        This study presents investigation study on the structural health monitoring system for the over-pass bridge connected to the passanger terminal of Inchoen International Airport. The bridge structure designed very conseratively was found to be structurally safe and well-operating based on the measured records over the last 10 years. However, the structural health monitoring system is recommended to be investigated again in a regular basis of every 2~3 years to ensure reliability of measurements.

        This paper presents a subspace system identification algorithm for time-invariant structural system. System matrices are estimated from input-output data. The main computational tools are the LQ and the singular value decomposition in subspace system identification. The accuracy and stability of estimated system matrices are influenced by the parameters of Hankel matrix. For stable SI, the optimal parameters of Hankel matrix are determined by considering the computational cost and the accuracy of system matrix.

        This study mainly focuses on presenting a rational procedure of assessing target reliability level of nuclear containment. The target reliability level can be obtained by considering LCC(Life Cycle Cost) of damage and operation. The LCC evaluation results in the different environmental situations. It is verified that this deviation of LCC can be adjusted by selecting the proper initial target reliability. In addition, slight increase of initial target reliability for the nuclear containment aiming a longer service life, therefore, the total expected loss during the extended service years can be maintained in the same level as the total loss expected in the 20-year service life for the existing containment structures.

        이 논문에서는 대표적 수치해석에의 균열처리 방법으로 손상모델 기반의 분산균열모델을 체택하여 구조내력을 산정하였다. 또한 전력구 구조물의 실구조 모델링을 위해 3차원 해석방법을 택하였으며 3차원 콘크리트 구성모델로는 현재 3차원 모델중 콘크리트의 다축압축, 인장균열을 효과적으로 모사하는 미소면 모델(Microplane model)을 재료모델로 사용하여 비선형 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. SFRC의 인장연화곡선을 얻기 위해 역해석법을 사용하였으며, 역해석으로 구한 인장연화곡선이 실험결과와 아주 잘 일치함을 보였다. 하중-균열폭 관계를 입력값으로 사용한 역해석 결과와 하중-CMOD 관계를 사용한 역해석 결과는 서로 잘 일치하는 경향을 나타냈다. 이 논문에서는 실험으로부터 측정된 균열폭 데이터와 수치해석시의 손상지수와의 관계를 도출하여으며, 이와 같은 결과는 향후 균열탐사를 통한 구조물의 잔존 구조내력 산정에 적용할 수 있으리라 판단된다.

        최근 기상변화에 의한 집중호우는 하천의 통수능력을 초과하는 홍수를 발생시키고 있다. 하천의 폭이 제한된 상태에서 이러한 초과 홍수에 대비할 수 있는 관리방법은 제방증고, 저류지 및 방수로 건설, 하상 준설 등을 생각할 수 있다. 천변저류지인 화순홍수조절지는 저류지와 수위조절을 위한 제수문이 설계되어 있다. 본 연구는 저류지 운영시간동안 일정 홍수량만을 배제해야 할 상황에 대해 설계의 적정성을 수리모형실험을 통해 검토하였다. 검토결과 저류지 유입부의 횡월류위어 월류량은 설계상의 월류량을 초과하였고, 제수문 1.1 m 개방시 설계유량(326 m3/s)을 방류할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 설계유량 방류시 제수문 직하류에 7.19 m/s의 고유속은 baffle block을 설치할 경우 3.3 m/s까지 저감시킬 수 있는 것으로 검토되었다.

        해상송전철탑 구조물에 있어서 구조 및 재료 손상에 대해 주기적으로 안전점검을 실시하고, 그 결과를 이용한 수명관리(life management)의 시행은 적극 추천되는 일이다. 본 연구에서는 영흥도 시화호 내에 있는 총 6개의 해상송전철탑에 대해서 강재부재에 대해 3가지, 콘크리트 기초에 대해 5가지, 해수 중 강관파일 및 해수 자체에 대해 4가지 형태의 열화점검을 각각 수행하였다. 강재에 대한 점검 항목들은 외관조사, 부재두께, 도막상태 등에 대한 것이고, 콘크리트 기초에 있어서는 균열형상, 압축강도, 중성화깊이, 염화물 함유량 등에 대한 항목, 그리고 해중 강관파일에 있어서의 전위 및 양극조사에 따른 부식정도, 동영상 촬영 및 해수의 수질환경성 평가 등에 대한 항목이다. 이와 같은 정기적 열화점검은 연속 3년 동안 매년 10월경에 동일위치에 대해 평가하였다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서는 이러한 자료를 체계적으로 활용함으로써 해상송전철탑 안전성 유지관리에 유익하게 적용될 수 있는 새로운 열화지표를 개발하였다.

        본 연구는 RTK-GPS (Real Time Kinematic-Global Positioning System) 측위법을 이용한 변위 계측 결과, 가속도계를 이용한 변위계측 결과, 그리고 LVDT(Linear variable differential transformer)의 변위계측 결과를 비교하여 RTK-GPS와 가속도계 센서를 구조물에 적용할 때의 문제점들을 파악하였다. 또한, 관측빈도와 측위 정확도를 향상시킨 RTK-GPS와 가속도계를 이용한 변위계측 결과를 통합 계산하여 절대변위인 LVDT와 비교를 통해 생성된 통합 변위의 정확도와 타당성을 확인하였다.

        In this study, three kinds of nondestructive evaluation (NDE) techniques for the effective maintenance of underwater concrete structures are investigated: schmidt hammer-based NDE, indirect ultrasonic waves-base NDE and impact echo method using noncontact air-coupled sensing system. Currently, lots of limitations to implement these techniques to real-world structures are being considered.

        According to the analysis results of the maintenance monitoring which are located on the 5, 6th subway line, they are analyzed that the stress of concrete lining and reinforced bar are converged gradually after 45 months. Therefore Monitoring of measurement and analysis frequency is conduct more often within about 4 years after the measuring instrument installation. Four years later, slowing the frequency of measurement is considered reasonable.

        Damages due to typhoon and floods are increasing as a result of global warming and abnormal climate phenomenon over the world. Flood and scour is one of the major causes for bridge collapse. However, maintenance and inspection techniques still need improvements especially for underwater structures like bridge piers in rivers. Conventionally, manual inspection by divers has been carried out for underwater structures of bridges. This has difficulties in gathering accurate and reliable field data under severe environmental conditions. Therefore, in this study, underwater inspection of bridges has been carried out using the side scan sonar (SSS), one of unmanned underwater inspection equipment. Compared to the conventional manual inspection, it has been found that the SSS can be efficiently utilized to underwater inspection of bridges especially with bad visibility or large-scale inspection area.

        This study presents the comparison or distribution of the dynamic responses with or without soil-structure interaction. As a result, the maximum dynamic displacements and member forces of the suspension bridge with the soil-structure interaction (SSI) are larger than those without SSI. Therefore, the SSI analysis of suspension bridge must be performed more exactly to represent its dynamic responses.
