With the chance of entering WTO, China is promoting the rebuilding of conformity assessment system in order to conform to WTO/TBT requirement and international conformity assessment system. Firstly, this research make it clear that the importance of conformity assessment activity, and the international movement of conformity assessment activity. Secondly, this paper surveyed the development course of conformity assessment activity and it's present operating system in China. Finally, this paper concludes the problems of present conformity assessment activity and implies the improving scheme. In the meantime, it also point out the later possible research topic in this field.

Reducing the logistic cost may be accomplished by numbers of logistic management methods, but the most fundamental and essential one is the accomplishment of the consistent pallet system that is the core of unit load system, and the purpose of consistent pallet system is the treatment of logistic functions such as transportation, storage and unloading with consistent pallet system, and increasing the turnover ratio is required for the improvement of the system. As the turnover ratios is increased, more pallets will be used so, numbers of empty pallets will be increased accordingly by returning the pallet. Though the Honorary Industrial Safety Supervisor System was activated from 1995, the system did not show the better effectiveness due to the unconcern of top management and the insufficient support of government etc. The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of the system and to present the improvement direction of that system. The research result points out that we have to consider the following countermeasures; First, the government should make up the support system by a law dealing with proper compensation and professional education for the supervisor, and tax reduction for companies. Second, the companies should make an effort firming up the safety consciousness of top management, and strengthening the employees' concern about safety through continuous safety education and campaign by a labor union, and promoting the supervisor's pride through recognition from top management and other employees.

This research aimed to find out menu preference for middle school students and was conducted in a form of questionnaire sampled form middle school students in 10 schools where the meal program under commission was operating in Seoul. The questionnaire was distributed from Dec. 1 to 20, 2000 and gathered menu preference of staple, soup or stew, side dishes and dessert by each meal, season, gender. Statistical data analysis was completea using the SAS package, such as average and standard deviation, frequency analysis and T-test. The results can be summarized as follows : Most of the schools provided rice for lunch, while the students preferred noodles, mandu and bread. Most of students preferd beef rib soup. Gimchi stew with clear soup was favored for breakfast and stews for lunch and dinner. Side dishes were more favored by female students, in which shows the differences between male and female students. Students preferred dessert the most with fruits(4.49). It is required that the quality of school meals should be improved through the service of various kinds of desserts.
