        Global interests in RFID are increased and Korean government and companies make an active effort to propagate and spread RFID. Due to the overwhelming advantages of RFID system in comparison with existing bar code system, ripple effects on logistics sector among the utilizing fields of RFID technology are expected to be great, but application of RFID system is lowly progressed unlike the expectation of several experts. Therefore, this research extracts precedent studies on theoretical background, applying fields, promotion condition and domestic/foreign parts of RFID system, factors for operating domestic RFID system and effects and considers the effects of RFID's external variables on easiness and effectiveness of TAM. It confirms the relations of RFID applying effects for companies applying and utilizing RFID and verifies the relations among the effects for application of RFID system, accepting intention of RFID system and applying effects. Based on the results of analysis, it should play a role of good guide for all of companies and institution who will introduce RFID system to all of Korean logistics fields, make policies and systems which promote RFID acceptance nationally and socially and play a role of guide making confident climate for RFID technolog

        Many systems using RFID/USN were and are being developed. Some systems are used in practice and some are not. Generally, the main reasons not being used are: The prices of chips are too high considering the effects. The application domain is not appropriate for RFID/USN. So, various skills for higher sensing precision have been introduced like using multiple sensors and avoiding metals which deter sensings seriously. Now, it is time to evaluate systems which were developed using RFID/USN technology. However, no systematic approach has been made for the evaluation. In this paper, a framework using BSC is introduced for the evaluation of systems using RFID/USN. In this framework, some Critical Success Factors(CSF) are derived and some Key Performance Indices(KPI) are developed for each CSF.

        For an effective energy management in intelligent buildings it is necessary to gather information about position/absence of people and the level of population. In this paper the smart occupancy detection system using the active RFID is developed to satisfy such a demand based on the results of previous research. First of all the design considerations and functions of the system are introduced. In sequence the functions of the system is presented, and then the performance of the developed system is tested and verified through various field tests. The developed core technology can be also applied to other fields such as security, healthcare, smart home, etc.

        The today many companies are tilting to enjoy the dominant position in the globalization of global market. Therefore, The efficient logistics management is a core element in the competitiveness of company that respond more quickly and effectively to market. Now, The companies are building an integrated SCM(Supply Chain Management) system that is able to manage and operate procurement, production, distribution & logistics activity. Among the IT infra, The RFID technique is received special attention for this successful SCM System, continuously it is being researched and developed. Also, they recognize RFID techniques that offer various services at supply chain flow, create value of company. This study propose implications in other industry for biz model development and direction based on RFID in many industry through case study for development of the distribution logistics information system on using RFID.

        Industrial business environments have rapidly changed and face severe competitive challenges. The effective inventory system enables to product and deliver the products quickly for meeting due date of customer's order in this environment. This study have developed a web-based inventory system using RFID for an injection molding industry. The system analysis inventory problem issues such as inventory planning, warehouse assignment and assist to develop production scheduling. In this study, web-based inventory system using Java language and RFID technology is proposed and implemented. As the result of implementation of the system, we expected that it manages to inventory planning continually and systematically.

        Owing to the latest changes in the IT environment and the advancement of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, the RFID technology has been frequently applied to the field of logistics and distribution. Now it is possible to acquire information in real-time more accurately and promptly as compared to data collection in the past, through the application of the RFID technology. However, in terms of the application of the RFID technology, the range of the field of logistics and distribution is considerably widely distributed. The management system that is able to monitor the RFID system installed in logistics centers and stores distributed in environmentally many regions, in real-time in the center is insufficient. Therefore, this study proposes a management system which is capable of transmitting the report of the occurrence of errors according to the pre-defined error types at the time of the occurrence of errors in the RFID system installed at each strategic foothold, in real-time to SMS and to the integrated monitoring system, and of taking actions for those errors from a remote place by using a mobile device. The purpose of the error management system proposed in this study is to minimize a data loss in the supplying network by quickly coping with errors in the area where the RFID system is installed.

        Door to door service is a typical method for individual parcel deliveries. In the current delivery information system, a delivery person manually inputs the information of many delivery results, which causes inefficiency and difficulties of tracking deliveries. This study suggests an enhanced delivery information system which has the following two characteristics. Firstly, a tagged RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) transmits the delivery result information to the main server by just collecting RFID at a place of destination. Secondly, with the characteristics of rewritable method, the collected RFID is to be input new information and tagged to other parcels.

        "Domestic delivery service" is defined the service to deliver goods or packages from point of senders to point of receiver. With the characteristics of door to door, it is must a service provider should know the exact location of destination assuring best utilization of moving path. Generally, location information consist of postal code and address only, which result in difficulties to identify the precise location of destination. It is relatively less correlated between the information that address refers and practical location in Korea address system. For example, the next door to house number 100 is not always house number 101. Therefore, a delivery man additionally uses a paper map or a GPS navigation which carry extra job to input every code of location to the device in order to know precise location. It is also very inconvenient that every delivery man identify the location that address information refers and make a personal decision of the optimum moving path dropping each destination without calculating provisioning process of whole delivery path. As explained above, it is inefficient to find information delivery service required and to generate the optimum path. In results, these difficulties bring in delay of service and increase of cost. In this point, the contents of the thesis suggest a GPS navigation system easy to obtain accuracy of delivery information which enables to automate optimum moving path based on RFID which contains location information.

        In this paper, we developed the care system for older people living alone using the RFID technologies and the living informations. The care system store living informations, extracted through a unconstrained detection method by the RFID tags and readers, into a monitering server. The unconstrained detection method improved a weakness of existing systems that detected a living informations through an infrared sensor, ultrasonic sensor, camera, consumed quantity of the tap water or gas. The result of this study will playa very important role, as a part of a composite older-welfare services. Also, in the future, accumulated living informations will be allowed for a health data of older peoples.
