        The paper’s proposition is that Mexican public universities potentiate social oriented activity for gsed purposes while agents in Knowledge and Innovation Networking. But they must comply with the structural restrictions of communicative action. The aim is to present communication principles for Knowledge and Innovation Networking (KIN) that promotes Green Sustainable Economic Development (gsed) in Latin American societies, characterized by heterogeneous cultural traits and varied levels of economic and political development, within countries themselves and between them. Prime gsed issues are the preservation of natural resources considering their use and enjoyment by the coming generations, the right to material progress of developing countries as well as the obligation of developed economies to reduce their energy consumption (raw energy and processed commodities). However, the validity of any gsed model is questionable unless it is coherent in terms of what gsed is considered both locally and globally, thus the relevance of networking for knowledge and innovation (see Hidalgo 2011), integrated with regional, national and international innovation systems. How can Knowledge and Innovation Networking (kin) increase university participation in the promotion of gsed? This is a question that this paper aims to answer and provide some strategies to increase participation and contribution to gsed. Knowledge and innovation networks are environments for participation of key social groups where concurrence protocols ease both lawfulness and transparency regarding market issues (global, regional and local) and sustainable development. On-line kin interactions implementation are insufficient for gsed, but will provide participants (state, business, universities and individuals) favorable environments for coordinated actions that represent added value to each and all participants with a reduced hierarchical control because the overall purpose is redefinition of gsed principles that meaningful taking into consideration each participant’s condition.

        The purpose of this study is to present and explore current state and reform tendency of teacher education curriculum of Normal universities in China, focusing on curriculum provisions and training methods of pre-service teachers. For this purpose, the background of teacher education curriculum reform has been discussed at first from angles of society, the government and Normal Universities. It is obvious that China’s teacher education courses have attained internationally known achievements over the past decades and have supported the largest scale of basic education all over the world. The current focal problem of China’s teacher education is not the problem of teacher’s quantity, but quality. In order to adapt to the new situation and tendency, the Chinese government adjusted strategic direction and provided new guidance on teacher education for improving the quality. It includes the transformation of teacher education models from “planned training” to “market oriented control”; active support for improving teacher’s academic levels; implementation of the open-type teacher training pattern and so on. According to the government’s control and guidance, Normal Universities should also change training concepts and teacher education philosophy, mainly on enhancing quality-oriented education, emphasizing students’ sustainable self development ability, and attaching importance on the concept of lifelong education. Under this same background, teacher education universities show extreme similarity on curriculum reform. They all stick to the model of one basic training object, two elective specialty calibers for choice, three-dimensional crossed curriculum systems, four types of optional curriculums, five-in-one training patterns, and six aspects of surrounded general education courses. A lot of practice indicates that the reform of teacher education mode in universities is effective and rational to some extent. The model is worth refering to in teacher education curriculum reform, for most countries.

        본 연구는 국내 대학에 개설되어 있는 지역별 연기과 현황과 움직임/신체활동 교과목 및 무용전공 교수의 편성비율을 분석해 보고, 움직임/신체활동 교과목이 왜 필요한지에 대한 시사점을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 기반으로 다양한 움직임/신체활동 교과목을 개발하고 활성화 시킬 수 있도록 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연기자를 위한 움직임/신체활동 교과목의 역할은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신체의 지각능력(움직임의 범위) 및 다양한 연기를 표현 할 수 있는 기본적인 움직임 동작의 기능을 습득하도록 한다. 둘째, 창의적 동작 연출 능력을 다양하게 구사하고 움직임에 대한 독창적인 경험을 얻도록 하며, 그러한 동작과 감정의 표현을 연결하는 구성능력을 향상시킨다. 셋째, 움직임/신체활동 교과목을 통해 연기자에게 필요한 심리적 내지 정신적 안정과 더불어 신체적 발달을 도모한다. 넷째, 연기자의 신체성(몸)에 대한 인식의 전환을 갖도록 한다. 다섯째, 특수한 상황의 연기를 충실히 수행할 수 있는 재능을 향상시킨다. 이처럼 다양한 움직임/신체활동 교과목을 발전시키기기 위한 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 움직임/신체활동 교과목은 연기자에게 맞는 체계적인 교과목 내용으로 구성되어야 한다. 둘째, 움직임/신체활동 교과목을 전공하는 교수를 각 대학에서는 임용해야한다. 셋째, 연기자들을 위한 맞춤형 교수-학습 전략을 적용하여 학생들의 학습동기를 유발하고, 수강신청에 있어서 선호도 인지를 상승시켜 움직임/신체활동 교과목을 활성화시켜야 한다. 넷째, 움직임/신체활동 교과목을 담당하는 교육자들은 연기능력을 향상시키기 위한 움직임/신체활동 교육목표를 명확하게 설정하고, 교수역량을 강화하도록 노력해야 한다.

        This paper presents a case of the implementation of international distance courses between two universities of Taiwan and Japan in Asia-Pacific area. It reports the design of activities engaged in learning with supports of various communication tools. It also examines the students’ interaction and context of learning in distance education. The paper begins by briefly introducing the initiatives, the curriculum and the instructional design on implementation of the case. It then presents results of the study with discussion, along with assessment data available on its success. Meanwhile, it also explores cultural interaction among students and class dynamics observed throughout this study. Finally, this paper closes by making recommendations for further research possibilities and practical applications aiming at enhancing international distance education.

        Recently, technology growth and globalization of the market bring the age of knowledge based economy. These competitive environment require that the firms should cooperate among industry, academia, and institute. Cooperation between firms and universities for research and development is one of the most important business strategy in improving their business competences. This paper studied the factors of the firm involvement in the cooperation between firms and universities for technology development. To analyze the involvement factors, the data of 'R&D activity survey' of Ministry of Science and Technology(MOST) were used. Based on results of the analysis, 6 factors such as firm size, the years of firms, ratio of the researchers, the ratio of collaborative investments, the ratio of new product development, and the number of property right were significant. As the technology cooperation get flourished, the results of this research is expected to play a meaningful role as an basic data for developing the cooperation between industry and academia policy for technology development.

        The purpose of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC)-VA3.0 in patients with hip and knee osteoarthritis (OA). The sample consisted of 301 patients who had received treatments at the physical therapy units of 5 medical institutions in Andong City in june 2006. Questionnaires on the WOMAC were recruited by 12 physical therapists. The internal structure and reliability of the scales were evaluated by means of item-internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha coefficient: ), item-discriminant validity, and Pearson's relation coefficient. To explore construct validity, we conducted a principal component factor analysis with varimax rotation analysis. The criterion for factor extraction was an eigenvalue >1.0. The average age of the patients was 62.1 years. All WOMAC subscales (pain, stiffness, and physical function) were internally consistent with Cronbach's coefficients of .81, .91, and .80, respectively. The internal consistency reliability of item-each scale were also internally consistent with Cronbach's coefficient of .89 (Pearson's correlation coefficient: .71~.84), .93 (.89~.91), and .96 (.67~.91), respectively. However, high correlation was found among 3 items (.66~.83, .66~.67, and .67~.83), so the item-discriminant validity was low ( coefficient: .81, .91, .80, respectively). The construct validity by factor analysis was low because it was not consistent With WOMAC-VA3.0. In conclusion, the results reported here confirm the reliability of the WOMAC in patients with OA of the hip and knee. The collection of information on the hip and knee osteoarthritis using this instrument was acceptable to patients. A further prospective multi-center study will be necessary to prove the construct validity.

        The purpose of this study was to explore and propose an academic administration and organizational model in order to enhance the educational quality of digital distance universities. This study employed a comprehensive cross analysis of a diverse set of information including literature review, analysis of international distance universities, survey of expert opinions, benchmark analysis of domestic distance education enterprises, and survey of distance universities. The suggested model that evolved shows that distance universities should be equipped with detailed services on both the faculty and staff sides of academic administration, instruction-learning support, student aid, and educational evaluation, and that these services also need support in the form of organization. The model also emphasizes flexibility and dynamism that connects services and organizations and enables timely provision of services and top-level receptiveness.

        The purpose of this paper is to investigate English education experts’ current general views on the college English curriculum at Korean provincial universities and elicit their consensus of opinion on the distinctive characteristics of the curriculum. For that purpose, two rounds of the delphi survey were presented to forty experts, with thirty one experts’ responses in the first round and nineteen in the second. Based on their responses, the following characteristics of the Korean college English curriculum for provincial universities were deduced as a consensus of opinion: the curriculum is supposed to be more intensive, practical, proficiency-based, and university-specific than the curriculum for the universities in the Metropolitan area; it is supposed to be English for Specific Purposes (ESP) rather than English for General Purposes (EGP) in order to promote the future career of the individual provincial university students and the competitiveness of the provincial universities themselves.

        The present study invesrigates the current state of English education/research institutes belonging to four-year universities in Korea. Out of 102 institutes that are currently being operated in 167 universities, 67 institutes responded the survey questionnaire. The survey revealed that the universities established foreign-language education institutes to help students meet the challenge of the internationalization era, many of which establisheà in the 1990s. Most of the institutes, however, were small in their size and focusing on short-term profit-making programs, neglecting research on foreign language education. The paper suggests that the institutes should strive to develop good program, improve its research efforts, and networking among similar institutes in different universities.

        이 연구의 목적은 중국 대학 한국어학과에서 개설된 한국문화교 육 관련 교과목과 사용하는 한국어 교재에 대해 살펴보고, 한국어 전공 학습자들의 요구조사를 통해 한국문화교육에 대한 개선 방향을 제시하 는 데 있다. 그 결과, 중국 대학 한국어학과에서 한국 문화에 대한 교 육을 부족하게 다루고 있음을 알 수 있으며, 이에 비해, 한국어학과 재 학 중인 학습자들은 모두 한국문화교육의 중요성과 필요성을 인식하고 있으며, 교육 내용 및 교수학습 측면에 대한 요구가 높았다. 이를 바탕 으로 본 연구에서는 1) 교육 내용의 풍부성, 2) 교수 학습의 다양성, 3) 교재 내용의 실제성, 4) 학습활동의 실천성이라는 네 가지 개선 방향을 제시하여 중국 대학 한국어 전공 학습자들에게 보다 더 적합한 한국문 화교육 방안을 마련하기 위한 토대를 다루었다는 데 의의를 둔다.

        본 연구는 중국 내 대학 한국어 중급 학습자를 대상으로 읽기 전략 사용 양상을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 읽기 능숙자 집단과 미숙 자 집단을 나누어 사고구술법을 활용하여 텍스트 유형별로 두 집단이 사용하는 전략 양상의 차이점과 공통점을 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 두 집단이 설명문을 읽을 때 두드러진 차이를 보이지만 서사문을 읽을 때 전략 각 범주의 분포에서 두드러진 차이를 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 능숙자 집단은 텍스트 유형에 따라 사용하는 읽기 전략에서 다른 양상이 나타나고 미숙자 집단은 거의 같은 전략을 사용하 는 경향이 도출되었다. 셋째, 능숙자 집단이 서사문보다 설명문에 더욱 뛰어나고 우세를 가졌지만 미숙자 집단은 설명문보다 서사문을 조금 더 빠르게 읽고 선호하는 경향을 보였다.

        The main aim of the present study is to investigate the factors that are considered affecting the adoption of Activity-Based Costing (ABC) in the autonomous public universities in Vietnam. A quantitative research was carried out. The data was collected through an online questionnaire survey between June 2020 and September 2020 addressed to the target respondents comprising 168 managers and accountants from 23 autonomous public universities in Vietnam, which participated in the resolution project No. 77/NQ-CP of the Vietnamese government on the pilot renovation of operational mechanisms of public tertiary education institutions during the period of four years, from 2014 to 2017. The findings resulted from hypothesis testing by a binary regression analysis based on the SPSS 20.0 software show that training, competition, support of top manager, and university size are the four main factors that positively affect the adoption of Activity-Based Costing (ABC) in studied universities. On the other hand, no statistically significant impact was found on two other variables, namely the variety of services provided and the usefulness of cost information factors. From the research results, discussions and policy recommendations have been presented to promote the adoption of Activity-Based Costing (ABC) in Vietnamese autonomous public universities in the coming time.
