We conducted a local survey targeting 300 Filipino consumers and analyzed them through multi-regression to help with the sales strategy of Korean agricultural products in the Philippine market. First, the Korean Wave image and K-food image were statistically significantly related to the intention to purchase Korean agricultural products. A significant positive (+) effect was found, and when Korean Wave stars were used as variables, the intention to purchase Korean agricultural products was strengthened. Therefore, the results of this study are believed to provide practical implications.
본 연구에서는 2D 조파수조를 통해 수행된 모형시험결과를 기반으로 원형실린더에 분포하는 파랑충격압력을 시간에 따라 계측하고 이를 CFD해석 결과와 비교하였다. 전산유체역학 해석을 통해 파랑충격력에 직접평가법에 관한 효용성을 확인할 수 있었고, 실험으로부터 구한 파랑충격 시계열 데이터를 그대로 원형단면을 갖는 실제 해양구조물의 부재에 적용하였다. 실린더에 분포하는 변위 및 응력의 특성과 특이점이 바뀌는 것을 확인하였고 실제 시계열을 적용하는 것이 해양구조물의 강도평가를 보다 정확하게 평가할 수 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 선수부에 요구되는 외판의 최소선급규정에 따른 두께 경험식들을 분석하여 적용하고자 하였다. 동일한 재료 물성치를 갖는 강재에 관해 선수외판에 요구되는 구조물의 최소두께와 원형단면 부재에 요구되는 최소두께를 비교·분석하였고 이를 통해 NORSOK standard에 제시되어 있는 구조물의 손상기준을 활용하여 허용 두께치를 추정하고자 하였다. 특히 해양구조물의 갑판충격력(wave in deck)의 경우 이와 관련된 경험식이나 최소두께 요구사항들이 정립되어 있지 않기 때문에 본 연구를 통해 파랑충격력에 따라 요구되는 판재의 최소두께를 제안하고자 하였다.
This research investigated the relationship among Korean Wave Cultural Contents consumption of Korean food, Korean products, and Learning of the Korean language. The survey targeted non-Koreans who were either interested in or experienced Korean Wave Cultural Contents. Exactly 61.3% of subjects had traveled to Korea. The most common method of experiencing the Korean Wave was via the Internet (57.7%), followed by TV (21.1%) and Mobile (7.7%). The most popular Korean Wave Contents were K-pop (35.2%) and TV Dramas (31.0%). Movies were preferred in the Americas (3.63±0.83) and Asia (3.63±1.09), whereas K-pop was preferred in Asia (3.68±1.12) and games preferred in Europe (2.50±1.56). Regarding Korean food, most participants had tasted Kimchi (81.7%), followed by Bulgogi (74.6%), Bibimbap (66.9%), and Galbi (66.2%). According to the country-by-country survey, in the case of Galbi (p<0.05), Bibimbap (p<0.05), and Bulgogi (p<0.05), Asians had more experiences with Korean food compared to those from other regions. Meanwhile, in the case of satisfaction of Korean food, Bulgogi (4.22±1.05) was ranked highest, whereas Kimchi (3.85±1.15) was ranked lowest. According to the region-by-region survey, those from Oceania and other regions preferred Kimchi (4.25±0.71) and Bulgogi (4.50±4.50) while the Americas preferred Galbi (4.82±0.39) and Bibimbap (4.54±0.81). Bulgogi (2.76±0.06) was highly ranked as a representative Korean Food while Kimchi (2.44±0.71) was ranked the lowest. This research explained that among Korean Wave Cultural Contents, movies and music positively influenced on the ‘Image of Korea’, movies and K-pop effected ‘Purchasing intention of Korean products’, and TV Dramas, movies, and K-pop effected ‘Purchasing intention of Korean Food’.
PURPOSES: This study is to evaluate the dynamic modulus changes of permeable asphalt mixtures by using non-destructive impact testing method and to compare the dynamic moduli of permeable asphalt mixtures through repeated freezing and thawing conditions. METHODS: For the study, non-destructive impact testing method is used in order to obtain dynamic modulus of asphalt specimen and to confirm the change of dynamic modulus before and after freezing and thawing conditions. RESULTS : This study has shown that the dynamic moduli of asphalt concrete specimens consisting of 10%, 15% and 20% porosity are reduced by 11.851%, 1.9564%, 24.593% after freezing and thawing cycles. CONCLUSIONS : Non-destructive impact testing method is very useful and has repeatability. Specimen with 15% porosity has high durability than others.
PURPOSES : This study is to evaluate moisture susceptibility of asphalt mixtures by using non-destructive impact wave and to determine durability so as to decrease the gap between before and after freezing in the future. METHODS : Using non-destructive impact wave, this study is to determine the dynamic modulus of asphalt specimen. Furthermore, the results obtained from two experiment accelerometers are used for the dynamic modulus determination. The dynamic moduli of specimens are compared with those of the freezing-thawing specimens. RESULTS : Test results showed that the dynamic modulus before freezing and thawing environment loads at each temperature dropped about 3.7% after the environmental loads. Furthermore, correlation analysis indicates that transition of dynamic modulus at each point is about 89.59%. CONCLUSIONS: Evaluation of asphalt mixtures using non-destructive impact wave has excellent repeatability and simple equipment for the test. Consequently, the method in the study will be useful for evaluating the characteristics of a various asphalt mixtures.
Korean Wave is a very popular cultural phenomenon in China in the 21st century. Under the background of modern society, it exports various Korean cultural products to China through mass communication, and develops rapidly in China through Korean movies, pop music, variety show, food clothing and other forms. The input of these cultural products not only affects the Chinese public, but also profoundly affects contemporary Chinese college students. They have positive effects such as changing their way of life, improving their international perspective, and promoting personality shaping, but also have negative effects such as the worship of money in consumption concepts, the popularity of value orientations, and the shaking of cultural confidence. College students are the backbone of national construction. In the face of the coming Korean Wave culture, the family, school and society should correctly guide contemporary college students to treat rationally. While absorbing essence, they should adhere to cultural self-confidence and establish correct personal values.
This study suggests a general process of analyzing the mooring and cargo handling limit waves, which is an incident to the new energy port under long wave agitation. To reduce damages of ships and harbor structures due to strong wave responses, it is necessary to predict the change of wave field in the mooring berth to make the proper decision by dock master. The berthing area at a new LNG port in the east coast of Korea in this study is frequently affected by oscillations from waves of 8.5~13s periods in the wintertime. The long period waves give difficulties on port operation by lowering the annual berthing ratio. It needs to find the event waves from the real time offshore wave records, which cause over the mooring limits. For that purpose, the wave records from field measurement and offshore wave buoy were analyzed. From numerical simulation, the response characteristics of long period waves in the berthing area were deduced with or without breakwater expansion plan, analyzing the offshore field wave data collected for two years. Some event wave cases caused over the cargo handling and mooring limits as per the standard Korean port design guideline, and those were used for the decision of port operation by dock master, comparing with the real time offshore wave observations.
In this study, impact elastic-wave method was performed at the bottom surface of RC slab cut from an existing highway bridges to survey the horizontal cracks. Before measurements by impact elastic-wave method, impact response analysis was applied to determine optimal steel ball diameter, distance between impact point and receiving point of elastic-wave. Efficiency of analysis-aided impact elastic-wave method was confirmed by drilling and observing the interior of the RC slab by stick scanner. Evaluation results by this method agreed well with results of visual inspection. Thus, validity of the analysis-aided impact elastic-wave method on detection of horizontal cracks in RC slabs of highway bridges was demonstrated.
Concrete floating structures will experience the surface erosions by wave and floaters’ impacts. However, because there exists no standard test method in Korean Industrial standards (KS) related to this issue, proper evaluations have not been able to be performed.
