        The Spectro-Photometer for the History of the Universe, Epoch of Reionization and Ices Explorer (SPHEREx) will provide all-sky spectral survey data covering optical to mid-infrared wavelengths with a spatial resolution of 6.′′2, which can be widely used to study galaxy formation and evolution. We investigate the galaxy-galaxy blending in SPHEREx datasets using the mock galaxy catalogs generated from cosmological simulations and observational data. Only ∼0.7% of the galaxies will be blended with other galaxies in all-sky survey data with a limiting magnitude of 19 AB mag. However, the fraction of blended galaxies dramatically increases to ∼7–9% in the deep survey area around the ecliptic poles, where the depth reaches ∼22 AB mag. We examine the impact of the blending in the number count and luminosity function analyses using the SPHEREx data. We find that the number count can be overestimated by up to 10–20% in the deep regions due to the flux boosting, suggesting that the impact of galaxy-galaxy blending on the number count is moderate. However, galaxy-galaxy blending can marginally change the luminosity function by up to 50% over a wide range of redshifts. As we only employ the magnitude limit at Ks-band for the source detection, the blending fractions determined in this study should be regarded as lower limits.

        본 연구는 급변하는 남북관계에 대응하여, 비정치적・비군사적 영역인 자연환경 분야의 남・북 협력 강화를 통해 한반도 생태공동체 구축 및 지속가능발전 기반 마련을 도모하기 위한 것으로, 자연환경 분야 대북 지원 사업 및 국제협력 사례 분석, 국제협력을 다루고 있는 북한의 국가계획 및 국제사회에 북한이 제안한 협력 사업을 분석하여 잠재 협력 사업을 도출하고자 하였다. 기존 사례고찰 및 1차 전문가 설문조사(5명)를 통해 “잠재 협력사업” 15건과 “사업 선정 시 주요 고려인자” 6개(①추진 시급성, ②한반도 연계성(한반도 생태공동체), ③지속가능발전(번영) 기여, ④북한의 수용성, ⑤추진 기반(협력 여건, 예산) 구비, ⑥사업의 지속가능성)를 도출하고, 이를 토대로 2차 전문가 설문조사(14명)를 통해 우선 사업을 도출하였다. 자연환경 분야 15건의 잠재 남북 협력 사업에 대한 종합적인 검토를 위하여 6개 주요 고려 인자를 적용하여 통합・평균한 결과, 사업 추진 우선순위는 ①설악-금강 국제평화공원 지정 추진, ②임농복합경영(agro-forestry) 지원・협력, ③국제적 중요 이동성조류(저어새, 두루미 등) 공동 보전사업, ④남북 생태관광 연계・활성화, ⑤한반도 대표 생태계 및 생물다양성 통합정보 구축 등의 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 제시한 우선 협력 사업들은 기존 협력사례와 협력여건을 고려한 자연환경 분야 남북협력 전문가들의 인식에 근거하여 도출한 결과이며, 향후 실질적 추진은 사업별 성격에 따라 남・북한 간 추진 공감대 형성, 적합한 파트너와 협력체계 구축 등을 포함한 체계적인 접근이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

        목적 : 본 연구에서는 40세 이상 한국 성인에서 나이관련황반변성에 따른 심혈관계질환의 위험요인을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 : 국민건강영양조사 제7기 2017년 조사대상자의 건강설문조사와 안과 검진을 받은 40세 이상을 대상으로 나이관련황반변성과 관련 있는 심혈관계질환 및 성별과 나이, 체질량지수, 사회학적 요인인 월평균 가구소득, 교육, 현재흡연율, 월간음주율을 보정하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 수행하였으며 유의수준은 0.050 미만으로 하였다. 결과 : 40세 이상 나이관련황반변성 유병률은 남자 7.23%, 여자 7.94%였다. 나이관련황반변성에 대해서 나이 (OR=1.050, p<0.001), 성별(OR=0.693, p=0.024), 뇌졸중(OR=0.353, p=0.004), 심근경색(OR=2.033, p=0.032) 은 유의하였다. BMI(OR=1.008, p=0.626), 가구소득(OR=1.000, p=0.296), 교육수준(OR=0.927, p=0.181), 흡 연율(OR=0.873, p=0.397), 음주율(OR=0.922, p=0.489), 고혈압(OR=0.981, p=0.872), 협심증은(OR=0.732, p=0.357) 유의하지 않았다. 결론 : 나이관련황반변성과 심혈관계질환과의 관계에서 사회학적인 요인을 보정한 후 통계적으로 유의한 관련 성은 나이와 성별, 뇌졸중, 심근경색이 있었다.

        Wild dampalsu tree, Elaeocarpus sylvestris is evergreen tree and one of the dominant street trees in Jeju island. Recently, wilting of the wild dampalsu trees by phytoplasma was widely reported but vector of phytoplasma was not found yet. This survey was conducted to find potential vector of the phytoplasma to wild dampalsu tree and we focused on homoptera pests because many phytoplasmas were vectored by homoptera pests. Two sites in Seogwipo, Jeju were selected and then ten trees in each site were selected. The trees were selected by 20 m interval. A rectangular sticky trap was attached to the branch of the tree by a binding string. The traps were changed by a week and the homoptera pests on the traps were counted in the laboratory. Four homoptera pests belonged to Cicadellidae and Psyllidae were found and only two species belonged to Cicadellidae were identified: Batracomorphus mundus and Idiocerus sp. Batracomorphus mundus was the dominant species and it was caught from late May with bimodal peaks. The density was reached up to 87.5 individual/trap. Idiocerus sp. was the second dominant species and it was caught from mid-June with one peak. The density was reached up to 6.6 individual/trap. The two species are examined whether they carry phytoplasma.

        During the last few decades, we have faced problems caused by some invasive forest pests such as the black locust gall midge, spotted lanternfly, citrus flatid planthopper, pine wood nematode, etc. As for the pine wood nematode, it is originated from the US and found two insect vectors which previously were not considered as insect pests at all in Korea. Now those two Monochamus cerambycids are nothing but insect pests to be controlled in order to slow down the spread of the pine wood nematode. Here we introduce the results of the surveys seeking out parasitoids which can be used for biological controls against those pests. In addition we also make a suggestion to keep our efforts to utilize those beneficial insects as eco-friendly control measures, not simply depending on physical or chemical methods.

        This study was conducted to investigate the breeding status of farms to improve the production efficiency of Hanwoo calf. The study was conducted on 45 farms divided into two groups. This study was conducted to investigate the breeding size and breeding area of Hanwoo cows. The average age at first delivery of Hanwoo was 28.7 months. The number of artificial insemination per pregnancy was 1.45±0.32, and the number of artificial insemination days after birth was 119.8 days. Conception rates were 75.2±16.93% for small farms and 70.6±17.46% for medium sized farms and 71.4±11.03% for large farms. When we looked at farming methods, ‘the farmers using estrus observation aids’ had 10.42% higher calf production rate than the ‘unused farmers’. The farms vaccinated with IBR and BVDV for breeding cattle showed a 4.41% decrease in abortion, stillbirth and mortality. According to farming conditions, conception rate and delivery rate improved by 3.47% and 18.29%, respectively, when grazing and exercising were performed. Observation, immunization and grazing were found to be important indicators for improving calf production efficiency in Hanwoo farm. This study can be used as a research data to improve the reproductive rate of farmhouse sites through the survey on the breeding status of Hanwoo farmers.
