《요한수난곡》의 고찰을 통해서 교회음악 작곡가 발다사레 갈루피의 한 면모를 들여다 보고자 하는 본 논문은 이 전례음악 작품에 16세기 후반기 및 17세기 초의 이탈리아 수난곡 전통이 스며있음을 확인한다. 하지만 그 전통은 작곡가의 고유 양식을 통해 현실화된 것이 다. 다채롭고 긴장감을 잃지 않는 작곡기법, 오페라에서 유래하는 요소들, 가사의 외적 · 내 적 의미 및 내용에 상응할 뿐 아니라 그 의미와 내용을 섬세하게 돋아주는 음악적 효과 등이 갈루피의 고유 양식으로 드러난다. 결론적으로 갈루피에게 전통은 과거의 유산에 그치는 것 이 아니라 지속적으로 새로워져야하는 생동하는 음악적 실제의 일부였다. 즉, 갈루피가 보여 주는 ‘새로운 것들’은 이미 존재하는 음악적 수단들의 섬세한 변화와 개성적 취급을 통해 전 통으로부터 생겨난 것이다.

본 연구의 목적은 한국의 전통적 가치로서의 유교적 가치에 대한 예비유아교사의 인식을 알아봄으로써 유교적 가치를 반영한 예비유아교사 인성교육 프로그램 개발의 실제적 기초를 제공하는데에 있다. 연구 대상은 J시와 D시에 소재하고 있는 전문대학 유아교육과 재학생 409명이었다. 강혜원(2012)이 사용한 한국인의 유교적 가치 측정 도구를 활용하여 예비유아교사들의 전통적 가치에 대한 인식을 알아보았다. 연구결과 예비유아교사들은 한국의 전통적 가치인 유교적 가치에 대해서 전반적으로 중요하다고 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 살펴보면 도덕함양과 관련된 유교적 가치에 대해서는 중요하다라고 인식하고 있었던 반면 사회질서와 관련된 유교적 가치에 대해서는 보통정도로 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타나 도덕함양 관련 가치를 더욱 중요하게 인식하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 개인적 변인에 따른 인식차이를 살펴보면 예비유아교사의 학년이 높고, 대인관계가 좋고, 그리고 학과만족도가 높을수록 유교적 가치를 더욱 중요하게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났고 이는 통계적으로도 유의미한 차이가 있었다.

본 연구의 목적은 최근 중국 게임시장에서 인기 있는 온라인게임의 전통예술 표현 특징을 분석하는 것이다. 전통 중국문화의 미적 특징에 대한 플레이어의 심리 선호도를 반영하는 MMORPG 캐릭터를 디자인함으로써 플레이어가 게임을 즐기는 동시에 시각적 만족감을 느낄 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 최근 전통문화를 배경으로 제작한 중국 온라인게임은 많은 플레이어들에게 인기를 끌고 있지만, 외국게임업계의 중국 게임시장 진입에 따라 더욱 다원화된 방식으로 진행되고 있다. 이러한 현재의 중국 온라인 게임 환경을 고려하여 중국 MMORPG 중에서 고유한 전통예술 표현을 활용하는 전통 신화 무협 게임을 선택하고, 개인 플레이어를 반영하는 이상적인 캐릭터 조작이나 사회성 등을 분석하여 전통인물의 형태, 복식, 색, 주거환경을 반영한 표현기법, 캐릭터의 이상적인 형태나 전통 신화의 제한된 주제의 재구성, 캐릭터의 독창성이나 개성이 강조된 집합체 캐릭터 특징을 파악하였다. 중국 MMORPG 역사가 길지 않지만 이러한 연구를 통해 중국의 전통 문화 예술과 관련된 신화 무협 MMORPG의 정체성을 파악하고 플레이어로 하여금 더욱 효과적인 온라인게임의 이해와 만족감을 증가시킬 수 있으리라 본다.

To establish how we can estimate the stability of traditional wood structures by using commercial structural analysis programs, it is important to calculate the stiffness of the Gong-Po. So, the estimating method of its axial stiffness is proposed on the deformation of each member which forms the Gong-Po.

Generally deformation of wooden structures is larger than that of concrete and steel structures. We measured deformation of traditional Korean-style houses periodically and analyzed their deformation patterns. We expect that this study can help to reveal causes of long-term deformation of traditional Korean-style houses.

This article purposes to make a GIS database of South Korea rural village forest. So we first tried to collect data of their geographic coordinates or location from the many references on the rural village forest. As the result, we collected locations of the 634 forests. Boundaries of the 462 forests could be made by using their satellite imagery. Finally we implemented GIS database of the 462 traditional rural village forest in South Korea. Furthermore we surveyed 100 forests out of them. They were analyzed in the view of location, area, wood species, cultural assets and activities of inhabitants. These data can be used in the rural village planning and I look forward this database is helpful to preserve existing traditional rural village groves as a lasting legacy.

무형문화유산은 원형의 보존에도 의의가 있지만, 후대로의 전승과 나아가 우리의 생활문화로 활용되는 것 또한 중요하다. 그러나 지금의 우리나라 무형문화유산은 사회적 인식의 부재 속에 몇몇 장인에 의해 그 맥을 이어나가는 것마저 어려워 점차 사라져가고 있다. 또한 현재 우리나라 교구시장은 은물과 같은 외국기업의 교구가 큰 비중을 차지하고 있으며, 우리나라의 민족성과 정체성을 담은 교구는 거의 찾아볼 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구는 교구를 활용한 유아기의 한글 교육을 통해 사라져가는 무형문화유산의 보전 및 계승과 무형문화유산의 가치를 현대적으로 재해석하여 지속적인 발전 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위해 우리나라 무형문화유산 중 못이나 접착제를 사용하지 않고 구조물을 만드는 전통 기술인 짜맞춤 기법을 유아의 한글 교육용 교구에 적용할 수 있도록 체계적으로 정리하고 교구개발에 필요한 가이드라인을 제시하고자 한다.

The quality characteristics of Hwanggeumju (a type of traditional Korean rice wine), which has been described in an ancient document (Sangayorok), were investigated. During its fermentation, its pH gradually decreased from 4.23 to 3.96); and after four days of fermentation, its sugar content significantly decreased. After seven days, its alcohol content rapidly increased to 15.8 percent. Its major organic acid is lactic acid, but malic, succinic, citric and acetic acid were also detected in it. The free amino acid analysis showed relatively high alanine, arginine, asparagine, glutamic acid and leucine contents. The sensory evaluation resulted in high scores for color, turbidity and taste.

The SSH100-10 bacterial strain, which exhibits strong antifungal (anti-mold and anti-yeast) activity, was isolated from traditional korean soysauce aged 100 years. The strain was identified as Bacillus velezensis based on Gram-staining, the biochemical properties and 16S rRNA gene sequence determination. B. velezensis SSH100-10 showed strong proteinase activity and NaCl tolerance, but did not produce enterotoxin. Two-antifungal compounds from B. velezensis SSH100-10 were purified using SPE, preparative HPLC, and reverse phase-HPLC. The purified antifungal compounds were identified as C14 and C15 iturin through MALDI-TOF-MS and amino acid composition analysis. The stability characteristics of the antifungal compounds after temperature, pH, and enzyme treatments suggested that B. velezensis SSH100-10 produced more than two antifungal compounds; pH-stable C14 iturin A and C15 iturin A, and unidentified pH-unstable compounds. The results suggested that B. velezensis SSH100-10 can be used in soybean fermentation as a starter. Moreover it has potential as a biopreservative in the food and feed industry and as a biocontrol agent in the field of agriculture.

본 연구는 한국의 전통정원을 식물 선택 및 배식 기법의 측면에서 고찰하여 당시의 식생 현황을 옛 그림이나 문헌을 통해 간접적으로 유추하여 자연 천이 및 인위적인 변형 등을 통해 변화된 오늘날의 모습과 비교․분석하여 전통정원 조성을 위한 가이드라인을 제시하고자 수행하였다. 조선시대 궁궐정원, 별서정원 및 주택정원을 고찰한 결과, 전통 정원의 전통성을 전달할 수 있는 공간 구성과 상징적 및 사상적 의미를 가지는 식물종 선택이 매우 중요하며, 구체적으로 전통정원의 공간 기능, 배식 의미, 식물 종, 경관 요소 등을 도출하여 식재 유형 예시도를 작성하였다. 이를 통하여 한국 전통정원의 현재 모습의 기록 및 국내․외 한국 전통정원 조성을 위한 가이드라인 제공을 기대할 수 있다.

이 연구의 목적은 기술․가정 교과 ‘전통 기술의 이해’ 단원에서 ‘모형 거중기 만들기’를 주제로 STEAM 교육을 위한 수업 자료를 개발하는데 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 통합교육 이론 및 STEAM 이론을 고찰하고, ‘전통 기술의 이해’ 단원을 분석하였으며 선행 연구에서 주제 선정 기준을 분석하여 STEAM 수업자료 개발을 위한 주제 선정 기준을 정하였다. 그리고 수업자료 개발 모형에 따라 ‘전통 기술의 이해’ 단원에서의 STEAM 수업자료를 개발하였다. STEAM 수업 자료의 개발을 위한 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이 수업자료의 통합적 접근은 간학문적․활동중심 통합방식에 따랐으며 이를 통해 STEAM 통합교육 및 체험교육이 될 수 있었다. 둘째, 이 수업자료는 거미줄망 작성을 통해 교과간 내용 연계와 학습내용을 선정하고 조직하였다. 셋째, 이 연구에서 개발된 STEAM 수업자료는 ‘모형 거중기 만들기’를 활동 과제로 한 수업 과정안, 학생 활동지, 활동지 해설, 파워포인트 자료 등으로 구성되어 있다.

The main aim of this article is to uncover how F. R. Leavis carves out his own theoretical space and re/draws the map of English poetry by re-reading T. S. Eliot’s theory of tradition and the dissociated sensibility. In his well-known essay, “Tradition and the Individual Talents,” Eliot underlines the significance of literary tradition in the development of culture and literature, and valorizes it as an “ideal order” that endlessly re/adjusts and re/organizes itself by merging the new with the existing. Profoundly influenced by Eliot’s criticism and poetry, Leavis published two seminal books, New Bearings in English Poetry and Revalution, in the 1930s, where he thoroughly examines the real value of his contemporary poets as well as the past ones and, thereby, re/constructs the great tradition of English poetry. In the books, Leavis redresses Eliot’s notion of tradition, which allows for the dominating power of the past tradition over the present and individuals, by highlighting that it is a small number of talented individuals that challenge the existing order and establish a new tradition. In doing so, Leavis registers the significance of the active and creative role of the subject in the establishment and revaluation of tradition. Unlike Eliot’s notion of tradition, his theory of the dissociation of sensibility is constantly championed by Leavis, who utilizes it as a significant theoretic tool by which to map out the stream of English poetry. However, this does not mean that Leavis unconditionally embraces Eliot’s theory. Rather, Leavis re-enacts the theory by filling up the theoretic ‘empty gaps’ overlooked by Eliot. One of them is the social background that underlies the dissociation of sensibility. For Leavis, it is not just the socio-political changes around the English Civil War but cultural and intellectual factors, including the decay of the court culture and the development of modern science and modern prose, that lead to the dissociation. Another problem of Eliot’s theory is that it forestalls the possibility of the restoration of the unified sensibility in modern poetry by assuming that it has never recovered itself from the damaging effects of the dissociation. However, for Leavis, it is possibile for great individuals to restore the unified sensibility in the age of the dissociation of sensibility, The poet that fully realizes this, Leavis claims, is no other than Eliot himself, who never takes into serious consideration this possibility.

문화상품이란 자국의 문화. 역사적 요소 및 자원이 시대적 조건에 맞는 심미적 요소와 첨단산업기술을 복합적으로 투입하여 경제적 부가가치를 창출하는 복합체를 말한다. 동시에 문화상품은 한 나라의 문화가 총체적으로 응집된 상품을 뜻하며, 고부가가치 창조형 산업이면서 자국문화의 고유성 및 특성을 살려 새로운 가치를 창출하는 과정에서 제작자의 전문성 및 창의력이 상품 경쟁력을 결정하는 지식창조형 산업이다. 따라서 어느 산업보다 첨단 소프트웨어 기술과 문화 창조능력이 요구되는 유망산업이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 현재 우리나라는 문화상품에 대한 국가정부의 인식순준은 높으나 민간자본의 협력관계를 조성하는 기반이 미흡하다. 전통자수는 우리의 사상과 미의식이 투영된 소중한 문화유산이며 차별성 있는 문화산업화로 국제경쟁력 시대에 대응해야 한다. 중국과 영국의 도자기, 일본의 칠기 등과 같이 우리의 전통 자수도 시대에 맞는 문화상품으로 개발하여 세계적으로 우수한 문화상품으로 발전되어야하겠다.

Two hundred and twenty three yeast strains were randomly isolated from Korean traditional nuruk. Among them, six urease producing yeast strains (designated JJA, JJB, JJ22, SHA, SHC and SH10) were selected on the Christensen urea agar plates. They showed the same pattern in the PCR-RFLP analysis of the ITS I-5.8S-ITS II region digested with HaeIII and HinF1 restriction endonucleases. Its DNA sequences showed 100% (strains SHA, SHC and SH10) and 99.8% (strains JJA, JJB and JJ22) identity with those of Issatchenkia orientalis type strain ATCC 24210. Phylogenetic analysis resulted in that all the strains were closely related to I. orientalis. Two representative strains, JJ22 and SH10, showing the highest urease activities were selected for further characterization. Their morphological, physiological and biochemical characteristics were also the same as I. orientalis. Therefore, both the two strains were identified as I. orientalis. They could grow at a wide range of temperature between 20-40℃ as well as pH between 2.0 and 10.0. However, a higher level urease activity were obtained at acidic pH than that at alkalic pH. The maximal level of urease activity was obtained at 30℃ (strain SH10) or 35℃ (strain JJ22) and in a liquid medium adjusted to the initial pH 5.0.

전통 목구조는 기둥-보-도리로 가구를 구성하며, 보 장부의 파괴는 전통 목구조의 붕괴로 이어질 수 있다. 장부의 구조성능을 평가하기 위해 장부 두께에 따른 내력과 강성을 평가하고, 상부 구조체를 해체하여야 가능한 기존 보강방안을 보완하여 상부 구조체를 해체하지 않고 보강하는 방안을 제안한다. 효과적인 보강방안을 제안하기 위해 철물 개수 및 간격, 모양 및 삽입깊이를 요인으로 실험을 행하여 비보강 실험체와 내력, 강성을 비교한다. 장부의 전단실험을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 도출한다. 장부의 내력과 초기전단강성은 장부 두께가 두꺼워질수록 증가하지만, 장부 두께를 크게 하면 기둥의 사개부분이 약해져 구조적 안전성에 영향을 미친다. 장부의 내력 전단응력 전단강성을 효과적으로 향상시키기 위해서는 철물 3개를 장부의 중앙부에 배치하여 보강하여야 한다. 이를 토대로 기둥-보-도리 등의 접합부에 대한 연구도 진행되어야 할 것이다.
