This study investigates the mechanical behavior at the compression of bonded aluminum foam. Four kinds of specimen thicknesses are 25, 50, 75 and 100mm. These aluminum foams are compressed with the speed of 5mm/min. The reaction forces in cases of 25, 50, 75 and 100mm are 2510, 5080, 7700 and 10400N respectively. The equivalent stresses are 0.96, 1.00, 1.02 and 1.03MPa respectively. These analysis results are verified by comparing with the experimental results. The results of this study can be contributed to the safe design of structure.

In the present study, numerical analysis algorithm for the hull form optimization was taken into account using optimization algorithm. In this algorithm the sequential quadratic programming method was applied as an optimizer and the potential-based panel method was adopted to get the wave resistance coefficient as the objective function. The hull form was modified using the B-spline surface modeling technique during the whole optimization process. The developed numerical analysis algorithm was applied to a passenger ship and the optimized ship were compared with the original ship.

The grid pattern electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding sheet for the wireless charger has been designed using grid pattern metal sheet, PET & DST stacking and laminating technology. Also, an automatic manufacturing system of the grid pattern EMI shielding sheet for the wireless charger is developed. This metal sheet with grid pattern is an effective shield against EMI that can not shield completely by existing single metal sheet. And the developed automatic manufacturing system having a laminated productivity exceeds the 8m/min can stack and lamination thin metal sheets without any wrinkles.

CFRP has the high strength and low weight. But it tends to be frail if it is applied with the mechanical bonding method using weld, rivet or bolt. So, the chemical bonding method using the special adhesive has been utilized. By applying the bonding method with the adhesive, this paper investigates the mechanical property of DCB specimen bonded with the type of mode 2 through the simulation analysis. Four kinds of specimen thicknesses are 25mm, 35mm, 45mm and 55mm in this study. The mechanical behaviors of specimens due to the forced displacements are investigated as the distributions of equivalent stresses. The reaction force becomes higher as the specimen thickness is increased. The result of this study about the fracture property of adhesive joint is thought to be contributed to the safe design of structure with CFRP.

Graphene could be damaged and contain impurities on its surface while several fabrications such as deposition, etching, and patterning because one needs photoresist masking operation to divide the section for deposition or not. In this paper, we investigated the effectiveness of selective atomic layer deposition for clean graphene surface. Atomic layer deposition (ALD) has strong point at very uniform conformity of 1 rms roughness. In this process, H2O is generally used by one of precursors. This H2O precursor make deposition of ALD on hydrophilic surface not hydrophobic. Therefore, we used this property at graphene which has hydrophobic surface. And then, we analyzed selective deposition of ALD on graphene which are grown on Cu foil and transferred by wet process not cleaved from HOPG.

In this study, the horizontal automatic scum remover with buoyant type is developed to reduce the cost of facility and is suitable for unit-process automation. This system is consist of the scum collecting box, leveling device for scum collecting box, drive device for scum collecting box, water level sensor and indicator, departure prevention device of scum collecting box, setting monitor, main control panel, etc. Performance tests for the system such as the accuracy of the scum thickness measurement, horizontal degree of the scum collecting box, scum removal time, accuracy of an unmanned control have been performed. The performance of the prototype system satisfies all the objects of this study.
