        In this study, an experimental study to investigate the load transfer behavior of the CFT column to steel beam connection was carried out. The load transfer mechanism and the effect of the load transfer length were examined, and the results were also compared with finite element analysis results. Finally, the results are to be used for the basic reference of the design guideline for the CFT column connection.

        The current American Concrete Institute (ACI), Canadian Standard Associate (CSA) and CEB-FIP code suggest that deep beams should be designed using the strut-and-tie model approach. This paper investigates the validity of the current ACI, CSA and CEB-FIP code provisions on the shear strength of simply supported reinforced concrete deep beams by comparing them with the shear strength equations proposed by Hong et al. (2002) The comparison shows that all of these code provisions provide reasonable estimates on the shear strength of concrete deep beam members and the ACI and CEB-FIP codes results in similar estimates while the CSA code relatively underestimate the strength.

        In this study, the amount of construction waste created from Demolition and reconstruction of old buildings by environmental contamination by construction waste has been raised as a social problem, according as a means to settle problems the government is being encouraged the use Recycled aggregate. However recycled aggregate has not yet been applied to structures in many cases. Due to uncertain technical verification of long-term durability, the use of recycled aggregate is being limited. Accordingly in this study, High Strength Concrete Beams use Recycled coarse Aggregate to evaluate the performance of the bending and establish national standards for structural design of recycled aggregates aims to provide the basic data.

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate the shear strength of the GFRP plate shear reinforced deep beam. The performance of the proposed shear reinforcement was investigated by performing tests on four deep beam specimens with GFRP shear reinforced specimen and unreinforced specimen. Test parameters are the shear reinforcement area and presence of shear reinforcement. The effects of these parameters on the shear strength of the GFRP plate shear reinforced deep beam are examined.

        A new type of GFRP shear reinforcement is proposed for reinforced concrete beams. The new GFRP shear reinforcement consists of GFRP plate material with openings to ensure complete integration with the concrete. The performance of the proposed shear reinforcement was investigated by performing tests on six concrete beam specimens with shear span-to-depth ratio of 2.4. Test parameters include the area of opening of GFRP plate and the shape of GFRP plate. The effects of these parameters on the shear strength of the GFRP plate shear reinforced concrete beam were examined.

        The GFRP shear reinforcement is manufactured into a plate shape with several openings, and it is embedded into concrete with longitudinal steel reinforcements during construction stage.         In this study, it was developed eco-friendly zero cement fiber reinforced concrete using ground granulated blast furnace slag and alkali activator(water glass, sodium hydroxides). Also, it was evaluated the flexure capacity of the RC beams using zero cement concrete. The eco-friendly concrete using zero cement encouraged alkali activation reaction has rapid hardening speed and showed possibility as a high strength concrete. Also, the RC beams applied this showed similar movement and destroy tendency with RC used previous cement.

        The objective of this study is to suggest an equation of development length of GFRP rebar. A regression analysis was performed based on the experimental results failed by splitting failure. By regression analysis, this study can suggest to development length and it is possible to make more efficient design than the equations of ACI and JSCE.

        This study carried out a fire test for the RC beam to investigate fire performance. It includes the analysis for materials strength change of concrete and steel and heat transfer capacity of the concrete beam. Fire curve and standard test method was applied with ISO 834 and KS F 2257, respectively. The result of fire test will be used for parametric study using numerical analysis to verify heat transfer characteristic of RC beam structure.

        This paper describes the results of experimental testing of GFRP composite beam strengthened reinforced concrete (RC) slabs with two symmetrical openings. The aim of this study is to investigate the most effective strengthening method using GFRP composite beams in slabs with openings for enhancing the load-carrying capacity and stiffness. Test results showed that the strengthened slabs seem to increase the load-carrying capacity by 29%, 21% and 12% over that of the control specimen for diagonal, parallel and surround strengthening, respectively. Furthermore, test results showed that diagonal-strengthened system is one of the most effective methods for RC slab with openings in terms of load-carrying capacity, stiffness and crack patterns.

        The paper is focused on evaluation of the effect of quality of concrete and construction workmanship on the reliability of beams. The reliability analysis is performed for moments and shear forces in steel beams. The basic resisance parameters considered in this study are bias factor and coefficient of variation. The calculated reliability indices indicate that bias factor is the most critical parameter that determines the structural performance.

        Hahoe Mask Dance is one of the most representative Korean Mask Dances in traditional folk customs. With the longest history among all the Mask Dances, it is the only one that has been appointed as the national treasure. The particular figure designs and tinges in Hahoe Mask Dance not only reflect the traits of characters in the plays but also present to the world the Korean tradition and its immanent thoughts, culture, morality, arts and so on. If kimchi is the most representative food of Korea, Hahoe Mask Dance must be the most representative face. In China, Beijing Opera, as the most influential one, enjoys the fame as “national opera”. It has been spread to the whole world and has become an important means to introduce Chinese traditional culture. The painting on the face of an opera performer is called a facial mask which is a big characteristic of Beijing Opera. The facial masks can help the audience to understand the plots of an opera. hey are different based on different roles. For the roles of “Sheng” and “Dan”, the facial makeups are quite simple with little cosmetics. So they are often called as “handsome makeup”, “plain face” or “clean face”. As for the roles of “Jing” and “Chou”, their facial masks are more complex. “Jing”, particularly, is always heavily painted with complicated designs. So it is often called “flowerish face”. The facial masks in Beijing Opera mainly refer to the facial paintings of “Jing”. The article is aimed at an analysis and a comparison between Hahoe Mask Dance and Beijing Opera in the aspects of figure designs, tinges and colors, hence to understand the traditional cultures of both countries deeply.

        기능성 게임은 현재 정부, 교육, 군사, 기업 그리고 보건 및 의료분야에 이르기까지 다양하게 확장되고 있다. 특히 보건/의료 기능성 게임은 예방과 치료를 위한 유용한 도구로 인식되고 있으며, 구체적으로 천식, 당뇨, 암, 뇌질환, 백혈병 등의 질환을 가진 환자들의 상태를 호전시키는 결과가 보고되고 있다. 이러한 효과들을 토대로, 미국과 유럽 등에서는 건강심리, 가상현실, 행동의학 등의 다학제간 융합연구를 통해 다양한 형태의 게임 개발이 시도되고 있다. 그러나, 국내에서는 아직까지 이에 대한 체계적인 학문적 접근은 물론 개발사의 효과적인 기획 전략 수립과 다양한 개발 노력도 부족한 상황이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 보건/의료 기능성 게임에 대한 기존의 연구결과를 바탕으로 그 개념과 효과, 분류체계를 정리하고, 대표적인 성공사례를 분석하여, 향후 관련 연구와 개발 및 기획에 대한 개괄적인 방향성을 제시하고자 한다. 특히, 보건/의료 기능성 게임의 성공적 개발을 위해서는 의학적 근거와 과학적 설명을 근간으로 기획 단계부터 관련 이론을 체계적으로 적용시키는 것이 중요하다. 이에 따라, 본 연구는 보건/의료 기능성 게임에 적용되었거나 향후 활용 가능한 이론들을 정리하고, 성공사례 분석과 결부해 연구자와 개발자, 그리고 의료 전문가들이 고려할 사항과 방향성에 대한 제언을 정리하였다.

        A new precast concrete (PC) beam and column connection system using non-prestressed wire strands was recently developed. The system is composed of one unit of two-storied PC-column and PC-beams with U-shaped ends. The connection part of the column and beams is reinforced by deformed bars and non-prestressed wire strands in combination for the improvement of workability. Structural performance of this system was verified by several experimental studies. The purpose of this study is developing a design concept of the beam reinforced by deformed bars and non-prestressed wire strands in combination, in terms of the cross-sectional analysis, based on the preceded experiment. A minimum and maximum reinforcement ratio and the calculation formula for the strength of flexural member reinforced by reinforcements having different yield strengths are derived based on KBC2009. Under consideration existing research results for the application of high strength reinforcement bars, the design yield strength of the non-prestressed wire strand is suggested. An example for the cross section design, satisfying the serviceability requirements, demonstrates the applicability of the design concept developed in the study.

        외부강선으로 보강된 철근콘크리트 보에 대한 기존 연구 대상은 과보강 철근콘크리트 보가 대부분이다. 그러나 이러한 저보강 철근콘크리트 보에 대한 외부 강선 보강은 보강 텐던의 양이 아주 적어서 외부 강선의 보강 효과를 명확하게 분석할 수 없다는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 이유로 본 연구에서는 손상된 저보강 철근콘크리트 보를 외부강선으로 보강한 경우를 선택하여 연구를 수행하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실험을 통하여 보강 효과를 평가하고 적절한 보강방법을 찾기 위해서 7개의 실험 부재를 제작하여 휨거동 실험을 실시하였다. 실험 결과에 의하면, 강선량이 증가할수록 보강효과는 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 에폭시 레진으로 균열을 보수하면 그 효과는 더욱 커지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 외부 강선의 극한응력에 대한 AASHTO 1994와 ACI-318 설계식은 실험결과와 잘 일치하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 향후 손상된 철근콘크리트 보의 적정 보강 방법을 제시하는 데 효과적일 것으로 예상된다.

        FRP hybrid bar, a type of the reinforcing bar, is combined with the FRP or steel core and FRP cover. FRP braided hybrid bar is a type of the FRP hybrid bar having the FRP braid as FRP cover. To estimate the axial behavior of FRP braided hybrid bar, the behavior of FRP braid in axial direction of the bar should be calculated. In this paper, to estimate the stiffness of FRP braid in axial direction of the bar, the approximate analytical solution was proposed.
