        경량 골재 콘크리트는 높은 다공성을 지닌 골재를 사용하여 제작되며, 이는 재료의 역학적 성질 및 내구성에 중대한 영향을 미친 다. 최근 콘크리트 분야에서는 내부 공극 구조를 비파괴적으로 분석할 수 있는 기술로서 micro-computed tomography(micro-CT)의 활 용이 활발히 이루어지고 있으며, 특히 경량 골재 콘크리트의 공극 구조를 정밀하게 포착하는 데 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 경 량골재는 이질적인 밀도 분포와 내부 다공성으로 인해 영상 내 분할 과정에서 어려움을 유발하며, 이로 인해 골재가 공극으로 잘못 인 식되거나 경계가 명확히 구분되지 않는 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해 본 연구에서는 경량 골재 콘크리트의 micro-CT 영상에서 골재를 정밀하게 식별할 수 있도록 고안된 향상된 분할 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘의 성능은 기존 의 세분화 방법과의 비교 분석을 통해 평가되었으며, 더불어 제안 방식과 기존 방식 각각으로 생성된 3차원 micro-CT 데이터를 활용 하여 열전도도 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 제안된 알고리즘은 공극 및 골재 경계의 정확한 식별에 있어 기존 기법보다 향상된 정확도를 보였으며, 이는 LWAC의 미세구조 분석 및 거동 예측 모델링의 정밀도를 높이는 데 기여할 수 있는 가능성을 보여준다.

        Accurate estimation of vehicle exhaust emissions at urban intersections is essential to assess environmental impacts and support sustainable traffic management. Traditional emission models often rely on aggregated traffic volumes or measures of average speed that fail to capture the dynamic behaviors of vehicles such as acceleration, deceleration, and idling. This study presents a methodology that leverages video data from smart intersections to estimate vehicle emissions at microscale and in real time. Using a CenterNet-based object detection and tracking framework, vehicle trajectories, speeds, and classifications were extracted with high precision. A structured preprocessing pipeline was applied to correct noise, missing frames, and classification inconsistencies to ensure reliable time-series inputs. Subsequently, a lightweight emission model integrating vehicle-specific coefficients was employed to estimate major pollutants including CO and NOx at a framelevel resolution. The proposed algorithm was validated using real-world video data from a smart intersection in Hwaseong, Korea, and the results indicated significant improvements in accuracy compared to conventional approaches based on average speed. In particular, the model reflected variations in emissions effectively under congested conditions and thus captured the elevated impact of frequent stopand- go patterns. Beyond technical performance, these results demonstrate that traffic video data, which have traditionally been limited to flow monitoring and safety analysis, can be extended to practical environmental evaluation. The proposed algorithm offers a scalable and cost-effective tool for urban air quality management, which enables policymakers and practitioners to link traffic operations with emission outcomes in a quantifiable manner.

        The most basic control algorithm of the electric power steering system in the Korean refrigerating cart CoCo was first commercialized as a prototype in 2022 after the Motor Driven Power Steering (Electric Power Steering) was verified and applied to automobiles. In order to overcome the heavy load of small machines such as refrigerating carts weighing 750Kgf, the driver's great power is required, which can cause muscle skeletal disorders, causing many female drivers to complain of pain, and recently applied electric steering technology because it was urgent. In this study, we study a control algorithm that complements the stability of the existing control algorithm applied to the electric power steering device for electric carts and analyze and verify the steering performance of refrigerated carts through analysis using MATLAB/SIMULINK.

        페어리드 체인 스토퍼(Fairlead Chain Stopper, FCS)는 10MW급 부유식 해상풍력 발전기에 설치하기 위해 새롭게 개발된 탈착형 계류 시스템이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 메타모델과 입자군집최적화 알고리즘을 이용하여 FCS의 구조설계에 대한 최적설계안을 탐색하 였다. FCS의 구조설계는 선급규정 설계하중조건을 산정하여 유한요소해석을 통해 수치해석적으로 평가하였고, 수치해석모델을 최적설계 에 연계하여 적용하였다. 최적설계의 수렴 효율성을 향상시키기 위해 반응표면모델, 크리깅, 체비쇼프직교다항식, 그리고 신경망과 같은 다양한 메타모델이 사용되었다. 최적설계에서 제한조건은 설계하중조건 별 응력을 고려하였고, 주요 구조부품의 두께 치수를 이산설계변 수와 연속설계변수로 각각 적용하여 목적함수인 최소중량설계를 달성할 수 있는 최적해의 특성을 비교하였다. 최적설계 알고리즘은 이산 설계변수의 최적해 탐색이 가능한 입자군집최적화가 적용되었다. FCS의 구조설계에 대해 신경망 기반의 메타모델이 적용된 경우에 4.72% 이하의 오차율로 최적해의 결정이 가능한 것으로 확인되었다.

        To address the issues of slow magnetization current tracking speed, prolonged magnetization time, and low accuracy during magnetic particle testing of ship castings, forgings, and welded components, this study designed a high-precision rapid current tracking control system. By integrating the predictive characteristics of the Newton interpolation algorithm with the robustness of PID control, a compound control algorithm with a pre-judgment mechanism was developed. An innovative three-phase zero-crossing detection circuit architecture was also implemented, combining high-speed A/D converters and CS5460 chips to optimize current tracking methods, resolving the conflict between initial tracking phase deviation and dynamic process overshoot in conventional approaches. Experimental results demonstrated that this method significantly improves magnetization speed, achieving target current tracking within 0.5 seconds with errors below 2%, meeting the design requirements for non-destructive testing in ship welding applications.

        Stroke is one of the major causes of death worldwide, and in Korea, it has the second highest mortality rate after cancer. Stroke patients require continuous observation and rehabilitation treatment after onset, and in particular, paralysis symptoms are likely to worsen during rehabilitation, emphasizing the need for a real-time monitoring system. Meanwhile, the importance of medical data quality control (QC) algorithms is increasing. In this study, various causes such as failure of sensors such as voltage, current, and temperature of the patient's imaging device diagnostic device, or power loss, may cause malfunctions and transmit inaccurate data. Therefore, in order to secure the reliability of the patient's imaging device diagnostic device data, we plan to design data analysis and algorithms based on QC data of the imaging device diagnostic device. In order to design data analysis and algorithms based on QC data, a system capable of measuring and analyzing sensor data of imaging device diagnostic equipment was built. The reference values of the algorithms to be developed, such as physical limit tests, continuity tests, step tests, median filter tests, and frequency distribution tests, were derived. Voltage, current, and temperature sensor data were statistically analyzed, and in the case of analysis that changes in real time, algorithm S/W was inserted to calculate in real time. It is judged that by monitoring in real time, efficient management and maintenance of the device, and rapid response to device failures will be possible. In the case of device failure, various accidents and high costs can occur. Therefore, if real-time failures are confirmed and rapid maintenance is possible, maintenance costs can be reduced and reliability can be improved, so it is judged that efficient management of the device will be possible.

        Tuned Mass Dampers (TMDs) are widely used to mitigate structural vibrations in buildings and bridges. However, conventional optimization methods often struggle to achieve optimal performance due to the complexity of structural dynamics. This study proposes the NN-L-BFGS-B algorithm, which combines Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) for global exploration and L-BFGS-B for local exploitation to efficiently optimize TMD parameters. A ten-story shear-building model with a TMD is used for validation. The proposed method achieves the lowest H₂ norm compared to previous studies, demonstrating improved optimization performance. Additionally, NN-L-BFGS-B effectively balances computational efficiency and accuracy, making it adaptable to various engineering optimization problems.

        The rapid expansion of bridge and tunnel infrastructure has resulted in a growing incidence of wind-induced traffic accidents occurring at bridge approaches and tunnel portals. These accidents not only inflict direct damage on vehicles but also lead to substantial social and economic losses, stemming from roadway infrastructure repair and maintenance costs, as well as elevated logistics expenses due to traffic delays and congestion. In this study, a theoretical expression for the lateral displacement of vehicles as a function of wind speed was derived. Subsequently, lateral displacement and lateral wind force were analyzed and compared across vehicle types, considering both straight and curved roadway sections. An analysis of prevailing wind directions at each site revealed that, for passenger cars, the maximum lateral force and displacement on straight sections occurred at a wind incidence angle of 45°, whereas on curved sections with a pier curvature of 90°, the critical wind direction ranged from 0° to 120°. These results demonstrate that vehicle stability can be significantly compromised during high-speed travel under crosswind conditions. Based on departure trajectories of vehicles under varying wind speeds, a risk-assessment scale for wind-induced accidents was developed. In addition, design guidelines were proposed for the strategic placement of windbreak barriers to enhance driving safety under strong wind conditions.

        해상에서의 안전한 의사소통은 선박 운항의 핵심 요소로, 국제해사기구(IMO)는 SMCP(Standard Marine Communication Phrases)를 제정하여 선내외 교신에서 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. SMCP를 포함한 해사영어는 효과적이고 정확한 의사소통을 위해 일반 영어와는 다 른 문법적, 어휘적, 구조적 특성을 반영하고 있으며, 간결성과 명확성에 초점이 맞추어져 표준화되어 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 상 용 LLM 모델의 해사영어 활용 능력을 PHP Text Similarity 알고리즘과 BERT 기반 모델을 활용하여 평가하였다. 먼저 ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Meta LLaMA 3 70B Instruct 모델을 대상으로 SMCP 기반 문장 구성, 용어 정의, 빈칸 채우기 문제를 포함한 총 60문항을 활용하여 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 이후 해사고등학교 학생들의 시험 결과와 LLM 모델의 결과를 비교하여, LLM이 실제 해기사 교육 수준과 비교 했을 때 어느 정도의 해사영어 이해 및 문장 구성 능력을 갖추었는지 평가하였다. 대체적으로 LLM 모델들은 높은 정답률을 보였으나, 표 준화된 문구를 정확하게 활용하거나 관용적으로 사용되는 해사영어 표현을 이해하고 적용하는 데 한계점이 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구 는 해기교육기관 및 실무 현장에서 상용 LLM 모델의 해사영어 활용 가능성을 평가하는 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, 향 후 보다 정교한 모델을 대상으로 추가연구가 필요하다.

        In this study, a response model of a beam structure was established through finite element analysis by analyzing the vibration response to external excitation. The vibration control performance of the beam was then evaluated by applying the narrow-band Fx-LMS algorithm for active structural control. The transfer function was obtained at the error sensor location when the structure was excited and the three-axis actuator was operated. The performance of the active control was investigated with 18 channels for error input and actuator output. When the equipment is exciting, the response of the error sensor is the primary path, and when the inertial 3-axis actuator operates, the response of the error sensor position is the secondary path, and the Fx-LMS algorithm is applied. The simulation was performed by changing the control parameters so that the response of the error sensor can satisfy the target performance. From the results of this study, the acceleration results over time showed about 70% vibration reduction after active control, and the average error value of the error sensor also decreased by about 68%. In addition, it was confirmed that real-time control of a system with 18 sensors and 18 actuators is possible even if the secondary path is configured in two orders.

        This paper addresses a scheduling problem aimed at minimizing makespan in a permutation flow shop with two machines and an inspection process that must be conducted at least once every certain number of outcomes from the first machine. A mathematical programming approach and a genetic algorithm, incorporating Johnson's rule and a specific mutation process, were developed to solve this problem. Johnson's rule was used to generate an initial population, while the mutation process ensured compliance with the inspection constraints. The results showed that within a computation time limit of 300 seconds, the mathematical programming approach often failed to provide optimal or feasible solutions, especially for larger job sets. For instance, when the process times of both machines were similar and the inspection time was longer, the mathematical programming approach failed to solve all 10 experiments with just 15 jobs and only had a 50% success rate for 100 jobs. In contrast, the proposed genetic algorithm solved all instances and delivered equal or superior results compared to the mathematical programming approach.

        The demand for automated diagnostic facilities has increased due to the rise in high-risk infectious diseases. However, small and medium-sized centers struggle to implement full automation because of limited resources. An integrated molecular diagnostics automation system addresses this issue by integrating small-scale automated facilities for each diagnostic process. Nonetheless, determining the optimal number of facilities and human resources remains challenging. This study proposes a methodology combining discrete event simulation and a genetic algorithm to optimize job-shop facility layout in the integrated molecular diagnostics automation system. A discrete event simulation model incorporates the number of facilities, processing times, and batch sizes for each step of the molecular diagnostics process. Genetic algorithm operations, such as tournament, crossover, and mutation, are applied to derive the optimal strategy for facility layout. The proposed methodology derives optimal facility layouts for various scenarios, minimizing costs while achieving the target production volume. This methodology can serve as a decision support tool when introducing job-shop production in the integrated molecular diagnostics automation system
