예이츠의 후기 작품은 니체의 아폴로와 디오니소스의 이중성이라는 관점에서 볼 때 보다 더 정확하게 이해될 수 있다. 아폴로의 가상은 개인의 삶을 창조하는 힘인데 이러한 생각은 예이츠의 마스크 개념에서 가장 잘 표현된다. 지속적으로 개인의 가상을 새롭게 창조하기 위해서는 아폴로적인 것은 가상을 산산이 부수는 디오니소스적인 힘이 필요하다. 디오니소스적이고 아폴로적인 비극의 개념은 예이츠의 비극적 삶과 예술에 대한 태도를 관통하는 주제이며 특히 “비극적 환희”에서 가장 강력하게 반영된다.

2006년 10월 22일에서 24일에 걸쳐 한반도 강릉지역에서 강한 집중호우가 발생했다. 이 기간에 대해서 집중호우가 발생하기 전과 강우강도가 가장 강했을 때 나타나는 종관적, 운동학적 특성을 조사하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 지상일기도, 상층일기도, 적외위성영상, 자동기상관측장비(AWS) 자료, NCEP(National Centers for Environmental Prediction) 전구분석자료를 이용하였다. 분석 기간 동안 강릉에서 관측된 총 강수량은 316.5 mm이고, 최대 순간풍속은 63.7m s-1이다. 일기도를 분석해보면 집중호우가 시작하기 전 온대저기압이 한반도 중부에서 발달하였으며 한반도 북부에 역전기압골이 형성되어 있다. 또한 300 hPa 상층일기도에서는 서해와 한반도 남부에 제트기류가 위치하며, 위치 소용돌이도 이상과 관련된 절리 저기압이 한반도 북서부에서 발달하고 있다. 강우강도가 가장 강했을 때의 특성을 좀 더 자세히 알아보기 위하여 강릉지역의 위치 소용돌이도 이상과 바람, 위치 소용돌이도의 시간-연직 단면도, 연직운동, 발산장과 수렴장, 역학적 온위의 연직분포에 대해 조사하였다. 종관적, 운동학적 과정을 분석해 본 결과 대류권계면 접힘이 집중호우 발생에 큰 역할을 한 것으로 사료된다.

Faced with an unknown and uncertain reality in the early 20th century, W. B. Yeats is poignantly aware of the impossibility of objective truth as well as of ineffectiveness of all traditional modes of acquiring knowledge. He well recognizes that there is no center or a focal point of reference in a reality, which is sought over and over again. “The Second Coming” well expresses the absence of a fixed center or origin of experience in Yeats’s historical system. It shows that there is a non-locus at the center of all history, of all thinking, speech, writing, and action. “The Three Beggars” also gives a vivid illustration of how empty meaning swirls around a missing center and the lack of foundation, which is well represented by the three beggars’ collapse. Another poem “Among School Children” suggests that despite one’s efforts, one cannot arrive at “Presences,” which, like the answers to Yeats’s final rhetorical questions, are endlessly deferred. Despite such the limits and deferral of meaning, Yeats never gives up to assign meaning to the fragmentary reality by declaring and creating a symbol. In “A Dialogue of Self and Soul” the Self asserts the emblematic status of Sato’s sword and its covering. In “Blood and the Moon” Yeats again assigns meaning overtly by declaring the tower his symbol, though the poet in its last stanza, recognizing that ultimate wisdom is deferred beyond life, self-reflexively uses a metaphor of the blood stain to encode the limits of human understanding. In “1916 Easter” Yeats demonstrates what he can do as his part of a poet with the fragmentary reality. He calls each victim of the Easter Rebellion by name and writes it in verse, which denotes a bricolargic strategy of using the only language at hand to impose meaning on the painfully unresolved ambiguities of the Rebellion, even if he not only well recognizes that he can attribute no ‘truth-value’ to this transmutation, but also no longer expects to arrive at the final meaning of the political event in his poem.

지구과학 분야에서 대기와 해수의 운동을 이해하는 데 필수적인 개념인 전향력의 이해를 돕고자 전향력 실험장치를 개발하였다. 기존의 교과서에 제시된 전향력 실험 장치는 구슬을 내려 보내는 굴림대가 회전원판과 함께 회전하지 않으므로 구슬의 궤적을 이용하여 지구 위에서 전향력에 의해서 일어나는 대기나 해수의 운동을 바르게 설명할 수 없었다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하여 굴림대(빗면)를 원판에 부착하여 원판과 함께 회전하면서 구슬을 보낼 수 있는 새로운 실험 장치를 개발하였다. 개발한 장치와 기존의 장치를 사용하여 전향력 실험을 각각 실시하여 교과서의 실험 장치와 개발한 실험 장치의 특성을 비교하였다. 그 결과 교과서의 실험 장치는 구슬이 원판에 부딪히는 순간에 운동이 매끄럽지 못하여 구슬의 궤적을 분석하는 데 어려움이 있었던 반면에 개선된 실험 장치는 구슬의 궤적을 분석하기 쉬웠으며, 구슬의 속도를 다르게 할 수도 있어서 구슬의 속도가 다를 때 궤적을 서로 비교하는 것이 용이하였다.

이 연구의 목적은 고등학생들의 태양계 상대적인 크기를 쉽게 이해하고 창의적인 사고 능력을 키우기 위한 교육 프로그램 개발이다. 프로그램은 태양계의 상대적 크기 영역에서 4개 주제와 8차시 분량으로 개발되었다. 개발된 프로그램은 구미시에 소재한 G 고등학교 10학년 155명에게 투입하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 개발된 프로그램 학습을 통해 학생들이 태양계 행성들의 상대적인 크기를 쉽게 이해할 수 있었고, 발산적 사고로부터 수렴적 사고로 이어지는 창의적 사고력을 향상 시켰다. 개발된 프로그램의 주제별 활동을 통하여 학생들에게 창의적 사고 능력의 배양과 태양계내의 행성간 거리와 크기에 대해 쉽게 학습시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Analysis of how texts’ rhetorical strategies endanger or sustain the narcissistic structure of the self is an important approach in recent deconstruction criticism. This criticism carries out a challenge to the analogy between the mind and nature that is to establish a coherent image of the mind and the self. By taking Wordsworth’s the Prelude and a few poems in the earliest Yeats, this essay focuses more centrally on threats to the self and the possibility of self-representation posed by the process of representation itself. In Book IV of The Prelude, the dynamic of passion and memory operates through the image of self-knowledge as a ‘reflection.’ The motion from past to present is a totalization of the self by means of metonymical substitution: the mere eye that looks into the water receives a whole image. But as the word hang, deeps, and gleam suggest, the motion is not necessary to lead to a totality of the self. Passion and prop of affection is always already involved in the self-reflection, preventing it from closing upon itself. The complex dynamic of passion and memory thus is inimical to self-representation. The Blessed Babe passage in Book II is also governed by the figure of passage, present here in the word passion as a sort of originary movement. The self-recognition of the poet is structured as crossing between past and present relations. Here substitution occurs as a transformation of the negation of the mother into a positive gain of nature. But the phrase ‘unknown cause’ and the reference to a ‘trouble’ imply the disruption of the passage from the maternal props to natural properties. The dominant mood of Yeats's earliest poetry is one of narcissistic self-contemplation. The poet in the mood does not contemplate a thing in nature but the working of his own mind. The outside world is used as a pretext and a mirror for self-representation. In “The Song of the Happy Shepherd,” the shell is not sheer nature, impressing itself upon a passively receptive consciousness, but the subjective dream of a human imagination. In spite of the apparent replacement of all the substance of the object by its reflection, however, the image of the shell remains altogether conditioned by the existence of this object. The reflection can be left to exist as a mere phantom of the self without substantial existence of nature. The failure is made explicit in “The Sad Shepherd” where the same shell shatters his song into confusion. Yeats is well aware of this paradox. In order to escape from this narcissistic predicament, for example, he uses the image of a parrot in “The Indian to His Love” who rages “at his own image in the enamelled sea.”

Building on the readings of Yeats’s esoteric poems, essays, and A Vision, I poses to rethink the ethical dimensions of his occultism, more specifically his reflection on an encounter with the transcendental beings. The need for rearticulation of the role of the ethical, that is the relation to the other gains urgency because the transcendental beings are by nature obscure, indistinct, and indefinite. They resist too much clarification and determination that may reduce their complicated and irreducible beings to distinct concepts. The difficulty, therefore, lies in the question of how Yeats could present the beings in a manner as precise, proper, and rigorous as possible and at the same time he could respect and honor the mode in which the beings conceals themselves in the mystery, by letting them be the mystery that they are. A Vision was the culmination of Yeats’s lifelong wish to relate the divinity of the supernational beings to the human soul. In order not to present God as a personal deity, Yeats says only about the nearest equivalent his system offers to God, the gnomically-named Thirteenth Cone. The Cone is actually a sphere because sufficient to itself, but as seen by man it is a cone. It is more a symbol of the human relationship to the ultimate being than a symbol of that ultimate itself. Otherwise unknowable, the supernatural beings could be evoked by symbols. The symbol's job for Yeats therefore is not, first and foremost, cognition, in the sense of understanding, calculation, and definition, but instead bringing what is other for language and thought into the openness of its alterity and maintaining this alterity against the power of cognitive assimilation. Yeats lets the symbols work up the mind to evoke the world of the supernatural beings, which will remain unknown to those who relay on the evidence of their senses. “The Cold Heaven” gives a good illustration of the human relation to the supernational beings, for it combines Yeats's own personal history with his supernatural vision. Staring at a winter sky, he desperately looks back at where his life has gone, gathering together in a passionate fusion the lacerating memory of his failure with Gonne and his themes of death, ghosts and dreams. Supernatural Songs shows how Ribh's ecstasy in an encounter with the supernatural being not only arises from the contemplation of things vaster than the individual and imperfectly seen but also escapes from the barrenness and shallowness of a too conscious arrangement. "The Spirit Medium" well exemplifies the phenomenon of permeable structure inhabiting different regions of reality simultaneously so that the world of the supernatural being and that of the individual, inside and outside, one side and the other, subject and the other, appear as correlated and overlapped as equal parts of the inhuman symbolic spirit medium.

The pound net fishery is very important one in Korean coastal fishery and it need to grasp the characteristics of the net affected by many factors. It is considered that the structure and the shape of the pound net can be changed by the direction and speed of current, wave height, depth and conditions of sea bed. However, most of all, the speed of current and wave height influence more upon the pound net than any other factors to deform and flutter. In this study, author carried out the experiments with a model of double one-side pound net made by the similarity law as 1:100 scales at a real experimental area, and additionally the model net experiments were conducted in the circulating water channel in Pukyong National University. The author analyzed the data of transformation of shape and tension of the model pound net to recognize the characteristics of the current and wave acting on it. Regardless of the direction of flow affecting on the fish court net or bag net, the deformed angle and depth to the side panel and bottom of box nets becomes bigger as the wave gets higher and the period of wave is faster. The tension in both upward or downward tends to be changed by the speed of wave. Those value of changes occurred similarly in either fish court net or bag net. Generally, when bag net is located at upward of flow, the value of tension was bigger 10% than any other location or nets. Regardless of the setting direction, the tension of the pound net is increased in proportion to flow speed, wave height and period of wave, and it becomes bigger about 15-30% at upward to flow than downward. Where the flow is upward in the court net, the tension in the wave increased to 37% compared to the one in the flow only in the condition of flow of 0.1-0.3m/s. Where the flow is upward in the bag net, the tension in the wave increased to 52% in the flow of 0.1m/s, and the tension increased to 48% in the flow of 0.2-0.3m/s.

오이묘가 저온피해를 입기 전, 후 토양수분조건과 몇 가지의 화학물질처리가 오이묘의 냉해 경감에 미치는 영향을 연구한 결과 토양수분 -0.3bar 적습상태에서 07:00시에 2℃로 저온처리를 했을 때, 생존율은 28.3%이었으나 -5.5bar에서는 83.3%로 높아져 토양수분이 건조하면 저온피해가 감소되었다. 그러나 18:00시에 저온처리하면 -0.3bar에서도 생존율은 87% 이상이었다. 토양수분이 건조하면 엽신의 ABA함량은 크게 증가되었다. 저온처리 전, 후 ABA의 토양 및 엽면처리는 오이묘의 생존율을 유의하게 증가시켰고 세포의 전해질 누출량도 현저하게 감소시켰으며, 수량의 감소를 경감시켰다. 또한 ABA 처리는 저온처리 후보다는 저온처리 전에, 엽면처리보다는 토양에 처리하는 것이 보다 효과적이었다. ABA(10-5M)와 더불어 요소(0.2%)와 KH2PO4의 엽면살포는 오이의 생장과 수량에 미치는 저온피해를 경감시키는데 효과적이었다.

1973년에서 2001년 남한의 강수자료를 이용하여 계절성 강수에 대하여 연구 분석하였다. 남한 63개 관측지점에 대한 계절성 강수지수와 계절성 강수지수의 연 변화에 대해 조사하였다. 이 연구에서의 계절성 강수라 함은 연중 특정 몇 달에 집중되는 강수의 집중도를 의미한다. 강수 형태는 여러 원인에 의해 변하며, 여름철에는 국지성 강수가 발생한다. 계절성 강수 지수를 이용하여 남한 지역의 계절성 강수 특성을 분석한 결과 남한 지역은 전체적으로 계절성 강수의 특성을 띠고 있는 지역이었으나 1993년 이후 건조한 날씨가 길어지고, 이후 집중호우가 내리는 계절성 강수의 특성이 더욱 뚜렷해지고 있다. 이동평균을 이용하여 계절성 강수 지수의 연 변화를 분석한 결과 남한의 62개 관측지점의 계절성 강수 지수는 29년간 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있음을 확인하였다. 특히 과거(1973∼1982년)에는 6월, 7월에 집중되던 강수가 최근(1992∼2001)에는 8월, 9월에 집중되고 있으며, 10월에도 강수가 집중되는 현상을 보이고 있다. 또한 과거(1973∼1982)에는 계절성 강수 강도 3에 속하는 지역이 많았으나, 1993년 이후부터는 계절성 강수 강도 5와 6에 속하는 관측지점이 늘어나고 있는 추세이다. 계절성 강수 강도 5와 6에 속하는 관측지점이 늘어나고 있다는 것은 남한지역의 강수특성이 건조한 날씨가 계속되다가 이후 특정한 달에 강수가 집중되어 내리는 계절성 강수의 현상이 더욱 뚜렷해지고 있다는 것을 보여주고 있다.

This studies were carried out in summer season to increase high temperature tolerance using hydrogen peroxide treatments on cucumber in greenhouse. The water stress of cucumber in greenhouse by the hydrogen peroxide treatments showed as control〉250 mM〉500 mM treatments in order. The photosynthesis rate of cucumber at 30℃ did not show difference with each hydrogen peroxide treatment in temperature controlled greenhouse. However, the photosynthesis rate of cucumber in the control and hydrogen peroxide treatments at 40℃ was significantly different. The photosynthesis rate of cucumber in combined treatment with 1,000 mg·L-1 CO2 supply and hydrogen peroxide was also higher than control, however, there was no different of photosynthesis in 250 mM and 500 mM treatment. The value of Fv/Fm and Fm/Fo of chlorophyll fluorescent in 500 mM hydrogen peroxide treatment at 40℃ was highest. Also the activity of POD, the antioxidant enzyme, was higher with high hydrogen peroxide concentration than the other treatments. The high temperature limits for growth were 43℃ in the control, 44℃ in the 250 mM and 46℃ in the 500 mM according to analyze chlorophyll fluorescent Fo. The high temperature tolerance in cucumber increased approximately 3℃ by the hydrogen peroxide treatments under this experiment conditions.

The Honam region has played an important role in the development of Korea poetry. So this study focuses on Song Soon among various factors of Honam architecture in 16th century. He was ahead of his times in development of Korean literature, and made buildings that become background and materials of his literature. Song Soon built Myonang-jong in Damyang for his life time and tried to design to pull in nature into his buildings. These buildings were built in beautiful landscape, and showed elegance as a retired scholar and Taoism characteristics. He provided basic ideas, that is, pulling in nature into architecture, and metaphysics morality, and his ideas also influenced Honam School Including Jung Chul. This study looks into Nujung architecture that had become materials of Myonang-jong Song Soon literature and characteristics of Honam architecture through his buildings at the same time.

This study is focused on a space for man in upper classes house that is one of appeared characteristics as Korea, China and Japan imported Confucianism become common cultural base in these countries. Because a space for man in these countries has the same nature represented as a typical space in a upper classes house, and this space is differentiated by regional features, a way of thinking, a way of life and social structure as well, these characteristics are compared one another. Import of Confucianism influenced formation of a upper classes house and the spaces of the house are divided by generation, sexuality and classes. A space for man become a center of the house as well as a space for reception in accordance with patriarchism because this space stands for hierarchy of the house. A space for man of each country, Korea, China and Japan, has differences; that is, Chinese Jeongbang is used as a space for family as well as for guests; Korean Sarangchae is for only men and used as a reception space; Japanese Zasiki is used just for reception. These differences among countries are caused by owner's class, a civil officer or a military officer, and this class differentiated the characteristics of reception for guest. Even though the these countries take the space for man for meeting, Chinese is for family, Korean is for ancestors and Japanese is for guests.

본 연구는 현용 정치망에서 나타나는 급조시의 심한 망형상과, 그물의 파망 및 유실에 의한 조업부진 등의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 일본의 근해어장용 양식 가두리시설에서 사용한 부가중량추의 이용방법을 도입하여 국내 정치망으로의 적용할 가능성을 검토하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 운동장이 흐름의 조상측인 경우, 부가중량추의 무게가 1.3~5.2gf으로 증가할 때 장력은 기준형보다 약 10~25% 증가하였다. 부착위치에 따라서는 A-type과 B-type은 기준형과 비슷하였고, C-type과 D-type은 기준형보다 약 10~15% 증가하였다. 2. 부가중량추의 무게가 1.3~5.2gf으로 증가할 때 운동장 섶장의 기울기 변화량은 약 0~70˚, 비탈그물의 섶장은 약 0~64˚, 조하측인 제 2원통의 섶장은 약 0~46˚까지였고, 유속이 0.0~0.6m/s로 증가할 때 제1원통고 제2원통 까래의 깊이는 정조시 보다 약 50% 감소하였다. 3. 부가중량추의 부착위치에 따른 운동장 섶장의 깊이는 A-type은 기준형보다 약 25%, B-type은 약 10% 감소하였고, C-type은 기준형과 비슷하고, D-type은 약 15% 증가하였다. 비탈그물의 까래의 깊이는 A-type이 가장 깊었고, 다음으로 B-type, C-type, D-type 순이었다. 제2원통 까래의 깊이는 4종류의 실험망이 기준형 보다 약 10~15% 증가하였다. 유속이 0.0~0.6m/s로 증가할 때 비탈그물의 섶장의 기울기 변화량은 약 0~63˚, 제2원통 섶장의 기울기 변화량은 약 0~44˚이었다. 4. 부가중량추의 적정 무게는 약 2.6~3.6gf이었고, 적정 부착위치는 부가중량추와 연결부분인 그물자락사이 연결줄의 길이가 약 300mm인 C-type과 연결줄 없이 직접 부착한 D-type이었다.

본 연구는 실제 정치망 어장에서의 조류에 따른 어구 형상 변형을 추정하고, 그 변형을 최소화시키며 어구의 기본 기능을 유지시키는데 필요한 수중 현상과 어구 내부용적을 적절하게 유지할 수 있는 설계의 기본 자료를 얻기 위한 목적으로 회류 수조에서 모형실험을 실시하였으며, 흐름에 따른 대뜸의 멍줄에 작용하는 장력, 정치망 내의 유속변화와 그물형상의 변화를 측정하였다. 1. 유속이 0.0m/s에서 0.6m/s로 증가 할 때에 유속 (v)에 따른 장력(R)의 실험식은 운동장 조상의 경우 R=19.58v1.98(r2=0.98) 원통 조상인 경우, R=26.90v1.72(r2=0.95)이었다. 2. 유속변화는 흐름이 망내부를 통과함에 따라 감소하여 운동장이 조상인 경우, 제1원통내부에서 0.1m/s일 때 약 70%, 0.2m/s일 때 60%, 0.3m/s일 때 약 50%, 0.4~0.6m/s에서는 약 40%정도로 초기유속에 비해 감소하였다. 원통이 조상측일 경우, 제2원통을 통과한 흐름은 초기 유속의 약 30~60%로 급격히 감소하였고, 제1원통에서는 약 20~30% 비탈그물에서는 약 10~20%정도 감소하였고, 운동장내에서 다시 유속이 증가하였다. 3. 운동장이 흐름의 조상측인 경우, 운동장그물의 기울기 변화량은 0~70˚까지, 비탈그물은 0~63˚까지 변화하였고, 조하측인 제2원통은 0~47˚까지 변화하였다. 유속이 증가함에 따른 까래그물의 깊이 변화는 초기 깊이에 보다 제1원통과 제2원통이 약 0~45%정도, 비탈그물이 약 0~37% 정도로 감소하였다. 4. 원통이 흐름의 조상측인 경우, 제2원통의 기울기 변화량은 약 0~70˚까지, 비탈그물은 약 0~55˚까지, 조하측인 운동장은 0~50˚까지 였다. 까래그물의 깊이 변화는 초기 깊이와 비교해서 제1원통은 약 0~35%, 제2원통은 약 0~20%, 비탈그물은 약 0~35%까지 감소하였으며, 유속이 0.5m/s이상에서 비탈그물이 원통 입구까지 부상하여, 원통 입구를 90%이상 막았다. 5. 어구의 변형을 최소화하고 전개용적을 증가시키기 위해서는 입구 및 운동장 부분에서는 힘출의 저조시 수심 위치에 중량추를 부착하고, 운동장 바깥쪽과 제1원통의 섶장과 까래그물 제2원통의 바깥쪽, 비탈그물의 까래에 부가 중량추를 부착하는 것이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

구름이 유입하는 경우 해양대기경계층의 발달을 분석하기 위하여, 울릉도에서 관측한 레윈존데 자료와 AWS 자료, 위성사진, 동해에 설치된 부이 자료를 이용하였다. 이 자료를 이용하여 열의 이류와 표층 열속, 구름 유입에 따른 복사에너지를 추정하였다. 혼합층 내의 열 변화 및 혼합층의 발달을 표층 열속과 구름에 의한 장파복사속으로 설명하였다. 열속의 변화를 알아보기 위해 벌크법을 이용하였다. 울릉도, 동해상의 부이, 포항에서 관측한 자료를 이용한 열수지 방정식으로 대기경계층의 열보존 관계를 분석하였다. 구름의 유입으로 인해 일몰 후 지면의 복사냉각이 방해되고, 구름에서 장파복사가 방출된다. 그로 인해 야간에 오히려 기온이 증가하였다. 또 남서쪽으로부터 따뜻한 공기가 이류되어, 하층 대기의 온도를 증가시켰다. 이러한 이유로 혼합층이 파괴되지 않고, 잔류층을 형성하며 남아있었다.

동절기 시설내 온도분포를 균일하게 하기 위하여 온풍난방기용 이중덕트를 개발하고자 본 연구를 수행한 결과 관행 온풍덕트의 각 지점간 토출구 송풍온도 차이가 13 ～ 14℃인데 비하여 개선형 덕트인 이중덕트의 토출구 송풍온도 차이가 3 ～ 4℃로 나타나 각 지점간의 온도 불균형이 크게 개선되었으며 이중덕트의 각지점간의 생육정도도 관행덕트에 비해 크게 향상 된 것으로 나타났다. 수량에 있어서도 관행덕트를 사용한 재배시설에서 10a당 3,924kg에 비하여 이중덕트를 사용한 재배가 4,616kg으로 약 17%가 증수되었다. 그리고 반촉성 재배기간 동안 난방에 소요된 연료소모량은 관행덕트가 3,724ι/10a인데 비하여 이중덕트가 3,233ι 13%의 연료절감효과가 있다.

Through 16-17th century, Neo-Confucianism was accepted and extended to Chosun Dynasty. The architecture of the Taegae school made buildings of Yongnam area rich by adding the regional characteristics based on Taegae's thought of architecture. The following is the architectural characteristics of the academic clique around Sangju. Transformation such as separation and combination of the Jeongsa space by function, lifted floor type reflecting local feature or high platform was appeared, and the architectural characteristics of the Taegae school, that is, a small scale, a moderate figure, a type of side-attached floor, landscape, were still maintained at the same time. The characteristics of the Taegae school and regional figure of Sangju were well joined. The upper class houses, Seodang, Jeongsa and Seowon, built by Confucianist had shared common Confucian characteristics in spite of their different purposes. The world view of the Confucianism such as sacrifice for sages, cultivation, devoting for study, teaching disciples, and education for villagers was revealed through the Confucian architecture including dwelling houses during the 16-17th century. Buildings of Confucianist were focused on the space for men. Seoae and Kyumam built two different Jeongsa's inside and outside of the boundary of the nakdong river. While Seodang and Jeongsa located outside of the boundary of the river were built excluding spaces for living, the function of the Jeongsa located inside of the boundary of the river was assimilated by Sarangcahe. However, both buildings kept the function for cultivation, devoting for study and teaching.
