This article takes the four handed down Chu Gong Jia bells and the Chu Gong Jia bell unearthed in Zhouyuan as the research objects, and combines the existing research results to conduct a comparative study of the two from the perspective of inscription glyphs, word relationships, style, and decorative patterns. It is pointed out that the inscriptions, style, and word relationships of Chu Gong Jia bells in the late western Zhou dynasty all show the regional characteristics of the Chu characters. The inscriptions, style, and relationship between words of the Chu Gong Jia bell unearthed in the Zhou dynasty also reflect the regional characteristics of the western Zhou dynasty. This article also conducts a comparative study of the bird patterns on the bells of the western Zhou dynasty, and points out that the bird patterns on the Chu Gong Jia bell unearthed in Zhouyuan are not common in the southern region during the western Zhou dynasty, but are more closely related to the Baoji Phoenix bird pattern with a fleshy crown common in the Baoji region during the western Zhou dynasty. Its stiff demeanor and forked upturned tail may be due to improper imitation of southern bird patterns. The regional characteristics and bird pattern on the right drum of the Chu Gong Jia bell inscription unearthed in Zhouyuan indicate that its origin or locality is in Zhouyuan. The research in this article has a promoting effect on the understanding of the regional characteristics of bronze inscriptions in the western Zhou dynasty, and is beneficial for us to further understand the early Chu characters and Chu culture. The conclusions of this study can provide some reference for the formation and development of the character system in the Zhou dynasty and the study of the casting and circulation patterns of bronze.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of root zone temperatures (RZT) on the germination of bell peppers and tomatoes. Bell peppers and tomatoes had the highest germination rates (85% and 90%, respectively) at 25oC air temperature. Besides, the first germination of bell peppers was shifted by one day ahead. Bell peppers had the highest germination rate of 72,100, and 100%, respectively, when the RZT was adjusted to 30oC at airtemperature of 20, 25, and 30oC, and when the air temperature was adjusted to 35oC, the germination rate was the highest (70%) when the RZT was 15oC. Tomatoes had the highest germination rate at 20oC of the RZT at all atmospheric temperatures. A local cooling and heating system was established to improve the germination rate by controlling the RZT during the low and high temperature period. The optimum RZT for seedlings during the low and high temperature period was investigated.

This study evaluated the microbiological quality of fresh-cut bell pepper and ginger, as well as the inactivation effects of intense pulsed light (IPL) on E. coli ATCC 25922 inoculated in the fresh-cut samples by varying the treatment voltages (1,200-2,400 V) and time (1–7 min). The contamination levels of mesophilic bacteria, psychrophilic bacteria, yeast and mold for bell pepper and ginger were 6.64±0.81 and 6.35±1.96 log CFU/g, 6.75±1.13 and 5.63±1.89 log CFU/g, and 4.68±0.43 and 4.57±1.25 log CFU/g respectively. Through the IPL treatment at 2,400 V for 7 min, 2.04 and 2.11 log of E. coli ATCC 25922 inoculated in bell pepper and ginger were reduced, respectively, with a negligible temperature rise (< 2.2oC). Although the reduction rate varied, the bactericidal effect of E. coli ATCC 25922 showed an increase as treatment time and voltage increased. Under the same treatment conditions, temperature increased by 1.71oC and 2.13oC for bell pepper and ginger, respectively. These results demonstrate that IPL is a suitable device for inactivating E. coli ATCC 25922 on fresh-cut bell pepper and ginger.

계몽주의 이후 영국에서 종교적 영성은 흥미로운 변화를 맞게 되었다. 사람 들은 전통적인 그리스도교의 인격신을 비판하기 시작하였다. 그리고 그것을 대 신할 수 있는 다른 것을 찾기 시작하였다. 아이리스 머독은 그러한 변화에 기여를 한 사상가들 중의 한 명이다. 머독은 전통적인 신개념대신에 플라톤의 선함 의 개념을 강조하였다. 즉 전통적인 그리스도교 영성은 절대적인 신의 타자성을 중심으로 이해되었지만, 머독은 영성에서 중요한 면은 자기 자신에 대한 지식이 라고 『종』이라는 소설에서 보여주고 있다. 본 논문은 아리리스 머독의 『종』이 영성에서 중심축을 신의 타자성에서 자아에 대한 지식으로 변화시켰다는 것을 보여준다. 첫째, 공동체와, 성, 그리고 사랑과 관련하여 이 소설이 환상에 대항 하여 현실을 인식하는 과정에서 어떤 영성적인 가치와 통찰들을 보여주는지 논 의한다. 둘째, 계몽주의 이후 다양한 형태로 변화를 겪어오고 있는 자아와 신의 관계에서 현대인들에게 인식의 중요성이 무엇인지 고찰한다.

본 연구에서는 피망의 동결 전 가열처리 조건을 선정하 기 위해 열수침지, 과열증기 및 볶음 처리 조건에 따른 품 질 특성 변화를 조사하였다. 피망의 외관, 색도, 경도, 미세 구조 관찰 등의 결과로 각 방법별 두 가지 조건을 선정 후 영양학적 품질 조사를 실시하였다. 가열처리 후 피망의 ΔE 값은 처리 시간에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였고, 특히 볶음 처리시 감소폭이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 열수침지 및 과열증기 처리에 따른 pH 변화는 적었지만, 볶음 처리 후 감소하였다. 경도는 가열처리 후 대체적으로 감소하는 경 향을 보였고, 열수침지 및 볶음 처리 시간이 길수록 경도 는 급격히 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 피망의 일반성분, 비타 민 C, 유리당 및 유기산 함량은 가열처리 방법 및 처리 시간에 따라 유의적인 영향을 받았다. 비타민 C 함량은 열 수침지>과열증기>볶음 처리 순으로, 처리 시간이 길수록 감소량이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 피망의 수용성 성분인 유리 당 및 유기산 함량은 볶음 처리에 비해 열수침지 및 과열 증기 처리시 감소량이 많았다. Peroxidase 활성은 짧은 시 간의 열수침지(2분) 및 과열증기(3분) 처리에도 약 90% 이 상의 불활성화율을 나타냈지만, 볶음 처리시에는 peroxidase 활성 억제 효과가 20% 이하로 낮았다. 이상의 결과로부터 피망의 가열처리 조건은 색도, 경도, 비타민 C, 유리당 등 변화는 적고 peroxidase 억제 효과가 높은 증기처리법으로 3분간 처리하는 것이 적합할 것으로 판단된다.

A three-dimensional linear model and the Advanced Regional Prediction System (ARPS) were used to simulate parabola-shaped disturbances and clouds in the lee of a bell-shaped mountain. The ARPS model was compared in the x-y plane against the linear model's analytic solution. Under similar conditions with the linear theory, the ARPS produced well-developed parabola-shaped mountain disturbances and confirmed the features are accounted for in the linear regime. A parabola-shaped cloud in the lee of an isolated bell-shaped mountain was successfully simulated in the ARPS after 6 hours of integration time with the prescribed initial and boundary conditions, as well as a microphysical scheme.
