱 효과적이다. 본 연구는 제한된 산업과 표본에서 이루어진 한계가 있지만, 종단적 자료를 통해 인과관계를 규명함으로써 기존 연구들의 한계를 극복하였다.

Many enterprises have been adopting management systems good enough for them and operating the schemes to have competitive edge better than their competitor. One of the finest systems that most companies have been selecting is ISO 14001. ISO 14001, environment management system, is widely known as advancing internal efficiency and productivity in the various industries. As a result, the number of companies that have adopted ISO 14001’s certification have been increasing continuously year by year since ISO 14000 standard was called in 1994s from ISO 18000 standard that originally used. The purpose of this study is to present that ISO 14001’s requirement execution influences on management performance in the small manufacturer. In order to carry out this research, we obtained 96 survey sheets and inspected ten assumptions based on the reliability, validity of the questionnaires. The results of regression analysis are summarized as follows; First, the three factors of ISO 14001 requirement, plan, implementation and operation and management consideration, have an important effect on the operational performance. Second, the three elements of ISO 14001 requirement, environment policy, implementation and operation and management consideration, affect to the financial performance significantly. Based on the results, it is sure that the companies that execute the factors of implementation and operation and management policy have a good performance to achieve operational and financial performance so that it is important to clarify the member’s role, authority and follow the procedure by a company’s process. Also, the truth shows CEO’s continuous will and periodical review of ISO 14001 influence on management performance as well.

ISO 9001, quality management system, is widely known as advancing internal efficiency and productivity in various industry. As a result, the number of companies that have adopted ISO 9001’s certification have been increasing continuously year by year since ISO 9000’ family standard was published in 1987s. This fact shows that a lot of businesses are trying to get the accreditation for improving the competitiveness of quality. The purpose of this study is to present that ISO 9001’s certification motives affect to the requirement’s implementation and show that the execution of requirements influences on management performance in the small manufacturer. In order to carry out this research, we obtained 96 survey sheets and inspected twenty assumptions based on the reliability, validity of the questionnaires. The results of regression analysis are summarized as follows; First, the factors of certification motive influence on the requirement’s implementation except resources management. Second, the two elements of ISO 9001 requirement, resources management and product realization, have an important effect on the operational performance and financial performance considerably in the companies that choose the internal motive. Finally, the two requisites of ISO 9001 requirement, resources management and measurement, analysis and improvement, affect to the operational performance and financial performance significantly in the businesses that select the external motive. Based on the results, the companies that choose the internal motive have a good performance to execute the ISO 9001 requirements. Also, to implement the requirements of ISO 9001 is helpful for the companies to produce the operational and financial performance.

This study analyzes the business performance of research and development(R&D) and especially studies the effect of technology management activity and technology innovation competency on commercialization performance. According to previous studies, the technology management activity can be composed of technological innovativeness, analysis of market, R&D method, and appropriateness for commercialization plan. Also, the technology innovation can be divided into patent, R&D manpower, R&D investment ratio, production capability, and marketing capability. On the result of the analysis, all the components of technology management activity are positively related with commercialization performance. In case of technology innovation competency, however, only production and marketing capabilities have influence on the business performance. Especially, marketing capability controls the effect of technology management activities on the commercialization performance. Consequently, technology management is very important activity for SMEs to succeed commercialization and SMEs should collaborate with production and marketing departments from the early stage of R&D.

최근 빠른 기술과 시장의 변화에 대응하여, 기업의 생존과 성장을 위한 동태적 역량의 하나로 기업의 양면성 조직 특성에 대한 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 빠른 환경변화에도 불구하고 지속적으로 높은 성과를 보이고 있는 기업은 신제품 기술개발역량 측면에서 기존 제품의 점진적 혁신을 통한 활용적 역량과 함께 새로운 시장 및 기술에 대한 탐험적 역량 둘 모두를 구축하고 균형을 갖는 양면성 조직의 특성을 갖는다. 본 연구는 기술혁신 중소기업이 양면성 조직을 구축 및 운영하는 이유와 방법, 기업의 생 존과 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 외부 환경변화에 따른 기업의 내부적 기술혁신전략 과 기업성장단계가 양면성 조직 특성과 성과에 영향을 미친다. 양면성 조직 특성은 구조, 맥 락, 리더십 관점으로 접근하였으며, 연구 분석을 위해 제품의 산업적 특성을 달리하는 3개 중 소기업에 대해 다중사례분석을 수행하였다. 종단적 분석을 통해, 제품의 산업적 특성과 환경 변화에 대응하는 기업의 기술혁신전략 유형에 따라 양면성 조직의 구축 및 운영의 해법이 다르며, 구조, 맥락, 리더십 관점의 양면성 조직 특성이 상호 보완적으로 작용하였다. 또한, 양면성 조직 특성이 중소기업의 생존과 성 과에 중요한 특성임을 확인하였다.

세계화가 빠르게 진행되면서 표준화의 중요성은 날로 증대되고 있으며 표준화를 통한 제품의 호환성 확보는 해외 시장에서의 경쟁력을 결정하는 필수적인 경쟁요소가 되고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 세계적인 흐름에 부응하여 중소기업의 혁신 역량과 기업 내 표준화 교육 활동 및 그 성과 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 국내 정보통신 및 전기전자 업종 중소기업 약 900여개를 대상으로 분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과 표준화 교육활동은 기업의 생산 및 품질개선 정도와 R&D 활동개선에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, R&D 투자비율은 표준화 교육활동이 생산 및 품질개선에 미치는 영향을 조절하는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 중소기업의 표준화 교육 활동, 교육성과, 혁신활동의 관계를 규명함으로써 중소기업 및 관계기관의 의사결정자가 혁신 및 표준화 활동의 성과를 극대화하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 실질적인 시사점을 제공한다는 점에서 그 의미가 있다고 하겠다.

기업이 지속적인 경쟁우위를유지하기 위해서는 환경특성의 변화에 적절하게 대응할 수 있는 혁신역 량이 수반되어야 한다. 기업의 혁신역량은 어떠한 환경의 변화에도 적극적으로 대처할 수 있어야 하며 이는 탐험이나 활용의 특정한 한 가지 혁신전략이 아닌 두 가지 혁신역량 전략을 적절하게 균형을 유지하 며 동시에 추구하는 양면성 혁신을 선택하게끔 하고 있다. 이것이 요즘 기업경영의 화두로 작용하고 있는 조직의 양면성(ambidexterity)이며 조직에 경영관리방식에 새로운 혁신적인 방법으로 채택하고 있다. 조직 양면성에 대한 연구는 March(1991)의 연구이후 선행요인 및 결과요인들에 많은 후속 연구가 있 어왔다. 이와 같은 중요성에도 불구하고 한국기업을 대상으로 한 조직양면성의 선행요인들과 경영성과 및 이들의 매개관계에 대한 실증적 연구는 부족한 편이다. 본 연구에서는 기존문헌고찰을 통해 조직 양면성의 중요한 상황요인으로 환경의 동태성과 혁신성을 고려하고자 한다. 그리고 조직 양면성의 선행요인인 환경동태성과 혁신성이 기업성과에 미치는 직접효과 및 조직 양면성의 매개효과를 파악하기 위하여 실증적 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 국내 혁신형 중소기업 108개 기업을 대상으로 실증적 연구를 분석한 결과 환경의 동태성과 혁신성은 조직의 양면성에 긍정적인 영향을 주고 있으며, 또한 조직 양면성은 환경의 동태성과 혁신성이 기업성과에 미치는 인과관계에서 중요한 매개역할을 하고 있다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었다.

본 연구의 목적은 글로벌화와 정보화라는 급변하는 환경에 적응해야 하는 조직에서 변화를 추구하고 비전을 제시하여 구성원들의 동기를 부여하기 위해 연구의 필요성이 제기 되고 있는 변혁적 리더십이 부하의 심리적 주인의식 및 혁신행동에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지와 변혁적 리더십이 부하의 혁신행동에 미치는 영향력에 심리적 주인의식의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 이러한 연구 목적을 위해 부산과 경남의 15개 중소기업 338명의 구성원을 대상으로 실증연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 변혁적 리더 십의 하위차원인 카리스마, 지적자극, 개별적 배려가 각각 심리적 주인의식에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 심리적 주인의식이 혁신행동에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 변혁적 리더십의 하위차원인 카리스마, 지적자극, 개별적 배려가 모두 혁신행동에 유의적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있음을 검증하였다. 넷째, 변혁적 리더십의 하위차원인 카리스마, 지적자 극, 개별적 배려가 혁신행동에 미치는 영향력에 심리적 주인의식이 각각 매개효과를 가지고 있음을 검증 하였다. 본 연구는 변혁적 리더십이 심리적 주인의식을 매개로 혁신행동에 영향을 주고 있는 새로운 모델 을 제시하였다는 이론적 시사점과 조직에서 구성원들의 혁신행동을 위해서는 변혁적 리더십과 심리적 주인의식의 역할이 중요하다는 실무적 시사점을 제공한다.

In this research, technology innovation capability evaluation model for small and medium enterprises was developed. To develop technology innovation capability evaluation model, two analytic technic was used. First one is AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) to give weight to each main index. Second one is fuzzy set theory to represent ambiguous index to numerical value. Finally, technology innovation capability evaluation model was achieved in combination with the same weight to AHP analysis and fuzzy set theory. With these results, small and medium enterprises can know important point in terms of strengthening the innovation capability evaluation.

본 연구는 CEO의 혁신성, 학습적 문화, 정보 시스템 활용 수준이 기업의 혁신성과에 미치는 영향 그리고 이러 한 혁신성과가 기업의 경제적 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보는데 주요 목적이 있다. 김해시에서 활동하 고 있는 중소제조기업 122개를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 구조방정식을 통해 분석한 결과, CEO의 혁신성과 학습 문화는 각각 기업의 혁신 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 그리고 기업의 혁신 성과는 기업의 경제적 성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 본 연구는 혁신은 대기업의 전유물이 아니며 대기업에게만 효과가 있는 것이 아니라 자원 이 부족하지만 CEO의 경영 스타일과 학습적 문화와 같이 거대한 자본을 들이지 않는 혁신활동으로도 기업의 혁 신을 이끌 수 있다는 것을 제안한다. 또한, 중소기업에게 있어 혁신이 기업 성과를 결정하는 요인으로 밝혀졌기 에 중소기업의 CEO는 실무적으로 이를 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 그리고 마지막으로, 본 연구에서는 기존 문헌과 달리 혁신성과를 경제적 성과와 연결하여 살펴보았다는데 큰 의의가 있다.

본 연구는 한국 제조업 중소기업의 R&D 투자와 성과 간의 관계를 분 석하여 비선형 형태를 확인하고, 문턱값인 투자적정수준을 도출하였다. 기존 연구들 은 투자와 성과 간 시차를 고려하지 않거나, 투자와 성과 간 회귀모형에서 투자 변 수의 1차, 2차 항을 이용한 산술적 계산을 통하여 간접적으로 투자수준을 결정하였 는데, 본 연구에서는 이를 극복하기 위해 2년의 시차를 가정한 문턱회귀모형을 사용 하였다. 분석결과에 의하면, R&D 집중도 및 연구원비율과 이익률간의 관계는 S곡선 형 태를 보였고, 매출액 대비 R&D 투자액 기준으로 6.4%, 종업원수 대비 연구원수 기 준으로 13%가 R&D 투자의 적정수준으로 도출되었다. 연구로부터 도출된 투자 및 성과 간 관계 형태와 문턱값은 향후 기업의 R&D 투자 전략 및 정부 지원 정책의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study is to present that the entrepreneurial orientation affects to management performance in the small manufacturer. In order to carry out this research, we obtained 171 survey sheets and inspected seven assumptions based on the reliability, validity of the questionnaires. The results of regression analysis are summarized as follows; First, the factor of entrepreneurial orientation, innovative-ness, influences on the technical innovation performance and financial performance significantly. Second, the element of entrepreneurial orientation, proactive-ness, has an important effect on the technical innovation performance and financial performance. Finally, the requisite of entrepreneurial orientation, risk taking, affects to the technical innovation performance significantly, but not the financial performance. Based on the results, the companies that achieve the technical innovation and financial performance have an atmosphere to encourage to perform the research and development works and find out innovative ideas and improvement points in processes. However, the entrepreneur is required to take careful judgement for determining the uncertain circumstance.

This study aims to observe effects of global R&D cooperation outcomes and global business abilities of small businesses by a national aid program. This study selected a program, Industry Technical Global Cooperation Project launched from Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT). Also, small businesses CEOs’ roll and efficiency are very important to increase outcomes and improve abilities of their companies. In this study, CEO’s global level or ability is regarded of small businesses’ global level. Then, this study shows positive effects between a national aid program and global R&D cooperation outcome and between global R&D cooperation outcome and global business abilities.

This paper is present the Technology Orientation affects to Enterprise Management Performance. In order to carry out this research, we obtained 212 survey sheets and inspected ten assumptions based on the reliability, validity of the questionnaires. The results of regression analysis are summarized as follows; First, the factor of Technology Orientation, research development activity, affects to all factor of Enterprise Management Performance significantly. Second, the factor of Technology Orientation, research development environment, only effect on the technology performance. Third, research development ability is affect to technology performance and new product performance that factor of Enterprise Management Performance. Finally, technology industrialization ability isn’t affects to Enterprise Management Performance significantly. Based on the results, we are recommendations for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises.

In this paper, due to the instability of the domestic market, global competition is intensifying in the current situation of global capacity building of SMEs for the purpose of developing a diagnostic indicator placed on the purpose. In this model, the results of applying several companies overall global innovation pilot enterprises and non-rated global innovative companies awarded significant difference between the score and the ability to believe the show. Non-global innovation companies, the relative firm size factor and R&D investment and patent number of factors are lacking appeared shone This is a common small business nature of the majority of companies small and R&D investment, the absolute amount is insufficient to reflect that, but the global innovator in the case of firm size and the relatively large amount of investment that never shows.

본 연구에서는 해외 진출한 국내 정보통신 중소기업을 대상으로 현지파트너로부터 시장기회 파악과 활용 정도에 미치는 영향요인을 조직학습이론 관점에서 살펴보았다. 실증분석결과 해외진출한 국내 중소기업의 경우 학습의도, 관계자본, 인지자본이 클수록 현지파트너로부터 시장기회파악과 활용 정도는 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 사전지식 정도와 구조자본의 경우에는 현지파트너로부터 시장기회 파악보다는 해외진출한 국내 중소기업이 획득한 지식을 현지시장에 맞게 활용하는데 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 본 연구에서는 진출 중소기업의 사전지식이 현지파트너로부터 시장기회 파악과 활용에 미치는 영향관계에서 사회자본의 매개변수효과를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 인지자본만이 사전지식이 현지파트너로부터의 시장기회 파악 및 활용에 미치는 관계에서 매개변수로서 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.
