        본 연구는 식물공장에서 인공광원에 따른 서로 다른 파장이 ‘Seneca RZ’와 ‘Gaugin RZ’ 반결구 상추의 광합성 특성, 생육 및 기능성물질 함량에 미치는 영향을 밝히고자 수행하였다. 본 실험에서는 FL(fluorescent lamp), 적색LED와 청색LED 및 백색LED(RBW; red : blue : white = 5 : 4 : 1)와 MH(metalhalide lamp)를 사용하였다. 두 품종 모두 생육 중기에는 RBW에서 광합성속도가 높고 생육 후기에는 ‘Seneca RZ’ 품종은 RBW에서, ‘Gaugin RZ’ 품종은 MH에서 그 생육이 좋았다. 반결구 상추의 생육은 광원에 따라 생육 차이를 보였으나 각각의 광원의 영향은 품종에 따라 서로 다른 결과를 보였다. ‘Seneca RZ’ 품종은 생육 중기에는 MH에서, 생육 후기에는 FL 에서 생육이 좋았고, ‘Gaugin RZ’ 품종은 생육 중기와 후기 모두 MH에서 생육이 좋은 결과를 보였다. 그러나 수확시기에 ‘Seneca RZ’ 품종은 모든 광원 처리에서, ‘Gaugin RZ’ 품종은 FL을 제외한 나머지 광원에서 반결구 상추의 잎끝마름증이 발생하는 결과를 보였다. 생육 단계별로 두 품종 모두 생육 중기가 후기에 비해 전반적으로 생육속도가 빠른 결과를 보였다. ‘Gaugin RZ’ 품종에서 생육 중기에만 광원 종류에 대한 생육속도의 차이를 보였고 생육후기에는 광원의 종류와 품종의 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 인공광원에 따른 두 품종의 반결구 상추의 영양학적 특성은 대부분의 성분에서 광원의 종류에 따른 통계적 유의성이 인정되어 광질이 반결구 상추의 영양학적 품질에 미치는 것으로 판단하였다. 두 품종 모두 RBW에서 4종의 비타민 함량이 높은 결과를 보였으며, 특히 β-Carotene의 함량이 ‘Gaugin RZ’ 품종의 MH에서 가장 높은 결과를 보였다. 이상의 결과에서 인공광원의 종류에 따라 반결구 상추의 생육, 광합성 특성 및 영양학적 품질이 차이가 있으나 품종과 기능성 물질에 따라 각 광원의 영향이 서로 다른 결과를 보여 식물공장 내에서 재배하는 품종과 증진시키고자 하는 기능성 물질에 따라 광원의 선택을 고려해야 할 것으로 판단하였다.

        HBD(Hot Box Detector) is a device to monitor temperature rises to inappropriate lubricant use or mechanical defects. If a train operates without recognizing such an effect, it might result in bearing overheating due to defects and cause a dangerous situation that it could derail a train owing to the damage of axles. Now for the Gyeongbu HSL at 300km/h, the laws related to monitoring overheated axle bearings are notified in the Railway Safety Law and the Railway Construction Law. But in case of the conventional speed-up lines that a train operates at 180 to 230 km/h, the revised bill of relevant standards is ongoing. Therefore in this paper we present references and reviews investigated in order to use the optimal HBD in the conventional speed-up lines.

        The overall goal of a safety based railroad system is either to eliminate hazards in designing or to minimize the possibility of it. In order to indicate system safety or low risk although it may not be possible to achieve zero risk conditions, first, it shall ensure that any disasters would occur due to system operation because the prescribed specifications are properly fulfilled and there are no failures of any kind. Second, the risk of faults or failures leading to a mishap must be eliminated or minimized by using fault-tolerance or fail-safe procedures. This paper will attempt to summarize the personal and social risk criterion at widely scattered points, presently used as a safety approach in all over EU, in order to establish the step by step procedures of the detailed standard for railway facilities. In addition, we present the new safety analysis method using the SIL-based evaluation standard and the Reachability Graph of the Petri Net.

        This study was to find out the relationships between whiteness, hardness, crack ratio, broken rice ratio, increased grain temperature, moisture content, electric energy consumption, and optimum conditioning of grain temperature for the milled rice efficiency and quality maintenance during the milling process of brown rice at low temperature. There was no significant difference between the whiteness variations of white rice after milling process when the conditioning grain temperatures ranging from 0 to 20oC was used. The crack and broken rice ratios of white rice and the hardness of brown rice decreased with an increased in the conditioning grain temperature. Conditioning grain temperatures of 12, 20oC are applicable to appropriated standard of temperature (15oC) after milling process. In the case of low temperature of grain, there was steadily increase the rate of changing moisture contents because of dew condensation. There was 2.62~14.28% decline of electricity energy for milling process when the temperature of grain was higher than 0oC. Therefore, it needs to control temperature over 10oC for appropriate milling in winter season.

        This study was carried out in order to investigate sterilization effect and to extend storage periods of the Rubus coreanus by treating with tap water (TW), electrolyzed water (EW) and aqueous chlorine dioxide (ClO2). After each treatment plot was soaked with 10, 50, 100, 200 ppm in each sterilizing solution within 30 sec, each treatment was compared during the storage time at room temperature and refrigerator temperature. As results of total plate count according to temperatures and periods, the microbial sterilizing power of each treatment plot was bigger at EW and ClO2 treatment plots than the TW treatment plot; however, it sharply increased on the high concentration ClO2 treatment plot. Futhermore, the cold storage treatment plot had more outstanding microbial sterilizing power than the room temperature treatment plot. As a result of observing the surface of the Rubus coreanus using scanning electron microscope (SEM), no microbe was seen in EW and ClO2 treatment plot. The results of measuring enzyme activity showed a more significant decrease in EW and ClO2 solutions treatment plot than TW treatment plot but gradually increased with time. The contents of total polyphenol revealed similar values on each treatment. The EW and ClO2 treatment of the Rubus coreanus could be considered as good methods for inhibiting microbial growth in fresh vegetables and fruit, thereby contributing to quality maintenance.
