Background: The progressive digitalization of contemporary life, coupled with prolonged sedentary behavior, has contributed to the widespread occurrence of forward head posture (FHP) in the general population. Among the various exercise interventions aimed at correcting FHP, stretching exercises and proprioceptive training have garnered significant attention. Objectives: To investigate the effects of stretching exercises and proprioceptive training on craniovertebral angle (CVA), an indicator of forward head posture (FHP), and on the muscle tone of the suboccipital muscles. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: Thirty participants were randomly assigned to either the stretching exercise group (n=15) or the proprioceptive training group (n=15), and each group underwent intervention three times per week for six weeks. CVA and muscle tone of the suboccipital muscles were measured before and after the six-week intervention, and the results were statistically analyzed for comparison. Results: Both groups showed a significant increase in CVA after the intervention (P<.05), with no significant difference between the groups. The muscle tone of the suboccipital muscles did not show statistically significant changes either within or between the groups. Conclusion: Six weeks of stretching exercise and proprioceptive training both resulted in a significant increase in CVA, demonstrating that both interventions are effective in improving FHP. However, neither intervention produced significant changes in the muscle tone of the suboccipital muscles.
The objective of this study was to assess the effects of gypsum application on dry matter yield (DMY), mineral content of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.), and soil properties in reclaimed tidal land in South Korea. The experiment was conducted in Seokmun, located on the west coast of South Korea, which is reclaimed with approximately 70 cm depth of degraded island soil. Treatments consisted of a control with no gypsum application (G0), 2 ton ha-1 (G2), and 4 ton ha-1 (G4) of gypsum application. The first harvest was carried out when the alfalfa reached 10% flowering, and subsequent harvests were conducted at 35-day intervals. Over the three-year experimental periods (2019-2021), the total DMY of G2 treatment was significantly higher than those of G0 and G4 (p<0.05). Although both G2 and G4 gypsum application treatments lowered soil pH, the G4 treatment increased the electrical conductivity (EC) content of the soil. Additionally, gypsum application affected the mineral contents of alfalfa, resulting in reduced concentration of sodium (Na) and Magnesium (Mg). Therefore, this present study suggests that a gypsum application rate of 2 ton ha-1 is optimal for improving alfalfa dry matter yield and mineral balance, as well as enhancing soil chemical properties in reclaimed tidal land in South Korea.
본 연구는 환경 요인을 바탕으로 절화용 국화 생장 예측을 위한 최적의 모델을 개발하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 이를 위해 13개의 모델(Linear Regression, Lasso Regression, Ridge Regression, ElasticNet Regression, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Support Vector Regression (SVR), Neural Network, Decision Tree, Random Forest, XGBoost, AdaBoost, CatBoost, Stacking)의 성능을 R2, MAE, RMSE를 평가 지표 로 비교하였다. 단일 모델 중에서는 Decision Tree가 가장 우수한 성능을 보였으며, R2값은 0.90에서 0.91 사이였다. 앙 상블 모델 중에서는 CatBoost가 가장 높은 성능을 보였으며 (R2=0.90~0.92) Random Forest와 XGBoost 또한 유사한 성 능을 보였다. 전체적으로 트리 기반 앙상블 모델이 국화 생장 예측에 적합한 모델로 나타났다.
This study aims to identify and prioritize the key factors essential for transforming a traditional port into a smart port using the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (Fuzzy AHP) based on Chang’s extent analysis method. Based on the insights of 30 experts from Vietnam and South Korea, the research framework comprises three main dimensions, namely Policy, Operation, and Environment, which are further divided into ten sub-factors. The analysis revealed that Policy and Operation were perceived as the most critical dimensions, while Environment received relatively less emphasis. At the factor level, Automation & Intelligent Infrastructure ranked highest, followed by Investment & Financial Support, Productivity, and Regulatory Frameworks. In contrast, environmental factors such as Water & Waste Management and Emission Control were ranked lowest. Notably, Vietnamese and Korean experts all value the importance of advanced technology and investment capacity but still have some differences in prioritizing the other factors, reflecting differing national contexts and developmental stages. These findings offer strategic guidance for policymakers and port authorities in tailoring smart port development strategies to local conditions and priorities.
가속화되는 글로벌 환경 속에서 현지 소비자를 유인하기 위한 효과적인 전략에 대한 논의가 활발 히 이루어지고 있다. 특히, 브랜드 글로벌성을 강조한 글로벌 소비자 문화 포지셔닝과 현지 문화 어필을 통해 친밀감을 높이는 현지 소비자 문화 포지셔닝은 해외 기업에게 있어 효과적인 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 구축을 위한 주요한 의사결정 요인이다. 본 연구는 글로벌 패션 매거진의 내용 분석 을 통해, 패션 브랜드의 매거진 광고에 있어 소비자 문화 포지셔닝의 트랜드를 탐색하고자 한다. 특히, 패션 매거진의 경우, 제품의 속성에 대한 직접적인 정보 전달보다 유명인 광고를 통해 브랜 드 메시지 및 이미지를 전달하는데 초점을 두고, 유명인 광고에 있어 글로벌 혹은 현지 소비자 문 화 포지셔닝의 행태를 탐색하고자 한다. 또한, 유사한 문화권임에도 글로벌성과 현지성의 선호에 따른 브랜드의 전략적 방향이 다를 수 있음을 기반하여, 중국과 일본의 패션 매거진의 내용 분석을 통해 유명인 광고의 차이를 확인하고자 한다. 이를 위해 글로벌 패션 매거진으로 대표되는 Vogue 및 GQ가 2023년에 중국과 일본에서 발행한 패션 매거진을 기반으로 내용 분석을 실시하였다. 분 석 결과, 중국의 경우 현지성을 강조한 유명한 광고의 빈도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 글로벌 명 품 브랜드의 경우, 중국과 일본 모두에서 표준화된 글로벌 접근이 지배적인 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 패션 매거진의 통합적인 내용 분석을 통해 유명인 광고의 글로벌성과 현지성의 패턴을 비교 분석하였다는 점에서 학문적인 의의가 있으며, 유명인 광고의 패턴은 국가별 차이가 있음을 확인하 고, 특히 중국의 경우, 소비자 친밀감 및 신뢰감을 기반한 현지 소비자 문화 포지셔닝의 중요성을 시사하였다는 점에서 의의가 있는 것으로 판단된다.
This study explored factors affecting variability in second language (L2) learning motivation among Korean university students and how they appraised their L2 learning experience. In this study, 85 undergraduate students majoring in English or English education from three universities in Seoul, South Korea, reflected on their past English learning experience. They drew a motigraph and wrote a retrospective reflection essay covering their English learning that spanned over ten years. Researchers divided participants into two groups: a high variability (HV) group and a low variability (LV) group. Data were analyzed using open, axial, and selective coding. Findings suggest thncontextual factors such as the learning method, atmosphere, and situation were main (de)motivational factors for the HV group. In contrast, the LV group was (de)motivated by intrapersonal factors, including the learning context appraisal. These results imply that visualizing long and short-term goals and positive appraisal of the L2 learning experience can help L2 learners maintain a stable pattern in L2 learning motivation.
본 연구는 기능성 화장품 소재 개발을 목표로 효모 유래 MPC의 세포 생리활성을 조사하였 다. 피부 세포주에 처리된 Cu와 Zn 이온 모두 세포 독성이 확인되었지만, 정제된 MPC는 결합된 금속 이온의 세포 독성을 획기적으로 제거하였다. 게다가 특정 농도의 MPC는 대조군과 비교하여 세포 생존 율을 오히려 약 20% 증가시켰다. MPC 중 효모 펩타이드-Cu(YP-Cu)는 UVB 자극으로 유도되는 세포 내 활성산소의 양을 약 30% 정도 유의하게 감소시켰지만, YP-Zn은 영향을 미치지 못했다. 또한, YP-Cu 처리는 피부 세포에서 콜라겐 유전자의 발현량을 2배 증가시켰고, 프로콜라겐 분비량은 1.7배 증 가시켰으며, UVB 자극에 의한 콜라겐 유전자의 발현 저해에도 효과적으로 대응했다. 결론적으로, 유리 금속 이온 자체는 세포독성 효과로 인해 화장품 소재에 적합하지 않지만, 정제된 MPC, 특히 YP-Cu는 이러한 금속 이온의 독성을 효과적으로 상쇄하고 세포 생존율을 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라, UVB 자극에 따 른 유해 효과를 완화하기 때문에 잠재적 기능성 화장품 소재로 사용될 수 있다.
Photometric and spectroscopic observations of GV Leo were performed from 2017 to 2024. The light curves show a flat bottom at the primary eclipse and the conventional O’Connell effect. The echelle spectra reveal that the effective temperature and rotation velocity of the more massive secondary are Teff,2 = 5220 ± 120 K and v2 sin i = 223 ± 40 kms−1, respectively. Our binary modeling indicates that the program target is a W-subclass contact binary with a mass ratio of q = 5.48, an inclination angle of i = 81.◦68, a temperature difference of (Teff,1 − Teff,2) = 154 K, and a filling factor of f = 36%. The light asymmetries were reasonably modeled by a dark starspot on the secondary’s photosphere. Including our 26 minimum epochs, 84 times of minimum light were used to investigate the orbital period of the system. We found that the eclipse times of GV Leo have varied by a sinusoid with a period of 14.9 years and a semi-amplitude of 0.0076 days superimposed on a downward parabola. The periodic modulation is interpreted as a light time effect produced by an unseen outer tertiary with a minimum mass of 0.26 M⊙, while the parabolic component is thought to be a combination of mass transfer (secondary to primary) and angular momentum loss driven by magnetic braking. The circumbinary tertiary would have caused the eclipsing pair of GV Leo to evolve into its current short-period contact state by removing angular momentum from the primordial widish binary.
Background: Chronic ankle instability (CAI) is very common disease. Strength exercise, balance exercise, and proprioceptive exercise were used to improvement of function for CAI. Isokinetic strength and balance are related to functional movement of lower extremity. Objectives: The purpose was to analyze the effect of muscle strengthening exercise, balance exercise, and proprioceptive exercise on isokinetic strength and balance in young adults with CAI. Design: Randomized controlled trial. Methods: The subjects were 30 young adults with CAI. The subjects randomly divided into three groups: strengthening exercise, balance exercise, and proprioceptive exercise. They performed each exercise for 20 minutes, three times a week for four weeks. They measured isokinetic strength of dorsiflexor and plantar flexor of 60°/sec and 120°/sec, static and dynamic balance before and after exercise. Results: The isokinetic strengths of dorsiflexor and plantar flexor of 60°/sec and 120°/sec were significantly higher in the strengthening exercise group than in the balance exercise group. The static and dynamic balance was significantly higher in the balance exercise group than in other two groups. Conclusion: Strengthening exercise, balance exercise, proprioceptive exercise can improve the muscle strength for CAI. Strengthening exercise and balance exercise can more improve balance than proprioceptive exercise for CAI.
