        최근 기후변화 및 국제교역량, 여행객, 외국 이주민 등의 증가로 국내 농작물에 큰 피해를 입힐 수 있는 고위험 식물 병의 국내 유입이 꾸준히 증가하고 있고 이에 따라, 검역기관 종사자들의 업무량도 늘어나고 있다. 특히 ‘Candidatus Liberibacter solanacearum’가 원인병원균인 감자 제브라칩병의 경우, 발생하게 되면 감자를 초토화시켜 막대한 피해를 야기한다. ‘Ca. L. solanacearum’의 감자와 토마토 등의 가지과(Solanaceae) 작물과 당근을 포함하는 산형과(Umbelliferae) 작물이 기주가 될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 아직까지 국내에 유입되지 않은 감자 제브라칩병과 매개충인 토마토 감자 나무이(tomato potato psyllid; TPP; Bactericera cockerelli Sulc.)에 대한 예찰 조사를 수행하였다. 예찰 조사를 위해 전국을 7개 권역(경기-강원, 충청, 전북, 전남, 경북, 경남 및 제주)으로 나누고, 각 권역에 속하는 3개 지역 중심으로 수행하였는데, 경기-강원 권역은 인천, 화성, 춘천 및 홍천, 충청 권역은 공주, 세종 및 청주, 전북 권역은 익산, 완주 및 정읍, 전남 권역은 보성, 고흥 및 순천, 경북 권역은 상주, 김천 및 안동, 경남 권역은 거창, 함양 및 진주, 제주 권역은 구좌 및 성산 지역이 해당되며, 지역당 3개 지점을 두고 조사하였다. 매개충 TPP 조사를 위해 끈끈이 트랩을 이용한 조사를 병행하였다. 예찰 조사는 2018년 9월부터 10월까지 2주 간격으로 실시하였다. 2018년 예찰 조사결과, 감자 제브라칩병과 매개충인 TPP는 국내에는 확인되지 않았다. 이 연구는 식물병을 조기에 탐지하기 위해 구축된 전국적인 모니터링 네트워크를 통해 수행할 수 있었고, 국외 외래유입병들의 예찰 조사를 위한 지역 거점을 확보하는데 기여하였다고 평가된다.

        The rate of salt and sugar into pickled cabbages was determined, and physicochemical characteristics, such as sensory, texture, and pH, of vinegar pickled cabbages during storage were examined at different storage temperatures and vinegar concentrations. The rate of salt and sugar penetration was faster in smaller size and on leaves rather than the stem of cabbage. Also, higher salt and sugar concentration and higher storage temperatures led to increase in salt and sugar permeation rate. As a result of sensory test, lower storage temperature is the most suitable, and 6% vinegar concentration was the mostly appropriate. Hardness and cohesiveness were decreased significantly at the initial 1st week storage time, but storage temperature did not show any significant effect. Addition of vinegar contents enhanced the hardness, but decreased cohesiveness. The pH was lowered with increasing vinegar content, indicated most significant factor on pickled cabbage. In general, salt and sugar contents rather than storage temperature have greater influence on permeation rate, and especially, addition of vinegar affects the texture of pickled cabbage.

        The microstructural evolution and modulation of mechanical properties were investigated for a Ti65Fe35 hypereutectic alloy by addition of Bi53In47 eutectic alloys. The microstructure of these alloys changed with the additional Bi- In elements from a typical dendrite-eutectic composite to a bimodal eutectic structure with primary dendrite phases. In particular, the primary dendrite phase changed from a TiFe intermetallic compound into a β-Ti solid solution despite their higher Fe content. Compressive tests at room temperature demonstrated that the yield strength slightly decreased but the plasticity evidently increased with an increasing Bi-In content, which led to the formation of a bimodal eutectic structure (β-Ti/TiFe + β- Ti/BiIn containing phase). Furthermore, the (Ti65Fe35)95(Bi53In47)5 alloy exhibited optimized mechanical properties with high strength (1319MPa) and reasonable plasticity (14.2%). The results of this study indicate that the transition of the eutectic structure, the type of primary phases and the supersaturation in the β-Ti phase are crucial factors for controlling the mechanical properties of the ultrafine dendrite-eutectic composites.

        본 연구는 키토산 및 생균제를 급여한 한우의 채끝등심의 품질 및 화학적 특성에 미치는 영향에 대해 조사하기 위해 실시 하였다. 거세한우(n=20)를 시험구별 완전 임의 배치한 뒤 대조구(n=10)는 일반 배합 사료를 급여하고, 처리구(n=10)는 키토산 및 생균제 배합사료(생균제 1%, 키토산 0.1%)를 4개월 동안 급 여하였다. 각 처리구는 1등급을 받은 채끝등심을 이용하였다. 일반성분 결과 수분(64.13~65.00%), 조회 분(1.47~1.69%), 조단백질(19.56~20.25%), 조지방(15.69~15.88%)은 처리구간 유의적인 차이가 없었다. pH, 가열감량, 전단력, 육색 모두 처리구간의 유의적인 차이는 없었으며, 보수력의 경우 대조구(69.60%) 보다 처리구(74.29%)가 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.05). 지방산패도는 처리구간의 유의적인 차이는 없었으 나 휘발성염기태질소 함량은 처리구에서 유의적으로 낮은 함량을 나타내었다(p<0.05). Collagen함량과 anserine 함량은 처리구간의 유의적인 차이는 없었으나, carnosine은 처리구(51.22mg/dry base)가 대 조구(47.08mg/dry base) 보다 유의적으로 높은 함량을 나타내었다(p<0.05). Palmitoleic acid와 다가 불포화지방산 함량은 대조구보다 처리구에서 유의적으로 높았으며, 키토산과 생균제 급여는 한우 채끝 등심의 아미노산과 무기질 함량에는 영향을 미치지 않았다. 따라서 거세 한우에 1% 생균제 및 0.1% 키 토산 배합사료 급여는 한우 채끝등심의 보수력 향상 및 단백질 변패 억제, 기능성 성분인 carnosine 함 량과 다가 불포화 지방산의 함량을 높이는 효과를 보여 추후 이들 성분이 기능성 사료 첨가제로서 사용 가능성이 있을 것으로 사료된다.

        Sewerage age more rapidly than other facilities, leading to the destruction of the pipeline. Therefore, the replacement of old sewer pipes through long-term construction is costly. In order to solve this problem, this study investigated the ferronickel based sewer pipe with improved chemichal resistance and durability from concrete rigidity pipe. ABAQUS was used as the finite element analysis program and the load was calculated by the method given in the sewage facility standard. Therefore, the results of this study can be referenced in the design and construction of sewer pipes.

        This study was conducted to investigate the quality characteristics, anti-oxidation activity and di-peptide (anserine, carnosine) contents of marinated pork loin from Korean native black pig (KNBP) and crossbred of Landrace×Yorkshire×Durock (LYD) by addition of fruits (pineapple and gold kiwi). Sliced pork loin (13~15 mm) was marinated in three different treatments: 1) no fruits addition, 2) with seasoning and pineapple for 5 h, 3) with seasoning and kiwi for 5 h. Addition of fruits significantly decreased pH, hardness and chewiness of marinated KNBP and LYD pork loin. Anti-oxidation activity in pork were significantly increased by addition of fruits. Especially, addition of gold kiwi in the pork loin marinated for 5 h showed the highest anti-oxidation activity and carnosine contents. Also, it showed the highest score in the sensory characteristics (juiciness and tenderness). These results suggested that the pork loin marinated with gold kiwi for 5 h could be one of the solutions to enhance quality characteristics of marinated KNBP and LYD.

        Horse leg bone has been used as a traditional folk medicine for the sick and weak. Bone primarily contains collagen, a key building block of cells for bones, cartilage, and ligaments. In our previous study, horse leg bone hydrolysates showed anti-oxidation and skin protection effects against UV light. The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of jelly containing Jeju crossbred horse leg bone hydrolysates at 0.3 (HLBH 0.3), 0.5 (HLBH 0.5) and 1.0% (HLBH 1.0). The HLBH 1.0 showed the highest pH and Brix values compare to control. Lightness (L*) and redness (a*) of HLBH 1.0 showed the lowest value compare to other treatments. However, yellowness (b*) of HLBH 0.3 and 0.5% was increased significantly with increasing levels of Jeju crossbred horse leg bone hydrolysates (p<0.05), while HLBH 0.5 and HLBH 1.0 showed no significant difference. Hardness and chewiness of jelly was decreased with increase of HLBH up to 0.5%, whereas no significant difference was found between HLBH 0.5 and 1.0. In sensory evaluation, panels did not tell the difference of jelly with different level of HLBH in all sensory factors likely color, appearance, flavor, chewiness, taste, and overall acceptability. This result suggests that Jeju crossbred horse leg bone hydrolysates can be used up to 1% without any significant bad influence on quality and sensory characteristics of jelly.

        This study describes the result on PV system for evaluating the performance of small fishing boats. Photovoltaic system with 200 watts power generation facilities on the 3-ton fishing boat was carried. Load test was performed on the condition that the work lamps lit during night operations. As a result the performance can be used for more than two hours at 60 watt work lamps. The load test was performed on the condition that fishing vessels are on the cruising condition at sea. The solar power systems have been investigated as a power generation efficiency of about 36.55%. Additional tests show that the power generation efficiency is difficult to expect a maximum of 50% or more.Fuel consumption of fishing boats by installing a solar power system is reduced. Also the PV system is useful for the verification of their availability for fishing vessels as well as the satisfaction of the fishermen. The results for the durability of the photovoltaic device is acceptable, including a solar panel, controller and the performance exhibited no breakage in the harsh marine environment or failure so far. The installed PV system was confirmed that the durability with at least 2 years.

        Breakwater is one of the most important coastal structure in port. The principal function of a breakwater is obviously to prevent the penetration of incident waves into a harbor. Wave transmission effected by the shape of breakwater and many research carried out using numerical modeling, However hydraulic model experiment is rarely performed. Therefore in this study, hydraulic model experiment carried out to investigate wave height distribution characteristics by shape of breakwater head.
