        Background: Chronic back pain not only causes physical discomfort and decreased functionality but also affects emotional well-being, resulting in feelings of anxiety, depression, and other psychological issues. Studies have indicated that cognitive functional therapy and motor control exercises can alleviate chronic low back pain and associated psychological issues. Objectives: To investigated the effect of chronic low back pain on the cognitive functional therapy (CFT) and motor control exercises (MCE). Design: Quaxi-experimental study. Methods: Forty patients with chronic low back pain were randomly assigned and divided into 20 cognitive functional therapy group with motor control exercises group (CFTMG) and 20 patients in motor control exercises group (MCEG). After applying CFT with motor control exercises and motor control exercises for 8 weeks, changes in numeric pain rating scale (NPRS), Oswestry disability index (ODI) and Fear-avoidance beliefs questionnaire (FABQ) were observed. Results: In the CFTMG, statistically significant changes were observed in NPRS, ODI, and FABQ before and after the intervention. In the MCEG, statistically significant changes were observed in VAS and ODI before and after the intervention. Conclusion: The application of CFTM and MCE in patients suffering from chronic low back pain has demonstrated effectiveness in alleviating pain, enhancing back function, and reducing kinesiophobia associated with the condition.

        For motor controller designers, building a simulation environment is not a difficult process. After verifying the controller by simulation, it is common to select 20kHz for the current control loop, 1kHz for the speed loop, and 100Hz for the position loop when implementing the actual HW embedded system. This is because maximized cycles (20kHz) for each control loop are unnecessary in control theory and are a waste of cost and HW resources. However, in a simulation environment, each loop will often have the same control cycle (20kHz maximum). This is because we think it is unnecessary to reflect this part in the simulation. In this paper, it is shown that the difference in the sampling time of each control loop makes a big difference in the simulation result, and as a solution, it is proposed to apply LPF to the position loop output stage. In the process, the reasons for the differences were analyzed, and the effect of LPF, the reason for application, and the feasibility of implementation were proved by actual software coding.

        본 논문은 직류전동기(DC motor)와 전기적인 특성은 유사하지만, 수명과 신뢰성이 향상된 BLDC 모터의 제어기법에 대해 언 급하고 있다. BLDC모터는 회전자의 위치 정보를 사용하여 직류전동기의 기계적인 접촉에 의한 정류 장치를 제거함으로써 내구성과 속도 안정성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 BLDC모터의 권선에 흐르는 전류가 직류전동기의 전기자에 흐르는 구형파 형태의 전 류인 것에 착안하여 직류전동기에 대한 제어기를 설계하고, 설계된 제어기를 3상 BLDC모터에 적용하여 제어기의 유효성을 확인하였 다. 이를 위해 3상 BLDC모터의 전기적인 파라미터 값을 가지는 단상 직류전동기의 모델링을 실시하였고, 도출된 시스템에 대해 근궤 적법을 적용하여 전동기의 속도제어를 위한 PI 제어기를 설계하였다. DC 전동기의 속도제어 시뮬레이션을 시행하여 제어기의 성능을 확인하였고, 동일한 제어기를 MATLAB으로 구현한 3상 BLDC모터의 속도제어에 적용하였다. DC 전동기와 유사한 제어 결과를 3상 BLDC모터에서 얻을 수 있었고, 이를 통해 연구에서 제안한 제어기법의 유용성을 확인할 수 있었다.

        This paper proposes a possibility of using active front-end rectifier with the SVPWM method for induction motor speed control, which is applicable to small electric propulsion boats. The proposed method can produce a more precise sinusoidal input current waveform and a higher power factor than conventional methods. Its speed, torque, input current, DC voltage, and load current control performance are similar to or better than those of conventional methods. Through computer simulations using the PSIM program, the validity of the proposed method was verified by comparing and analyzing the characteristics of the conventional methods and the proposed method.

        직류전동기는 속도제어가 간단하고, 출력 토크특성이 우수한 장점으로 윈치나 카고 펌프 모터 등으로 선박에서 많이 사용되었으며, 전기추진선박이 도입된 초기에는 선박용 추진전동기로도 적용되었다. 하지만 브러시와 정류기와 같은 기계적 정류장치의 단점으로 인해 최근에는 직류전동기와 전기적인 특성은 매우 유사하지만 기계적인 정류장치를 설치하지 않고 반도체 소자를 이용한 전자적인 정류장치를 사용하는 브러시리스 직류전동기의 사용이 증가하고 있다. 기존의 브러시리스 직류전동기를 구동하기 위한 인버터 시스템은 2 상여자방식을 사용하므로 역기전력파형이 사다리꼴모양으로 되며, 이로인해 전류가 흐르는 권선이 바뀌는 상전류 전환 구간에서 고조파와 토크리플이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 고조파와 토크리플을 저감하기 위한 다양한 방안이 연구되어 발표되었으며, 본 연구에서는 전력분 석프로그램을 이용하여 브러시리스 직류전동기의 구동회로에 비례적분 속도전류제어기 알고리즘을 구현한 Cascaded H-Bridge 멀티레벨 인버터를 적용하였다. 모델링한 브러시리스 직류전동기의 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안하는 전동기의 구동방식을 적용하는 경우에 기존의 구동방식에 비해 전동기 입력측 전압파형 개선과 고조파 및 토크리플이 현저히 저감되는 결과를 확인할 수 있었다.

        Background: It is necessary to find and develop the effective way of intervention for patients with neck pain, since the neck pain is becoming increasingly common throughout the world. To identify the altered motor control in patient with neck pain would be informative to find and develop the effective way of intervention. Objects: The aim of this study was to review literature regarding the altered motor control in patients with neck pain, measured by using surface electromyography (sEMG), ultrasonography, and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and to suggest prospective research work on neck pain. Methods: Case-control (neck pain/healthy) studies published between 2004 and 2015 that investigated neck muscle activation, thickness, cross-sectional area, and fat infiltrate were searched in Scopus, PubMed, and ScienceDirect. Twenty-eight articles were included in this study. Results: sEMG, ultrasonography, and fMRI were used complementarily to investigate the altered superficial and deep neck muscle activation, thickness, cross-sectional area, and fat infiltrate in patients with neck pain. They showed the following altered motor control when compared retrospectively with healthy subjects or during specific functional tasks: (1) increased superficial muscle activation, (2) lesser deep muscle thickness, (3) smaller cross-sectional area of the deep muscle, and (4) greater fat infiltrate in deep muscles. In particular, among the women, the office workers showed higher muscle activation of superficial neck muscles during functional tasks, although they did not have neck pain, than those who were not office workers. Conclusion: Studies revealed that patients with neck pain showed an altered motor control when compared with healthy subjects by using various assessment modalities. Understanding this phenomenon would help researchers design an effective intervention for alleviating neck pain or to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. In addition, we recommend that female office workers take measures to care for their necks before developing neck pain.

        We investigated unknown in vivo functions of Torsin by using Drosophila as a model. Downregulation of Drosophila Torsin (DTor) by DTor specific inhibitory double-stranded RNA (RNAi) induced abnormal locomotor behavior and increased susceptibility to H2O2. In addition, altered expression of DTor significantly increased the numbers of synaptic boutons. One of important biochemical consequence of DTor-RNAi expression in fly brains was up-regulation of alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH). Altered expression of ADH has also been reported in Drosophila Fragile-X mental retardation protein (DFMRP) mutant flies. Interestingly, expression of DFMRP was altered in DTor mutant flies, and DTor and DFMRP were present in the same protein complexes. In addition, DTor and DFMRP immunoreactivities were partially colocalized in several cellular organelles in larval muscles. Furthermore, there were no significant differences between synaptic morphologies of dfmrp null mutants and dfmrp mutants expressing DTor-RNAi. Taken together, our evidences suggested that DTor and DFMRP might be present in the same signaling pathway regulating synaptic plasticity.         The agitator with a reducer are usually using on the process of a water treatment. However, working the reducer at the field, a lubricant oil can leak out. It causes an environment pollution and a water service/sewerage pollution problem. In this study, the reducer with a drywell structure is developed in order to prevent the oil leakage. The drywell structure is that the reducer bottom housing and the support column of an output shaft are united, and taper roller bearings are in the bottom housing. During the development of the reducer, a mockup and a prototype are made by using CAD and a high speed CNC machine. Then, to prove the performance of the prototype, the performance tests, unload working test and the mechanical torque efficiency test, are conducted by the torque meter device. Also a motor velocity(rpm) control system is developed by a PID control according to the working loads(MLSS data). The results of the test are shown that the maximum torque efficiency is 88.45%, the oil leakage and the abnormal noise do not occur during the work. Therefore the reducer with the drywell structure and the motor rpm PID control system is successfully developed.

        Tracking is an experimental paradigm that can be used to study information processing in continuous movements involving accurate, ongoing control of motor performance. The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of knee tracking performance. Six patients with hemiplegia and six age-matched controls participated in the study. The tracking test was administrated. It was composed with regular ranges of to and randomized range .2 to .4 Hz. Using the Mann-Whitney U test, a comparison was made between subjects who had suffered from stroke and subjects who were well coordinated. The Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Signed Ranks Test was used to compare and analyze the paretic and nonparetic sides of the stroke patients. The results of study were as follows: accuracy index of the tracking test was significantly higher on the control side than paretic and nonparetic sides. Accuracy index scores were significantly higher for nonparetic sides with stroke compared with paretic sides with stroke. This study shows tracking is impaired in paretic and nonparetic knee of subjects with stroke.

        본 연구에서는 구조가 간단하고 경제적이며, 보수유지 면에서 능동형 진동제어 장치로서 매우 유리한 장점을 가지고 있는 선형모터 댐퍼(LMD : linear motor damper)를 개발하여 유니슨 기술연구소에 설치된 대형 철골구조물에 적용하였다. 개발된 LMD는 1,500kg의 가동질량을 갖고 있으며, 최대 \pm250mm의 변위로 움직일 수 있다. 제어 대상 시험구조물의 최저차 2개 진동형만을 가지는 축소모델을 사용하여 H_{\infty} 제어로직을 설계하였다. 일련의 성능 검증시험을 통해 시험 구조물의 1, 2차 진동형에 대해 가속도 레벨이 약 l0dB 감소함을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 LMD가 풍 및 지진하중을 받는 구조물의 진동제어용 제진장치로서 가능성이 있음을 확인하였다.

        Objective: To explore the effectiveness of sensory integrative procedures in promoting postural control, bilateral coordination and motor planning outcomes in child with developmental delay. Design: A single-subject ABA research design. Setting: Early Intervention Center of University. Participant: A 7-year-old boy with developmental delay. Interventions: Sensory integrative procedure. The subject was tested four times before, four times during, and three times after intervention. Main Outcome Measure: Part of subtests of DeGangi-Berl Test of Sensory Integration, Bruininks-Oseretsky Motor Proficiency and Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. Result: Postural control and motor planning are effected on sensory integrative procedure. Bilateral coordination did not change by this study. The quality of performance was increased by the therapy.
