        The quantified analysis of damages to wastewater treatment plants by natural disasters is essential to maintain the stability of wastewater treatment systems. However, studies on the quantified analysis of natural disaster effects on wastewater treatment systems are very rare. In this study, a total disaster index (DI) was developed to quantify the various damages to wastewater treatment systems from natural disasters using two statistical methods (i.e., AHP: analytic hierarchy process and PCA: principal component analysis). Typhoons, heavy rain, and earthquakes are considered as three major natural disasters for the development of the DI. A total of 15 input variables from public open-source data (e.g., statistical yearbook of wastewater treatment system, meteorological data and financial status in local governments) were used for the development of a DI for 199 wastewater treatment plants in Korea. The total DI was calculated from the weighted sum of the disaster indices of the three natural disasters (i.e., TI for typhoon, RI for heavy rain, and EI for earthquake). The three disaster indices of each natural disaster were determined from four components, such as possibility of occurrence and expected damages. The relative weights of the four components to calculate the disaster indices (TI, RI and EI) for each of the three natural disasters were also determined from AHP. PCA was used to determine the relative weights of the input variables to calculate the four components. The relative weights of TI, RI and EI to calculate total DI were determined as 0.547, 0.306, and 0.147 respectively.

        PURPOSES : Water content causes a big problem in terms of the quality and economy of the asphalt plant. However, the current guidelines do not suggest specific rules other than roof installation. Therefore, this study proposes a water content management index, QM, and management flow chart by analyzing the water content variability of the stockpile and cold bin aggregates and suggests a guideline rule for improving water content management, including stockpile floor inclination via analysis of slope stability. METHODS : To analyze the variability of water content in the asphalt plant, stockpile and cold bin aggregate samples were collected from the asphalt plant over two years and a water content lab test was conducted via sieve analysis. In addition, domestic and foreign water content management guidelines were compared and the economic effect was analyzed according to water content DB analysis for the importance of water content management. The influence factors of water content variability were also analyzed. To apply the 3σ quality management technique for the development of the water content management index, QM, a water content management limit and procedure was proposed through the asphalt mix design. RESULTS : As a result of analyzing the water content variability, it was found that the water content of the stockpile fine aggregates should be intensively managed immediately after the rainy season and the QM index developed in this study should be 1 or more. In addition, as a result of the stability analysis according to the change in the stockpile floor inclination, it was found that the safety factor was lowered according to the slope angle and floor inclination. CONCLUSIONS : In the past, a passive method of preventing rainwater with a roof was used for water content management and ambiguous qualitative rules were suggested in the guidelines. In this study, a procedure for managing the water content of asphalt plant aggregates using the QM index, a quantitative stock floor inclination chart, and rules for improving water content management were presented for the quality control of asphalt plant aggregates.

        본 연구를 통해 애완곤충산업에 이용될 수 있는 곤충 종에 대한 평가지표를 개발하였다. 분석 방법으로는 전문가 의견조사인 델파이 (Delphi) 방법을 이용하여 4개의 대분류와 9개의 중분류로 구성된 평가항목을 도출하였다. 또한, 계층분석과정(AHP)을 활용하여 애완곤충 종을 선발하기 위한 평가기준을 마련하였고, 적용 시험을 통해 점수의 체계화를 구축하였다.

        Worldwide plant market keeps maintaining steady growth rate and along with this trend, domestic plant market and its contractors also maintain such growing tendency. However, in spite of its external growth, win-win growth of domestic material industry that occupies the biggest share in plant industry cost portion is extremely marginal in reality. Domestic plant material suppliers are required to increase awareness of domestic material brand by securing quality and reliability of international standard through improvement of design quality superior to that of overseas material suppliers. Improvement of design quality of plant material becomes an essential element, not an option, for survival of domestic plant industry and its suppliers. Under this background, in this study, priority and importance by each evaluation index was analyzed by materializing plant design stage through survey of experts and defining evaluation index by each design stage and based on this analysis result, evaluation index of stage-gate based decision-making process that may improve design quality of plant material was suggested. It is considered that by utilizing evaluation index of stage-gate based decision-making process being suggested in this study, effective and efficient decision-making of project decision-makers would be enabled and it would be contributory to improve design quality of plant material.

        This paper develops a risk index based on an indicator of risk assessment in terms of coastal activity location and accident type. The risk index is derived from a formula which adds the consequence of failure to a vulnerability value, then subtracts the mitigation value. Specifically, the consequence of failure is the number of casualties in coastal activity locations. An indicator of vulnerability refers to coastal environment elements and social elements. A pointer of mitigation includes managerial and organizational elements that indicate the capabilities of coastal activities. A risk rating of coastal activity location is found from a risk matrix consisting of the accident location and type. The purpose of this study is to prevent accidents at coastal activity locations by allowing the Coastal police guard to monitor effectively and inform visitors of potential risks.

        The change of fishing power index was analyzed to identify the development of the vessel and gear technology that may improve the fishing efficiency of the offshore conger eel pot fishery from 1980s to 2015. Gross tonnage per fishing vessel was rapidly increased annually. The standard of pot was maintained, but the number of pot used rapidly increased by using conger eel pot hauling devices, carrying and loading devices, main line hauler, casting devices and slide type pot. Fish finder system to identify fishing ground information and the conger eel pot hauling devices were modernized, and supply rate was also increased. Therefore, the relative fishing power index in the offshore conger eel pot fishery increased from 1.0 in 1980 to 1.3 in 1990, to 1.8 in 2000 and to 2.0 in 2015. The results are expected to contribute to reasonable fisheries stock management of the offshore conger eel pot fishery.

One of the reasons is technological development, which increases the efficiency of the vessels continuously. The analysis was conducted to identify the change of fishing power index to develop the vessel and gear technology that may have improved the fishing efficiency of the otter trawl fishery from 1960s to 2010s. Gross tonnage was decreased stably, but horse power was increased annually. The perimeter of net mouth was somewhat longer, but little changed. Color fish finder was utilized from the mid-1960s. Hydraulic net drum were introduced in the early 1990s, and supply rate was gradually increased. Surveys on the supply and upgrading of fishing equipment utilized visiting research. Therefore, the relative fishing power index in the trawl fishery increased about two to three times in the 2010s compared to the 1980s. The results are expected to contribute to reasonable fisheries stock management.

Surveys on the supply and upgrading of fishing equipment utilized visiting researchers. Therefore, the relative fishing power index in the Danish seine fishery increased stably from 1.0 in 1970 to 1.0 in 1980, to 1.2 in 1990, to 1.3 in 2000 and to 1.3 in 2010. The results are expected to contribute to reasonable fisheries stock management.

        The small yellow croaker (Larimichthys polyactis) is one of the representative high-class fish species in Korea. The catch of small yellow croaker in adjacent water fisheries has been continuously decreasing from 59,226 tons in 2011 to 19,271 tons in 2016. The small yellow croaker is caught by gillnet, stow net and bottom trawl, among which about 55~65% is caught by gillnet. For the sustainable use of small yellow croaker, the fishing power of small yellow croaker drift gillnet is very important. Therefore, the change of fishing power index were analyzed to identify the development of the vessel and gear technology that may have improved the fishing efficiency of the small yellow croaker drift gillnet fishery from 1960s to 2010s. Gross tonnage and horse power per fishing vessel was increased annually. The mesh size was 75.0 mm in the 1960s, but reduced to 60.6 mm in the 1980s and to 51.0 mm in the 2000s. In the 1960s, it was hauled out by manpower. However, the net hauler were modernized and supply rate was also increased since 1970. Due to the mechanization of the net hauler, the number (length) of used net gradually increased from 1.5 km in the 1960s to 7.5 km in the mid-1980s and to 15 km in 2010. Colour fish finders and positioning system were introduced and utilized from the mid-1980s. Surveys on the supply and upgrading of fishing equipment utilized visiting research. Therefore, the relative fishing power index in the small yellow croaker drift gillnet fishery increased from 1.0 in 1980 to 0.8 in 1970, to 1.1 in 1990, to 1.6 in 2000 and to 1.9 in 2010. The results are expected to contribute to reasonable fisheries stock management of the small yellow croaker drift gillnet fishery.

        본 연구는 우리나라 때죽나무의 생장예측함수를 통해 지위지수 모델을 개발하고자 한다. 4가지 생장 모델을 추정 후 적합도가 가장 높은 모델을 선택하여 지위지수 분류곡선을 유도하였다. 적합도 검정은 적합도 지수와 편차, 평균제곱근오차를 이용하였다. 분석결과 Chapman-Richards 모델의 적합도지수 가 0.49248로 가장 높았고, 평균제곱근오차는 가장 낮은 값을 보여 적합한 모델로 선택되었다. 유도곡 선법으로 지위지수 분류곡선을 유도하였고, 지위지수의 범위는 6~14까지로 분석되었다. 본 연구를 통 해 자료가 부족한 때죽나무에 대한 생장정보 제공 및 미래생장 예측과 경영계획 수립을 위한 정보제공 이 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

        It is known that the growth and development of the mosquito are greatly affected by the change of the meteorological factors. In particular, temperature and precipitation are closely related to the life cycle of the mosquito, and their effects have different characteristics for each species of mosquito. Therefore, to develop a mosquito activity index based on mosquito density, it is essential to develop a prediction model based on weather data. In this study, we developed a functional formula that can estimate the change of mosquito density according to the change of meteorological factors using the mosquito classification data of Incheon region collected from 2011 to 2017. Also, using the data of the digital mosquito monitoring system (DMS) from April to October 2018, mosquito activity index according to characteristics of space in city was developed. In order to reflect the temporal characteristics of the mosquito life-cycle, we used data of temperature and precipitation prior to 1-2 weeks, and used land cover data to reflect the spatial characteristics of mosquito density. Density of Culex pipiens collected in the Incheon area were gradually increased when the average temperature increased two weeks ago after adjusting the precipitation. However, when the average temperature reached 22°C, the density of Culex pipiens marked a peak, and above the 22°C, the density was decreased. The predicted mosquito activity index calculated by applying the machine learning method to the DMS data of the Incheon area is designed to calculate from 1 to 10 grades. The accuracy of the mosquito activity index was 87% when the one grade error was allowed.

For the competitiveness, it’s the most important to analyze demands of current and potential customers and their pursuing value properly. Therefore, this researcher grasped PSL for online logistics service users with 5-point Likert-scale and quality-level decision method that consider the weighted value based on Kano model, measured customer’s potential Demand for service through PCDI, and suggested methodology for deciding the priority of the improvement with loss function of Taguchi.
